born-again = baptized in the Holy Spirit
how does God change a wicked sinner into a wonderful, loving christian?..........by the mighty power of the BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
what is the mightiest miracle that the world has ever seen?
Acts 2 pentecost?
splitting of the Red sea?
walking on water?
feeding the 5000 with just a few loaves and fishes?
no,............it is being born-again............don't under-estimate the "BORN-AGAIN" experience..........it is God's mightiest miracle
the sinner has free-will.........how does God change a sinner into a Saint?...........it's not easy!...........ONLY God can do it..........how does a Holy God In-dwell a man?...............it's a Miracle!
how does a Holy God pronounce a sinner to be Righteous?............It's a miracle
when we're BAPTIZED IN WATER.....it's a physical ritual, ,,,,,,,,to show the world that this man has become a christian.
When we're BAPTIZED IN THE HOLY SPIRIT, God places us IN CHRIST..........we are submerged into the Holy Spirit, and we are raised to NEW RESURRECTION LIFE...............we are raised from the dead (Spiritually)....it's a Resurrection!
Hallelujah!
Rom 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
Rom 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Rom 6:5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
water-baptism is a PHYSICAL RITUAL, which is a picture of the DEATH, BURIAL, AND RESURRECTION OF CHRIST.
He died, was buried, and resurrected,,,,,,,,,so we do the same thing (as a physical ritual)........a sign to the world.
BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT is a parallel of the WATER-BAPTISM.
WATER-BAPTISM is physical.
SPIRIT-BAPTISM is a Spiritual event, which is the Spiritual DEATH, BURIAL, AND RESURRECTION of the sinner (now made a Saint)............and the Saint now walks in the foot-steps of the RISEN CHRIST IN RESURRECTION POWER.
WATER-BAPTISM is a physical picture-story of the SPIRIT-BAPTISM.
Its good to repent and be baptize in the name of jesus, and walk in knewest of life. That means keeping the commandment
statues and judgements. Lets take a look at how series these commandment are. Lets read Jame ch2:[10] For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
[11] For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.
Now lets look at the definition of sin in the bible 1John ch3:[4] Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 1John ch2:[7] Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning. And one of the main commandments that goes by people head like a bullet is the sabbath day.
Lets read Exodus ch20:[8] Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
[9] Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
[10] But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
[11] For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
Another thing is the dietary law.....Leviticus ch11:[1] And the LORD spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto them,
[2] Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth.
[3] Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, and cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat.
[4] Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: as the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you. Read the rest now.
Another thing, the lord High days, keep in mind Paul an the apostles kept these high days. Jesus kept these
high day.....Leviticus ch23:[1] And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
[2] Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.[4] These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons. Matthew ch5:[17] Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
[18] For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
[19] Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Lets not forget the fruits of the spirit.
