My mother moved to Texas to pursue her PHD in English. She was very excited and anticipated the adventure of the move.

She rented a uhaul and a couple days before she was to pick it up they called her and asked her if she would like a bigger one for the same price..... she said yes.

What she didn't realize was that it was a 26 ft truck. She pulled her call behind it also which made it almost 40ft. She did pretty well until she got to Northern Texas.....

She made a wrong turn and pulled into a gas station to turn around........

she clipped the gas tank , (apparently knocking it over or damaging it somehow) gas was spewing everywhere, people running in case it blew up. etc etc. It was like a scene from a movie she said.

Police were called, environmental protection agency called etc etc.

After the drama, she was so rattled, all by herself.

She managed to get into Arlington, meeting my sister who helped her find an appartment . (my sister drove about 6 hours to help her)

Please pray for my mother who at age 60 is starting a new life in a place where she knows no one.

Pray that God provides for the fines and insurance stuff related to the accident.

pray that she is able to find a job that will work around her hectic school schedule.

pray for me and my sisters that we have a peace and remember that even though we can't be there, that God is there with her.

It sounds like no one is hurt, Praise the Lord for that! The Lord is so good to us, even when bad things happen, He is in the midst of all of it when we are trusting in Him.

I do trust in You Father and ask that You would bring peace to Miche's mother and give her what she need Lord to get through this time and all that is ahead of her.
Please continue to bless my sister Miche as well Lord and all that is going on in her life.
Thank You Father for Your wonderful mercy that we are so rich in through Jesus Your Son.

Thank you all so much for your prayers. I am hoping to speak to my mother today sometime to see how she is doing. It was tough on her because although she found an apartment, there was a waiting list to have power hooked up at her new home. I think it was hooked up on Friday.

I will let you know soon how she is

My husband and I recently moved (3 mos ago) and had the same U-haul situation...but we refused to accept the lengthier truck due to gas prices, lol. That must have scared her...
I pray that she's given a discernment of her need for God's presence in her life...and that God will step in, in ways that she recognizes Him.

Under the anointing, the spilled gas . . . is a reminder that gas prices
are not as important as 'mother' being protected and safe.

I pray that the insurance carrier will have a contact for 'mother', that
a job will bloom from the accident with the vehicle.
