Large beautiful house dream
(Is this representing the mega church?)

We got blessed with a great big beautiful house, so big that it reminded me of a large fancy hotel lobby. It was a warm looking lodge type home like you would see in Vermont. It had a large beautiful fireplace that was glowing brightly. There were many bedrooms and living areas and in one living area was a large big screen television that I felt it would be great to watch God-tv on to see what God was doing around the world.

We were in the process of moving in and the people who lived there before left it completely furnished including dinner napkins in the drawers. There were decorations around table tops and shelves that were like guitars, and small congo drums, etc. There were all age groups moving in. I remember seeing one lady in the large kitchen who was like the mother type and there were two men also there that reminded me of maybe a pastor and assistant pastor.

I remember seeing at a side door, like maybe the door you would come in through a garage door into the house, a stream of youth. They were young teenagers and one girl told me that she liked country western music. I told her that I had some really good Christian cd's I wanted her to hear, but as I went to go get them, I couldn't find them anywhere!

I frantically ran all over the house but couldn't find any of my possessions. I couldn't find my prize possession which were my music cd's! Even though I felt so blessed even to the point of tears with being able to move into such a large beautiful home, nothing mattered except that I find my music!

As I was running through this large house, I had run right into a large beautiful room that reminded me of a large hotel lobby larger that the section I had come out from. I noticed that there was white carpet and it was soiled in large areas. I felt like if this is my home, I need to cover this up with one of the large Oriental rugs.
As I tried to move one of these rugs, the two men (pastor and ---'t) came up to me and said that I couldn't do this, that this wasn't my home to be able to do this. I didn't understand because I thought I was still in my house. I had run right into another place not realizing it. This I feel represents that I had run out from the sanctuary of the church into the large foyer of the church.

Even though this reminded me of a large mega church, it wasn't the religious type of church with the stained glass windows, etc. It was a warm welcome type home-like atmosphere where there would be family together. What stood out is that the large group of teens that were coming into the church was coming through a side door, like through the garage, and not the way through the large beautiful foyer at the front of the church. These teens were interested in another lifestyle than what they were into. They looked like they were open to being introduced to the true worship of the Lord Jesus, but I couldn't find the true worship that they needed in the church.

I feel the bottom line is that even though a church could be big and beautiful and shows a warm welcome to all, if it doesn't have a true flow of worship and praise to the Lord, nothing else matters.
