Could you please pray for me? Experiencing some pain in my right leg which is making walking difficult. Guess, I should suck it up and go see the doctor but the problem is that I have to redo some x-rays that were done previously that are questionable. But for now? The pain is becoming terrible and I have a full time job, and then my family. My son is going too college in a couple of weeks and I have no time for any extra things to do, even when it comes to my leg. Thanks.

Sometimes the Lord has to get our attention when we get so busy not to spend time with him. Are you putting time into your relationship with the Lord? Remember the 5 virgins who were left behind the Lord told them "I know you not!" They didnt spend time with him so the Lord knew them not. Time is critical now just as our Lord told us look up for our redemption draws near! I am just saying this as you said you were so busy but I do lift up you to the Lord that He surround you with angels and may He touch you in healing! In Jesus's most precious name!!

This is a understanding of the `right` leg and the prayer of Psalms for you, sister !
I do believe in my life, that my body does respond to things I need to pay attention
to, in spiritual matters. Like the black mold caused a lung failure 2/2008.

So . . . I understood the damage to my lungs as Lamed and Yod, under the
following Psalms 119, as a prayer. May the Lord, open to you the parallel as He
sees you seeking for the door to open. In my pain, I have called upon His mercy
and received much help . . . from a Feb. '08, lung air ability of 40%, to in 90 days,
80% . . . increase, in ability to hold air in my lungs. I feel when I re-test, it will have
improved even more.

I am off all five (5) pulmonary RX . . . ( I have never been a smoker, however, the
RX issued . . . were for extreme lung damages ) . . . my recovery is a blessing,
indeed . . . Although, the medical expert's declare that black mold stays in the human
DNA, up to 9 years from exposure. So I will review the 9 Fruit's of the Spirit, and
I will call upon each of the lesson's, for every year the nay-saying declared

How do you do it? You are so gifted in the use of numbers, words, scriptural verses, etc, etc. For 36 years I was a chain smoker and I was truly addicted to cigerattes. Seven months ago with the Lords helps and with the aid of Chantix I quit. Still can't believe it, anybody care to pinch me? But here is where my confusion lies: It is true that my lungs no longer wheeze but for 6 months my legs are experiencing some serious pain. When I wake up in the morning I can not immediately walk and must start my day gingerly getting out of bed and tip toeing until my legs become accustomed to ambulating. Lately its all been a catch 22. Crown 7, I am accustomed to bee bopping around and for me to be gingerly walking in pain is not normal. At least when I smoked I could still bee bop around. I have never had leg problems before and sometimes I wander if I light up just one cig, if the pain would go away. Then the reality returns with warnings going off in my head; IF YOU LIGHT ONE CIGERATE, YOU WILL ONCE AGAIN BE ADDICTED. LIGHTING JUST ONE CIG IS NO LONGER AN OPTION FOR YOU.

So do I try to save my legs or my lungs...so far my lungs are winning this latest battle. And yes, God has been with me battling this addiction.

You totally amaze me with your knowledge. I did the research on Chantix but I did not uncover the information that you did. I have not taken Chantix since March and I did experience some of the side effects. One side effect that I was watching for was severe depression which could lead to suicide. But I can never really say anything negative about Chantix because Chantix has made me somke free. Thank-you and I will call for a doctors appointment, today.

..praying for you, Al. If your x-rays come back showing nothing, you might consider sciatic nerve. There was some kind of flu virus going on here two years ago, which caused a lot of leg and back pain as one of the symptoms. After a month or two it disappeared. I would wait to get the x-ray results and then research the massage therapists web sites. Also, quite a few people who have quit smoking, have developed diabetes in the months to follow. You might want to do a blood sugar test too. But wait for the x-rays first.

Thank-you all for the prayers. The legs are really hurting these last couple of days and I am having some difficulty walking. I think stress is playing a role in the amount of pain I am experiencing. I return to work tomorrow and usually when I keep the leg muscles limbered up they do feel better. And yes Sharon. As a smoker, I never had half of these problems, it feels that my body is falling apart after the fact. But, I don't want to start that nasty habit again with the economy as bad as it is. I also want to witness to people about Jesus without a cig dangling out of my mouth. I want to make the Lord proud. I may be making God happy but my body is sure rebelling.

Adeline, have you considered that the paffliction may be spirit borne? I recently was having pain in my skin / muscles that was sensitive to the touch. At a prayer meeting three of us men were having the same problem at the same time. We rebuked the pain and its root. I rebuked it after it manifested after that night, and it has been gone over a month.

I listen regularly to Martyn Lloyd Jones' (he passed away) sermon recordings which are available weekly at his trust web site free of charge for download. He was a doctor before becomming a pastor in london. He saw so many patients with spiritual issues that led to their health issues, that he decided it would be better for him to try to deal with the patient issues right at the source. So he left his job as a doctor and became a pastor. He has a strong Welsh accent, but his teaching is very pointed towards the source of spiritual problems (much like you would expect from a medical doctor for physical problems). He has been one of the best preachers I have heard. Check him out......

Thank-you for all your prayers. I went to a physician and was diognosed with Plantar Fasciitis which is a painful inflammation of the bottom of the foot between the ball of the foot and the heel. This condition occurs when the patient: wears high heels, gians weight, and increases walking, standing, or stair-climbing. And yes all three are my faults. The pain is now under control and I thank God for this pain to be so fixable. I will keep all of you in my prayers for healing. And Rose? Thank-you so much for your prayers. I really do love you and I hope all is well. Return to us when you are able. Rose sometimes we all need to be still and just know that our God is God. I really do love you as does our LORD!
