from what i am hearing the tax department is looking at taking our perks and getting pastors to pay tax

the reason behind this some have lucretive buisness and own property

my concern is for the small congregations as they cant fork out like the mega churches can

the times are changing i heard this on the local christian radio station

that means those who have house churches will also be expected to pay tax to the tax man

so it is important to keep all your paper work so when the tax man comes a knocking you can show the tax man were your money goes and who you support

what do you say to what i have left hear will you accept this

Amen! I think it would be good for all institutions to pay taxes. There should be no exemption for state approved religions, churchianity included! smile.gif They can never tax the true church, however! Well they can tax our patience with foolish policies, as they are wont to do. However, I look forward to the day when the training wheels fall off of churchianity, and all the temporal perks are gone. Also i think that ministers of religion should be forced to marry anyone the state deems marriable. There should be no discrimination for government servants. Why be high-minded about spiritual adultery with the world and it's systems. True ministers have nothing to do with government perks. They can't be bought with tax exempt status and tax receipts. I say, bring it on! 1dsz5h2.gif

Religious groups have become political organizations, and therefore should be taxed.
