You are perishing, time is ticking in your short life, will you have a sense of urgency when you are on your deathbed? I beg of you to consider your options here, no God, no salvation, atheism (in short NO HOPE), or take a chance on your term "an honest search for the truth". I think chosing no God, no possibility of salvation, atheism, no hope except certain perishing unto death is lunacy. Let's see - I have a choice, something, which may be the best there is possible (God), but may possibly not turn out well if it turns out not to be true, or nothing, which certainly will not turn out well. It is crazy and self destructive to take nothing over the possibility of something....
Will you engage in an "honest search for the truth"? Or do you prefer the joy of nothing but death?
