WINGS of WISDOM

The hawk flys not by the wisdom of man,
The eagle soars high without our command,
They spread out their wings with no need of our nod,
And build up their nests as instructed by God.

We have no say in matters like this,
When it comes to Creation it is as it is,
Our wisdom if worldly will lead us astray,
So we need God's Word to show us the Way.

The Kingdom of Heaven is that which we seek,
We hear Jesus calling and must let Him speak,
In Godly devotion with none to intrude,
We wait on the LORD and our strength is renewed.

Like great birds we rise when storms are in sight,
Soaring clear above them in spiritual flight,
Interceding for sinners who know not God's love,
On divine wings of wisdom sent from above.
