I was watching a show this morning with yet another "going green" segment. I have to admit I was one that rolled my eyes and would not listen to the message. I turned the TV down and went to morning prayer. During that time. I was flooded by this message. I am humbled.

Going Green

Getting ready to live with less.
This generation has never known widespread hunger or rampant poverty. They have never spoken of the “good old days.” These are the good old days that they will speak of to their children and their grandchildren.
Jer 21:5 - I myself will fight against you with an outstretched hand and a mighty arm in anger and fury and great wrath.
We must prepare them to live with less. Less food, less water, less expendable money, less gas, less outside trade. The economic house of cards is about to fold in on itself. The point of overabundance has reached a tipping point on the scale.
This is a call to arms! Not to save a polar bear, not to protect a hole in the sky, but to save mankind!
Turn back, oh man! Turn back from the lavish to the less abundant. Turn from the flashy to the frugal! Develop your habits now! Teach your children to love the Lord God Almighty with all their hearts and minds. Teach them to protect and not pitch out what they have. Hold back their hands when they reach for more and more. This is not to punish them but to protect them!
Write God's commandments on their hearts! Engrave the Lord's name on their minds. For when the next trumpet blows, so blows the winds of change. Is 21:5 - They set the tables, they spread the rugs, they eat, they drink! Get up, you officers, oil the shields!
The Lord your God commanded you to love your neighbor as you love yourselves and yet you do not know your neighbor's name. Do not only store up for yourselves, in time of distress, but store a portion for them as well. A hungry mouth is an open door to the hearing of God's word.
Jezebel, return to your home as you are no longer wanted here. Return to your city of sin. You may cast lots for the souls of those you corrupted but in the end Satan will even take yours. May God have mercy on even you.

Oh how the Lord has been saying over and over again, "I am going to fulfill what I said I would do in this age!" And yet. Scoffers, and those still riddled with the leprosy of having worldly ambitions, and the smell of self promotion emanating from them ...still with smirks of doubt on their lips and eyes rolling in their head in mocking gesture, still...don't believe that the Lord will deal with such petty things as the little issues of personal secret sin! This reminded me that Eloah is. Love IS. Love exists as a primal force in the universe. See it, the Love that drives the motion of the planets, the Love that rules the universe. Let us make this place an Eden again, where man cooperates with God’s love and receives it so that Love creates a garden once again. You can receive it in the Spirit, by faith, before it becomes a physical reality. So go for it. Receive. He would give it to you…and you… and you. Make His earth a garden of joy and blessing again by receiving His Love to rule and reign in your hearts. Embrace Jesus Love fully –100% -- and see it happen.

I remember the days when I was seven years old, like it was yesterday.
My country was still in recovery from the occupation by Hitler, and I as a child saw God's Sun shine on me every day. We had not much, my mom scraped every penny (cent). Yet I found delight in a plate of heated milk with oatmeal for dinner, like it was Heavens food.
We kids played a lot. Mom gave us a rope, two old curtains and ten wash pins. Wow! We were rich! We made our tent and played for hours on end.
Mom listened to us through the open kitchen window and chuckled and praised God.

Twice in summer, on the very hottest days, Mom started to pack a bag, with 20 sandwiches, and one bottle of lemonade. No cooler. She tried to do it quietly so we would not notice, for she knew once we would find out, we would be extatic. YES! We we were to go to the creek! Our neighbour kids went along, and the parade was a feast on its own.
Those were my happiest days in life. For God was smiling upon us every day, as I heard Him chuckle in Heaven!
