The past two days if I close my eyes and rub my face or something like that I see a set of bicycle handle bars with little plastic green stringy thingys hanging from the handles...like a kid often has....and the kid`s hands are upon the handles...and the view is from the eyes of a boy on the seat and taking the wings of flight at breakneck speed...like as if the kid had a camera on his head and I can see the wind flowing through the handle bars by the green stringy things flying in the wind. There is a vague concept of moving hell bent for leather but it is almost like if one was in a simulator and experiencing movement but not really moving...I have no idea what that means...
When I was in the army we had to do drill and a part of a drill was "Mark time." The French apparently had a way of saying it also..."Quick march, go no place"
My favourite "anal oh gee" of "Quick march" is that March is a long cold month and I want it to pass by quickly...Ha!
Vehicles in dreams represent ministries or movement in our lives spiritually. Personal or otherwise. It takes personal foot power to move the bicycle. Your dream concerns personal ministry that is powered by man and not by the spirit. The green stringy things coming out of the "handle" bars represent the flesh, the sinful nature of man.
Galatians 5:16 [This] I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. Galatians 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
When man is in control then we are driven by our own desires rather than allowing the power of the Holy Spirit to move us.
Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded [is] death; but to be spiritually minded [is] life and peace. Romans 8:7 Because the carnal mind [is] enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. Romans 8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
We must humble ourselves and allow the Holy Spirit to work.
Matthew 23:12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.
1Peter 5:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
Our natural power is not enough. We need the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
Good message. Thank you for sharing.
