My Dad is a project manager for IBM. While he was having surgery that he desperately needed, his customer ( another company) started backing out of their agreements. Usually even if it is the customer's fault, rule of thumb in this business is to fire the project manager, regardless as means of finding someone to blame. If he looses this job, everything will be lost and I mean everything! Please pray for my Dad. He is very upset and he doesn't need this, he is literally still bleeding from his stiches. How can we possibly pay for the surgery if he looses his job and therefore his health insurance? My parents would loose their home they waited over 20 years to get and have had rebuilt. LORD, Please help! Do not hide Your face from me in this time of trouble! Please help! (My Dad's first name is Carl. in case you'd like a name to pray over)

All this stress serves only to impede your dad's healing process. What you describe, though, is the nature of the business.

I will be praying that your dad recovers quickly, and that his company would not make his operation a criterion for firing him.

Your dad had the operation while still employed by the company, so he should still have health benefits. I also strongly believe that there are good guys working behind the scenes to turn an injustice into a right. FS, I am not a prophet but I just have this feeling that someone is acting as your fathers advocate. I will be praying for your dad's physical healing as well as for your father's job.

It is these heartless businessmen with their wicked schemes that make me whitehot with indignation.
1. The health insurance must cover, for it happened while in the coverage period.
2. Firing someone for being sick, is blatant satanical.
3. IBM is UNPROFESSIONAL, when they fail to simply put in a spare project manager to cover for the healing time. IBM, are you NOOBS?
4. If he is fired, then there must be some dirty greedy politics involved. Sue them! Show teeth!

Take heed, all businesses that ABUSE someones illness to do the unjust lay-offs caused by your own greed, will no longer prosper!
For any company that is unable to care for their employees, is UNFIT for business anyway.
IBM, you will be monitored to see if you are capable to do the right thing. If not, the end of your existance is at hand.

Dear God, yet another case of blatant injustice is just brought to your attention. How many more are going to suffer from satan induced greed? I demand justice to be done! You want me to be in JOY, but as long as these stories keep rolling over my desktop, I refuse to be joyful and will suffer with the victims. Amen.

I am so sorry, this is just not right. I will be praying for your Dad... you can count on me.. Let us know how he's doing and the status of his job. I feel terrible for you. The same thing happened to my Dad when he had bypass surgery, he was waiting for the doctor's reports on his inability to work so he could get disability, but the fired him first... It was just wrong. And I am all for JUSTICE when it comes to these crooked people.

Praying for healing for Carl, and that the Lord protect his job and your home.

Things just seemed to be going from bad to worse at my Dad's work. The problem seems to be a lot of communication trouble and its difficult to co-ordinate since the customer is half a world away. He is really sweating over this one. The customer can't seem to nail down how many servers it wants moved and when and sends confusing information and often conflicting information on what servers to move and not to move and those to move later. This must go smoothly for him. Thanks for your prayers. This looks like a long way from being over. The good news is that Dad is physically doing better since his galbladder has been taken out, I'm grateful for that. I hope the LORD will take the trouble away like He did the galbladder.

Mom just e-mailed me and told me Dad is depressed over this whole situation. The boss gave him a compliment but, he is too over burdened with this that words of encouragement go in one ear and out the other. So I am urgently seeking the LORD in prayer on this. In a past difficulty that was work related, I let Dad know I prayed for him, and GOD answered the prayer right at that moment and the situation was resolved. Another time the Lord woke me to pray for Dad who was on the way from the airport to work at 3 in the morning. At that moment, a careless driver ran my Dad off the road. He hit the rental car. The car was fish - tailing badly. If there didn't 'just happen' to be an exit ramp imediately in front of him allowing the car a safe place to go, the car would've rolled over an embankment and he would have quite possibly been killed. He doesn't scare easily, but that scared him bad enough he talked of it for quite some days afterwards. Dad is hard hearted when it comes to the LORD but with each answered prayer, his heart is more open. I hope the LORD will clearly let him know that HE is in charge.

and soften the head. in this country it is taught that you have to be self sufficient
and for men, even with no knowledge of God, to be in control of there families.

i ask that God would speak to your father and that he would have a born again

Sorry to hear about your Dad, Dad's can act like "bears", but inside they are marshmellow men.

I was very close to my Dad too, and God works in mysterious ways.

"Father God, I lift up Flying Squirrel's Dad, for healing, peace of mind, and joy. I also ask you Father to strighten out the mess they are having at his work place, so her father can have peace. Protect, his job and show favor upon him. Deliver him from the lions den of IBM, work all things out so her father will see that it is You, Lord and that you will be glorified. Soften her father's heart, to be open to Salvation, and all Your blessings. Go before him, be above and below him, and on all sides of him keeping him safe. i am praying for your dad

This weekend DAD'S job situation went from worse to much worse....He asked who was in charge of a server. No one would answer him. Because he kept asking who this orphan server belonged to so he could schedule maintance for it, he got people angry, all the way to the President! Now everybody is mad at him just because he asked for information he needed to do the job he was hired for! Please keep praying! I keep praying for him and it seems like GOD is not doing anything but I know that there are battles being fought that I can't see and I will keep believing GOD will answer! I might also mention there a 15,000 medical bill for his surgery to pay out of pocket AFTER insurance paid that he has to pay for....my Dad is very very depressed! Nothing is enjoyable in life right now. I am really praying GOD throws him a life perserver of encouragement...
