LESSON TITLE : " NON-STEEL 1977 PENNY "
While walking my dog, I found a 1977 penny on the pavement. Seemed
nothing out of the ordinary on a July 10th, 2008, by finding a not very well
preserved COIN.
Then as I examined the COIN, I decided since 1977 was linked to my
High School Class Year, to research the value of a 1977 Penny.
Review the following coin research results . . .
Title : What is the value of a 1977 penny that is made of steel ?
What is the value of a 1977 penny that is made of steel?
In: Coins and Currency
Answer
Since there were none minted from steel that year, I would have to assume it is either plated (with silver, zinc, or nickel) which has no collector value, or it was minted on a foreign planchet, which would be worth about $50
You can verify that it is not steel by trying to stick it to a magnet. If it does not stick, then it is not steel.
http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_is_the_valu...s_made_of_steel So I used a magnet to determine, that indeed the coin I had found
is `not` sticking to the magnet.
And I said to myself, " Well, it could have been worth $50.00 " ?
And I just kept this bent little 1977 penny, on my desk.
Until, I read Humble Bob's topic post, which brought my attention to the
story posted by LoisFaith2000. ( see excerpt below with link )

http://www.christian-forum.net/index.php?showtopic=15353`ANGEL OF CHANGE` ANOINTING WITH OIL . . . The old threepenny
piece was disregarded a long time ago and is no longer relevant for
use, even though it's an interesting-looking coin.
I read this story of the angel visitation, the finding of a threepenny
piece and the silver jug of anointing oil with which the angel used.
And then I reviewed the " NON-STEEL 1977 PENNY ", still laying
on my desk from July 10th, 2008, last week.
And then I knew why, that I had stated to myself, " Well, it could have
been worth $50.00 " ?
Just like the ole threepenny piece, disregarded a long time ago and is no longer relevant for use.
I then realized the parallel's between these commentaries :
~ What is the value of a 1977 penny that is made of steel ? ~ What is
the value of an ole threepenny piece ? ~
I said, " Have we disregarded a long time ago, a walk with the Lord,
commissioned to a `mission` by divine purpose ? "
In rethinking the parallel's I began to see, " What we have thought was
no longer relevant for use in spiritual support, holding no monetary value,
has been disregarded ".
Then I realized, yes, Humble Bob is so very correct in his lesson to
the forum :

Tell me, who is in need of oil here? There is still time, time to top off, time to change
So . . . so correct.
Still ( steel ) time, time to top off the oil anointing from the angel,
time to change ( coin/change/penny/threepenny piece ).
And most certainly, the lesson presented by Humble Bob, is
bringing the oil lamps and the virgins, pointing to this `change :

Taking It By The Numbers, The Lesson of all Lessons
http://www.christian-forum.net/index.php?s...t=6&start=6 However, if this stone is not moved by the time the worst has come many, many Christians will suffer and cry for the morning light at the darkest hour. The five wise bridesmaids did NOT proceed into the kingdom before the five foolish brides maids; they are just better prepared to cope with the hardships because their faith and understanding is greater than the foolish ones. Doesn't anyone get it? The oil in the bridemaids lamp is understanding and faith in Christ and it's not something that can be easily shared with someone having little oil when the bridegroom comes. That's why the wise bridesmaid told the foolish ones to go get your oil else where, there is not much time.
So, back to the matter of these scriptures. There is still time to gain oil before the last hour comes. I'm telling you all the truth!
