this is when the Animal sacrifice , GT, and wrath of the Lamb is complete, Jesus is in Jersualem ruling.

8: And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?
9: And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

Thanks, but you must understand something, we are in the GT now..its more of a spiritual tribulation for the church..and we are nearly at the end of it..The abmonation that maketh desolate is revealed, its the false deluded religous world, the word of God has been ignored, and all types of false theologies rule the churches of today..

Yes it is.

The marker of The two witnesses taking away God's daily sacrifice to man starts it all. Then the two witnesses are killed and resurrected starting at day 1260 and then the final separation of Christ's people and the sons of perdition mark the completion of the abomination of desolation at day 1290. Finally at day 1335 he who is truly blessed "The Lamb arrives from heaven. He catches up His Living Saints and resurrects The dead Saints all in a Moment, in the twinkling of an eye, in a flash of lightning, at the Last trump. Immediately they all fly down on the heads of the enemy as depicted in Joel 2.

Your understanding and interpretation of scriptures are incorrect.
This is nothing personal towards you "Dude"
Often there are new members who come on this forum who quote scriptures, and really do not understand the timing of events.Man is stubborn, and does not like another trying to correct them. But I have respect to one who will admit that they are wrong.

Dude,....The two wittness are killed between the second and third "WOE"
Scripturally, no one can refute this truth.(revelation 11;7,11,14)
The third "WOE" does not happen until satan has been kicked out of heaven as the accuser of the brethren. When satan has been kicked out of heaven,....he will enter the anti-christ's body, and then will commit the "Abomination of Desolation"
thus,...begins the second half of Daniels 70th week, called the Great tribulation.
AS anyone who can see,...the two wittnesses begin their ministry in the first half of Daniel's 70th week.

where do it say that there is a spirtual great trbulation?

Matthew24v

15: When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

what is spiritual about this?

16: Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

what is spiritual about this?

17: Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

what is spiritual about this?

18: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

what is spiritual about this?

19: And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

what is spiritual about this?

20: But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

what is spiritual about this?

21: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

what is spiritual about this?

22: And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

what is spiritual about this?

I read a physical act here in Matthew!

as I read a physical act here in Daniel!

Dan12v

1: And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

2: And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

3: And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

4: But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

5: Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river.

6: And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?

7: And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

8: And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?

9: And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

10: Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

11: And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

12: Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

13: But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.

you greatly error in you observation of a spiritual great tribulation.

the great tribulation starts with the revealing on the AoD moving into a temple decalring himself God.

that is written!!

dude

the 2 witness are killed 3-1\2 days before the 7th trump is blown. when the 7th trump is blown they are raised from the dead, this is the first resurrection which is the 7th trump.

Rev11v

7: And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
8: And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
9: And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
10: And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

11: And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.

12: And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

13: And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
14: The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.

15: And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

1st thes4v

13: But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14: For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15: For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16: For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18: Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

if we are blessed to make it to Rev11v15

15: And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

The 7th trumpet is a judgement trumpet like the other 6 that had already been blown. There is still the 7 bowl judgements that happen after the trumpet judgements.the 7th trumpet judgement is not the same as 1Thessalonians 4;16-17

After the two witnesses are killed and resurrected The lord will return 71 and a half days later. The beginning of the two witnesses ministry, when they close heaven and take God's daily sacrifice away, is the marker for the setting up of the abomination of desolation and the comming of Christ at the 1335th day.

Revelation 11
6 These have power to shut heaven, so that no rain falls in the days of their prophecy; and they have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to strike the earth with all plagues, as often as they desire.

Daniel 12
11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days.
12 Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.

dude

how can they be resurrected before the Lord returns.

Paul wrote

Heb 11:40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

the 2 witnesses have to be resurrected at Jesus return and not before.

it has to be called the 1ST resurrection.

brother Benny

there is no asumption from this brother.

let the bible speak.

a trumpet is sounded, a vial is poured

Rv 8:2 And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.

Rv 8:6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

Rv 15:7 And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever.

Rv 16:1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.

show time

Rv 8:7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

Rv 16:2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rv 8:8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;

Rv 16:3 And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rv 8:10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;

Rv 16:4 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rv 8:12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.

Rv 16:8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rv 9:1 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.

Rv 16:10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rv 9:13 And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,
14: Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.

Rv 16:12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rv 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

Rv 16:17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.

QUOTE

Christ's resurrection was the first or was it Lazarus or the Child that Elijah brought back to life or maybe the little girl that Christ brought back to Life.

The resurrection of the Saints is at Christ's return.

The resurrection of the two Witnesses is a special event because they are not Saints.

They will sit on two thrones on the left and the right of Christ in His Kingdom In front of the twelve thrones of the Apostles.

Matthew 19
28 So Jesus said to them, "Assuredly I say to you, that in the regeneration, when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Mark 10
40 but to sit on My right hand and on My left is not Mine to give, but it is for those for whom it is prepared."

The Two Prophets who tormented the earth will ascend into heaven just like Christ did and they will never die again, just like Christ can't. It is the Lord's Choice that they should be resurrected from the dead in plain sight of the devils who murdered them. Christ was the first resurrected to eternal life. If all tribbers qualify as trib saints, then the two wittnesses are saints also.
About the 7th trumpet,.....it is blown slightly prior to the event of the A.O.D.
Satan cannot blasphemy in the third temple by proclaiming himself god in front of the whole world, unless he has entered the ac's body.
which cannot happen if satan is in heaven accusing brethtren in heaven.
Satan is prophesied to proclaim himself as god when the Abomination of Desolation begins, which is an event that marks the Great Tribulation, which the Lord Jesus spoke the the A.O.D. would begin the last half of Daniels 70th week.
The two wittnesses are raised from the dead in revelation 11;11 during the second "WOE"
Revelation 12;12 is associated with the timing of the third "WOE" and with satan being cast out of heaven. All of this is associated with the beginning of the A.O.D. which is the half way point of Daniels 70th week.
This information proven by Jesus and the scriptures is not refutable.
It is plain for all to see.To say otherwise, would only reveal the immaturity of the one who would object.

Jesus’ response was directed to the two sons. Four points emerge in verses 22-23. First, Jesus states that the two brothers "do not know what [they] are asking." In a kingdom marked by the reversal of human values, the positions of honor are quite different from the normal human expectations. Second, Jesus asks if they are able to "drink the cup that I am about to drink." The Old Testament contains numerous references to the "cup" as a metaphor for a destiny of suffering. (See Isaiah 51:17 and 22; Jeremiah 25:17-29; and Ezekiel 23:31-34 for examples.) By the time Matthew’s narrative reaches the Garden of Gethsemane the full meaning of the "cup" that Jesus was about to drink becomes clear. The sons of Zebedee confidently claim their ability to drink that cup. This led to Jesus’ third point. In fact, they will drink of the same cup of suffering. Acts 12:2 records James’ death for the sake of Christ and tradition mentions imprisonment, exile, and being boiled in oil as part of the price John would ultimately pay for his faith. However, regardless of their willingness to drink the same cup of suffering, the glory of kingdom honors is not given to Jesus to bestow. That most delightful duty of the final judgment is reserved to God the Father. In affirmation of God’s omniscience Jesus states that God has already prepared those positions in anticipation of that great day.

Jesus’ response to James and John appears gentle but firm. He will not allow them (or their mother) to entangle him in a scheme where the self-centered values of this world prevail. The other ten disciples are less charitable. Their response upon discovering the scheme of James and John is anger. The context makes it clear that it was not righteous indignation, but raw jealousy that occasioned their anger. Their hearts were not more pure than James and John; rather they were upset that the sons of Zebedee had beaten them to the punch.

Their indignant response provided a further teaching opportunity for Jesus. He pointed out what they already knew quite well. This world operates on the basis of power, prestige and status. However, verse 26 proclaims, "It will not be so among you." To be a follower of Jesus is to renounce the schemes of self-advancement, status and power that are so common in our world. Rather, spiritual leadership involves servanthood. The reversal of values alluded to in the strange saying of the first being last and the last being first must be lived out in Christian relationships. First among followers of Jesus are those who become slaves to all the rest.

If that were not clear enough, in verse 28 Jesus reminded the disciples of his own mission. He had not come to be served but to serve. Then, using the language of Isaiah 53 he points to his forthcoming death. He will give his life as a ransom for many.

Excellent. The two witnesses give their life for Christ as well. never the less their ministry begins the countdown to day 1335 when the Lord returns. They will be resurrected from death before the Apostles and the rest of those who sleep in Christ.

The setting up of the abomination of desolation begins at the same marker.

It is the two witnesses who take away the daily sacrifice.

Because there is no water on earth for three and a half years some will start hunting and killing people for food (the abomination of desolation).

The abomination of desolation is complete and the devil people and the true Christians are totally separated at day 1290.

Daniel 12
11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days.
12 Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.

Revelation 11
6 These have power to shut heaven, so that no rain falls in the days of their prophecy; and they have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to strike the earth with all plagues, as often as they desire.

There is nothing to refute because there is no case to be made on these scriptures. Revelation 11:11 Just tells about the resurrection of the two witnesses nothing more.

The scripture in rev 12:12 Is just telling you that the devil has come down to you.

Take away his food and water for three and a half years and you become his bread and water. And in the name of Jesus no less.

Such is the vileness of man on the face of the earth.

Nothing will stop him when every government and policing agency will be gone.

Revelation 12
12 Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time."

Revelation 11
11 Now after the three-and-a-half days the breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and great fear fell on those who saw them.
