I have a "Praise the Lord" to share.

I knew I had to call my dad to tell him that me and the kids would be moving soon.

I wasn't sure what to expect. He is usually very critical about everything I do.

He and I have not had much of a relationship in the past. Especially the past three years.

He seemed very nice and supportive.

It really blessed me.

I just had to share it with you all.

What a blessing....who knows how many times he stood looking out the kitchen window and wished you were there....or cleaned out the garage and thought about all of the things he wished he had told you rather that the things he actually said to you....maybe he'll soften up and see you for the loving responsible adult that you are.

Miche,

I am so happy for you. I understand what it is like to not have a supportive parent. My mother and I were never close until she was dying. Funny thing happened as her physical health left her; the Lord found her. Mom and I began to have a relationship a year before her death. I have learned that when you pray for someone...watch out and see what God does!

Miche, I will keep you and your kids in your prayers. Just remember..."If God is for you who can stand against you?"

Love,

Al

I am happy for you Miche, after the rain, the moment of the first rays of sunlight breaking through the cloud deck, makes all the birds sing "Purdy Purdy"
