We have waited for almost 3 years to finally get to move home. My kids and I have litterally been living like refugees. No home, none of our stuff, only clothes that we purchased in the 3 years. We are finally moving back home.

In the mean time..... between now and mid-September, My children are having to live apart from me in order to spend time with thier father. He left me to marry someone else after 15 years and two amazing kids. Needless to say, my children are not happy with him.

He is not allowing them to see any of their friends nor go to a camping trip that was scheduled . I encouraged him to go with them, I think maybe he is considering it.

Please, will you pray mostly for my children? They are so upset. My daughter wept and clung to me when her dad picked them up. I don't get to see them for two months. It will be tough on all of us.

Please pray for my husband (ex) that the scales will fall from his eyes.

I have you, your kids and your ex husband uplifted in prayer. i know how they must be feeling, the same kind of thing happened to me when i was little, mum and dad divorced and it was a hard time when i went to see dad. But things will turn out well, just keep your eyes on God and we will keep praying with you. Dont worry about them, God wont let anything happen to your kids. He will look after them AND you. I hope and pray that you find yourself at peace during these two months when you wont see your kids. And i also pray that you will settle into your home ok.

My prayers are with you and your kids. I've been through all of this. I tried to make friends with all of my ex-husbands wives and live-in girlfriends so they would treat my kids well. Unfortunately, most of them were still abusive to the point my kids started going out-of town to stay with relatives rather than with their dad.

In case you dont completely know it Miche, you are dearly loved by so many. Yes, here on this forum, but knowing how you are, Im quite sure that everyone in your life truly loves and cares about you and your children.

You are always the prayer warrior for others and you always have kind and uplifting words for your friends here.

Im sorry that you and your kids are going through any of this, but I also know that we have a Father and a Lord and King that is all powerful and is loving and compassionate toward His children.

I am pressing into the Lord. How can I do otherwise? I have seen him do many miracles in the past three years. I may have been stuck in the desert. (litterally), but I have seen the Manna. We have been provided for. How could I not trust him now?

I agree, God will use this too. Perhaps to get my husbands attention. Perhaps to strenghten my children. Perhaps to bless us in some un seen way.........

Prayers are working.

My son told me that his dad is taking them to youth group tomorrow and possibly letting them go on the camping trip this weekend.

my husband thanked me for the food I sent with the kids and my son told me that he is seperating photos out giving me half. (I pray he scans them all and puts them on a disk so we both can have all of them)

I pray that God gets hold of his heart. But I no longer feel anxious about it. It is in Gods hands. I have peace whatever happens.

I was in a horrible situation where I lost my children 4 six years, its a very long story that I will not post here, however I had no contact with them because of lies, deciet, and corruption. I fought and fought, I was in court n front of a corrupt judge 2xs a month for 2 years fighting so hard for my kids. Finally when I had nothing left in me to fight with I found God. SOmething inside me told me to "Leave it in the lords hands", and I did. I did not doubt for a second that God would undue the wrong and he did. My children are home and with all of the years of fighting it only took a matter of months for the lord to bring them back to me...........................have faith and all will be well. My prayers are with you.

My children did indeed get to go on the camping trip with me.

I can't say we had a really good time, because of the accident (I shared in another post) But I am blessed they got to be with thier friends and with me.

This is the first time my kids have been away from me for an extended time.

They have to spend the next 60 days with thier dad before I move them back home. (different state)

It is hard on them and it is hard on me.

Please pray that God gets a hold of thier Dad. He has made many poor choices that has ruined our family. God is bigger than he is though.

It is in Gods hands, and I have no expectations.

I only want to please the Lord

I am no longer so arogant to believe that I know what Gods will is. But....... I have learned to trust him regardless.
