To My people who gather together in the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace for the purpose of establishing My kingdom on the earth:

I call you to run to the battle, take the land, and stand your ground.

I will establish you as My garrison so that you shall never be overtaken or moved by the enemy. You are My warriors, dressed for battle, and I am with you to strengthen you. I have taught you how to make war and to take the victory. Fight the good fight, says the Lord.
Psalms 18:34 He teaches my hands to make war, so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.
Definition of garrison: a military post; a permanent military installation; the troops stationed at a garrison.

The spoken word is one of the most powerful abilities given to man by God. With it we can build up or tear down, comfort or devastate, love or hate. For the spoken word is the evidence of what it is in our hearts. With it God created the heavens and the earth and through it He saved you and me. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1 Jesus did not just use words, Jesus is the Word. How can we as mere mortals possibly use such a powerful tool without failing? We cannot. That is why the Lord wants you to look to Him and His Word. It will never fail. That is why it is foolish to rely on what people say or think if what they are saying or thinking is not based on Gods word. Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the Gospel. Ephesians 6:19 The only time you can be confident in what you say or hear is when it is done according to the principles of God. And, while God never condemns anyone, neither does He change His Word to fit your situation. Compromise is not something God does, ever! Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in the manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Philippians 1:27 If you want to put into practice just this one sentence, it will take you the rest of your life and then some!

June 25, 2008. You have a good heart. It is always the heart that concerns Me. The heart is connected to the mouth. It is what comes out of the mouth that defiles the man. Keep the heart pure and from it will come purification of your mind and your mouth. With an impure heart, all manner of evil can come forth to your destruction. You are so concerned about what goes into your mouth. Many want to have rules and regulations to follow so that they can please Me. How foolish! All I want is a pure fountain flowing through a pure mouth. I say unto you this day, cleanse your lips. Matthew 15:18-20 "But the things that proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and those defile the man. "For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications , thefts, false witness, slanders. "These are the things which defile the man; but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile the man." Ras Robinson.

June 25, 2008. You organized your thoughts before you spoke and waited on the right timing, and it has gone much better than you anticipated. I am telling you, do this often and you will see how well you are received. Pray, seek, think it through and wait on Me. Timing is one of the most important things to get right. While you are waiting I am preparing hearts to hear you. If you are interrupted when you start to speak, don't push on through for the purpose of being heard. Interruption is My signal telling you wait. I have a better time. Wait for the right time. You will be known for wisdom. Proverbs 8:12-13 "I, Wisdom, live together with good judgment. I know where to discover knowledge and discernment. All who fear the LORD will hate evil. Therefore, I hate pride and arrogance, corruption and perverse speech." Bev Robinson.

Alas! and did my Savior bleed
And did my Sovereign die?
Would He devote that sacred head
For sinners such as I?
[originally, For such a worm as I?]

At the cross, at the cross where I first saw the light,
And the burden of my heart rolled away,
It was there by faith I received my sight,
And now I am happy all the day!

Thy body slain, sweet Jesus, Thine—
And bathed in its own blood—
While the firm mark of wrath divine,
His Soul in anguish stood.

Was it for crimes that I had done
He groaned upon the tree?
Amazing pity! grace unknown!
And love beyond degree!

Well might the sun in darkness hide
And shut his glories in,
When Christ, the mighty Maker died,
For man the creature’s sin.

Thus might I hide my blushing face
While His dear cross appears,
Dissolve my heart in thankfulness,
And melt my eyes to tears.

But drops of grief can ne’er repay
The debt of love I owe:
Here, Lord, I give my self away
’Tis all that I can do.

QUOTE
To Your God, You Are So Dear....
Where Do I Go From Here? The Choice Is Clear!
And the roll is called up yonder, I’ll be there.

Beloved, clear your mind and silence your flesh. Things have not worked out as you planned, but I am bringing you by a way that you have not known, and I am doing things in your life that you have not expected. These things are for your good. I want to bring you to a higher spiritual level where you can see clearly that your position in My kingdom is not about your desires or satisfying your flesh or meeting your financial expectations; it is about living in the Spirit where My purposes become your purposes without question, says the Lord.
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Galatians 2:20 "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me."

Galatians 2:20 "I have been crucified with Christ;
it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me;
and the life which I now live in the flesh
I live by faith in the Son of God,
who loved me and gave Himself for me."

” Today is a day of trouble, insults, and disgrace. It is like when a child is ready to be born, but the mother has no strength to deliver the baby. “ [ 2 Kings 19:3]

It’s that moment when you come to terms with a sense of powerlessness—something happens and there’s nothing you can do—you go to the gas [petrol] station and realize the cost is outrageous—but there’s no way out—there’s no way around it—you just have to go through…

Going through is what separates the men from the boys—those who mimic from those who are truly mature and those who know about Christ from those who know Christ. It’s a season when push comes to shove and like the proverbial grape the squeezing proves the quality of juice produced. It reminds me of the battle at Ramoth Gilead—Ahab went into battle disguised and was killed when. ”…someone drew his bow at random and hit the king of Israel---“ and…”…at sunset he died.”

On the other hand King Jehoshaphat made sure everyone knew who he was and in the heat of the battle when the enemy would mow him down ”…he cried out and the Lord helped him. God drew them away from him”

QUOTE
Cry out to the Lord this morning and the power to overcome will come over you, in the midst of the battle God will draw the enemy away from you!

THE FINISHED WORK
Week of June 23-27, 2008

WEDNESDAY
After this Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, "I thirst." Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a sponge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth. When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, "It is finished," and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
John 19:28-30

Why did Jesus say, "it is finished?" Why were these words so important for Him to utter? These appear to be the last recorded words that He spoke as a man on earth before His death. These are the words that He left for those standing by to hear. What do we do with the last earthly words spoken by a person? We have a clue to what is important in that person's life. Finishing the work He came do was important to Jesus, but what is finished for us? If Calvary represents a finished work, then what is finished for us? Calvary represents the finishing of all earthly business. Many people have "issues" that must be dealt with. We've been hurt, disappointed, left alone, cheated, misused. This is unfinished business. Somebody owes us something. We are owed an apology, perhaps money, an education, and a family. Whatever things are missing is finished at the cross. The cross is the only place where everything is finished. The cross represents an end to earthly strife, loss, condemnation, and fear. How is this affected?

To Be Alive You Must First Die!
by Prophet Michael Bacon

The Lord has been sharing a word with me that I would like to impart to the body of Christ. At the beginning of the year the Lord had shared with me that the church would be receiving a new wine in 2008. This new wine would be through the winepress of God as many in the body were and continue to go through a spiritual pressing where God is producing endurance, strength and perseverance to the church. As in the first miracle that Jesus ever performed, Jesus is saving the best wine for last. The church is that new wine that will be poured out on the earth to do great things. The Lord has shown me that we have seen nothing yet of what He will pour out through us in terms of His power, miracles, salvations, and financial blessings. That being said, there are still many Christians who are struggling and seeking God to rescue them from their situations. Many prophetic ministries are receiving hundreds of prophecy requests each month from God's people looking for answers to everyday problems. There is a hunger in the church to hear God speak to His people in relevant ways. The Lord has given me an additional word for the church that I feel led to share. It goes with the new wine message that was shared on Identity Network earlier this year. This word will not be a popular one but it is a necessary one and I believe it has prophetic overtones that will touch your life if you will allow it to minister to you.

Colossians 3:2-6 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For you are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear with him in glory. Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetness, which is idolatry. For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience.

We live in a dangerous time where our generation has become consumed with sin and self. Even those in the church are not walking a life that brings glory to His name. As the Lord was talking to me He gave me this simple message. Tell my people to die so that they may live! I questioned Him and asked what He meant. Did He mean literal death, spiritual death, or even mental death (death of the mind)?

Then the Lord led me to remember the only funeral that I have been to in my life. It was my wife's grandmother's funeral. I didn't know her well but I knew she was a Christian. The Lord reminded me of how when we arrived at the funeral home there were many tears. People were crying, mourning and even wailing over the loss of this dear woman. It was a very sobering moment as it made me personally realize that my own problems and worries were nothing compared to a physical death and an eternity of being with the Lord.

A large crowd of loved ones and friends then made their way to the grave site. The first thing I noticed was a large hole that had been freshly dug to hold the casket that was suspended in the air waiting to be buried. As an observation that I later made, nothing else mattered than the fact that this precious woman had died. No one was talking about their jobs, family, problems, financial needs or anything else. Through the whole funeral ceremony there was a Holy hush, an awareness of the finality of this event. I watched closely as I had never been to a funeral in my life. I could feel my own tears well up in my eyes as her body and coffin was lowered into her final resting place. I didn't know her that well while she was alive but I could feel the pain of those around me. It was very hard for some of the family to say goodbye and come to terms that she was really dead and would never be seen again until heaven. Some prayers were said and people finally scattered to go on with their busy lives. The final scene was the most provoking to my spirit as I stood back and watched as the bulldozer pushed the dirt down on top of her coffin. It was then that the Holy Spirit showed me my own life and areas I needed to turn over to Him.

The Lord brought this day to my memory because He wanted me to be reminded of what it is really like to die. Not just the act or process but the emotions that were felt. The Lord showed me that His people are full of pride, selfishness, emotions, and lust of life. We are part of a generation that represents the "ME" generation. So many people that I meet are consumed with their own life to the point that they can't see past their own problems, dreams, ministries, jobs, and families in order to reach out to others. We have a serious problem today where emotions and the flesh are ruling more than the spirit man. Jesus is calling His people back to Himself. In order to follow Him each of us must crucify the flesh and die to self.

The Lord says to His church. 'Go and prepare your burial site. Dig a hole deep in the ground that will hold your old man or self. Invite all your loved ones and friends to your funeral. Go pick your coffin out. See yourself laying down in it for all to witness your death. Watch as they close the lid that final time. See yourself being lowered down into the hole. Hear the cries and wailing of your loss. Finally, listen to the dirt being piled on top of your coffin knowing all that you have left is the Lord and Heaven. See all your worldly desires, feelings, emotions, and life pass away. Embrace the death of your old man that you may now live a life free of sin.'

We don't have to die in the natural to experience this. We can die right now, in the spirit. It is time to have that funeral service. It is time to lay down our lives to follow Him. I am speaking a prophetic word here. Let those that have an ear to hear receive this word. The Lord is instructing His church to die.

Even after our death, some of us may even need to visit our gravesite from time to time as a memorial service to remember that we no longer live but it is Christ who lives in us. We are not our own. We belong to Jesus as we were bought with a price. Our desires, assets, finances, ministries, agendas, dreams, visions, and even our feelings do not matter if we are dead in Christ. Not our will be done but His be done.

Too many people are so worried about their own situations that they are not doing the will of God. The Lord is calling us to a new place of total surrender. He cares about our situations, our feelings, and our lives but these things are secondary to our relationship with Him. He truly has to be first in our lives over all the other things. When we die to ourselves Jesus begins to change our minds about what is important. We begin to walk in His will and these other things that we battle in our life are taken care of.

1 Peter 2:21-25
For you have been called for this purpose, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example for you to follow in His steps, who committed no sin, nor was any deceit found in His mouth; and while being reviled, He did not revile in return; while suffering He uttered no threats, but kept entrusting Himself to him who judges righteously; and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed. For you were continually straying like sheep, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Guardian of your souls.

The implications to dying to self are that we will be returned to a place of closeness with the Lord. The Lord is truly calling His church back to their first love. We can only return to a place of closeness with the Lord when we lay down our lives and choose to seek Him instead of what we desire.

QUOTE
The Lord is calling some of us to die to:

Our reputations - When we are dead we don't care what people think about us
Our feelings - When we are dead we are not easily offended
Our desires - When we are dead we don't choose self over others
Our agendas - When we are dead we are submitted to what the Lord's plans instead of ours
Our ambition - When we are dead we do not seek self promotion
Our pride - When we are dead we are correctible and teachable
Our callings - When we are dead we rely on God to make our calling happen
Our ministries - When we are dead we do not build our ministries the way we think they should be built but in some cases we actually let our vision die so that God can raise up a fresh revelation of how it should be built and what it will become.. When we are dead we realize that the ministry does not belong to us but to the Lord.
Our finances - A dead person owns no possessions. We cannot control or worry about what does not belong to us. Instead we obey God to do what He commands us to do with His possessions.
Our time and schedules - A dead person has not recognition of time. The Lord is calling His people to turn their calendars and schedules over to Him so that He can use them.
Our families - A dead person has no control over their family.
We cannot control or force things upon our families. Instead we must turn them over to God and let Him do according to His will.
Our sins - A person who is dead does not sin. There are no fleshly desires when you are dead. A dead person does not have habits or addictions. The Lord reigns so that the dead person is free from sin.
It is critical in this generation that we repent as a people. Our very nation is being judged as it has not died to sin. Sins such as homosexuality, adultery, fornication, pride, anger, and murder are ruling our lands in this season. God's judgment always starts in the house of the Lord. I know that this message is a hard one to take in and you may have even heard similar words preached before, but the Kingdom of God is at hand and as a prophet I was told to sound the alarm for people to repent and to die to self. I challenge you to take heart to this message and go make preparations to die so that God can raise you up again a new creation. It is then that you will begin to see great miracles in your life.

Blessings,

Book of Joshua - Chapter 1 (KJV)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1Now after the death of Moses the servant of the LORD it came to pass, that the LORD spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' minister, saying, 2Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel. 3Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses. 4From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast. 5There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. 6Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.
You will need to be extra strong and very courageous as you face
crossing this mighty river before you. All your dreams and visions and
even your destiny lie immediately on the other side of this crossing.
I decree today in My mighty name that you will possess this new
possession with glory and presence of your King Jesus. He is your
Mighty Warrior and High Priest. He is your Prophet and Judge. Enemies
will fall like flies on all sides around you. Giants that up until now could
not be harmed because of their size will be reduced to corpses. You will
beard the lion and tame the bear. Only believe and fight with all your might.
Joshua 1:6-7 "Be strong and courageous, for you will lead my people to possess
all the land I swore to give their ancestors. Be strong and very courageous.”

7Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. 8This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. 9Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. 10Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people, saying, 11Pass through the host, and command the people, saying, Prepare you victuals; for within three days ye shall pass over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land, which the LORD your God giveth you to possess it. 12And to the Reubenites, and to the Gadites, and to half the tribe of Manasseh, spake Joshua, saying, 13Remember the word which Moses the servant of the LORD commanded you, saying, The LORD your God hath given you rest, and hath given you this land. 14Your wives, your little ones, and your cattle, shall remain in the land which Moses gave you on this side Jordan; but ye shall pass before your brethren armed, all the mighty men of valour, and help them; 15Until the LORD have given your brethren rest, as he hath given you, and they also have possessed the land which the LORD your God giveth them: then ye shall return unto the land of your possession, and enjoy it, which Moses the LORD'S servant gave you on this side Jordan toward the sunrising. 16And they answered Joshua, saying, All that thou commandest us we will do, and whithersoever thou sendest us, we will go. 17According as we hearkened unto Moses in all things, so will we hearken unto thee: only the LORD thy God be with thee, as he was with Moses. 18Whosoever he be that doth rebel against thy commandment, and will not hearken unto thy words in all that thou commandest him, he shall be put to death: only be strong and of a good courage.
