So, a few weeks ago, I'm getting off work, and, I run a few errands and the HS goes, "Let's go get some coffee" (not verbatim But pretty much the same thing, lol)
So, I'm like thinking, no man, I'm tired of driving around (albeit there is a Starbucks right by my place in downtown Sacramento which was the orginal thought to go to).

So, I pull into the parking lot where I live, and, one more time, "let's get a coffee." So, hearing this twice I go, OK ok (lol), and, drive a few blocks to the Starbucks. I go in and there's a guy (Pat) working who has served me before and he goes, "Hey Jeff, don't you ever sleep!?" (It was about 9ish lol) And I go, well, after work I like to study scriptures etc (I was playing it cool, looking for that "opening" to share lol), and I start telling him some of the cool stuff I was studying. Then, he starts talking like he knows the bible or something and I'm like, hey, you study too? He's all, yeah, I'm a Christian. I was like, wow! LOL! I was like, hey, that's awesome man! So, we end the conversation, and, I tell him I will bring him in some cool verses etc, and, that was it! Funny when He tells you to go somewhere, and, stuff like that happens, lol! Of all the people to run into when He says to go but another born-again, lol.

So, I've been back a few times per being led to go back, and, we've talked a lot, and, he's like a brutha! LOL. I'm supposed to bring him a thing on the kingdom of God that I was studying next time I'm in (per his request), which I will. Pretty cool to have someone to study with outside of church, especially someone that He leads to you run in to lol.

How true, the wind goes where it goes and you don't know where it's going, as are those led by Him. Lol, funny how that stuff works out like that, lol!

Ok, that was my fun story for the week or two.

There was this one time, I was at a secular bookstore in their religion section checking out the used Christian books, and, I saw this Really really cool study Bible, and, He goes, "get the bible." I was just about to buy it when I thought, wait, I have enough Bible's, I don't really need this one. So, I left without buying it. A few days later I had the nagging thought that I should have bought it, that, He actually wanted me to get this Bible for some reason. So, I go Back to the bookstore, hoping that the Bible is still there, and, sure enough, there it is. So, I buy it, and, take it home. Really cool Bible. I liked it a lot. So, next thing, I go to church that week, and, bring the new Bible. And, I see this guy who's around my age there that I talk to all the time, and He goes, "give him the Bible you just bought." LOL! So... I give this guy (Todd? I forgot his name now) the Bible and he is Totally stoked about it! He tells me he doesn't have a good Bible to use and he's been meaning to get one to study with. He was totally taken aback by someone just giving him a Really nice Bible out of the blue, lol. Actually, it was because it was from HIM which is why he was so stoked. The HS workin' yo! That was so funny! And here I thought it was so I could have Another One! LOL. So, yeah, it's funny, when you listen and do what ur supposed to, things totally don't work out like you think there going to, lol! Even in that case, I missed it the first time, but, He got my attention again to make sure it got done, lol! SewEeet!
