I feel kinda odd coming with this statement, but I want to know if it is just me experiencing this or are there others too?

Normally during sincere and attentive prayer, when God gets close, you can feel His Energy rushing through you.
Since the last three days during prayer, this feeling is so much more intense, like being on fire (without being burned).

At one time I was flat on the floor, face down, and within a minute my back seemed to be on fire, from head till toes.

When I pray for someone, usually it takes a while before answers come, but lately it seems as if God is moving faster, like being in a "hurry or rush" (sorry God, I did not mean to say that you would ever run out of time, I know that is impossible!). Instant answers in prayer, then the voice says: next! as if God moves in an increase of energy and speed.

The result of all this is, that I feel invigorated, vibrant, thrilled, wanting to shout from the rooftops that God is King, hungry to do more prayer...

Any reply is welcome, but please do not include mental lock ups.

Oh yes Justice!! I have been experiencing a quickening while in prayer. I can feel my flesh struggle with some things and then immediately I'm called on it too. I feel Him working fast...I see His hand in almost everything. And where my flesh still needs shedding...oh the level of trials have increased 10 fold!!! Our God is a consuming fire!!

I feel like shouting from the rooftops too hon...Oh the quiet moments I get to pray are priceless!!

what do you mean by mental lock ups?

unfortunately i havent experienced that. my praying time has been very slow lately, i honestly dont know why, but its been slow....but thats not to say that God answers slow....he has actually been answering my prayers pretty quickly but i havent felt any of the above stuff that you described yet i hope i will but perhaps my prayer time is slow for a reason?? particulary at this time of having exams and whatever else. the days have also been going slow and i think that too is for a reason, for me to benefit getting study in and the nights seem to go fast and i pray before i go to bed that i will get enough sleep and feel refreshed and be able to shove more info into my head....but lately i have been feeling so out of it and zombiefied that sometimes i dont think He is listening. but there are also times when my prayer time is slow....but i feel he is right next to me praying with me and for me. and at the moment thats enough for me

i dont understand that bit....i know!! its stupid isnt it? i dont understand much because i was never really taught english words much and therefore dont have a good understanding lol. please explain?
