The Pope's Push for a One-World Religion

One of the greatest dangers to Christianity today is the deliberate suppression of biblical truth for the sake of unity. The danger intensifies as we see many highly visible and influential Christians are jumping on the Vatican's ecumenical bandwagon. Instead of warning believers that this false unity is the emergence of the "last days" apostate church, evangelicals are embracing and applauding those who are engineering it. Instead of obeying biblical exhortations and examples to:

* keep the gospel pure, we are tolerating those who preach another gospel (Gal. 1:6-9)
* be sanctified by the truth, they are joining hands with unbelievers (John 17:17).
* hate everything false, they are tolerating doctrines of demons and counterfeit gospels (Psalm 119:104, 128).
* expose and name the agents of compromise, they are enduring them (Eph. 5:11, 2 Tim. 1-4).

THE CHURCH MUST BE WARNED

Amazingly, we seldom hear warnings against apostasy from our pulpits. Rarely are false teachers, who seductively lead people away from the true faith, exposed. These apostates are appearing as ministers of righteousness and are facing very little opposition. They successfully deceive the undiscerning because pastors and church leaders are not speaking out against them. Very few Christians are warning the church of these ferocious wolves dressed in sheep's clothing. The twenty-first century church needs strong leaders like the apostle Paul. He warned the early church, "even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them. So be on your guard! Remember that for three years I never stopped warning each of you night and day with tears" (Acts 20:30-31). Throughout the Scriptures we are exhorted to test every spirit, every teacher and every doctrine because men are so easily deceived.

THE VATICAN'S STRATEGY

It is indeed disturbing to see so many evangelicals unaware of the Vatican's strategy for bringing the world under the dominion of the papacy. The Vatican has made a concerted effort since 1965 to bring their "separated brothers back home to "holy mother the church." In his 1995 encyclical Et Unum Sint, Pope John Paul II said he intends "to promote every suitable initiative...to increase the unity of all Christians until they reach full communion" and "to encourage the efforts of all who work for the cause of unity." The pope's stated desire is "to gather all people and all things into Christ, so as to be for all, an inseparable sacrament of unity... expressed in the common celebration of the Eucharist." During a week of prayer for Christian unity Pope John Paul II said, "I gladly take this opportunity to call the attention of all believers to the ecumenical commitment that marked VC II. The council rightly defined the division among Christians as a scandal. The council Fathers felt the need to beg pardon of God and of their brethren for the sins committed against unity." He asked Catholics "to cultivate an authentic spiritual ecumenism" through the Virgin Mary [not through the Lord Jesus]. The success of the pope's push for unity can be seen by the announcement made last year by the Archbishop of Canterbury. He urged all Christians to recognize the Pope as the supreme authority of a new global church (6/99 CRN News). In a document called The Gift of Authority, he describes the Pope as a "gift to be received by all the churches." It would do us all well to heed the words of C.H. Spurgeon, "Ignorance has been one of the grand agents of Popery ever since her establishment; by it, the eyes of men have been so blinded that they can scarcely discern between good and evil, and follow implicitly any guide even until they fall into the ditch of perdition."

Catholic priest Tom Forrest, who is head of Evangelization 2000 said, "Our job is to make people as richly and as fully Christian as we can make them by bringing them into the Catholic Church. So evangelization is never fully successful, it's only partial until the convert is made a member of Christ's body by being led into the Catholic Church."

The Vatican's ecumenical movement goes beyond the unity of all professing Christians. Their strategy is to bring all religions under the power and influence of the papacy. Pope John Paul II has been traveling the world to build bridges to all non-Christian religions. In a recent speech he said, "Christians and Muslims, we meet one another in faith in the one God...and strive to put into practice...the teaching of our respective holy books. Today, dialogue between our two religions [Roman Catholicism and Islam] is more necessary than ever. There remains a spiritual bond which unites us and which we must strive to recognize and develop." Even Mother Theresa had the ecumenical spirit as noted from her book Servants of Love. She stated, "we went every day to pray in some temple or church. The Archbishop gave us permission to do so. We prayed with the Jews, the Armenians, the Anglicans, the Jains, the Sikhs, the Buddhists, and the Hindus. It was extraordinary. All hearts united in prayer to the one true God."

As we watch the Vatican we can see a seductive strategy for uniting all Christians. They masterfully and deliberately redefine biblical terms to make them more vague, ambiguous and acceptable to both Catholics and Protestants. An example of this is the 1999 Lutheran-Roman Catholic "Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of Justification." In the declaration, Rome uses equivocal and indefinite words to affirm the doctrine of "justification by faith alone" but, at the same time, continues to affirm the anathemas that condemn all who believe this doctrine. We must not be misled. Rome has not changed its position on things that really matter! Instead they take advantage of professing Christians who lack discernment or who are unwilling to contend for "the faith."

TWO KINDS OF UNITY

Tragically, the evangelical community continues to move away from sound doctrine for the cause of unity. This only fuels the fires of ecumenism. When church leaders are willing to suppress doctrinal truth they are allowing the walls that separate the church from the world to come down. Doctrine is what divides believers from unbelievers. While unity and brotherhood sound wonderful to a hostile world full of fighting and killing, the Bible condemns any unity that is not founded in God's truth. False unity is based upon man's ambitions and is independent of God (Gen. 11:1-9). Religious unity is the false unity of the Antichrist (Rev. 17-18) and should be resisted by God's people. Biblical unity is based on apostolic truth (Eph. 4:3,13) and is a work of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 12:13). BibliBiblical unity is not man-made, but man is exhorted to keep it. Biblical unity is impossible apart from the one true and settled faith taught by the Apostles. God's people are called upon to "earnestly contend for the faith once delivered unto the saints" (Jude 3). There is no spiritual unity whatsoever between those who believe the Gospel and those who do not. True Christian unity is modeled when believers are united together in mind, faith and purpose to serve the Lord Jesus Christ, while submitting to the authority of His Word.

CONTENDING FOR THE FAITH

As the ecumenical movement gathers momentum, we must be strong and continue to contend for the faith, no matter what others might do or say. Let us pray for our evangelical leaders to return to the authority of Scripture for every issue of faith. Let us use God's Word to lovingly admonish any church leader who encourages unity with apostates or unbelievers. And finally, let us resist the pressure to participate in any activity or event that will deliberately suppress or compromise biblical truth for the sake of unity. We must return to the infallible, inerrant and inspired Word of God to heed its warnings and obey its commands. The Bible exhorts us to test all teachers and spirits (1 John 4:1,6). We are to expose false teachings and the evil deeds of darkness (Eph. 5:11). Christians are to lovingly confront and rebuke false teachers (Titus 1:9, 13). We are to separate from those who persist in teaching error (Romans 16:17; Titus 3:10). If we ignore these exhortations we may be disqualified for service (2 Timothy 2:20), or worse yet, be identified with the false teachers themselves (2 John 10-11).

Have Bible-believers been in error for centuries in refusing to recognize the Roman Catholic Church as a part of the true Church of Christ? Did the martyrs of old die in vain as they protested the false teachings of the "mother of harlots", and were burned at the stake for their efforts? Were Hugh Latimer, John Knox, and Martin Luther simpletons who failed to recognize the marvelous benefits of ecumenism and who, instead, boldly attacked the multiplied errors of Rome?

Strange things are happening today in Christendom. Many odd "winds of doctrine" are blowing about, threatening to sweep God's people away from their time-honored principles and God-revealed truths.

MYSTERY BABYLON: ONE WORLD RELIGION

The unthinkable is at hand. God has become the final toy of the world religious leaders. His name is no longer important. The only important thing is unity. The only unpardonable sin is to believe that the Bible is the infallible Word and that the only true God is the God of the Bible. To finish the vision that the Lord Jesus Christ gave to John the Revelator, we must see this One World Religion as it helps empower Satan and the Antichrist for their evil part. In the book of Zechariah we see three evil women as they unite to deliver the world system over to the Antichrist. Zechariah described his vision, “Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah (The third woman is in the ephah.) between the earth and the heaven. Then said I to the angel that talked with me, whither do these bear the ephah? And he said unto me, To build it an house in the land of Shinar (Babylon) …” (Zechariah 5:9-11a)


ONE WORLD RELIGIOUS ORDER

The Holy Scripture has perfectly foretold of this One World Religious order that would give credibility and power to the One World Political System. This religious system or its primary leader is called a beast and/or a false prophet. Here is John the Revelator’s first description. “And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.” (Revelation 13:11)

Several functions of this religious order are clearly described. Please note carefully how important these actions are in promoting this New World Political System or New World Order.

1. The One World Religion has the same power and authority as the New World Political Order and is the authority that requires the people to worship the Antichrist.

2. The head of this religious order will resurrect the false Christ after he is slain with a sword. This will be a kind of mimic of the resurrections of Jesus Christ.

3. This religious giant will also have power to animate a statue of the false Christ and cause the statue to speak and pronounce judgment.

4. The New World Religious Order will be the force behind the Mark of the Beast.

Since the Mark of the Beast (666) is a religious mark identifying the person as a worshipper of the new godhood, no person can be redeemed or saved after receiving this mark. They are lost forever. “And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.” (Revelation 19:20)


New World Religion Called "The Great Whore"

The description of this false religion becomes even more graphic as the picture unfolds. It is called a beast or false prophet in the previous explanation, but after receiving power from the Antichrist and great acceptance and worship from the world population this New World Religion becomes a mammoth force. It is now called "the Great Whore" and is seen on top; riding a "scarlet-coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy..." (Revelation 17:3) Let's read carefully John's description.

"Come hither; I will show unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters. With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet-coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration." (Revelation 17:1)


Please note her characteristics and vileness.

1. This religious whore is a great fornicator and is guilty of changing, twisting, and debauching the Word of God. God has pronounced judgment on anyone who adds to or subtracts from the Word of God. "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book." (Revelation 22:18-19)

2. She is rich, but spends her riches on herself. She is proud and worldly and decks herself with costly jewels. She drank from a golden cup but its contents have become vileness and abomination.

3. She is a mother of harlots and all her offspring are as wicked as herself.

4. Her greatest hatred is for the true believers who hold to the Holy Bible and its infallible truths. She is drunk with the blood of murdered saints.

Nothing is as vile as religion that has lost its way and departed from purity and holiness. There have been dark moments in the past when this has happened. Jesus came in a time when the Jewish religion was a botched form of greed and selfishness. He walked into the temple with a whip and drove out the temple-evangelists. The Reformation came after a thousand years of Madonna-worship, indulgences (buying sin-rights from the priest in advance), and distorted communion called the mass. Again, the Holy Spirit drove out the priest and the pope and the gospel was heard by millions. Very soon religion will be more vicious and vile than ever before and multitudes will either worship a false god or will be tortured and slain. The Son of God will arrive on schedule to cleanse this earth of the last religious deception and He will be installed as King, Prophet, and Priest.


The New World Religion Is At Hand

We have passed the day of the old ecumenicalism, churches working together under the name of Jesus Christ as Lord. The new ecumenical movement is at least two steps removed from the old ways. The second step of the ecumenical world included a working relationship between Protestants, Catholics, and Jewish individuals or groups. The new ecumenical movement has embraced all religious expression and is clearly setting sights on a return to the Catholic fold. Read carefully these expressions:

Dr. Robert Schuller: “It’s time for Protestants to go to the shepherd (the pope) and say, ‘What do we have to do to come home?’” (Los Angeles Herald Examiner)

U.S.A. Ministers: “Heads of the American Protestant and Eastern Orthodox churches who were meeting with Pope John Paul II recently hailed their first, broadly representative discussion as a landmark on the road to greater unity … The Rev. Donald Jones, a United Methodist and chairman of the University of South Carolina religious studies department, termed it ‘the most important ecumenical meeting of the century’ … The Rev. Paul A. Crow, Jr., of Indianapolis, ecumenical officer of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), called it a ‘new day in ecumenism’ opening a future in which God ‘is drawing us together.’” (The Montgomery Advertiser)

Anglican Leader: “Anglican leader Archbishop Robert Runcie called Saturday for all Christians to accept the Roman Catholic Pope as a common leader ‘presiding in love.’ ‘For the universal church, I renew the plea,’ he said. Could not all Christians come to reconsider the kind of primacy the bishop of Rome (the pope) exercised within the early church?” (The Dallas Morning News, Associated Press)

Baptist & Catholic Theologians: “Southern Baptists and Roman Catholics, the nation’s two largest denominations, generally have been regarded as doctrinally far apart, but their scholars find they basically agree … The 163-page report is seen as the most full-scale, mutual examination of respective positions of the two traditions. Achieving it was an unprecedented experience for Southern Baptists, commonly averse to ecumenical affairs … The talks, sponsored by the Catholic Bishops’ Committee on Ecumenical and Inter-religious Affairs and the Southern Baptist Department of Interfaith Witness, involved 19 meetings between 1978 and 1988.” (The Bakersfield Californian, Associated Press) Never before have church leaders been so intent on unifying all varying expressions of religion. It’s like a mad dash into the very spirit of Babylonian confusion. The World Council of Churches met this year in Australia. A leader, Nicholas Lossky, was asked by a television journalist, “How close are we to church unity?” His answer was, “Only God can answer that, we must do whatever we can for unity; but only God can decide to produce the event.” The same article that recounted this exchanged stated, “Church unity is listed first among the WCC’s functions and purposes in its constitution.” The same article then mentioned a session on unity, which included Deegalle Mahinda, a Buddhist monk from Sri Lanka.” (Assembly Line, World Council of Churches, Seventh Assembly)


Pagans at World Council of Churches Assembly – 1991

The World Council of Churches chose to open its seventh assembly with a ceremonial welcome from pagans of Australia. Aboriginal witch doctors performed animalistic ceremonies to welcome the Catholics, Presbyterians, Methodists, Disciples of Christ, Evangelical Lutherans, and American Baptists, etc. to this event. The religion of these pagans is animalistic and does not differ at all from African heathenism. Not only did they perform, but also in order to attend, all the worshippers at the assembly opening session were forced to enter the Assembly Hall through a pagan cleansing ritual. Here is the description of that ritual from their publication. “The worship began with an Australian Aboriginal ritual. Participants entered the tent through the smoke of burning branches, a traditional aboriginal cleansing ritual.” (Assembly Line, World Council of Churches, No. 1, p.1) The blood of Jesus Christ was blasphemed as they dared claim cleansing through a pagan and heathen ceremony.

It’s hard to believe such mindless activities could be tolerated by an organization claiming to represent the major Christian churches of the world, much less force all who attend to blaspheme God. You cannot call this action anything but a direct act of pagan worship in defiance of the first commandment. “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” (Exodus 20:3)

An article in the same edition listed above described the religious belief of the Aborigines. Note how carefully the speakers blended paganism with Christianity. “The spirituality of the Aboriginal women keeps them going. ‘The power of the Spirit enables each person to have strength,’ said Agnes Palmer of Alice Springs, ‘This is the power we have through our Dreaming and the power of Jesus, who came not to destroy our culture (pagan) but to fulfill it.’ She used water as an example of the oneness between Aboriginal spirituality and Christian faith. ‘In our spirituality, water is a sign of life, a source of life, just as in Christianity, baptism with water gives new life.’” (Assembly Line, World Council of Churches)

One of America’s leading Pentecostal denominations that was very opposed to the ecumenical movement until the last few years has suddenly become heart and soul ecumenical. The World Council of Churches recently held a dialogue right on the campus of their university. Here are the words of a vice-president of that college defending the new view that now appears to reign, “Dr. Carolyn Dirksen, Vice President for Academic Affairs, suggested that Lee has been working towards developing a faculty and student body that is open to theological tolerance and dialogue. It is fitting, therefore, that this group is here to dialogue in an attempt to bring greater unity to the Church.” (http://leeuniversity.edu/info/news/news-article.asp?newsid=588) When our theology is less than settled and is open to debate, something is seriously wrong.

A number of American churches hold membership in the World Council of Churches. Time could be spent in showing the millions of dollars spent to support guerilla organizations that kill missionaries and wreak havoc in numerous countries.


“New World Religion” Fads

The Islamic Faith: Every religious entity of significance seems to have some form of expectancy toward a New World Religious Order. The Islamic (Moslems or Muslims) faith is promoting a World Constitution that is rooted in the Quran theology. They are probably the fastest growing religion in the world and now claim over one billion adherents. The very spirit of Islam is especially similar to the stated actions and attitude of the Antichrist in Scripture.

Charismatics/Pentecostals: A large portion of the Charismatic/Pentecostal world is going crazy over Kingdom Dominion theology. This is best described as a revived form of post-millennialism, although differing on many major theological points. The bottom line is that we are to become an army of saints, called Joel’s Army, to beat back all forces and to establish the Kingdom of Christ on earth. To those who buy this deception, it will be a world ruled by the church and ready to bring Christ back to earth.

The Catholic Church: The Catholic Church authorities have worked towards and have expected a New World Religious System for many years. They expect to be at the helm to rule this new temporal religious kingdom. Note these two quotes of fifty years ago and 114 years ago, respectively.

“They (Protestants) conveniently forget that they separated from us, not we from them: and that it is for them to return to unity on Catholic terms, not for us to seek union with them or to accept it on their terms … Protestantism is rebellion against the authority of Christ vested in His Church. It neither possesses authority, nor has any desire to submit to authority … Protestantism has really proved to be the ally of paganism … All forms of Protestantism are unjustified. They should not exist.” (America, Catholic periodical)

“We believe in the triumph of the Catholic Church over infidelity, heresy, schism, revolution, and despotism; over Judaism, Mohammedanism, and heathenism. The restoration of the Pope’s temporal kingdom is necessary to this triumph, and therefore we believe it will be restored.” (The Catholic World, Vol. XXV, page 620)

New Agers: No religious entity is expecting or progressing toward a New World Religion more devotedly than the New Agers. While they represent many strains of thought they are bound together as a network of loosely connected organizations. There are a few key spokespersons who certainly speak with some degree of unity. Benjamin Crème is one of those key voices. Note his creation of the “Great Sign” and the description of its meaning. Since the early eighties, he has continued to suggest that the “Christ is Here” and ready to be revealed. His latest claims say that he has appeared on several occasions. His christ is clearly a false prophet.

Religion is never more than a tool to the great political empires. Literal Babylon must not be confused with Mystery Babylon. Literal Babylon is the city where the Antichrist will set up His capitol.

I would like to say first of all that I am not a Cecessionist. I do not believe the Gifts of the Holy Spirit ceased with the New Testament Apostles. They are available to the Church of God today.

For those who do not believe the above, you are still my brother or sister in the Lord if you believe that we are saved by grace alone through faith alone on account of Christ alone. What I am about to tell you is not 'politically correct' and I will be labeled as 'intolerant' or maybe even a 'basher' by some people. I love Catholics, as I do anyone else, but it is the doctrine's of Rome that are deceiving the Catholics.

It started when I was voted in as President of a local chapter of the Full Gospel Businessmen's Fellowship International. We had a dinner meeting once a month and a breakfast meeting once a month. At the dinner meeting we would usually invite a Christian businessman to give his testimony. I also held a Bible study and prayer meeting in my home.
Catholics began to come to my home prayer and Bible study meeting, including a priest. The first thing this priest did was kneel in front of me, as if I could impart something to him. Later I knew that he wanted me to pray that he would receive tongues. Later that night I sat down with him and the scriptures and tried to explain to him the plan of salvation. My words and scriptures seemed to address deaf ears. His "religion" seemed to have a shield around him so the "Gospel" could not be heard.

I became a friend with this Priest and we began to attend other meetings together. More Catholics started coming to all of our meetings and I invited a Catholic professor from Ball State University to come and speak to our fellowship.

It wasn't long until many of these Catholics were seeking and receiving tongues. At the time I just took it for granted that they were already saved and were receiving the Baptism of the Holy Spirit Priests, nuns and others were beginning to receive tongues. I was guilty of believing that tongues was an indication that we shared the same Holy Spirit experience, and the same Jesus. This was due to my ignorance of the 'Gospel according to Rome,' for which I have no excuse.

I was invited to teach a course one night a week for six weeks in a Roman Catholic Parish, St. Monica In East Peoria, Illinois. Priests, nuns and others were present. I taught on the gift of Salvation. At the time I was not prepared for what I was confronting and because all present at the meetings deemed themselves already saved because of the Roman Catholic religion. I don't believe I addressed the subject in the right way. There was a spirit of bondage given to them by Rome and they had a dependence on their infant baptism and other doctrines of Rome which nullify the Gospel.

I was invited to attend Catholic Charismatic prayer meetings at Bradley University as the only non-Catholic present.

One of the Catholic prayer groups were speaking in tongues and receiving unbiblical interpretations of a sinful nature, supposedly coming direct from Mary, 'the mother of Jesus'. Which was further proof that the unsaved were receiving 'tongues' from a spirit other than God. Charismatic Catholics often become more devoted to Mary after receiving a tongue that was not from the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit only glorifies Christ.

MARY BECOMES THE FOCUS

Many Catholic Charismatics have migrated to Mary, whom they see as the Holy Spirit's 'more interesting spouse.' The Catholic Charismatic fellowship at Dayton University reported to the news media that since their 'experience' they have been giving more devotion to Mary. In the statement nothing was said about Christ.

That does not mean that we do not honor Mary at all for her physical part in the birth of

contrary to popular expectations, the sign of tongues that Catholics received brought back to Catholicism those who had fallen away, reviving their idolatrous practices. Some typical comments from Catholic charismatics illustrate this:

--"Our devotion to Mary was filled with sanctification."

--"The sacramental life of the church has become richer in meaning."

--"I came to a better understanding of the eucharist as a sacrifice, and I came back to frequent confession."

--"At that time I discovered a profound devotion to Mary."

Is the spirit that is active in the Roman Church, the Holy Spirit? In speaking of Him, Jesus said, "He will guide you into all truth". This is the particular characteristic of the Holy Spirit. It is characteristic of an evil spirit to lead one into only part of the truth.

Now, one of the most marked effects of the Catholic charismatic movement is to lead its followers into part-truth, part-error as, for example: spontaneous prayer AND the rosary; the adoration of Christ AND the Holy Sacrament; reading the Bible AND the veneration of Mary.

There are several testimonies from people who had been baptised by the "Holy Spirit", one while reciting his rosary, another while singing a hymn at mass, and yet another while on her knees praying to the Holy Virgin. These testimonies are quite sufficient to prove that the spirit who baptised these people is in contradiction with the Scriptures and cannot, in any way, be the Holy Spirit. Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit consists, not of doubting His work, but of attributing such error and such dreadful idolatry to His divine person. To quote Charles Foster, "When the experience of the Holy Spirit is put before doctrine and salvation, seduction is certain..."

A Catholic Priest who was a sought after speaker in the Catholic Charismatic movement and spoke at many FGBMFI chapters, was speaking one night to a large group during one of our FGBMFI conventions. After his talk he gave an altar call to come and be 'born again.' I had an uneasy feeling, and after the service was over, I approached to ask him some questions. I asked him if Jesus was the only way to be saved, and he said very plainly, 'NO.' I asked, 'Do you have to be born again and believe in Jesus Christ to be saved and he said 'NO.' What did he mean by 'born again'?

It was obvious he meant that if you received tongues or any kind of subjective feeling, that this was proof of being born again, having nothing to do with being born from above by the Spirit of God or believing in Christ alone for salvation.

At that point I rebuked him for what he said and he got very angry and began to shake. I reported him to FGBMFI but nothing came of it. There are several kinds of Roman Catholics. The Catholic church is not as united as they would like everyone to believe. There is the liberal that believes God is the Father of all and no-one is lost and the one that believes that if you do good works and are baptised you will be saved and the traditional pre-Vatican 2 Catholic that believes that only through the Roman Catholic church can you be saved. Then there are all those in between.

An article published by the Dallas Morning News on Saturday March 20th, 1999 of an ecumenical meeting held in Dallas, Thanksgiving World Assembly, shows the other side.

What is important about this meeting is that it was attended by a Nigerian Cardinal of the Roman Catholic religion named Francis Arinze.

Many people think that Arinze, the Pope’s Deputy for Outreach, is heir apparent to John Paul II. But even if he is not, his comments are chilling and revealing.

An illustration of Roman Catholic ecumenism, which ices out the Gospel and makes mockery of the ministry of Jesus Christ, is found in Arinze’s answer to the question, "Can you still get to heaven without accepting Jesus?"His answer, not surprising, but chilling and ominous, is: "Expressly, yes!"

In spite of the mistakes of being too ecumenical with those that do not believe the Gospel, the FGBMFI has been and is being used of God, and many have been saved through it's efforts, but I and others, have been guilty of an ecumenical spirit and unity at any cost. We have given a false hope of security to those who needed the truth of salvation.

Catholics no longer a mission field?

Some Evangelicals are now saying that Roman Catholics are no longer considered to be a mission field since they are 'Christians', as evidenced in the document ECT,(Evangelicals and Catholics together).

What a sad commentary to our brothers and sisters in Latin countries, and others who have laid down their lives for the Gospel, and have seen millions of Roman Catholics believe the Gospel. The future of evangelism hangs in the balance.

In my eight years of working with Charismatic Catholics, I have come to the following conclusions.

I had been naive and had neglected to really look into the doctrine of the Roman Catholic Church to see what they really believed about the doctrine of Salvation by Grace alone through faith alone on account of Christ alone. I took it for granted that they believed the Gospel of the Bible. I had not prepared and made serious mistakes. After study I found that historically, and conversely, the Roman Catholic Church teaches as dogma, that justification is conferred through her sacraments, and that it consists of inner righteousness whereby a man, it is stated, becomes 'just within himself.' The Church of Rome condemns the Biblical doctrine of justification by faith alone. (Council of Trent)

Any non-Catholic Church that held the doctrines of the Roman Catholic Church would be considered a 'Cult' by many of the same people who are seeking unity with the Catholics.

I have discovered that most Protestants do not know what the Gospel is 'according to Rome'! And are easy prey for Roman Catholic apologists because they do not know how to defend sola scriptura or because of their extreme arminism. Do we once again need a reformation in the 'Protestant'Evangelical Churches?

It was the standard practice of the FGBMFI to tell Roman Catholics to stay in the Catholic Church so that they could witness to others and I find this to be true also in many protestant/Pentecostal churchs. I believe this was a very dangerous attitude in that I found those who stayed eventually were lost to the Roman Church once again for various reasons or because they had not been truly born again. I believe most of the ones who had trusted in Christ alone for salvation came out of the Roman Catholic Church.

You cannot stay in a Church, without consequences, that denies we are saved by what Christ did outside of us, and not what we can do to become worthy inside.

"Solo Christo"

"Solo Christo" was one of the cries of the Protestant Reformation. Translated from the Latin, it means "Christ Alone."

In these times, the growing tendency to emphasize feelings and experiences at the expense of sound doctrine is presenting the world with a 'feel-good' religious community, the boundaries of which grow more ephemeral with every new ecumenical pronouncement. This is especially true among Roman Catholics and some Evangelical and some Charismatic Christians. I want to emphasize that not all Evangelicals and Pentecostals are being deceived but some are.

And the lines become more blurred, so that now in some ecumenical meetings, New Agers, Universalists, Roman Catholic as well as "some" true born again Christians such as Evangelicals and Pentecostals are coming together to celebrate their oneness in a quote, 'Common Experience.' This is the great deception.

Although speaking in tongues can be valid experience from God it is not always of the Holy Spirit. It can be counterfeited. Satan has counterfeits of every Gift of God. You can receive an experience without being saved, and when this happens it leads to many problems. The major problem is a false sense of security that you are saved, and leads you further away from the true Gospel and many times into the occult. It has been documented that most spiritulists are former Catholics.

If we accept everybody as brothers and sisters because they speak in tongues, then we are heading down a slippery slope, Catholic or other wise.
(Spiritual experience ALONE can never be the basis for unity. Unity must be based on sound DOCTRINE.

Some may have a legitimate question about laying hands on unbelievers. some bitterly regret having prayed for and laid hands on these Catholics who have, according to some Pentecostal testimony, received an alien spirit as a result. Does this mean that "we" transmited an evil spirit from us to them? NO-in our ignorance God would not alow us to transmit the Holy Spirit to a unregenerated person but we have been guilty of helping that person open up to an unclean spirit.

9-11 Attacks -- Vehicle for One World Religion?

A report says the September 11 terrorist attacks could prove to be a major catalyst towards the creation of a one world religion.

The conservative publication World reported this month that one of the greatest ironies in the wake of the attacks is that at the very time when Christians are targets of an Islamic jihad, "all of a sudden Muslims are getting so much good press." Documentaries and new stories on the alleged good things about Islam fill the media, and schools are inviting Muslims to talk about their religion.

In addition, Muslim clerics are joining Christian leaders at multi-faith prayer meetings. Even President Bush has put Islam and Christianity in the same category, calling them both "peaceful" religions. We are told the enemy is not Islam, but intolerance. Fundamentalist Christians are linked with Taliban leaders as being the real problem.

According to the World article, there is a growing body of belief that the solution to religious intolerance is to create a world religion. No doubt, the cornerstone of that religion will be that any doctrine which divides -- such as salvation through faith in Jesus Christ -- will not be tolerated.

Christian, Muslim and Jewish leaders are meeting in Brussels for the first major attempt since September 11 to try to curb conflicts fought in the name of religion.

President George W. Bush sent a message to the gathering "The Peace of God in the World -- Towards Peaceful Co-Existence and Collaboration between Monotheistic Religions."

Religious leaders in Brussels include Cardinal Kasper, President of the Pontifical Council for the Promotion of Christian Unity, Rev. Konrad Raiser, Secretary General of the World Council of Churches, Sheikh Ahmed Kuftaro, Grand Mufti of Syria, and France's Chief Rabbi Rene-Samuel Sirat.

More than 80 religious representatives are at the conference chaired by the head of the Orthodox religions, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, and Romano Prodi, President of the European Commission.

Their stated aim is to forge new means to ensure that "no individual or organisation succeeds ever again to use religion to instigate violence and terrorism."

WORSHIP OF THE "QUEEN OF HEAVEN" WOULD PROVIDE A "COMMON GROUND" TO UNITE NATIONS AND RELIGIONS OF THE WORLD...
In an attempt to bring peace to mankind.

Many nations in Old Europe have been consecrated to Mary: the Ukrainian and Hungarian peoples shortly after 1000ad, and England as Mary’s "Dowry" in 1381. In the 1600s, Austria, France, Poland, Spain and Portugal and their colonies were dedicated to Mary.

In 1996, Pope John Paul II designated the shrine of Our Lady of Europe (set up in Gibraltar in 1309 by King Ferdinand IV of Spain) as a "potent symbol" for the unification of Europe and "a place where, under the patronage of Mary, the human family will be drawn ever more closely into fraternal unity and peaceful coexistence." This shrine is not far from a cave on Gibraltar where Phoenician seafarers set up a shrine to Astarte, the Queen of Heaven, seven centuries before Christ.

But the New Europe is also awash with Marian symbolism. The flag of the European Union—a ring of 12 gold stars on blue background—is drawn from pictures of the Madonna with 12 stars in halo around her head. In the cathedral at Strasbourg, France (site of the European Parliament), a stained glass window—designated the "window of Europe"—depicts the Madonna and child with a halo of 12 stars and crescent moons along the edges. May 5 has been designated "Europe Day"—it is also the feast day of Our Lady of Europe in Gibraltar.

Catholic leaders recognize the ecumenical potential of a mother goddess. Nearly 40 years ago, Bishop Fulton J. Sheen predicted the conversion of Islam to Christianity "through summoning of the Moslems to a veneration of the Mother of God" . Sheen pointed out that Mohammed had a daughter named Fatima, that the Blessed Virgin appeared in the Portuguese village of Fatima and that, when a statue of Our Lady of Fatima is displayed in Muslim countries, thousands turn out to venerate her image. A shrine to Our Lady of Fatima is also being constructed in Russia—a stronghold of the Orthodox Church and home of a large Muslim population—to facilitate the return of many Russians to the "true" faith.

The female Madonna also appeals to feminists who reject the patriarchal flavor of traditional Christianity, and to New Agers who worship an "Earth Mother." The increasingly frequent reports of apparitions of one calling herself the "Lady of All Nations," and the growing Catholic emphasis on Mary as the "Queen of Heaven" fit well with an effort to pull the religions of the world together.

The worship of the Madonna is a significant thread that connects the ancient worship of Semiramis in Babylon, and the mother goddesses of Egypt, Greece and Rome, to the modern veneration of the Virgin Mary. It is an unbiblical practice that is actually condemned in Scripture. Worship of the mother goddess dominated the ancient world and played a key role in attracting pagans to the early church. The Bible reveals that devotion to the "Blessed Virgin," the "Lady of All Nations," the "Queen of Heaven" and the "Queen of the Universe" will play a significant role in key events that will fulfill end-time prophecies. Buddhist ritual performed at Catholic cathedral compound

The performance of a Buddhist dance ritual in the heart of the Korean Catholic Church added a new dimension to inter-religious understanding and dialogue between the two communities.

Pyeonghwa Broadcasting Corporation (PBC), the cable TV station run by Seoul Archdiocese, invited Buddhists to perform the Yeongsanjae ritual at Coste Hall in the Myongdong Cathedral compound on April 19. The performance was part of a mostly musical program for an audience of about 200 Buddhists and Catholics.

It marked the first time that Myongdong Cathedral has held such a Buddhist ritual in its compound, according to the cathedral office. Program producer Michael Sung Suk-ho told UCA News the Yeongsanjae was arranged for the occasion of Vesak, the holiday commemorating Buddha's birth. This year Korean Buddhists will celebrate Vesak on May 5.

"Buddhists and Catholics have exchanged congratulatory messages on the occasions of Vesak, Easter and Christmas in recent years. I hope this will be another chance to acknowledge and understand other religions," Sung said. According to the producer, the idea of presenting the Buddhist ritual drew good support from senior PBC staff. The cable station plans to broadcast the performance April 30-May 3.

Father John Choi Ho-young, church music professor at Catholic University of Korea, underlined the significant of the performance at Myongdong Cathedral as an interreligious exchange.

"Korean Buddhism has a long history and Yeongsanjae encapsulates Buddhist culture. By experiencing the Buddhist ritual, Catholics can understand more about not only Buddhism but Korean culture," the priest told UCA News.

He added his hope that the church would have the chance to reciprocate. "It would be great if we could perform Gregorian chant at a Buddhist concert", he said. Father Choi studied organ music and Gregorian chant in Germany.

Venerable Unbong, who performed at the cathedral, told UCA News he was very pleased to show Buddhist culture to Catholics. The opportunity arose "thanks to the Catholic Church's open-mindedness," he said.

"It should not be a one-time event," continued the monk, who is secretary of Bongwonsa Temple. "I hope this kind of event will continue and be held regularly to deepen understanding of each other. I'll urge the Buddhist cable TV to invite a Catholic team in return."

Venerable Myoungkyu, a Buddhist nun also of Bongwonsa Temple, also praised the Catholic Church for its effort at interreligious dialogue.

A lay Buddhist devotee from the temple, Hwang Jeong-sook, told UCA News at the cathedral event: "It's good to see harmony among religions. Witnessing the effort for interreligious peace, I feel real peace in my mind."

A Catholic in the audience, Agapis Woo Nam-hee, admitted she is not familiar with Buddhist culture but said watching the performance was "meaningful."

CARDINAL IVAN IDAS BURNS INCENSE TO A HINDU DEITY

There is news about the many vocations to the priesthood in India. What they don’t say is what these priests are being taught and trained. In the name of Vatican II inculturation, they are mixing Catholic and pagan customs.

It is a whole new kind of evangelization, which results in half-Hindu, half-Catholic liturgies and customs. It is supported by the Bishops and the Vatican. Everything is to bring together the religions, not a conversion to the Catholic Faith and rejection of the pagan cult.

Mumbai\Bhopal/Ranchi, Dec 25 (ANI): People from all communities of the country today celebrated Christmas with full fervour and gaiety.

Special midnight mass, carol singing and lots of enthusiasm were the order of the day as people from all communities celebrated the festival.

Churches in Mumbai, Jharkhand and various other states were decked up in view of Christmas celebrations.

“It brings us a lot of peace, lot of happiness and lot of love. It’s not only about enjoying and celebrating; it’s sharing love with one another. That’s it. This is what I feel Christmas is. And as father said just now it’s the language of love,” said Sneha, a devotee from Mumbai. Christmas fervors swept Madhya Pradesh as well. Akhind Khode from Bhopal has a stamp collection based on Christmas. “I don’t think that any Christian in Madhya Pradesh has such a big collection of stamps. As far as my knowledge goes, nobody else has such a huge collection of Christmas stamps,” Though the celebrations were in full swing, Cardinal Telesphore. P. Toppo from Jharkhand sounded a word of caution expressing deep concern over the increasing violence and cruelty among people. RELIGIONS COME TOGETHER IN INTERFAITH SERVICE AT PASSOVER

Worshipers gather Sunday at Muslim Sufi Minister Jamal Rahman's Interfaith Community Church during an interfaith service. The service included members of Bet Alef Meditative Synagogue and the University Congregational United Church of Christ. Christians and Muslims later celebrated Passover with members of the synagogue.

True believers, worshipers of the God of the Bible, will not compromise with the world's apostate religions for the sake of unity. We will not participate in, or be found in association with those who strive for a one world religion.

We should detest apostate religions which worship idols, groves, and images in place of, or along side, the true God just as Josiah, king of Judah, did.

In the Old Testament the apostasy into which the Israelites repeatedly fell was was that of a "mixture". Usually, they did not totally reject the worship of the true God, but mixed heathen rites with it. This was the case even when they worshiped the golden calf (Exodus 32). We realized that such worship was false, heathenistic, and an abomination in the sight of the Lord, yet the point is, they claimed it was a "feast unto the Lord" (v.5)-- a feast to Yahweh, the true God...yet they practice rites in which they made themselves naked (v.25) which were perhaps similar to those which were carried out by naked Babylonian priests.

During the forty years in the wilderness, the Israelites carried the tabernacle of God. However, some of them were not content with this, so they "added" something. They made unto themselves a Babylonian tabernacle that was carried also!

"But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images, the star of your god, which ye made to yourselves." Amos 5:26

"And they made a calf in those days, and offered sacrifice unto the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their own hands. Because of this mixture, their songs of worship, sacrifices, and offerings were rejected by God. At another period, the Israelites performed secret rites, built high places, used divination, caused their children to pass through the fire, and worshiped the sun, moon and stars:

"And the children of Israel did secretly [those] things that [were] not right against the LORD their God, and they built them high places in all their cities, from the tower of the watchmen to the fenced city. And they set them up images and groves in every high hill, and under every green tree: And there they burnt incense in all the high places, as [did] the heathen whom the LORD carried away before them; and wrought wicked things to provoke the LORD to anger: For they served idols, whereof the LORD had said unto them, Ye shall not do this thing." -2Kings 17:9-12

As a result they were driven from their land.

Worship of false gods, idols, and images, alone or blended with worship of the True God, always brings judgment from God. He is not pleased with worship that is a "mixture". As Samuel preached, "If you do return unto the Lord with all your hearts, the put away the strange gods and Astaroth (pagan mother worship) from among you, and prepare your hearts unto the Lord, and serve Him only: and He will deliver you." (1 Sam 7:3)

Some have been corrupted "from the simplicity that is in Christ" because of pagan influence:

For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or [if] ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with [him]." -2Corinthians 11:3-4

And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? Even today, paganism is disguised as Christianity and has deceived millions. No matter how paganism is dressed up on the outside, paganism is deadly. True worship must be "in spirit and in truth" (John 4:24)--- not pagan error. In Brazil, Aparecida is the largest cathedral in the world next to St. Peters in Rome. It is dedicated to a small idol of a "Black Virgin" -- pulled from a nearby lake in a fishing net -- that now performs "miracles." The Pope came to honor this idol in 1991. At the mass, the priest led the people in prayers and songs to the idol, asking it for salvation and dedicating their lives to it. On January 9-10, 1993, the Pope again hosted the Dalai Lama of Tibetan Buddhism and representatives of many other false and ungodly religions. UNITY: A ONE WORLD RELIGION

In light of the ties between nearly all Christian "evangelicals" with Rev. Moon, the CIA, the Council for Foreign Relations, the Trilateral commission, the Bush family and Bush Sr’s "New World Order", is it any wonder that after the September 11th tragedy, Billy Graham prayed in the name of God, AND ALLAH, as dignitaries from many faiths were gathered before him? This prayer was broadcast the world over. His call was for religious cooperation and ’unity of all faiths,’ the trump of Rev. Moon.

Franklin Graham’s (son of world renowned evangelist Rev. Billy Graham, and heir to the very lucrative and influential Billy Graham Evangelistic Ministries) answer to a question by NBC’s Tom Brokaw:

..."it’s very important that all the faiths, all the denominations are coming together, cooperating together, working together; it is a wonderful testimony to the spirit of America, and the dedication of the American people."

Moon also owns the Washington Times, THE conservative voice of the nation. Though this establishment should have gone under several years ago, Moon pours multi-millions of dollars annually into this paper. He also owns the publication "Insight". He indeed owns many businesses and operates in media of several nations worldwide.

In Central America He is the owner of the "Tiempos del Mundo" (Times of the World), another leading news publication, making him the conservative voice there as well. In the early 1980s, Moon was shooting for the acclaim of all of Central and South America. He met political opposition from Carlos Menem, Argentina's President.

His rescue came in the form of one man. That man was George Bush Sr. former director of the CIA, former Vice President, and former President of the United States of America.

Bush was the principal speaker at the Sheraton Hotel at a Moon sponsored event, with 800 to 900 guests in attendance giving this manipulative operative remarkable credibility overnight. Bush declared enthusiastically:

"...The editors of The Washington Times tell me that never once has the man with the vision interfered with the running of the paper, a paper that in my view brings sanity to Washington, D.C. I am convinced that Tiempos del Mundo is going to do the same thing."

Both George and Barbara Bush made several speeches in Asia in 1995. In Tokyo, Japan during one Moon rallying function, over 50,000 pro-Moon advocates were addressed by the two. This was sponsored by the Womens Federation for World peace.

It has also been speculated that Moon and Bush were seeking joint business ventures in South America. An interesting fact is that despite over 30 years of allegations (from some U.S. government officials seemingly out of the loop) of Moons connections with the Korean CIA (and as we can now see the American counterpart as well) no steps have been taken to deport him, let alone prosecute him.

But, the story gets even stranger, when we learn that the "Reverend" Moon was recruited by the Korean Central Intelligence Agency [KCIA]! Before we get into his influence in the American religious establishment, let us quickly review some of Moon's beliefs, noting that Dr. Burns called his Unification Church a "cult" that is steeped into the occult. We should not be surprised to hear this latter revelation, for Moon could be a top-level Illuminist only if he is steeped into the occult. Let us now examine his key beliefs and teachings.

* Rev. Sun Moon claims Jesus Christ "failed" in his ministry and that he, Moon, is the Messiah! [Burns, p. 208]

* Many allegations have been leveled at Moon's many organizations and the Unification Church, accusing them of clever mind manipulation, Mind Control ["The Unholy Alliance: Christianity & The NWO", Part 1, Rense.com, 2-25-02]. Once again, we should not be surprised, for the Illuminati has been deeply immersed in occult mind control for centuries, bringing this art form to a new, higher level at this End of the Age.

URGING THEIR FOLLOWERS TO FOLLOW ANTICHRIST

At this point, please allow me to explain the "religious" plan once Antichrist actually appears on the earth. Shortly after his appearance, key religious leaders all across the globe are primed to step forward to the mass media microphones to deliver a message to their respective followers: this Christ is the Messiah we have been awaiting! Follow Him!!

Of course, this "Christ" will be none other than the Biblical Antichrist!

Thus, Buddhists, Mohammedans, Hindus , and Christians will be told that this "Christ" is their Messiah and they are to follow him, giving him their allegiance and worship. Which Christian leaders will step forward, urging their followers to follow this Man of Sin and give him their allegiance? Before you can entertain this question, you have to understand that Rev. Moon has been charged with "uniting the world through religious forces", i.e., play a huge role in the religious deception once Antichrist does arise. As we proceed through this article, you will see that Moon has evidently zeroed in on the Christian Right-wing as his major field of endeavor.

But, first, he must get control of the religious forces of the Christian Right-Wing! Let us "follow the money and influence trail"! Pictured below are certain Evangelical Christian leaders, many of whom are "Right-Wing" who have either accepted serious money from a Moon front organization, or have been unduly influenced by him. As you can imagine, once a Christian leader accepts money from a Moon organization, that person is beholden to the Rev. Moon. Remember the general principle: the Devil always gets his due!

Jerry Falwell -- readily admits that he accepted 2.5 million dollars from Moon in 1994 in order to bail out his Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. This was funneled through a Moon organization known as the 'Womens Federation for World Peace' which has been chaired by Beverly LaHaye, Wife of Timothy LaHaye, who is the popular co-author of the "Left Behind" Christian fictional book series and a well known evangelical Christian. The Womens Federation for World Peace paid 3.5 million to the Christian Heritage Foundation, which in turn bought Falwell's $73 million debt, and then frankly wrote it off. The Heritage Foundation then seems to have paid themselves a fee of one million dollars for their trouble.

Since that time Falwell has spoken at many of Moons functions, embracing the cult-leader with unabashed reverence and friendship. Even writings from Moons' Church confirm Falwells comradeship with 'the new messiah' and his cult. Moon has even been a guest speaker in mainline denominational Churches in the past few years. Falwell further praised Rev. Moon calling him, "An unsung hero to the cause of freedom, who is to be commended for his determination and courage and endurance in support of his beliefs."["Unholy Alliances", rense.com, Part 1]

According to official court records of a lawsuit that was filed in Bedford County Circuit Court (West Virginia), it was alleged that Falwell and an associate flew to South Korea, January 9, 1994 to meet with Unification Church officials. This trip came shortly before Falwell was awarded the Moon money. Falwell stated openly, "If the American Atheists Society or Saddam Hussein himself ever sent an unrestricted gift to any of my ministries, be assured I will operate on Billy Sunday's philosophy: The Devil's had it long enough, and quickly cash the check." Timothy La Haye - "Well-known author, former pastor and educator Tim LaHaye was named by a Wheaton College institute as the most influential leader in the evangelical Christian movement. The institute named LaHaye the most influential evangelical leader in the United States of the last quarter century. He and his wife, Beverly, the leader of Concerned Women for America, have been a driving force in the organizational efforts of evangelicals, including the Moral Majority and the respected political think tank Council for National Policy. Other contenders for the distinction included renowned evangelist Billy Graham, Campus Crusade for Christ's Bill Bright and Focus on the Family's James Dobson." "Most famous for his 'Left Behind' series of books and movies. Tim LaHaye's relationship with Moon goes back at least 17 years. In 1985 as was reported earlier, LaHaye was addressing several hundred evangelical Christians, the flock he claims to guard and feed ... He exhorted that they go willingly to jail with the Rev. Moon in demonstration to his imprisonment over tax fraud." ["Unholy Alliance", Part I]

Moon's Prison Time Because of Tax Fraud Seen As "Unifying Christianity"

Shockingly, this truth is borne out by none other than Moon's "right hand man", Bo Hi Pak, writing about Moon's jail time and his visits from La Haye.

"Father has suffered on many other occasions ... even though Father suffered in Korea and North Korea, that was not the cosmic age for universal salvation. That was not the worldwide level. Today here in the United States, which is the microcosm of the world, whatever Father does has a universal impact ... What Father has accomplished at Danbury is the restoration of Christianity and the unification of Christianity. Father brought Christianity into one with the Unification Church. Christians began to understand Father and accept Father and Father's dispensation.

Bo Hi Pak continues:

"One good example is Dr. Tim LaHaye's visit to Danbury ... During the drive, Dr. LaHaye said, 'It is incredible what our government did to Reverend Moon, to confine Reverend Moon in this kind of place.' When we got to Danbury, he met Father, who was wearing humble prison clothes. He held Father's hands and the first words Dr. LaHaye spoke were, 'Reverend Moon, I apologize on behalf of my government.' Mother saw that Dr. LaHaye's eyes were red and he was crying. What a beautiful union, a beautiful union of brothers, like Esau and Jacob. Father and Dr. LaHaye were embracing." Tim La Haye then appealed to his followers to "go willingly to jail with the Rev. Moon in demonstration to his imprisonment over tax fraud." ["Unholy Alliance", Part I, Ibid.] However, did you notice that LaHaye willingly participated with this pagan, Illuminist false religious leader to complete "the restoration of Christianity and the unification of Christianity" and to achieve "a beautiful union, a beautiful union of brothers, like Esau and Jacob"? [Ibid.]

No true Christian leader would ever, ever, ever join with a pagan occultist like this, allowing himself to be declared his "brother"! The Bible firmly forbids this kind of union with an unbeliever! Listen once again:

"If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds." [2 John 1:10-11]

AND:

"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers [do not make mismated alliances with them or come under a different yoke with them, inconsistent with your faith]. For what partnership have right living and right standing with God with iniquity and lawlessness? Or how can light have fellowship with darkness?" [2 Corinthians 6:14; Parallel Bible, KJV/Amplified Bible Commentary]

This action clearly labels Tim La Haye as a Christian Tare, a counterfeit Christian. Yet, LaHaye is so popular and so revered, he is named the most influential of all Evangelistic leaders! Further, untold millions have gobbled up his "Left Behind" series of books and movies, believing them to be a genuine explanation of the Rapture of the Christian Church. From the beginning of the "Left Behind" series, I felt a spiritual prohibition against reading the books; further, I noticed that "Left Behind" was being aggressively promoted by noted Illuminist Mass Media outlets: TV, Radio, Magazines, and Bookstores. A huge red flag immediately went up in my mind. Remember, I did not know of the Moon - La Haye connection until just a year ago, well after the series initially went on the market.

La Haye also formed the Council For National Policy (CNP) in 1981. There are "definite ties between this 'Christian' organization and the Rev. Moon's openly anti-Christ organizations ... this group is also associated heavily with the controversial and cultic Church of Scientology ..." ["Unholy Alliance", Part I] David Wegener, of Hope For America, emphatically states that CNP is a "Christian equivalent to the Illuminist Council on Foreign Relations"! Thus, in keeping with the Dialectic Process, the Illuminati has established two special groups to further their plans: the CFR and the CNP -- Thesis and Antithesis, Yin-Yang! "In 1983, American Coalition for Traditional Values (ACTV) began with Tim LaHaye, Falwell, Robertson, Bakker, Robison and Humbard. The money that started it came from the Moonies. Gary Bauer -- "Bauer's Family Research Council ... has benefited as well from Rev. Moon organizations and money. This all under the umbrella of social change and 'Christian family values' in America." Bauer is reported as part of a group of Christian leaders who have received up to $150,000 in Moon money! Many Christians take at face value everything that the Family Research Council says, forgetting the intelligence maxim that a disinformation agent will provide 75-90% good solid information. Thus, you will find the Gospel presented on FRC as well as many genuine Christian values. However, the Apostle Paul warned that it just takes a "little leaven" -- false teaching -- to corrupt the whole lump of dough, just as it takes only a tiny bit of arsenic in a whole lot of water to kill you!

Bill Bright -- Founder and head of the international evangelical association, 'Campus Crusades for Christ', is also a member of the CNP. Remember the above quote which states that Bill Bright was the point man to get Rev. Moon into the United States, at the behest of the KCIA!

This association may also explain Bill Bright's dramatic excursion into apostasy! Listen to Dr. Burns explain:

"Jesse Jackson is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations as well as a 33° Mason ... In spite of Jackson's obviously blasphemous remarks about Jesus Christ, the 'Jesus Film Project', which is a ministry of Bill Bright's Campus Crusade, had a 'Millennial Tribute To Jesus', and used celebrities to record a 'tribute to Jesus'. Who were some of these celebrities? Jesse Jackson, Jimmy Carter -- Illuminist former President -- Gerald Ford (Freemason and Bilderberger member), Andrew Young, Pope John Paul II and Billy Graham" [Burns, op. cit., p. 85]

These are some of the Campus Crusade For Christ's International Committee of Reference: "Roy Rogers, 33° Mason (now deceased), Johnny Cash, Jay Gary, Jesse Helms, 33° Mason, Norman Vincent Peale, 33° Mason ((now deceased), Robert Schuller, 33° Mason, Michael W. Bill Bright was also the 1996 recipient of the Illuminist Templeton Prize, making him One Million Dollars richer. The Templeton committee is "made up of leaders from the world's five major religions ('Christianity', Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam and Judaism)". They meet annually meet to decide the recipient of the One Million dollar prize. Templeton himself has been described as a "New Age pantheist/science-of-mind Universalist/investment guru." Templeton also said that the Bible 'does not accurately record the words of Christ' and says he is trying to 'develop a body of knowledge of God that doesn't rely on ancient revelations of Scripture such as the Bible!" Since the 9/11 attacks, President Bush has led the way in encouraging Ecumenism, defined as accepting all faiths as equally legitimate. Bill Bright has no trouble with this approach as he "can also work with people who DO NOT call Jesus 'Lord'. For example, he was at an interfaith meeting with Muslims and Jewish Rabbis. In his prayer, he referred to the 'God of OUR fathers'." [Burns, op. cit., p. 490; Emphasis was in the original]

But, we should not be surprised, for had we been aware of the "Gospel" as presented by Bright's workers over the years, we would have known the truth. "A former Campus Crusade worker wrote: 'One reason why the Campus Crusade message is so popular is that Campus Crusaders are taught either by design or by default not to use Christian jargon like 'witness', 'repent', 'converted', 'blood', 'hell', 'sin', 'save', 'holiness', and 'apostasy'." Now, in addition to his contacts with Rev. Sun Moon, Bright is discovered to be preaching "another Gospel"! The Apostle Paul cursed such a person to Hell for preaching "another Gospel". Listen:

Paul then repeats his curse in verse 9, condemning people to Hell who teach "another Gospel".

Perhaps Bill Bright should also carefully contemplate the warnings of God: "Cursed be he that doeth the work of the Lord deceitfully" [Jeremiah 48:10]

Paul Crouch -- Founder and Chairman of Trinity Broadcasting Network, one of the largest tele-evangelical corporations. Crouch is a constant source of unbiblical doctrines, so many we just do not have the time nor space here to list them all; however, the video by David Wegener, "Hope For America", is an excellent source of film clips of Paul and Jan Crouch, so that you may see and hear them spout the most hideous unscriptural doctrines!

As noted below, Paul Crouch has served on the Council For Religious Freedom, established for the express purpose of raising funds for the legal defense of Rev. Moon when he was serving time in prison for tax evasion.

Dr. James Dobson, Focus On The Family -- "Dr. Dobson is pediatrician, author and publisher, head of Focus On The Family, a Christ-centric organization and magazine." [Unholy Alliance. Ibid.] If you have not read Dr. Burns' excellent expose' entitled, "Focus On The Family -- Little Known Facts" we encourage you to get it so you can read for yourself all the New Age, unbiblical, and heretical statements that Dobson and/or his guests have uttered over the years.

We have already reported, above, on the Moon-sponsored Council For National Policy (CNP), a group that is also tied into the Church of Scientology. Dr. James Dobson has been a member of this CNP. Congressman Woody Jenkins (Newsweek,1981) gushed, "I predict that one day before the end of this century the Council [for National Policy] will be so influential that no President, regardless of party or philosophy, will be able to ignore us or our concerns or shut us out of the highest levels of government."

In October, 1999 George W. Bush addressed the CNP."

Remember, the CNP is the "Christian equivalent to the Council on Foreign Relations". Thus, it is a very serious matter, indeed, for a Christian leader to be a part of this group. "Birds of a feather flock together", intones the old American folk saying. The Bible instructs us:

"If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds." [2 John 1:10-11]

Therefore, if any Christian leader, including James Dobson, is a member of an Illuminist-based council, he or she is guilty of being a "partaker of his evil deeds".

Rev. Billy Graham -- Dr. Cathy Burns wrote her 788-page book, "Billy Graham and His Friends", to illustrate Dr. Graham's exceedingly numerous ties to the Illuminati. To single out the most infamous ties would be a most daunting task; however, Dr. Burns feels that Billy Graham was selected by the Illuminati as far back as 1942 to become the foremost "holy man" in America!
