1. Every living thing is made of energy. What is energy and where did it come from?
Science can't tell us.

2. Natural selection and "survival of the fittest" can only work on LIVING THINGS. But it cannot create life. Only a living cell can create/reproduce a living cell.
How did the first cell get life?
Science fails to tell us.
Evolutionists are attempting to construct an edifice in the air without any foundation.

Um no, every living thing is made of "stuff." That is, matter. Such as cells.

Energy isn't a physical object.


The cell itself is a living thing. It doesn't "get" life - it already is life. I think the real question is how did the cell come to exist.


The fact that science doesn't have all the answers doesn't conclude that religion is the answer.

If we don't know something, we simply can't make assumptions. That's illogical. Science is full of mysteries.

Well I don't see the non-scientist lining the pages with any discussion. Dennis' opening remarks show no research in science...rather he posits from total ignorance...how quaint.

the simplest living cell that we know of has:
1 a cell wall, to contain the innards
2 a nucleus
3 DNA
4 about 1000 chemical processes,,,,,,,some are simultaneous and interdependent



somehow , the first living cell got life from somewhere,,,,,,,,,where did it come from?...........science is silent,,,,,,,,,the evolutionists are stonewalling

the SECOND LAW OF THERMODYNAMICS dictates that the universe is winding down like a clock, and will go dead and still, some day........if the universe is Eternal, the universe should be dead now, since the "beginning" is infinite years ago.............so, we kniow that the universe is not Eternal.............and the lying evolutionists deny this fact.

Again, you're being ignorant. A cell itself is a living thing. It already is alive.

As I said, I think the real question is how the cell came to be.


All I have to do is trust you and take your word for it.


The simplest living cell is also not DNA. So why did it take millions of years to evolve - as they claim? Or is millions of years too short for something "complicated" to develope?


Well that's because evolution is about how 1 species evolves into another - not on "the invention of the 1st living cell."

I am hoping there is a serious answer expected. I am not defending the Bible or evolution.

What is energy?

That was your question. Aside from the derisive comments as contentious please allow me to ignore them

In Beginning God created the heaven and earth.

That is a clue.

Beginning is a title for the Second Person of the Trinity. We know Him as Jesus.

The simple and most accurate answer is energy came from Jesus and in turn from the Father.

Actually science is getting close. An astrophysicist was on Michael Medved some time ago and came to the same conclusion I had some time before on "details."

That energy is light. Light is what began.

Jesus is the Event. We measure things such as time. We know to the best of our ability that down to the -10⁴³ seconds what happened after Creation happened. Scientists call it the Big Bang.

How that light came to be was determined by the Father. Every "ray" had a specific pattern.

Jesus is the End.

Everything that was to be before the act of Creation occurred was known by God and in turn the Son and Holy Spirit. I am not an astrophysicist. Caveat emptor. How things turn out tomorrow were known by the Father before Creation occurred.

Okay, random chance and probability.

We have free will. Creation has a kind of free will. Are we in a probablistic universe? I think so. The possibilities are endless. God is endless. The probabilities were defined by God. Random chance was delimited, determined beforehand by God. Someone who worked as a postal clerk said that God does not play dice.

Okay, okay, you want to ask, "can I do something that was not predetermined?" Yes and no. You can do something according to your free will, an autonomous choice. Unless you too are infinite there are bounds. Turing got messages from the other side. A little cryptic and my memory is flawed, but here goes.

"Religion is a boundary condition." The Bible has been described as an owners manual, left for us. Our owners manual about repair and maintenance, do\s and don'ts. We get tips on what works because of who we are and where we are. We are in a three-dimensional part of Creation. God knows what works and what doesn't. Kill your neighbor and there are certain things that occur as a result. They are not good things. Murder is a mistake. Radiation causes mutagenic changes and things go a little wacky for affected organism. The results include psychological, soulish things for us people. They include physical changes. They include spiritual changes to our spirits and everything else that spirit applies too. Universe-wide from murder. It may attenuate somewhat given distance and time, but things changed once that happened. Everything about you when you murdered someone, your anger, all of it, had some effect on the situation and the eventual outcomes. Those outcomes continue, unless God "fixes" stuff. Prayer matters, everything matters, but it is according to God's pleasure and will what is fixed if anything at all.

Result of a violation of the boundary condition. Try to understand the term "religion" as something other than an organization.

Give a "spirit" "haint" or other being from outside our three-dimensional universe (I think we have 11 dimensions in all) permission ot intervene in our affairs and you have violated the boundary condition.

Stuff along those lines, think about it.

That light became plasma, and in an instant it became a slush of sub-atomic particles. Think of neutrinos. Think of quarks. Small things. That coalescence from a plasma from light is responsible for energy to be apart from God. Remember that God is not part of Creation?

For the sake of brevity I am not saying a whole lot here. If you ask the Holy Spirit about things He will answer you or not. If you do not know the Bible, maybe not. If you are looking for an argument in any way, I do not think you will get an answer.

Paul said that Jesus holds the universe together. I think it is literally true. There is not one thing that has form, being, whatever without Jesus.

Jesus is Life. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

No one come to the Father but by Jesus. Why? Think about it.

Light/Energy in unity, then "diffraction" dispersal-plasma-matter. Yes, matter and energy were once the same thing.

Energy is part of God's creation.
