Here's a poem about the rapture, i thought i would share. It might sound kind of corny. I wrote it in the mid 90's. It has been approximately 13 years since i wrote this poem and over that time my view on the timing of the Rapture has changed. This poem is based on a pre-trib rapture. Maybe i should listen to my heart, instead of my mind. unsure.gif

Someday

Someday many many will vanish...without a trace.
We want you to know...that we are in a wonderful place.

A place where peace, love and tranquility...are forever restored.
We want you to know...that we are with our saviour “Jesus” the Great Lord.

We believers in Jesus...are protected from the coming almighty God’s Wrath.
We will soon be in white robes...after our great cleansing bath.

We want you all to understand...that you must heed our advice.
The trials and tribulations to come now...will not be very nice.

You all will very soon...experience much sorrow, suffering and strife.
The obstacles you must overcome...will be the toughest of your life.

There will come a time...when you must make a choice.
We sing aloud...“Please open your heart and hear the Lord's Voice”.

You will see many great signs from a man...which are meant to deceive.
For our Lord Jesus Christ and saviour...Is the one to believe.

This man of great deception will seek out...all who are against him.
You must adapt a strong faith in Jesus...or your future will be grim.

Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ...it will soon be your time.
Your suffering will end...the spiritual ladder you will climb.

You soul will be cleansed...in a great spiritual bath.
All those who remain...will experience God’s Mighty Wrath.

God's Blessings!!

Rob,

Thank-you so much for sharing your poem...so deep...so insightful.

The other day I was speaking to my son about Christ. Since he is going off to college come fall, I was hoping to get across to him that Christ desires ALL of us. He desires our loyalty and ALL our love. Someday our very lives may be asked of us because of our relationship with Christ. The day is fastly approaching that we as a family (The body of Christ) will be called upon to encourage and strengthen one another.

Rob, the tragedies that this world has been experiencing lately are predicted in the Bible. Rob, I am concerned and I pray. I am also praying that the Lord will provide my son with a Christian roomate to encourage and challenge him in the faith.

Thanks again.

In Christian Love,

Al

Hi Al,

I'm glad you liked it. It's meant to convey both a message of hope and a warning to those who find themselves right in the middle of the time of tribulation. A time that seems to be drawing ever so close, based on the last 2 tragic events (Burma cyclone and china earthquake) that has casualities that will probably exceed well over 250,000 combined. I agree that someday our very lives may be asked of us because of our relationship with Christ and that this day is fast approaching.

God's Blessings!!

Rob
