THE SEVEN THUNDERS
“Hold The Hand That Is His”

Reluctant, hesitant I crept to the edge,

Beyond lures everything that ever was and is,

My chest dreadfully pounds from life’s lofty ledge,

A sonorous Voice utters, “Hold the Hand that is His.”

Ardent Peace caresses my soul,

Choking coils of doubt unravel their hold,

Warm liquid assurance succumbs my heart,

Faith forges unbreakable bonds with my Lord,

To never depart.

A refuge He fashions around me a hedge,

Guarding from everything that ever was and is,

My desires, my hopes He guarantees with a pledge,

So long as I remember to, “Hold the Hand that is His.”

Scintillating Spirit inspires my mind,

Majestically soaring wings of Love to unbind,

Faith’s vitality fortifying my spirit,

With a silent symphony of Love from my Lord,

Hush.

Do you hear it?

Praise the Lord!

Beautiful.

That is an astounding spirit led poem of faith and praise. If you are the original author of it, I say thankyou for it is a treasure to be rehearsed time and again...Perfection in truth and in word of truth.

You know, I wasn't sure if to put this category under dream and visions and prophesying. There seems to be a connection between artistic gifts and the spirit of prophesy.

Shekel... I suppose, but I also think it works very well where you have it in the self expression category because it allows a broader spectrum of Christian poetry that is not merely prophetic poetry, like the recent Mother's Day poems, which really have nothing to do with dreams and visions. Just my observation.
