Lance sent this as well:

Bobby and Dot Chance have a wonderful street ministry in Hollywood and Mexico and throughout the United States. Over the years, I have been blessed to work with them in New Orleans on several occasions during Mardi Gras. Dot needs our prayers.

Bobby writes this:

Hey Everyone,

I have hesitated to share this personal family info with you, but this morning I feel led of the Lord to bring this before you.
Some of you know, but most do not... Dot has been very sick for several months now. Since before the end of last year, she has battled one sickness after another.

In early January, she got the flu that turned into pneumonia. As of today, 4 month later, she is still sick. Also, we found out through doctor visits to a specialist, her thyroid is barely functioning, bringing on a whole host of problems.

Also, for several months now, Dot has had excruciating pain in her abdomen that no one seems to know what is causing it. As soon as I finish this email to you, I am taking her to St. Joseph's Hospital for an ultrasound test to see if the doctors can find anything.

She has been unable to sleep regularly for months, many nights has to sleep sitting up. She can't eat normally and is fatigued all the time.
Because of this, to be with her and help care for her, I have cut my ministry travel to a minimum. She has not been able to go minister with me due to her sickness... I need her with me. We are praying and I have been fasting regularly to see complete breakthrough for Dot.
Will you join me in prayer for her? She is such an awesome woman of God and I know the devil is trying to thwart her. I know by Jesus' stripes, she is healed.

Candidly, Streetwise has not been in a position to provide health insurance for us. So, prescriptions for the last several months at $75. to $100. each have been challenging.

I took her to doctors at $200. and $300. a visit and hundreds of dollars for lab work. The ultrasound today will cost about $600. I will do everything possible to help her and for her to get well... but we are praying and hoping for a better way than having to come up with cash for each prescription and doctor visit.

We have an opening to get on an insurance plan that will cover pre-existing conditions. We would have to pay a 2 month premium before May 15th and the coverage will begin on June 1st.

After that, the monthly premiums to cover both Dot and me would be around $700. per month. We are believing God to make a way for Streetwise to have in its budget these funds to provide us with minimal health coverage.

I need my helpmate to be well... she has been in pain way too long... I need my wife to be well again and minister alongside of me as we continue going to the streets, reaching the lost, lonely and hurting. We know this is God's will.

Thank you in advance for your prayers and support. Remember, please email me back as soon as you can and let me know I can count on you.
Dot sends her love and thanks to each and every one. Please keep her in prayer.

Going for Jesus,

Bobby <><

What can I do but hold you both up to the Father in prayer.

Dear righteous and Holy Father, Most High, You are my God and I thank You that I can come boldly
to Your throne of grace in Jesus Christ Your only begotten Son and bring with me a request that Your Word tells us You will honor if we pray according to Your will.
Im asking Lord that You would please heal Dot and remove the physical illness from her body.
Please give Bobby and her the faith and patience to trust in You the way that they should and please bless them both Lord as they simply trust in You through Jesus CHrist Your Son.
Take away pain and illness, give her rest as she closes her eyes to sleep at night. And Lord, please provide their needs according to Your wonderful riches in glory.

I love You and thank You Lord Father GOD. In Christ Jesus I pray, Amen.

Ohhhh Lord please hear the hearts cry of this man.
He needs his wife Lord.

How precious is the love he has for her.
Like the love you have for your church.
Lord, please reach down and heal this woman.

Bring her into a complete healing so that your name may be praised.

Lord Please restore her to her husbands side, ministering to the hurting and lost.

In Jesus name
amen

Praying in agreement, heal Dot completely and bring them under an affordable health care plan, in the Name of Jesus our Lord.

Some advice on what you might be able to do:
- vitamin supplements can often help stabilize the digestive tract
- hypothyroidism can be treated with iodine suppletion (the doc will prescribe it probably)

Thank You Lord

Dot sent this update to Lance:

My thyroid finally seems to be regulated and I can actually get out of the house and go places again. The hypothyroidism caused quite a bit of weight gain - now I need to work on losing all the weight I have gained. My abdominal problems still persist. I am being bounced from doctor to doctor. I have a couple of cysts but the doctors "are not concerned" about them. That is probably because they don't feel the pain that I feel on a daily basis. My next doctor appointment is not until July 29th. I showed up for an appointment that took me two weeks to get and the girl that made the appointment made a mistake and made it with a doctor I do not know.

Bobby is still suffering with vertigo that he got when he went to Bangkok and Rangoon. He has seen two doctors and now they want him to have a hearing test (also on the 29th) to determine if they are going to continue to look for the root of the problem.

We still need to pay off some medical bills and we need to pay for our new insurance - God will supply!

Thanks, Lance. You and your precious family are in our prayers!

I have no insurance...

I have begun the task of taking responsibility for my own health as much as is possible.

I would suggest that you can get a natural health book. It could save you money and
ease your pain. Please pray about it.

I am on this road of recovery from chronic pain due to car accident and a fall.

After fasting I got a revelation/realization that one of the underlying problems
was aspartame in the sweetner that I have used for years. I posted it on the forum.

I invested about $100 on health nutrition and quit the substance immediately after
it was revealed. The pain is subsiding...the black circles under my eyes almost gone
and although I am still dealing with the extreme fatigue...I am in a better state of
mind and resting much better.

The issue of chronic pain led me down a path of pharmaceuticals that caused
toxic kidneys and the reaction looked like a scalding on my skin...that is after
taking shots to reduce inflammation and pain. Now i am much better...

I use vegetables, seriously, broccolli...and milk thistle to heal the kidneys and
other naturals.

I bought a real girlie bike...after a year of procrastination. And a helmet,
gosh I hated that. I rode it today for the first time. It hurt good.

I suffer from hypothyroid and anemia...and some other stuff. Today
I felt so good that I followed through with a good thing. Bless God.

May you be blessed with the things that you need and that God will be
your provider. Father, please touch your people with healing in their
bodies and in their emotions, that all can focus on you and leave the
ailments behind...heal your people that are called by your name, and
stir up the waters of healing that they may see them and step in.

Thank you Lord for your mercy and tender love and care. In Jesus name.
Amen

Shalom,
Signet

Dot, regarding what the docs call cysts, it is not common that they cause EXCRUTIATING pains...

But it would be worth to try a fibre-rich diet. Also make sure you drink enough, water is the best.

Not only does that help with diverticulosis (probably what the docs call cysts) but it helps the overall function of the intestines.

Approximately 30 gm of fibre a day is necessary to keep the digestive system in good working condition. Food from animal sources contains very little or no fibre. Fibre-rich vegetables include turnip, lady's finger, radish, beans, cabbage, cucumber, potato, corn, broccoli, peas, carrot, onion, tomato, green pepper, bitter gourd, asparagus, brinjal, beetroot, sprouts, leafy greens and cauliflower.
Fruits rich in fibre include avocado, guava, apricot, fig, date, gooseberry, mango, orange, pear, bel, apple, jamun, papaya, pomegranate, plum, peach, kiwi fruit and grapes.
Fibre rich legumes include kidney beans (rajma), black beans, all pulses, black-eyed peas and split peas. Peanuts, almonds, sunflower and sesame seeds, chestnuts and dried coconuts are also rich in fibre.
Cereals include oats, maize, barley, jowar, bajra, whole wheat and rice. Milling and husking depletes the fibre content of food grains. Refined foods like maida, pasta, white bread and cakes should be avoided as they are devoid of fibre.
Bran should not be sifted from the flour as it has fibre and is rich in B complex vitamins.

Here's an update from Lance:

I sent out a prayer request for Dot Chance, and one for Bill Henderson a while back…Dot sent me an update regarding both. We can continue to pray for them both, and for MaryAnn, Bill’s wife, as well.

Hi, Lance:

Thanks for praying for me and for Bill Henderson. To get an update on Bill you can go to www.Word-OnTheStreet.com. You may want to get on their email list. God continues to do the miraculous for Bill and MaryAnn! Bill is supposed to be "off" for three months. Right after Bill's accident MaryAnn broke her ankle and is in a cast!

Still praying for Bill, Maryann and Dot. I had the special chance to speak to Dot, she is a lovely woman and we talked for some time, and now email. She is a lovely lady and her husband Bobby is wonderful... they are very selfless people and if you can find it in your heart to go to the website or talk to her on the phone (her number was included at top of post), she is so great to talk to, a real friend... we have been email buddies for a month now. She's terrific and she and her husband have a wonderful ministry. Please PRAY FOR THEM! smile.gif xo Rose
