If one has heard the singing of
actual angels and can never forget it - well,
I'm certain that was authentic, because when you have heard the
real angels
sing, there is
nothing like it.
It is a sound that is almost ... organic, touchable. At its core it is -
worship. But always, beloved family of God -
Beloved, believe not
every spirit, but
try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
1 John 4:1
http://www.renewamerica.us/columns/mwest/071221In any case it
has happened twice to me. The first time
it was one voice, the second time it was a crowd of them.
It happened on the one occasion when I was completing
a combination/degree in music at a university. I tried 'conversing'
with it (I was sleeping) as if in a dream but it just kept singing.
After awakening I was in awe for about a week.
I never have mentioned this before but ... that
is the reason for my s/n.
That is why I actually change it from time to time - since it reminds me of that
experience long ago, and the responsibility of living up to that s/n by
standing confidently in the Word, which
in song is converted
via 'voice' into
different kinds of 'power'.
( I have the Psalm 37 in my profile interest section where a whole Psalm is dedicated to this)
The second time I perceived an angelic sound, it was a group of voices and I was in a beautiful park on campus when I heard it above and to the side of myself - I just stopped and stood there transfixed. Afterwards I sat in the lecture halls smiling like a mannequin for the rest of the day.
I also came to know and discern the counterfeits, which is
another longer
story.
Suffice to say, it seemed as if to be the most pure form of
worship.
There are seven entry points in one's head :
- one in each ear so that we listen twice as much as we speak
- only one ( in the ) mouth, so that we speak half as much as we listen
- one hole (pupil) in each eye to let light/photons in, to create seratonin/melatonin
for sleeping and dreaming
- two holes (nostrils) in the nose to let in air (ruach, in hebrew) - and each
nostril dilates alternately every 90 minutes to equally ' inspire' the sinuses and lungs (notice that when you have a
head cold each nostril unplugs about every 90 minutes while the other stays almost blocked)
That equals
seven holes (orfices), the number of
completion, for complete physical perception.
When you were a
baby there were actually eight holes since there was one other temporary opening in the top of your skull where your pulse could be felt ... that was the 8th entry point, but it is closed now since the occipital bones have locked together. Babies are perceptive listeners.
Out of the
mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou established
praise because of thine adversaries, to
still the enemy and the avenger.
Psalm 8:2
And said unto him,
Hearest thou what
these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the
mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast
perfected praise?
Matthew 21:16
Eight signifies eternity ('chet' - in hebrew) which is only perceived via the spirit and in hebrew, head is - 'rosh' in hebrew (
crown knows this - hence her name, 'crown') signifying that which rests on the head. The type of perception of
everything we smell, see, taste, feel and hear determines how we receive Divine revelation via the word of God.
But the occipital bones are now closed so, we are left with the seven orfices of perception. The one that the Lord has chosen as the primary receptor is the hearing
function of the ears.
So then faith cometh by
hearing, and
hearing by the word of God.
Romans 10:17
If any man have ears to
hear, let him
hear.
Mark 4:23
Hear O Israel: The LORD is our God. The LORD is the only God.
Deuteronomy 6:4
How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not
heard? and how shall they
hear without a preacher?
Romans 10:14
Only when one has
heard the word and decided how to believe it can they see and eat the word of God...
O
taste and
see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that
believeth in Him.
Psalm 34:8
So then, hearing (' Li-Shmoah ' in hebrew) is the perceptive faculty of receiving
those angelic voices, and most importantly of receiving and digesting God's word.
Have you ever smelled a perfume and cried or felt like fighting for your country?
Have you ever eaten a nice steak and were moved to tears to fight for a cause?
Have you ever touched anything and cried or felt like actually giving your life away?
Men and women
hear music, anthems, love songs, religious and/or Godly music and they will get up and dance, tap their feet, cry or be inspired to join the army or cheer for their favorite sports team.
Music can
cause riots too. Can you imagine the other senses moving you to do this? Perhaps the faculty of vision comes closest
but Jesus said:
Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast
seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have
not seen, and yet have believed.
John 20:29
We therefore must be as prudent about what we
hear as about what we
eat, see, feel, taste and smell.
Music is food for the ears . As the eyes have lids which
you can close for protecton , the ears have a plug attached called an ear-lobe to push into the orfice for prevention - except to hear true angelic voices.
