help me i have this dream that im visiting someplace (usually desert) and all the sudden an one eyed giant comees walking over to me and a faceless freind who it seems ive always known. any way we start to hide as the giant starts to destroy everything in its path to get us.as we run under a house or into a ditche i look back and see the statue of liberty...as if thats not bad enough a nucleur bomb (looks like a missle) comes and lands by the statue.. then implodes destroying everything around it even this giant. but my faceles friend protects me. i was amazed yet none of this felt strange to me. plz someone explane!!!

You already know it....New York is about to be hit....again...the second time. when it goes down, and it will....all 'liberties' will be gone....
(you must remember that this is "false liberty" ....it is a false god...(even a goddess!) and will be utterly destroyed....TRUE liberty is -obeying God-, as his children. the glorious freedom of the children of God!)
the faceless friend is from God. you will not need a face to know it, but rather, an 'ear'.
the giant is the devil...the cyclops of old....
his intent to destroy the seed .....and he is angry with his short period of time now.

war is about to break out...take cover in your Father's wings.
He is our Tower. He is the only 'holy place' of safety and refuge.
There is no other place or 'city' of refuge.

I agree. The Statue of Liberty represents BABYLON, the worldly religious system, opposed to Jesus.

God uses man to destroy the Harlot with the atomic bomb.

Face less friend: you should not know his name. Remember Jacob fighting with the angel of the LORD? To me it is God, or Jesus.

The Giant to me is the Alien, the enemy, Satan. Remember Genesis 6, and of course Luke and Matthew "As in the time of Noah..."

Hi Bob, I have an interpretation for you and ask that you bring it to the Lord in prayer, other please discern and correct as lead:

Recurring dreams can imply that there is something going on that remains in your life, and the Lord wants to bring you through it. There is something in your life thas terrorizes you, the Lord wants to bring freedom to you from it, but somehow the enemy gets in the way and destroys your ability to experience this freedom. The Holy Spirit has been by your side the whole time and is providing protection, but the Lord wants you to be completely free from this fear... is there something in your life that reminds you of this?

Hello Bob, I believe that what Caneman has posted is on the right track. Maybe the gist of your dream is "true freedom only comes from walking in the spirit". I wanted to add some symbolism to your dream and pray and see if it speaks to your heart...

Desert: Lonely, Isolation, Feelings of hopelessness
One eyed Giant: One sided challenge, Overwhelming struggle
Faceless friend: Holy Spirit
Detroying things: Chaos in your life
Into a ditch : represents pitfalls
Statue of Liberty: Personal independence, Freedom in the spirit
Bomb: Trying situation in your life that you feel helpless to handle and is about to explode if not dealt with.

The only safe place for any of us is in the will of God! He will guide us and protect us if we stay close to HIM. He wants to speak to us.

2 Timothy 1:7: "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."

Pray, study the Word, listen to the Holy Spirit, obey the LORD, Praise His name and give HIM all the glory. These are things that can help us overcome fear.

Galatians 5:13 - It is to freedom that you have been called, my brothers. Only be careful that freedom does not become mere opportunity for your lower nature.
Galatians 5:16-18 - Here is my (Paul's) advice. Live your whole life in the Spirit and you will not satisfy the desires of your lower nature. For the whole energy of the lower nature is set against the Spirit, while the whole power of the Spirit is contrary to the lower nature. Here is the conflict, and that is why you are not free to do what you want to do. But if you follow the leading of the Spirit, you stand clear of the Law.
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new'' (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Hi Bob,
The first thing that really hit home for me in your dream was the giant, when I was a child I had so many dreams with a terrible destructive giant in them and I was always running from it. I eventually learned what this meant, it was many things. First the giant is the enemy, Satan, but it is also manifests something that he has done in your life, and/or it represents a person/people that may have done it. The faceless friend is the Lord who has always protected you, usually a house in most dreams represent a church. But always it represents protection from the enemy. The "seeing" the nuclear bomb and where it will hit, (NYC) , possibly the Statue of Liberty and what it will do, it the Lords way of warning and preparing you and the church, for not only what will happen, but that you are to pray as well. But the Lord is also comforting you and encouraging you in letting you see that the destruction will destroy the giant.

On rare occassions I still have dreams about a giant, but now I know who it is, It is the enemy of God. But the Lord always protects me.

The way that the Holy Spirit will truely reveal to you about what your dream means in in the bible, get a good concordance and dictionary and look up the words that really stand out and come close to your feeling about the dream. I hope this helps.
