2 Corinthians 12;10
amplified bible
Paul said: for the sake of Christ, i am well pleased and take pleasure in infirmities, insults, hardships, persecutions, etc
Paul said that he was happy to be sick (infirmities, feebleness, weaknesses, )
where is DIVINE HEALING?
"by His Stripes, we are healed"
Paul himself healed many people by DIVINE HEALING.
apparently, God sometimes does not heal............He allows people (like Paul) to be sick, feeble, weak (infirmities)

1 Cor 12;7-11
one person gets one gift.........another person gets another gift
why doesn't a person get ALL the Gifts?............i think one answer is: our awful pride, sinful pride.........we're so eager to be puffed up with pride, God must KEEP US HUMBLE.
so, God does not give ALL the Gifts to one person
God does not give all the Revelation to one person.
If God lifts a person up very high, that person will probably be filled with sinful pride.

I would agree with your assertions here.
2Co 12:7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.
When God gives us our great gifts (whatever they may be), he also sends a little message to us to remind us that we are yet flesh and that perfection has not yet come (1 Cor 13:10). Even Paul needed to be reminded.

We know that Paul was not relieved of his infirmity at the time he wrote that letter... but God could have healed him at a later date... we just don't know, Paul never gave us an update on his condition.

well there are some very big problems with the way that this is being expressed here.
First off paul was given an angel of satan to buffet him to keep him humble because He had seen the third heaven and God did not deliver Him right away from it.- This was not a sickness or illness it was an unclean angel of satan, sent by God.
We cannot assume that God did not deliver paul ever because the scripture does not go that far, however deliverance is a promise given to us.- and unless you have seen the third heaven and need to be helped in this way, we cannot use this one instance as an excuse to remain sick.
the bible says that Gods promises are NOT yea and nay but that Gods promises are YES AND AMEN.
God is not a liar, If God promised something is done and given to believers, then it applies to ALL believers who are willing to believe that promise and that promise to us is never no, it is always YES- that is what a promise is!
God did not say " i give you the possiblity of healing," nor did God say "By whole stripes I may decide to heal some of you but not always"
but what God DID say is - BY WHOSE STRIPES YE ARE[i][s][/s] HEALED
God also said that Jesus bore our sicknesses.
2Pe 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
We are given exceedingly precious promises ( one of them is healing!) but people are selling this promise and refusing to partake of the divine nature in this area.
divine nature is the nature of God and Christ- born from above- we are new creatures.
is God or christ sick??? does the curse abide on them?
Tell me please
Is there sickness is heaven or in the kingdom of God?- Do you not know we are seated in heavenly places.
Are you the old creature still or are you a new creature born from above where there is no curse?
Did Jesus take stripes on HIS body for you so He could then tell you no i wont heal you bare your own curse?
Did Jesus bare the curse for us becomming a curse for us to free us of the curse? then why do you insist on refusing the work Christ did for you with your false doctorines?
where did Jesus or God ever refuse to heal anyone who asked?
where did Jesus ever turn someone away and say no I want you to remain sick the rest of your life for Gods glory? OR Did He instead say people were healed FOR Gods glory?
When Jesus told the aposltes and disciples to go out and heal the sick raise the dead cast out demons cleanse the lepors did He ever say but some believers God doesnt want to heal?
think on these things and stop looking at what you can see, feel, hear, smell, taste and touch and beleive the word of God no matter what!- THAT IS FAITH- and - that is where salvation is.
* the "you"'s used above are not specific to any one person but to all who do not believe the promises of God are promises.*

the last 5 days, i've been watching the videos, and reading the books at
americaslastdays.com
DAVID EELLS
he has an interesting message
1Pe 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
DAVID EELLS SAYS to believe that "you were healed" (past tense), act on that belief, throw your medicines away , imagine seeing (in your mind) that what you believe and pray for has already happened, (past tense), and that you have already recieved it (past tense)
but don't put the cart before the horse,,,,,,,,,,,,,,don't throw your medecine away until you have believed.
is EELLS right?

The question isn't "is Eells right?" but is this what the scriptures teach?
If you really want the truth on this matter...ask the Lord to show you.
if you really love the truth, He will.
I know Dave--He walks in complete health because that is a provision and benefit of our covenant with God through faith in the finished works of Christ. He has had to deal with cancer twice....He was completely healed both times.
Psa 103:2 Bless Jehovah, O my soul, And forget not all his benefits:
Psa 103:3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; Who healeth all thy diseases;
Argue with that if you want too.....I believe it.
Jesus said, "Let it be done unto YOU according to YOUR FAITH".
I ask you...was he just kidding when He said that? What limitations did He put on this statement?
Most---the majority ---actually think Jesus is a liar. They do not stand by faith in His promises...they believe what they SEE and not what the scriptures teach.
They are the 10 spies who believed the bad report...only 2 where faithful and only THEY entered the promised land.
Which will we be?
Walk by faith and NOT by sight.
The righteous live from faith.

David Eells gives all his materials and books away for free. I have never heard him ask for money once in all his 30 years of teachings. He has no church building or organization for you to join.
I follow NO man....but I've been a christian since 1980 and was a youth minister, music minister...etc. for 20 years in the "church" system.
I can honestly say that Dave is the real deal and a true disciple of Jesus Christ. His 2 books, "Hidden Manna for the End Times" and "Sovereign God" are a delight to read...I check ALL writings of man with the scriptures and I find his works to be biblical, challenging and very edifying.

Hi Dennis...
It's my understanding concerning the gifts that they aren't given to us as a personal possession but as a tool to give to others from the Father. In otherwards the gifts are for others through us. The people l know who truly operate in the gifts of the spirit operate in all the gifts except perhaps what some perceive as the gift of working of miracles. Miracles is a ladder as is healing. God heals from the inside out...What good is it to heal the body if the soul is still sick. Some people see this inner healing as the greatest miracle of all.

That is so right on Miki! And if we look at the two chapters where the gifts of the Spirit are explained, 1 Cor 12 and 14, there is the famous love chapter in 13... ever wonder why that chapter on love is right in the middle of a discussion of the gifts of the Holy Spirit? Because it is the way in which the gifts operate! It is the more excellent way, the way of love, which enables those gifts to flow.

God does not heal everyone. He crippled Jacob and then named him Israel. He let Job suffer for many a year. He had an agent of satan buffet Paul and put a thorn in Paul's flesh. Issac was blind and almost deaf. He killed Moses in the desert. He made King David suffer and suffer for years on end.
Why did these great saints suffer so while others were healed?
There are those that are going to witness against a host of people and fallen angels at the white throne judgement. To silence the accuser, who the devil himself, some of these witnesses had to be above reproach.
And what would the accusation be:
Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.
But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.
Therefore, some of the greatest saints found their lives to be quite miserable. When it was time for them to go home, they were more than happy to go get their crown and leave these old bodies behind.
For in my flesh nothing dwelleth that is good.
