Revelation
9:11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.

17:8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

17:9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.

17:10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

17:11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

I find 9:11 most interesting. To me, God is telling us who the king of the 9/11 attacks is in 9:11. I don't believe that is coincidence but I know that isn't the point you wanted to bring forward.

So.....what point are you making Stephen?

The beast from the abyss is satan's christ "antichrist". He is the beast of Revelation 17 who rules over 7 Middle Eastern human dominions and related human king positions for satan. Five existed in the ancient Middle East (the last in the scope of prophecy was the northern Greek (Syrio/Babylonia) and the next two will develop there at the time of the end. The first of these two, the 6th, will be a small dominion located in the northern Fertile Crescent area of the Middle East (most likely northern Iraq) and he will expand it into the 7th including most of the Middle East. He willl then rule for 42 months with 10 other human kings during the second 1,260 days of the 70th week decreed for Israel. The beast and these 10 kings will also destroy MBG's "great city" in one hour on one day. He and his human followers will also invade, occupy, and rule over Israel, Jerusalem, and the temple mount.

It is this fallen angelic who will do satan's bidding on the earth during the tribulation period. Satan (the dragon) will give this beast his power and authority. Abaddon-Apollyon will possess the little horn, human king of the north who appears in Daniel's visions. This human component of the triad is the man of lawlessness who will appear to humans. He will fill both the 6th and 7th king positions. The angelic "prince that shall come" is Abaddon-Apollyon and his followers will worship him as a god. Abaddon-Apollyon's god is satan.

This combination will be satan's mimic of the Lord during the time of the end. The second beast of Revelation (the false prophet) is also a fallen angelic and he will manifest in two human clerics who will lead the cult of Abaddon-Apolloyn. Satan's objective here will be to mimic and offset the Lord's two prophets who will be sent to Israel during Abaddon-Apollyon's reign for 42 months. Both of these angelics (the beast and the false prophet) will be burned in the lake of fire at Armageddon, the little horn and his human followers will become bird food, and satan will be imprisoned in the abyss for 1,000 years. After the 1,000 years are over, satan will be released to deceive the mortal nations that develop during the Lord's millennial kingdom. The Lord will then destroy him in the lake of fire. This present earth and universe will then be destroyed and replaced by a new earth and universe. The spirits of all of the unbelieving dead (the tares) from the beginning of human creation will face judgment and then destroyed in the lake of fire. All immortal believers (the wheat) will then enter the Lord's eternity which will last forever.
