This is a very light study of the number 120.

Hopefully somebody will have something pertinent to add.

Firstly 120 probably means a lot to a mathematician.

I am not a mathematician, but here are a few small points.

120 is the triangulation of 15.
(As 666 is the triangulation of 36)

12 x 10,
15 x 8,
20 x 6,
24 x 5,
60 x 2,
40 x 3,
30 x 4,

all equal 120.

3 times 120 = 360 , which is of course the number of days in the Jewish Year, and the degrees of a circle.
So it is the third of perfect circle.

Now the ages of man are divided into 3.

Before the flood, or the Age of Noah
The time of the Law, or the Age of Moses
And the last days, or the age of grace.

The age of Noah has a strong 120 marker...........the 120 year countdown God gave to the flood.
The age of Moses has a strong 120 marker..........Moses lived 120 years.

So, does this age have a '120 marker?'

I wonder what Shekel thinks? wink.gif

okay here's a little prompter.
120 is the triangular sum of 15.

funny how verse 15 here includes the number 120.

And funny phraseology too, 'the number of the names together'.

QUOTE
Act 1:15 ¶ And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,)
Simple
Just looking a bit more at the properties of 120.
so its 15 x 8,
as well as the triangular sum of 15.

So we see a connection between Peter, 120 and 15 in Acts 1 v15.

In Psalms 90, Moses tells us that a thousand years are like a day, or a watch in the night.
In 2Peter , Peter alludes to the same scripture. 'But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day [is] with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.'

Going by Roman watches, which Jesus referred to, there are 4 watches in the night. So a watch is 3 hours.

Therefore, 1000 years = 1 day = 3hrs

So a day can be seen as 3 hours.
if 3 hrs = 1 day
1 day (3x8) = 8 days

1 day = 8 days (does this say something about circumcision on the 8th day?)

if 1 day = 8 days
15 days (1 x 15) = 120 days ( 8 x 15)

so 15 days = 120 days

See the connection between 15 and 120 ?

Now look at Noah.

8 people were saved from the flood.
God gave mankind a 120 year warning.
Now watch the 15's come in.

Gen 7:20 Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered.

what about the ark?

Gen 6:15 And this [is the fashion] which thou shalt make it [of]: The length of the ark [shall be] three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits......[with] lower, second, and third [stories] shalt thou make it.

Assuming each storey is 10 cubits, the volume of each storey is 150, 000 cubits,
or 15 x 10power 3 (sorry, its a long time since I did any maths,is that right?)

So we have in the account significant appearances of certain numbers. 8, 15 and 120.
remembering that 8x15 = 120.

Where am I going with this?

DON'T KNOW!!

How about..........

a day = a year ( as per Ezekiel)

so 120 days = 120 years

so where

15 days = 120 days

then
15 days = 120 years

Survivors Of The Flood ©

By Dr. Akiva Gamliel Belk

\Gematria is a particular study of Jewish mysticism based on the numerical value of Hebrew letters in the Aleph Bais (Hebrew alphabet) as inscribed in the Torah.

This study of mysticism in Hebrew Gematria is dedicated in the loving memory of Mrs. Ethel Sakash Belk, my mother, may momma rest in peace.

The destruction of the world is months, weeks, days or maybe just hours away! Potentially millions of people are going to die! Practically every animal, insect and bird will die ... G-d is extremely displeased with His creatures! Now for some reason, and we will call that reason righteousness, you have been chosen as one of only eight people who will survive this world's destruction ... Millions of beings will die. You will survive. Place yourself in that position. Do you feel awkward? Do you feel relief... anxiety.. stress... appreciation? How do you feel about G-d? Do you trust G-d after the destruction of your friends, neighbors and relatives? Are there questions in your mind? Are you at ease with the pre destruction... destruction and post destruction period? Are you afraid? What concerns do you have?

There is no way for us to know how the eight surviving people of this world felt before, during and after this world's destruction by water. The Torah does not mention any CRISIS MANAGEMENT TEAMS THERE TO ASSIST AND ANALYZE... Yet eight people did live through this incredible, turbulent, difficult time... HOW??

Did they need reassurance from G-d? What concerns and issues would they have? What uncertainty would they experience? ... The potential for so many different issues surrounding these eight survivors is unfathomable!

Yet, we see within the pages of Torah through Gematria that Hashem offered reassurance twenty-two different times to the eight survivors. We observed this through the word Ha Tay Vaw, meaning "the ark" which in actuality represents 'YOUR SAFETY / YOUR SURVIVAL." Ha Tay Vaw occurs twenty-two times in twenty-one verses. There is only one additional reference to Ha Tay Vaw in the entire Bible. It is the reference to Moshe being placed in an ark to save his life. The Gematria of 22 expresses Hashem's feelings towards the residents within Ha Tay Vah.. the ark of security/ safety.

We see these expressions in Chaw Veev, meaning beloved / cherished. From right to left:

Chaw Veev {Beloved / cherished}
22 = Bais 2 Yud 10 Bais 2 Ches 8

We see further expressions with Toh Vaw meaning, favor, kindness, welfare.

Toh Vaw {favor, kindness, welfare}
22 = Hey 5 Bais 2 Vav 6 Tes 9

In other words, the twenty-two occurrences of Ha Tay Vaw in the Torah as a sum total reveals Hashem's feelings to His beloved {ones}... to His cherished {ones inside the ark}. It is Hashem's constant message of reassurance, extension of favor to the eight residents of the ark and His concern for their welfare... that is because of what the ark represents.

The Gematria of Ha Tay Vaw = 412 which is also the Gematria of Bais, meaning "house". In this instance, Ha Tay Vaw represents a special house "a house above the world." Ha Tay Vaw represents "the house that floats on water".. Ha Tay Vaw represents the house of safety! Ha Tay Vaw represents the house of salvation!! So each time Hashem makes reference to Ha Tay Vaw He is actually offering comfort and reassurance to the eight people who will endure the world's horrible destruction.

This is clearly established once Noach completes Ha Tay Vaw. Hashem says, "Come into the ark, you and your household, for I have seen that you are righteous before me, in this generation..." Genesis 7:1 In other words, Hashem invited Noach and his household into "His House" which would shelter them from the destruction of the world. In realizing this we observe Hashem's care for the residents of the ark as mentioned in the twenty-two occurrences of Ha Tay Vaw. We observe their acceptance of Hashem's invitation to security within the ark...

Ha Tay Vaw {The Ark}
412 = Hey 5 Bais 2 Sav 400 Hey 5

Bais {House}
412 = Sav 400 Yud 10 Bais 2

Again, there is no way to describe what the eight survivors experienced but it does help to know that Hashem prepared the survivors, guided them and assisted them in reestablishing after the flood. This is defined in the meaning of bais "HOUSE". In other words the ark was their transitional "house", from their house in the old world to their house in the new world. House implies a building, a structure, a place of gathering, a place of living, a place of learning and more. House implies security like HOME, a place to come home to after the world's destruction...

Holy reader, think of the gargantuan transition from old to new... Everything... every bais, every house, would have to be reestablished after the destruction... by just eight people. These eight people had to be very learned...to reestablish a HOUSE of EDUCATION. They had to be horticulturists... the earth has just experienced the most incredible physical transition. Oceans are now mountains. Seas are plains. Mountains are oceans. The water canopy covering earth has been removed. The hemisphere has changed. Temperatures are no longer constantly hovering around 72 degrees. Parts of Mother Earth are now very cold while other parts are extremely hot and humid... a HOUSE of HORTICULTURE had to be built. Many houses had to be built. Let your mind expand on this thought... the baker's house... the grocer's house... the house of prayer...

Ha Tay Vaw represented the transfer from the Bais of the past to the Bais of the future. It was the vessel, the house, that transported what Hashem ordered to be brought from the past to the future... animals...books... tools... seeds... clothing... So Ha Tay Vaw was the bridge house from the past to the future...

Life has a bridge between man and G-d. The directions for building this bridge is Torah. The bridge is constructed through observance of Torah! The bridge of Torah assists us in our transformation from a life of sin to a life of holiness. G-d willing the bad things in our life are left in the old world. Those things are not transported on Ha Tay Vaw. They were unloaded at Rosh Hashanah. They were dumped into the sea! We were given a new clean slate for this coming new year. Our old sins and mistakes were left behind with the old house to be destroyed. We are now in our new house in this our second week of Torah study and observance. We are transferring all the good things carried with us in Ha Tay Vaw from our old house to our new House of Torah that we are constructing for this year. May this year's house be a very good house!!

Wishing you the best,

Dr. Akiva Gamliel Belk

PS A few additional Gematrias for thought:

Noach spent 120 years constructing the ark. 120 represents the entire life of Moshe. 120 also represents the fifteenth letter of the Aleph Bais, the Samech. When Noach entered the ark he was in his 600th year. 15 divided into 600 = 40 which from a Gematrial position represents the Letter Mem. Both letters, Samech and Mem, are considered cycle of life letters because of their physical nature... their construction is circular, 360 degrees. Both represent the circle of life... the continuance of life...

120 = Years Preparing / Building the Ark

Samech {the letter spelled out}
120 = Chof 20 Mem 40 Samech 60

Seeing that the Samech represents the cycle of life, notice that the 120 years used to build the ark divided by the fifteenth letter Samech {15} equals the eight residents aboard the ark during the flood, the eight residents who would be commanded to carry the cycle of life forward, "be fruitful, multiply and replenish the earth..." Genesis 9:1

Now we read that when the flood reached its heighth it was 15 amohs above the mountains... Genesis 7:20. Again fifteen represents the fifteenth letter of the Aleph Bais, the Samech, the eight survivors floating in the ark 15 amohs above the highest mountain tops...

An additional point of interest...
In the Gematria Mispar Katan of Ahr Baw Eem - Yom - Vi Ahr Baw Eem - Law Yi Law {meaning "forty days and forty nights," referring to the total time of destruction} we observe "63" which is also the Gematria of Vah Ahb Daym, meaning "and He destroyed them" and Ye Maw Chehm, meaning "{to} be blotted out, wiped out"...

Ahr Baw Eem - Yom - Vi Ahr Baw Eem - Law Yi Law
{forty days and forty nights}

Gematria Mispar Katan}
Ahr Baw Eem
17 = Mem 4 Yud 1 Ayin 7 Bais 2 Reish 2 Aleph 1

Yom
11 = Mem 4 Vav 6 Yud 1

Vi Ahr Baw Eem
23 = Mem 4 Yud 1 Ayin 7 Bais 2 Reish 2 Aleph 1 Vav 6

Law Yi Law
12 = Hey = 5 + Lamid = 3 + Yud = 1 + Lamid = 3

63 = 17 + 11 + 23 + 12

Vah Ahb Daym
63 = Mem 40 Dalet 4 Bais 2 Aleph 1 Yud 10 Vav 6

Ye Maw Cheh
63 = Hey 5 Ches 8 Mem 40 Yud 10

As a footnote, Akiva doesn't mention Psalm 119, which is a composite of 22 and 8.
22 letters of the alphabet with 8 verses per letter.

having shown that 1 day = 8 days , i guess its worth mentioning Chanukah which starts on the 4th December.

The History of Hanukkah

Hanukkah is celebrated for eight days and nights, starting on the 25th of Kislev on the Hebrew calendar (which is November-December on the Gregorian calendar). In Hebrew, the word "Hanukkah" means "dedication."

The holiday commemorates the rededication of the holy Temple in Jerusalem after the Jews' 165 B.C.E. victory over the Hellenist Syrians. Antiochus, the Greek King of Syria, outlawed Jewish rituals and ordered the Jews to worship Greek gods.

In 168 B.C.E. the Jews' holy Temple was seized and dedicated to the worship of Zeus.

Some Jews were afraid of the Greek soldiers and obeyed them, but most were angry and decided to fight back.

The fighting began in Modiin, a village not far from Jerusalem. A Greek officer and soldiers assembled the villagers, asking them to bow to an idol and eat the flesh of a pig, activities forbidden to Jews. The officer asked Mattathias, a Jewish High Priest, to take part in the ceremony. He refused, and another villager stepped forward and offered to do it instead. Mattathias became outraged, took out his sword and killed the man, then killed the officer. His five sons and the other villagers then attacked and killed the soldiers. Mattathias' family went into hiding in the nearby mountains, where many other Jews who wanted to fight the Greeks joined them. They attacked the Greek soldiers whenever possible.

Judah Maccabee and his soldiers went to the holy Temple, and were saddened that many things were missing or broken, including the golden menorah. They cleaned and repaired the Temple, and when they were finished, they decided to have a big dedication ceremony. For the celebration, the Maccabees wanted to light the menorah. They looked everywhere for oil, and found a small flask that contained only enough oil to light the menorah for one day. Miraculously, the oil lasted for eight days. This gave them enough time to obtain new oil to keep the menorah lit. Today Jews celebrate Hanukkah for eight days by lighting candles in a menorah every night, thus commemorating the eight-day miracle.

Moses was one hundred and twenty years old when he died. His eyes were not dim nor his natural vigor diminished.
Simple
Ah!, thank you so much GL.
A push in the right direction.

well, (and please feel free to add what you think anyone)

Could natural vigour and eye clarity be another way of saying something?

We have seen with Miki's post Hearing, 144,000 & good soil in Bible Types and Patterns that Eli's dimness of eye is another way of showing spiritual shortsightedness.

So could natural vigour likewise refer to the presence of the Holy Spirit as being very alive and active in someone, and clarity of eye be a way of saying that someone is in the right relationship with God?

---------------------------------

I don't want to jump ahead, but..........

consider Jesus' prophecy to Peter in John 21.

QUOTE
Jhn 21:18Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry [thee] whither thou wouldest not.19This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God.

on the face of it this is a prophecy concerning Peter's death by crucifixion.
But could it be a double-edged prophecy?

Why does Jesus contrast youth with old age?

An old man stretching his hands out in front of him and being dressed by others.........is a weak geriatric,
stretching out his hands because his eyesight is gone.
He is carried where he doesn't want to go.......in which sense?
Spiritually perhaps? Is he being carried into doctrines he doesn't want to be a part of?
Is the death also a spiritual one?

Hope this isn't too radical for everyone's tastes.
Simple
with thanks to Miki.

This is a disscussion on parables and how to hear. The fellow on this website is discussing the soils in a prophetic sense leading up to the unveling of the 144,000. Then he uses another type in the example of the calling of Samuel. It was pretty exciting.

QUOTE
....Now, on a third and deeper level in the treasure chest of Luke 8, the teaching about four kinds of soil has a prophetic implication which is dispensational. I think it is a valid interpretation - not the only one, but well worth considering! I would like to acknowledge E. W. Bullinger for his insight into this level. The four types of ground represent four distinct periods of time during which the message about the kingdom is received by Israel in a particular way. These are given in the proper chronological sequence.

The seed which fell by the wayside was proclaimed by all the prophets from the first up to and including John the Baptist; the last. The conclusion of this sowing came when John the Baptist was not accepted, (See Matthew 11:18, 17:12-13) thus, the message he brought was not accepted. Yes, of course many did accept him, but not those to and for whom he specifically came and who are held accountable for that rejection.

The seed which fell upon stony ground was the gospel of the kingdom which was proclaimed via Christ's earthly ministry, by Jesus himself along with the Twelve and the seventy-two who were sent out while the King was among them. This period was completed when Jesus went to Gethsemane and was consequently betrayed.

The seed that fell among thorns was proclaimed primarily by the Twelve and by Paul in the synagogues of the Dispersion. This period was completed when this gospel was rejected by the Jewish leaders as recorded at the close of Acts 28. The soil which is national Israel will remain barren until such time as it is properly prepared to receive the seed and produce the crop.

According to Bullinger, writing at what must have been around the turn of the last century, the fourth sowing was yet future and would be the final proclamation of the Gospel of the Kingdom. He predicted that this sowing will be immediately preceding and during what he calls the "tribulation." if his interpretation of this fourth soil condition is valid, the time of good and noble hearts is arriving! For more details about this interpretation, study his appendices numbered 140, 142 and 145 and his companion notes found in the passages regarding the parables of the soils.

The Calling of Samuel
It seems to me that the record of Samuel's callings in 1 Samuel 3 is an account which parallels the parable of the soils on the dispensational level of teaching.

The boy Samuel ministered before the Lord under Eli. In those days the word of the Lord was rare; there were not many Visions. 2 One night Eli, whose eyes were becoming so weak that he could barely see, was lying down in his usual place. 3 The lamp of God had not yet gone out, and Samuel was lying down in the temple of the Lord, where the ark of God was. 4 Then the Lord called Samuel. Samuel answered, "Here I am." 5 And he ran to Eli and said, "Here I am; you called me." But Eli said, "I did not call; go back and lie down." So he went and lay down. 6 Again the Lord called, "Samuel!" And Samuel got up and went to Eli and said, "Here I am; you called me." "My son," Eli said, "I did not call; go back and lie down." 7 Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord: The word of the Lord had not yet been revealed to him. 8 The Lord called Samuel a third time, and Samuel got up and went to Eli and said, "Here I am; you called me." Then Eli realized that the Lord was calling the boy. 9 So Eli told Samuel, "Go and lie down, and if he calls you, say, 'Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.'" So Samuel went and lay down in his place. 10 The Lord came and stood there, calling as at the other times, "Samuel! Samuel!" Then Samuel said, "Speak, for your servant is listening." 11 And the Lord said to Samuel: "See, I am about to do something in Israel that will make the ears of everyone who hears of it tingle."

I Samuel 3:1-11

The first three times he was called, he didn't recognize the Lord's voice calling him. Upon hearing the Lord's voice the fourth time, he recognized it and rose up to serve Him! Not only do the responses to the Lord's calls correspond to the soils of the parable, (three with no crop while the fourth bears fruit) but another correlation exists with the lamp of Luke 8:16 as that "lamp of God which had not yet gone out" which is the subject of i Samuel 3:3. If the theme of the portions I underlined seem somewhat familiar, it is probably because you remember this:

When he said this, he called out, "He who has ears to hear, let him hear." 9 His disciples asked him what this parable meant. 10 He said, 'The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that, '"though seeing, they may not see; though hearing, they may not understand.'"

Luke 8b-10

The call came to be heard by Samuel but not by Eli. Eli's "eyes were becoming so weak that he could barely see", meaning that he could understand Very little of the truth. In a figure "the lamp" had almost gone out; its light was so dimly seen! By this we know that Eli had not acted upon what he had heard of the word of God and that the understanding had been subtracted from him. Consider what is written about him.

For I told him that I would judge his family forever because of the sin he knew about; his sons made themselves contemptible, and he failed to restrain them.

I Samuel 3:13

Eli failed to restrain his sons, which is to say that he failed to act upon what he knew was required of him. This is why the understanding of the word of the Lord had been subtracted from him and his ears were not hearing ears, his eyes could barely see.

The name "Eli" means, "lofty, elevated," or, "my God" in what I believe is in the sense of "I am my own God." Eli exemplifies the proud jew who is proud of self and proud against God. He represents the rabbinic leaders, the religious leaders who consider themselves to be the stewards of the mysteries of God but who are veiled from truly understanding even the most simple and basic truths. These people of whom Eli is a type are going to be destroyed. The work the Lord did through the typical and will yet do through the antitypical Samuel's ministry judges Eli's family, whose end is seen in the following verse.

When he mentioned the ark of God, Eli fell backward off his chair by the side of the gate. His neck was broken and he died, for he was an old man and heavy. He had led Israel forty years.

I Samuel 4:18

Samuel, whose name means, "His name is of God" represents the first corporate group of Jews in the end times to accept Jesus as their Messiah, Y'shua haMashiach. These faithful people are identified in the Bible by their number - 144,000. The understanding of the mysteries of the kingdom of god will be given to these people to a very high degree. The production of the crop which springs forth from the seed that is sown into the good soil will begin with the sealing of the 144,000. The crop is, in one view, the salvation of Israel. Time periods given in the Bible often have a deeper level of truth in which a year represents a full Jubilee cycle.

If you're familiar with the other articles on this site, you may have observed the correlation between Samuel's calling and another account of the calling of the 144,000 in the posture and location of the typical character when the calling was heard. When samuel heard the Lord calling his name, he was lying down in the temple of the Lord where the ark of God was. In John 13:23, the disciple who represents the 144,000 was reclining against Jesus at the supper in the upper room. I'd like to suggest to you that the upper room represents the temple. The posture of reclining can be a symbol of the presence of the people designated by the one reclining whose time had not yet come for their anointing and subsequent ministry.

Let me suggest to you now that the lamp which is lit and placed on a stand in Luke chapter 8 represents the menorah in the temple, the lamp of I Samuel 3. This lamp is not the earthly menorah, but the true one in heaven after which the earthly was patterned. The upper room points similarly to the earthly temple, but yet even beyond it to heaven itself, after which pattern the earthly had been built. The upper rooms of Acts 1:13 and John 13 merge in type, in part to teach us about the coming sealing of the 144,000. By the way, have you been introduced to the menorah yet, which the disciple who is a type of the 144,000 saw when he visited the most holy place? You can see him in Revelation 1:12-16. Bob Schlenker

Peter abruptly disappears from the story of the Church in Acts 15.

We hear of him in Jerusalem giving his rehearsed speech in Acts 11 to the contentious Jews of the circumcision.

It is peculiar that his speech is 'rehearsed', because that's not how Jesus instructed his disciples to speak in the Holy Spirit.
QUOTE

Luk 12:11 And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and [unto] magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say: 12 For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.

In Acts 15 we see Peter standing up when Paul and Barnabas come up to Jerusalem , and declaring no difference between Jew and Gentile.

However, this is the last word we hear on Peter's life, other than that which Paul tells us in Galatians.

That after the meeting in Jerusalem, Peter came up to Antioch, and had suddenly changed his tune, and was in fear of the Judaizers.
QUOTE

Gal 2:11 ¶ But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed.

It is hard to escape the conclusion that Peter capitulated to the savage backlash of the Judaizing, legalistic movement within in the church.

It is hard also to escape the conclusion that Peter 'fell away', and was written out the story.
Simple
I am convinced that these times, the real end-times, will see an awful legalistic structure come into place.

Interesting Marcus...
Simple
Something very very simple to consider.

So simple in fact it will be easy to dismiss.

We see the false prophet in revelation 13.

Because he is a lamb, it suggests he is a counterfeit/ apostate Church.

(and therefore the strong delusion)

In Acts 13 we have Paul and Barnabas' encounter with a false prophet.

' O full of all subtilty and all mischief , thou child of the Devil.'

The false prophet is called Bar-Jesus.

Bar Jesus

The Bar is the Law in English.

The connotations are numerous..........

Bar Jesus represents legalistic Christianity
Bar Jesus puts Christ behind bars........( and doesn't allow him to live in us )
Bar Jesus bars Jesus. He bans Jesus.
Bar Jesus rules with a bar.........back to legalistic Christianity.

Simple. Maybe too simple for some.

Miki
No...It's a play on words.
Simple
Its no secret that Jesus calls Peter Satan.

' Get thee behind me Satan......'

Peter is the only man Jesus ever called Satan.

In John 21, when Jesus gives his prophecy, we see Peter

'Turning about'.....(John 21 v 20)

Simple
Peter's name was added by Jesus.

He was originally Simon, which means hearing.

Jesus then added another name for him,

Petros, Peter, in Aramaic, Kephas.

Meaning rock.

Now since I doubt that Jesus named Simon Peter for fun,
and since Peter is clearly not the Rock of Salvation, (!!!!)

then it may be a prophetic word .
Simple
So why did God call Simon 'Peter'?
Why did he add Peter to his name?

Is it possible that he added to Peter a prophetic function?

If that is so, then the logical conclusion is blindingly obvious:

In the same breath that Jesus calls Peter a Rock, he also calls him Satan.

Well, just as there is an apostate Church, and Satan has a counterfeit for everything,
and just as anti means in stead of,

then Peter stands, at least in a prophetic sense, for the anti-rock.

That is , the counterfeit Church.
Or the Apostate Church.

Where does that leave us?

When Jesus was put on trial before the High Priest and the Sanhedrin,
Peter ducked for cover,(but John went in with Jesus).

That could be a message about dying to self,( or not),
carrying your cross,(or not),

Luk 9:23 And he said to [them] all, If any [man] will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

or a prophetic warning about a future reinvestiture of the Law,
and the choice to stand for Jesus in the face of the interrogation.

Mat 10:32¶ Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

I wonder what Shekel thinks? wink.gif

The reigns of the first three kings were 120 years total, or 40 each. This agrees with the life of Moses, whose life is also divided into three sets of 40-year periods. There were 40 in Egypt, 40 years having fled pharoh to the desert, and the 40 years after the Exodus unto the Promised land.

There was 120 years to build the ark. The flood came at Noah's 600th year therefore the 120-year countdown began when Noah was 480 years old (4 x 120). From the the flood unto the birth of Abraham was another 480 years (using the NT chronology), and from the birth of Abraham unto the exodus are 720 years (120 x 6). (Therefore from the flood unto the exodus are 1200 years.) From the exodus to the building of the temple in 966 BC are another 480 years (1Kings 7:1), and then 480 x 2 years later (8 x 120) is the birth of Jesus.

So yes, 120 is an important number. This is the main number used in most of the picture bible codes that I have found as well.

Explanation of picture:

The triangular image with yellow around it gives the ruff image of the 'burning mountain' in reference to the location of the menorah picture. (Some of the letters on the right of the mount happen to be missing in this picture. We will show the full Hebrew at a later time.) The phrase, "the summit of Jesus" on both sides of the mountain forms the summit with perfect symmetry! (Plus much more.) (By the way, it was the symmetry of same or similar words throughout the bible codes that suggested to me early in my bible-code research that there must indeed be hidden pictures within the text. Note also the symmetry of the fire on the mountain with the fire of the menorah---seven (x 2) letters intersecting seven letters forming a fiery 'T'---cross being carried up the mountain! The bible explicitly says that the pattern for the menorah was shown him on top of this mountain, ( Heb. 8:5).

The base of the mount is 1,200 letters wide; (10 x 120-letter skips. Compare with the "12,000 stadia" of "mount" Zion that was illumined by "the Lamb that was slain" (and "King") who is the "Alpha and Omega" and the "Lamp" of the city/mountain, with this mount being symbolic of His "bride," Revelation 19:16, 21:2,6,10,16,23. Though not shown here, the mountain can be doubled in size to form a square---perfectly symmetrical---whose lower edge begins at the very first letter of Ex. 3:1, which begins a new chapter in God's redemptive story and the last 40 years of Moses' 120-year life. (The ELS is at 120-letter skips). The text is read by reading around in five increasingly larger triangular circles tier by tier with the cloud read separately. (A total of 36 letters form the mountain summit with a combined total of 3600 letters skipped within the 5 triangles. 36 and 3600 is 6 and 60 squared respectively, etc.)

Those two images overlap each other. The one is the Lord being offered up on Mount Mariah. The date of this event is encoded along the middle line that takes you to the peak of the Mountain. The right side of the mountain is encoded with the date of when the ark landed on Mt Ararat, and 10 letters below that (1200 years later, each letter is 120 skips so that equals 1200 letters/years) is Moses at Mount Sinai and the Exodus. The Mountain is positioned between these three mountain events. 2646 BC (Flood) + 600 years = 2046 (Mt Moriah, Isaac offered up), + 600 years = 1446 BC (Exodus and Mount Sinai and the burning bush).

The picture code of the mountain, therefore, is positioned in the book of Exodus at the Burning Bush passage at the correct number of skips (120), and at the correct location in Genesis (i.e., the middle of the encoded mountain is located at the 2260th letter of Exodus), and the length of the mountain is also correct, (spans 600 + 600 letters). All three of these numerical factors had to be correct in order for this image to occur at these three said dates of Ararat, Moriah, and Sinai. Moreover, the fact that the mountain-code is located at the "Mountain of God" passage at Exodus chapter 3 makes that a fourth factor of agreement!

In the same breath that Jesus calls Peter a Rock, he also calls him Satan.
..... then Peter stands, at least in a prophetic sense, for the anti-rock.
That is, the counterfeit Church. Or the Apostate Church.

Well said Marcus ... "the logical conclusion is blindingly obvious"

The "Church Of Peter" should be blindingly obvious to students of prophecy, but it seems that the claims of the Reformation saints and martyrs regarding the papacy as the 666 beast is almost forgotten by most students of prophecy today, as they continue to look for a "future" antichrist, just as preterists look to the "past" for their 666 antichrist ... ie Nero.

Thanks for the replies.

I don't know what to say Dean.

I think I would probably need a month seminar,
and a lot of your patience,
to fully get to grips with the codes.

We are in agreement Calvin,
there is a whole lot going on under the surface,
whatever your core outlook.

Apparently when Jerusalem was sacked by the Roman army, all the relics,
including the Menorah, were shipped to Rome.

I guess if a Temple were to be rebuilt, they might requisition them back!

Regarding Peter, its difficult to ascertain what happened to him,
and how he ended up in the Vatican's front window.

There he is in Acts 15, then Paul falls out with him,
and then when Paul goes up to Jerusalem the last time, (Acts 21)
we see neither hide nor hair of him............
