Full Version: Collision Avoided

I want to thank God for driving my car today. Although I am still shaken by the near accident, and hurt my back and neck; I am still here. I am not lying in a hospital or a morgue.

On my drive to work today a car came speeding down my side of the road. Although the driver had to see me, he didn't move over. In an instant I saw my car hitting the other car head-on. And then I saw myself at the accident site calling my supervisors telling them that I was just in an accident and could not make it into work. (How the mind works in times of uncertainity is mind boggling.) The other car came speeding at me and I became frozen. In the last second I swerved the car and nearly hit the gaurd rails, and stepped on my breaks. The car went driving past me on my side of the road as I said some unchristian words. Yep, opened my mouth as I was listening to Christian radio. But avoiding that accident couldn't have been done by my own powers. I just began to cry, shake, and thank the Lord. I also prayed that the driver of the other vehicle did not cause an accident. I also thought about our teenage drivers who have so little experience in their driving skills. But what am I saying? It was not by my driving experience that I avoided that collision, after-all I froze.

Thank-you, God.

In Christian Love,

Al

Within hours after a car accident, the Lord healed me of severe injuries including several broken ribs.
