Need some color in your life? Give Jesus the paintbrush!!
Fairest Lord Jesus, there is no one like You. We offer our whole heart to you!
1 Corinthians 15:57 Thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ
FOR WHATSOEVER IS BORN OF GOD OVERCOMETH THE WORLD: AND THIS IS THE VICTORY THAT OVERCOMETH THE WORLD, EVEN OUR FAITH.
WHO IS HE THAT OVERCOMETH THE WORLD, BUT HE THAT BELIEVETH THAT JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD? I JOHN 5:4,5
I knew if it wasn't for Jesus blood I would drop dead form His glory. The LORD said that He loves us so much He wants our fellowship to be more intimate. For us to see Him more clearly and hear Him more clearly. He said that we have to get rid of the fear of His presense. Perfect love cast out all fear. We need to recognize His deep deep love for us so we will not let fear stand in the way. Ephesians 3:
17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.
A Storm, a Ghost or Jesus?
Get used to the idea that Jesus is seeking to perfect your faith. Plan on the fact that He will probably set you in some otherwise impossible situation to force your faith to the surface. Sooner or later, the real Jesus will require you to look the impossible straight in the eye and believe God for His power.
Consider the incident when Christ sends His disciples ahead of Him by boat across the Sea of Galilee; that night He crosses this same sea Himself walking on water (see Matthew 14:22-33). Yet, He decides to wait until a storm is rolling in with contrary winds and waves before He sets out. He could have waited for a calm day or simply arrived at the other side, supernaturally, without stopping alongside the boat in the middle of the sea. No, He comes to the disciples with something in mind--He comes to teach a lesson on trust.
Please note that this is a violent storm and that He offers no preliminary instruction, no "Basic Water-Walking 101." He doesn't let them practice on puddles or wait until winter so they could walk on frozen water first. He waits for a storm to teach water-walking, which is by all accounts harder to do on rolling waves than on a placid sea. Then, on top of that, He does not come in daylight; He comes at night. So Jesus comes to the disciples in the middle of the sea, in the middle of a storm, in the middle of the night to teach them to walk on water. He doesn't make it easy. But this is the real Jesus with His real disciples. And we can add to the degree of difficulty the probability that they are physically tired and more than a little fearful about the storm.
Scripture says that the sight of a figure walking on the water, coming out of the blowing wind and spray in the darkness of the night, turns the disciples' fear into terror. They cry out, "It is a ghost!" (Note: Some of the things we label as "ghostly" or demonic are really the Lord stirring life to set the stage for a lesson on faith.)
As Jesus approaches the roll of the boat, He calls out, "Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid."
When Jesus says in the midst of your storm, "It is I," it is a call to faith. When He says, "Take courage," it is a call to action: True faith will always, at some point, require courage.
Peter says, "Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water."
This is wonderful, really. Here is an insight not only into Jesus Christ, but also into Peter's relationship with Jesus. Ever since Peter has known the Lord, Christ has required him and the disciples to do impossible things--heal the sick, feed multitudes with a lunch pail of food, and raise the dead. Over and over Peter has seen Jesus work miracles; over and over Jesus has empowered Peter to do what he saw Jesus just do.
That night on the stormy sea, Peter has this amazing discernment: "If it's really the Lord, He will tell me to do what He is doing--something impossible. If it's the Jesus I know, in a moment, He will be telling me to walk on the water, too." And true to form, Jesus calls out to Peter, "Come!"
Now Peter is not about to walk on the water, not really. When he steps out, he is walking on the word "Come." He knows that the power to accomplish the impossible resides in Christ's word, and it is this supernatural reality upon which he steps.
You see, this is all about trusting the integrity of Jesus Christ's command. Do you think Peter feels power when he steps on the water? I don't think he feels anything besides the storm. No goose bumps. No "glory chills." Peter sits on the topside rail of the rocking boat and swings his legs over the churning water. Peering through the wind and rain, he looks at Jesus. Then he slips down, stands upright in the water, and begins to walk!
Splash! One step. Splash! Then another and another until Peter walks right up to Jesus. This is no little walk. Admittedly, anyone can walk on water for the first step. It is the second step and beyond that is difficult. Peter walks until the waves grab his attention; then he begins to sink. Jesus saves him, of course, and when they get into the boat the wind stops.
Maybe we would expect the Lord to say, "Peter, you did it!" Maybe Peter was expecting praise for his short water-walking career, but no, Jesus rebukes him saying, "Why did you doubt?"
Christ sees the beginning of something great within Peter and He does not want it contaminated by pride or self-pity. Most of us want a medal every time we do something for God, but He is not about to let Peter or us build a monument to our accomplishments, especially when we are just beginning. If this miracle of Peter's were done by some of us here in America, in two weeks we would have tours, T-shirts and commemorative celebrations of the day we walked on water. But Jesus will allow none of that for His disciples. He sees greatness emerging in Peter and He will not press any of His disciples toward anything other than full conformity to His image.
Remember: God's goal is that we become Christlike. The real Jesus is going to call us to do the impossible. This means that we will be called to do what we have never done before. You will see Jesus ahead of you, probably in some kind of storm, but it will be the beginning of a miracle that will change you--and the world around you.
Let's Pray: "Lord, forgive me for seeking a safe life instead of a supernatural life. I want more of You. Call me out of the boat of my familiar, predictable world. Master, for the sake of reaching the lost, increase my faith until I am standing with You on the water of divine potential. In Jesus' name, Amen." Let us show the true love of Jesus to those who are hurting and in need!!!

I saw Him in the midst of the crowd, there was such compassion etched into His face, I saw waves of love continuously break over those who reached out to Jesus, washing them, cleansing them carrying away that which was unclean and ungodly, leaving a deposit of wholeness and freedom from every pain as He entered into the heart of each person desperate to for just one touch from the lords hands.
Healing flowed from Jesus into every cell of the leper, oh my heart, as I saw the desperation of one shunned and pushed away, just one touch, that hand of the lord upon his life spoke more than a thousand words, tears flowed as the warmth of the lord entered into him, a presence so tender and comforting, life in all its richness imparted by the one who's love knows no bounds. The leper so greatful so moved that the lord unafraid wanted to touch him,The physical touch of Jesus upon this broken worn body was the first for many years, rivers of grace and compassion poured into this man who’s life had been broken by illness, a man who understood the pain and the lonliness of rejection and fear. Jesus had Left His mark upon the lepers life forever.
The woman with the Issue of blood reached out and touched the hem of his garment, the tassel gently slipped from her hand, she suddenly felt afraid and alone, she was an outcast for many years because of her uncleanliness, yet the moment she held the hem of His garment she felt the very essence of his love and healing pour into her life, power surged through her whole body bringing the release that she had searched for and longed for, for many years.
Jesus turned to her and she met his gaze, there was something about the light that danced in his eyes, something about the warmth of His smile. Regeneration rushed through her body, and all her fears melted away before the love of the one sent to heal her.
Jesus heard the cries of the mourners, distress and grief on every side. her body limp and unresponsive, Jairuses daughter was dead, as he enters the room He quickly removes unbelief from the bedside and empties life in abundance into her. Arise little Girl, she draws in fresh breath, and with eyes bright and clear, saw Jesus, how her heart leapt for Joy at the presence of one who came just for her, Jesus is amazing in places of death. He laughs as she spins and dances before him with great joy.
Mary tormented by fear and disgust at what her life had become can hardly bare to look at Him, yet He tilted her face towards Him and looks into the depths of her repentant soul, he sees a garment more rare and beautiful than He has seen in a long time. He knows her, where she has been, there is no condemnation, just tenderness towards her. He receives her touch upon his life
There is an intimate love of one who knows her so well, so pure and untainted is his love of her that sin melts within his grasp and she bends to the one who loves her deeper than she has ever known. Arrayed in a garment of repentance he turns her life around for ever.
I watch as the crowds reach out to him, and Him to them, releasing his life breath upon those worn by age, and life. I watch Him hold the one caught in adultery, covering her, protecting her in every way, shielding her in her nakedness before her accusers. Forgiving her and releasing her to build a new life, releasing her from a sentence of death as he stoops to write in the sand, and those accusing fingers that pointed at her now point back at their own lives. Go and sin no more. I never saw a crowd look more ashamed .
I see the excitement in his eyes as the children run to him, and hold onto his hands and legs, His excitement rises as he sees glory displayed within each one, they are gathered into His arms. I hear the beating of His heart as He sees the purity and innocence in their tiny lives, He is moved by their complete faith and trust in Him, and uses those pure hearts to reach many.
This beautiful woman, one who’s name and precious act is immortalized forever, as she breaks the alabaster jar over Him, her lifes worth poured over his head, she anoints Him with her balm. Never has He known such love, and He responds with His mark and touch upon her life that would forever stand as a testimony before us of His great love for her, immortalized through that one act of completely giving herself to Him, those who watched completely misunderstood her heart, but He saw her for who she truly was, and He responds for all eternity with admiration and love of her.
This is my lord, as He pushes through the crowds He knows every face, but He is searching looking for someone, and then He catches sight of you! Yes you, and everyone else in the crowd disappears, as He looks into your life, and pours in the fragrance of one who’s love knows no bounds concerning you. His smile sinks into the farthest corners of your heart, and reaches you with a depth of compassion, forgiveness and love like you have never known, His love so strong that it is eternal not fleeting and momentary. He gathers you into his arms and holds you like He will never let you go. He knows you the one in the multitude. He holds your head close to his chest and speaks.
I gave everything for you willingly, so that you would receive the fullness of who I am to reach those in the crowds of life who come before you as you minister in my name.
Will you be the fullness of who I am, and reach out to those who are lost and do not know me. To know me is to understand my heart, to know me is to open your mouth and to be my voice, to be my hands of healing and mercy to a dying world. To know me is to be filled to overflowing with compassion towards those who are unlovely, to those who are being lost.
I take your hand and say come follow me, follow me into the darkest places that I may bring my light. Follow me into the places of your own life where you need healing and wholeness, and then tell others of your freedom as I change your mindsets and your heart..
I have not changed, I change not, I am the same Jesus that walks within your steps as you walk the streets, I am the same Jesus as you speak, I release my spirit into your voice so that those words become a voice of healing and revelation to those who need to be set free from every kind of sin and bondage.
As you reach out your hand to touch the oppressed and the sick, the bound and the tormented, I bend and my touch is released from your hands and bring healing and deliverance.
As you give yourself to me so I give my life to you, my blood has saved you, washed you, and enables you to bring the news of salvation to those who are blind and deaf, and who do not yet know me.
As you speak a word to command, you use my authority, no weapon formed against you will prosper that voice will bring release. On this day the day that has been made for you I come, and am as much in the midst of you as I ever was, I Am with you, yesterday, today and forever.
How I love you, I looked into the crowd today, and I saw you, beautiful, adorned, dressed in garments of rightousness , you are precious in my sight, and so I call to you come, lets walk together, take my hand, lets walk through the streets of your life and do the impossible together, come and see life on the streets through my eyes, let me be the extra guest at your table this thanksgiving, let me take pleasure and delight in the midst of your gathering.
I love you eternally, I am thankful for your life too.
That still small voice.

Sing me a song about Jesus, for I am a BIG Jesus fan!!! Oh, how I love His Name, and if I desire in my life to be able to impart anything to others, it's the love and honor I give unto His Name, and a greater hunger for the One that Name represents!!
LASTLY FATHER, WE THANK YOU FOR JESUS, WHO IS THE BRIGHTNESS OF YOUR GLORY, AND THE EXPRESS IMAGE OF YOUR PERSON AND WHO UPHOLDS ALL THINGS BY THE WORD OF HIS POWER, AND WHEN HE HAD BY HIMSELF PURGED OUR SINS, SAT DOWN ON THE RIGHT HAND OF THE MAJESTY ON HIGH SO THAT YOUR WILL COULD GO FORTH IN EVERY AREA OF OUR LIVES TODAY
IN JESUS NAME, WE PRAY…AMEN!
Paul was struck with the blinding light of revelation and knocked off his horse when he encountered the Lord on his way to Damascus with the intent to continue his breathing out of "threatenings and slaughter" against the disciples of the Lord. That revelation happened in his life when He asked the Lord, "Whom art thou, Lord?" and the Lord responded, "I am JESUS…" (Acts (9:1-9)
