A friend of mine was given this revelation and as time has passed, the Lord has confirmed this to me in His Word. See if you agree or have any further insights.
The First 42 months (3.5 years) of the coming tribulation are hidden in the events of the Gospels.
The Second 42 months (3.5 years) are hidden in the book of Acts.
The tribulation begins according to Daniel with the "Covenant made with many for one week" (7 years)
Dan 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week:
So we should be able to find this "covenant with many" at the start of the Gospel.
Luke 2:1 Now it came to pass in those days, there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be enrolled. Interesting......
Next is the birth of Jesus Christ. This happens at the beginning of the first 42 month period.
Rev 12:1 And a great sign was seen in heaven: a woman arrayed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars;
Rev 12:2 and she was with child; and she crieth out, travailing in birth, and in pain to be delivered.
Rev 12:5 And she was delivered of a son, a man child, who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and unto his throne.
Obviously we see this in the Gospel.
Luke 2:7 And she brought forth her firstborn son; and she wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
Then we see the Dragon attempt to kill the child.
Rev 12:4 and the dragon standeth before the woman that is about to be delivered, that when she is delivered he may devour her child.
Again we clearly see this in the Gospel.
Mat 2:16 Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the Wise-men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the male children that were in Bethlehem,
The throne experience is also there as Christ is baptized.
Mat 3:16 And Jesus when he was baptized, went up straightway from the water: and lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove, and coming upon him;
Mat 3:17 and lo, a voice out of the heavens, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
Next is the "woman" going into the wilderness for 42 months (3.5 years)
Rev 12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that there they may nourish her a thousand two hundred and threescore days. (42 months=3.5 years)
In the Gospels we have Jesus gathering His disciples and teaching them in the wilderness for 42 months. (3.5years)
Mat 15:33 And the disciples say unto him, Whence should we have so many loaves in a desert place as to fill so great a multitude?
Mat 15:36 and he took the seven loaves and the fishes; and he gave thanks and brake, and gave to the disciples, and the disciples to the multitudes. Here we see the "woman" in the "wilderness" being "nourished". wow!
Then, in general, we have the opposing forces of the Harlot attempting to kill the Christ (Man-Child) through-out the 3.5 years. The Pharisees and Sadducees did this to Jesus just as the United Religions under the U.N. will do to the true disciples during the Tribulation.
Rev 17:6 And I saw the woman (Harlot) drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus.
Mat 12:14 But the Pharisees (Harlot) went out, and took counsel against him, how they might destroy him.
THEN we have the betrayal of Christ by one of His OWN. Judas was "hidden" inside the group and no one knew that he was a devil. When he betrayed Christ for 30 pieces of silver, he was exposed to all and he fell away.
John 13:25 He leaning back, as he was, on Jesus' breast saith unto him, Lord, who is it? (they had no idea)
John 13:26 Jesus therefore answereth, He it is, for whom I shall dip the sop, and give it him. So when he had dipped the sop, he taketh and giveth it to Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot.
John 13:27 And after the sop, then entered Satan into him. Jesus therefore saith unto him, What thou doest, do quickly.
Luke 22:3 And Satan entered into Judas who was called Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.
Luke 22:4 And he went away, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might deliver him unto them.
The same thing happens in the tribulation, many who are "hidden" in the churches at this point will betray Christ by taking the Mark of the Beast...these will be revealed by their act of betrayal and fall away and be desolated just as Judas was. These are the corporate "son of perdition"...they follow in Judas' footsteps and Jesus called Judas, The son of perdition.
2Th 2:3 let no man beguile you in any wise: for it will not be, except the falling away come first, and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition,
2Th 2:4 he that opposeth and exalteth himself against all that is called God or that is worshipped; so that he sitteth in the temple of God, (Satan ENTERED Judas=temple) setting himself forth as God.
Next is the Crucifixion of Christ, the resurrection and the day of Pentecost......which takes us into the book of Acts. I'll post this next segment a bit later.
