Your gratefulness has touched My heart. While many are out reveling in the cold and chill of the world with its pleasures, you choose the warmth and safety of My love. By grace you have received My cup of blessing – your inheritance. Some never receive their inheritance. Not so with you. Your heart if filled a rare degree of gratitude because you know that all you have is from Me. You also know that everything I have is yours. Like Abraham when he separated from Lot, you have walked off and staked out the land I have given. You established your altar on My gift to you. Also like Abraham, in the end you will receive not only this land but the lush land that Lot selfishly chose for himself.
Psalms 16:5-6 "LORD, you alone are my inheritance, my cup of blessing. You guard all that is mine. The land you have given me is a pleasant land. What a wonderful inheritance!"
Doors of opportunity are opening before you, but if you cannot see them you will not go through them. It is important that you quiet your soul and look through spiritual eyes to see the possibilities. Listen carefully for the leading of My Spirit, for I will open your eyes to see and your ears to hear. Extraordinary times call for extraordinary measures to accomplish all that is set before you in this season. I have called you for such a time as this, I have equipped you, and I will send you. And, you will not suffer lack, says the Lord.

Don't give up; you're almost there. To stop short of your goal is to not see My goodness. The truth is that NO weapon formed against you shall prosper and every tongue that rises up against you in judgment is condemned. I tell you that breakthrough is absolutely imminent. SWDDs - Spiritual Weapons to Destroy the Demonic

Luke 10:19 (KJV) - Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
Isaiah 54:17 (KJV) - No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.
My wife and I are learning more and more about spiritual warfare as we travel this journey we are on with the Lord. A couple of weeks ago, I was riding down the road in my car listening to a particular song on a CD I own. The song recites portions of Philippians 4:13 and Isaiah 54:17 over and over again. I love this song because after awhile, these scriptures take root in my spirit. The Lord drew my attention to the first part of Isaiah 54:17 which states “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper”. I am very familiar with this scripture as I speak it quite often over my life and over the lives of my wife and children as well as others. As I meditated on the words, God revealed to me that our enemy has no ready weapon. Get that in your spirit! He has NO weapon readily available to use against us. He must try to “form” a weapon against us in order to place a stumbling block before us. One of the Hebrew root words for the word “formed” is “Yatsar”. It means “to bind, be distressed, be in distress, be cramped, be narrow, be scant, be in straits, make narrow, cause distress, besiege”. This word means that the enemy must literally “squeeze” a weapon out against us (Strong’s Concordance). Here’s how it works…the enemy brings “fiery darts” (Ephesians 6:16) which are temptations in the form of thoughts he places in our minds. At the same time, he is often bringing the same type of garbage into the minds of others around us. If we allow our flesh to wrap around those temptations, a weapon starts to form against us and the other people involved. Through pressure exerted by people and circumstances, the enemy is able to “squeeze out” a stumbling block before us. However, he cannot accomplish this without a lapse of spiritual discipline on our part. Read that last sentence again as it is the most important in this message. When the pressure comes, the Holy Spirit will sound the alarm. When that thought enters your head that is unholy, like antibodies in the blood, Holy Ghost starts to mobilize. However, if we ignore the alarm, we allow ourselves to be drawn into a snare. The good news is that God is a God of “grace”. Isaiah 54:17 assumes that the weapon is “already” formed. Therefore, the promise is that we can still cause that evil weapon not to prosper if we wake up, listen to the Holy Spirit, and allow Him to direct us.
We should never whine to God about the enemy. Jesus made a declaration and a promise in Luke 10:19 that should always be on the tip of our tongues. He has given us all power and authority over the enemy. 1 John 4:4 tells us that the Jesus in us is far greater than the satan in the world. When we beg and plead with God about the enemy rather than taking authority over the enemy, we are in effect stating that the promise in Luke 10:19 is false. The enemy has no ready weapon to use against us. However, as 2 Corinthians 10:4 states “the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)”. Our weapons are spiritual and always ready to go if we will only use them by the Holy Ghost. Our weapons are always on-line and powered-up. It is not necessary for us to “form” a weapon against satan and his demonic government. All we must do is pull the trigger. God has given us SWDDs – Spiritual Weapons to Destroy the Demonic. Yes, demons are spiritual beings, but when we take power and authority over them and nullify their works by the name of Jesus, they are in effect, destroyed!
So, how do we pull the trigger? First, we must bring our flesh into subjection. The flesh is like an immature lineman on a football team…always prone to jump off sides without thinking. Humility brings the flesh in subjection to the spirit. We must be able to admit to ourselves and others that like all human beings, we are subject to temptation. If Jesus was tempted by the devil in all ways we are, why do we sometimes act like we are “above all that”? We must maintain humility and contriteness in order to hear the Holy Spirit tell us to “watch out”! Next, we must use the power and authority we have by the Holy Ghost. Isaiah 54:17 tells us that judgmental tongues will rise against us. Isaiah is talking about “wagging” tongues…gossip…innuendo and backbiting, all of which bring curses on our lives and others. Have you ever heard of “fighting fire with fire”? We must step into the power and authority of Christ by allowing the Holy Spirit to empower us, then, in faith, use our tongue and speech to pray against the works of the enemy in the name of Jesus. By the Holy Spirit, God even gives a gift of tongues that assists us in this effort because the enemy is not privy to what the Holy Spirit is saying through us. Humility is important because we know from James 3 that our tongues are prone to be used for evil against others. Ephesians 6:12 tells us that our enemy is satan, not other people. Therefore, if you find yourself using your tongue to attack another person rather than using it to battle spiritually with the enemy, you can bet that you are in the flesh and not in the spirit. Like David, we should be quick to repent so we can go after the real culprit, satan. Whenever we pray and speak out in the Spirit, we should consider that thing done by faith. Therefore, if you are rebuking the enemy, by faith, you should see him shrinking back and fleeing from the resurrection power of Jesus that the Holy Ghost is exercising through you.
As we grow in the Lord, spiritual attack increases. That’s the price of doing the Lord’s business. Resolve this day by the Word that you have everything you need in the Holy Spirit to be victorious in every battle. If you have not been filled with the Holy Ghost and endued with His power and authority, take time right now to reaffirm Jesus as your Lord and Savior, then ask the Holy Spirit to fill you. God places the desire in our hearts to go into deeper waters with Him. If you feel that tug on your heart…that desire to walk in everything that God has for you…take a step of faith and tell the Holy Spirit that you want Him to take control…He will change you forever and no power of hell will be able to stand against you if you abide and walk in Him.

Philippians 1:6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. Exodus 15:18...The Lord shall reign for ever and ever. Deut. 15:6...For the Lord thy God blesseth thee, as he promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and thou shalt reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over thee. 2 Tim. 2:12... If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us. Help us to endure & be able to and have patience with all joy.
We know that the joy of the Lord is really our strength! We desire to be able to absolutely depend on our awesome God for everything in our life. We should never doubt You, wonder if You are really there for us, feel depressed, lonesome, hopeless, etc. We so desire and long to spend time you.
WISDOM, POWER, LOVE = OUR GOD IS AN AWESOME GOD!
