in 677 AD the Dome of the Rock was built and no sacrifice was made like ancient times.
in 1967 East Jerusalem fell in the hand of Ashkenazi jews (magog), year 1335 is 2012 time of jesus return to settle every thing up.

Throughout the centuries, people who reject the Bible continue to challenge its authenticity. In spite of this, the Hebrew Scriptures remain infallible. In testimony to the entire world, the LORD provides the final atonement through which fallen mankind can be redeemed and reconciled to Himself. In John 5:39 Jesus tells us, “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.”

Jesus’ words were certainly true, for Moses and the prophets described the Messiah with great detail throughout the Scriptures. But with pinpoint accuracy, flawless precision and in absolute defiance to the unbeliever, it was through the prophet Daniel that the LORD God revealed the exact month and year in which His Son the Messiah would make His entrance into the world and establish the New Covenant. This prophecy, found in Daniel 9:24-27, records the words of the angel Gabriel who tells the prophet:

Daniel 9:24 “Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.”
Daniel 9:25 “Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.”
Daniel 9:26 “And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.”
Daniel 9:27 “And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
In this passage, the angel Gabriel appears to Daniel near the end of Israel’s seventy-year captivity in Babylon. King Nebuchadnezzar had previously conquered Israel in 607/606 BC and took the people captive. The book of Jeremiah predicts the eventual return from this captivity and establishes the basis for Daniel’s beliefs. Daniel 9:2 states, “In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.”

Regarding the land of Israel and its inhabitants, Daniel was fully aware of the prophecy written in Jeremiah 25:11: “And this whole land shall be a desolation, and an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.”

Daniel was also aware that, after the seventy-years expired, the children of Israel would be allowed to return to their land. Jeremiah 29:10 tells us, “For thus saith the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.”

In the beginning of Daniel chapter 9, Daniel prayed. He confessed to the LORD God his own sins and the sins of his people that resulted in their punishment and their exile to Babylon. He expressed that they had all done wickedly and committed iniquity and rebellion against God. Also they had refused to hearken to the prophets and failed to keep His laws, commandments and statutes. Most importantly, Daniel was extremely concerned about whether or not his people had truly repented for their sins during their captivity. We can see this evidence in Daniel 9:13, “As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the LORD our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth.”

Daniel was concerned about his people’s repentance for a reason. In Leviticus chapter 26, the LORD told Moses that if the children of Israel refuse to come to repentance and be reformed during their punishments, He would push the punishment to the next level and punish them yet seven times more for their continued hardness of heart. The next level would result in 490 years of additional judgment on top of the 70 years of punishment that was about to come to an end. The applicable passages from Leviticus chapter 26 follow:

Leviticus 26:17-18 “And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you. And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.”
Leviticus 26:20-21 “And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits. And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.”
Leviticus 26:23-24 “And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me; Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins.”
After nearly seventy years of exile, seven times the punishment for his people was more than Daniel could bear. Remembering Leviticus 26:40-43, Daniel began to repent on behalf of his people while reminding God of the everlasting covenant that He made with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob:

“If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me; (41) And that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity: (42) Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land. (43) The land also shall be left of them, and shall enjoy her sabbaths, while she lieth desolate without them: and they shall accept of the punishment of their iniquity: because, even because they despised my judgments, and because their soul abhorred my statutes.”

Daniel, in deep concern for his people, bitterly pleaded to the LORD God of Israel for mercy and forgiveness. According to Daniel 9:24-26 the angel Gabriel, a messenger of God, came to him with both good news and bad news. Though the children of Israel would be allowed to return to their land after the seventy years were expired, it would be ‘seventy weeks’, or seventy years times seven (490 years), through which reconciliation for iniquity, everlasting righteousness and the anointing of the most Holy place would occur. Because the children of Israel had failed to truly repent during their captivity, they would be punished. They would be allowed to return to their land, but there would be seven times more punishment for their stubbornness as promised in Leviticus chapter 26. For an additional seventy weeks of years, they were placed under the authority of pagan kings.

According to Daniel 9:25, Gabriel told the prophet when the time period would begin. It would commence with the decree to restore and build Jerusalem. Furthermore, it would be sixty-nine weeks of years, or 483 years from the time that the decree would be given to rebuild Jerusalem to the time that the Messiah the Prince would fulfill the prophecy. Finally, according to Daniel 9:26, the Messiah would be cut off or killed at the end of this sixty-nine weeks or 483 year period.

Seven Weeks plus Sixty-two Weeks: Why the Breakdown?
Many people question why the sixty-nine weeks in Daniel 9:25 are broken down into increments of seven weeks and sixty-two weeks. In order to address this issue, it is important to realize that when the exile began, the LORD considered it important that the land of Israel itself would keep her Sabbaths and rest. One of the reasons why Israel was punished and exiled into Babylon was because the people failed to keep the Sabbath rest for the land as commanded in Leviticus chapter 25. This is explained in 2 Chronicles 36:20-21 as follows:

2Chronicles 36:20-21: “And them that had escaped from the sword carried he away to Babylon; where they were servants to him and his sons until the reign of the kingdom of Persia: To fulfil the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed her sabbaths: for as long as she lay desolate she kept sabbath, to fulfil threescore and ten years.”
It is important to realize that God used cycles of seven years or weeks of years in dealing with Israel and counting time. The seventy weeks or 490 year prophecy of Daniel that began with the decree to restore and build Jerusalem was a continuation in seven-year cycles that included the Sabbath rest of the land. God did not end these cycles when Israel returned to the land. However, they continued until the coming of the Messiah and the fulfillment of the prophecy.

Leviticus chapter 25 describes what must take place when the children of Israel are brought into the land. Leviticus 25:1-2 begins, “And the LORD spake unto Moses in mount Sinai, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the LORD.”

The Bible explains in Leviticus 25:3-4 that there would be six years of sowing and reaping. However, on the seventh year the land should remain inactive, and rest. “Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof; But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the LORD: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.”

Then Leviticus 25:8-10 explains that after seven sabbaths of years, or 49 years, on the tenth day of the seventh month which coincides with Yom Kippur, the trumpet will sound proclaiming liberty to all the inhabitants throughout the land. This fiftieth year, beginning on Yom Kippur, is called the year of Jubilee:

“And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years. (9) Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubile to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land. (10) And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.”

This proclamation, which began on the fiftieth year on Yom Kippur, had a dual significance. On this day, the entire nation of Israel became clean from all their sins when the high priest provided the sacrifices and burnt offerings. We can see in Leviticus 16:30, “For on that day shall the priest make an atonement for you, to cleanse you, that ye may be clean from all your sins before the LORD.”

During the year of Jubilee, every debt between each individual was wiped clean and declared null and void. God erased every person’s debt and completely restored each individual to Himself and to each other. Leviticus 25:11 clearly defines that, “A jubile shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather he grapes in it of thy vine undressed.”

The combination of both the Day of Atonement and the Year of Jubilee provides the complete picture of the future reign of King Messiah. Mankind will be reconciled with the Holy God of Israel and liberty will be proclaimed throughout the land.

According to Daniel 9:26, at the end of the first seven weeks or 49 years, Israel would celebrate the Jubilee. This would then provide the foundation for the next sixty-two weeks of years or 434 years. The Jubilee would focus Israel on the coming of King Messiah to atone for sin and proclaim liberty throughout the land.

The Persian Kings
Even though Israel's exile into Babylon officially began in approximately 607/606 BC, Nebuchadnezzar’s final destruction of Israel did not occur until the summer of 586 BC.1 Then in 539 BC, the Babylonian Empire fell to the Persian King, Cyrus the Great. The Persian Empire lasted until 332 BC, when it was defeated by the Greek general Alexander the Great at the battle of Guagemala River.2 In this year, the Greek Empire took control of the Persian Empire and dominated most of the civilized world.

According to recorded history, the Persian Empire ruled over Israel for a total of 207 years, from 539 BC to 332 BC. This world empire began with Cyrus the Great and the fall of Babylon. It ended with Alexander the Great's victory. These facts are important since the Persian kings played critical roles with respect to Bible prophecy, especially in regards to the ‘Seventy Weeks of Daniel.' One of these kings, Artaxerxes I, issued the commandment to restore and build Jerusalem.

Secular history supports and justifies ALL dates of the reigns of the Persian kings mentioned in the Bible. When reviewing the history of these great kings it is important to be aware that, similar to the titles Caesar and Tsar, Artaxerxes is merely a title given to a Persian king. It is not a name at all!

Throughout the duration of the Persian Empire, there were several kings who were known as Artaxerxes, including Cambyses who was the son and successor of Cyrus the Great. In addition, the king who provided the decree to restore and build Jerusalem was also known as Artaxerxes. Some historical resource materials refer to him as either Artaxerxes I or Artaxerxes Longimanus. He was the son of Xerxes, who was also called Ahasuerus in the Bible.

Throughout recorded history, the chronological order of the Persian kings from Cyrus the Great to Darius III is supported and documented as follows:

Cyrus the Great 559 BC to 530/529 BC3
Cambyses also known as Ahasuerus 530/529 BC to 522/521 BC4
Pseudo Smerdis also known as Artaxerxes 521 BC
Darius the Great 521 BC to 485 BC5
Xerxes also known as Ahasuerus 485 BC to 465 BC6
Artaxerxes I 465 BC to 425/424 BC7
Darius II 423 BC to 404 BC8
Artaxerxes II 404 BC to 359 BC9
Artaxerxes III 359 BC to 338 BC10
Darius III 338 BC to 332/330 BC11

The Persian Kings in Secular and Biblical History
The Hebrew Scriptures identify all six kings from Cyrus the Great to Artaxerxes I. As a result, the Bible is in total agreement with recorded history. The historical events in the Hebrew Scriptures end with the book of Nehemiah and the reign of Artaxerxes I. The key Biblical references to these six kings are as follows:

The First King: Cyrus the Great. He became the king of Persia in 559 BC. In 553 BC, a date that is firmly established in the Annals of Nabonid,12 Babylonian historical records, he revolted against Media and in 550 BC conquered the whole of the Median kingdom. Then in 546 BC, Cyrus conquered the kingdom of Lydia.13 In the following year, he took the whole of Asia Minor.14 While large parts of the Babylonian territory were conquered, he did not conquer the Babylonian Empire and establish his world dominance until 539 BC. Cyrus ruled over Israel from 539 BC to 530/529 BC. He issued the decree during the first year of his reign to allow the Jews to return home and rebuild the temple in Jerusalem.15

Ezra 1:2 “Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The LORD God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to build him an house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah.”

The Second King: Cambyses also known as Ahasuerus [see Ezra 4:6]. He was the son and successor of Cyrus the Great. He reigned from 530/529 BC to 522/521 BC BC. Like his father, he continued in world dominance. After conquering Egypt in 526 BC, he was made Pharoah.16 He was assassinated while traveling back from Egypt with his army in 522/521 BC.

The Third King: Pseudo Smerdis also known as Artaxerxes - an impostor to the throne. He ruled in 521 BC. After hearing that the Jews were rebuilding Jerusalem without any authorization while they were rebuilding the temple, Ezra 4:7, 21 reveals that he issued a decree ceasing all building until a further decree would be given. He was killed by his successor King Darius before providing that decree.

The Fourth King: Darius the Great. He ruled from 521 BC to 485 BC. He was a remote cousin of Cambyses. He was a strong ruler. He built the great cities of Susa and Persepolis and a tremendous road system throughout the empire. He tried to expand his empire westard and invaded Greece. In 499 BC, some of the Ionian Greek cities in the Greecian settlements along the turkish coast rebelled against Persia, and in 494 BC, Darius finally stopped the uprising.18 Having set out to conquer the rest of Greece, his troops were defeated at the battle of Marathon in 490 BC.19 The Persian wars, beginning with this battle, would last for a total of 42 years into the reigns of his son and grandson. Darius reversed Pseudo Smerdis' decree and allowed the temple to be completed. It was during his reign that the temple was finished in 516 BC.20

Ezra 4:24 “Then ceased the work of the house of God which is at Jerusalem. So it ceased unto the second year of the reign of
Darius king of Persia.”

The Fifth King: Xerxes, also known as Ahasuerus. He reigned from 485 BC to 465 BC. Xerxes became the king of Persia at the death of his father Darius the Great in 485 BC. In 480 BC he took 200,000 men and 1000 ships and moved by land and sea through Thracia, in eastern Greece, and eventually defeated the Greeks at the battle of Thermopylae.21 Then in 479 BC, Xerxes took Athens, but while he was burning the temples of the Acropolis, the Athenians quashed his fleet of ships in the battle of Salamis.22 Then in the same year, his army was defeated at the battle of Plataea.23 He burned many Greek cities and stirred the Greeks against the Persians.

The prophet Daniel specifically foretells that the fourth king of Persia, who was Xerxes, will incite the anger of Greece. Daniel 11:2 states:

“And now will I shew thee the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: and by his strength through his riches he shall stir up all against the realm of Grecia.”

There can be no doubt that Xerxes’ battles with Greece and the destruction of their cities and temples created a lasting hatred and hostility. It was also the fulfillment of Daniel’s prophecy. In 465 BC, Xerxes was assassinated by one of his sons. In the Bible, he is the king in the Book of Esther:

Esther 1:1-2 “Now it came to pass in the days of Ahasuerus, (this is Ahasuerus which reigned, from India even unto Ethiopia, over an hundred and seven and twenty provinces) (2) That in those days, when the king Ahasuerus sat on the throne of his kingdom, which was in Shushan the palace,”

The Sixth King: Artaxerxes I, Longimanus. He ruled from 465 BC to 425/424 BC and was the grandson of Darius the Great and son of Xerxes. His empire was marked with peace and tranquility. Under his rule there was no expansion. In 449 BC, he ended the Persian Wars started by Darius the Great.24 Jewish history records that his elder brother murdered him in 425/424 BC in a power struggle for the throne.25 In Biblical history, most importantly, he was the king that provided the decree to restore and build the city of Jerusalem. Artaxerxes I reigned during the time of Nehemiah as evidenced in the book of Nehemiah:

Nehemiah 5:14 "Moreover from the time that I [Nehemiah] was appointed to be their governor in the land of Judah, from the twentieth year even unto the two and thirtieth year of Artaxerxes the king, that is, twelve years, I and my brethren have not eaten the bread of the governor."

Alexander the Great
The people of Greece never forgot what happened to their cities and their temples at the hands of the Persian Empire during the reign of Xerxes in 479 BC (Daniel 11:2). It would be approximately 147 years later, in 332 BC, when Alexander the Great and his army took vengeance against the Persian Empire by defeating king Darius III at the historic battle of Guagemala River. Daniel 11:3-4 prophesies the end of the Persian Empire:

“And a mighty king shall stand up, that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will. (4) And when he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided toward the four winds of heaven; and not to his posterity, nor according to his dominion which he ruled: for his kingdom shall be plucked up, even for others beside those.”
At the height of his power, Alexander the Great died. As a result, his empire was divided into four smaller kingdoms in fulfillment of Daniel 11:4.26

Cyrus, Darius and Artaxerxes
According to the Scriptures, three Persian kings provided decrees in support of the return of the children of Israel from their captivity in Babylon. This is found in Ezra 6:14 which identifies each of the kings in order of his reign as Cyrus, Darius and Artaxerxes:

“And the elders of the Jews builded, and they prospered through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo. And they builded, and finished it, according to the commandment of the God of Israel, and according to the commandment of Cyrus, and Darius, and Artaxerxes king of Persia.”
The Bible is clear that Cyrus the Great decreed that the house of God, the temple, would be rebuilt. Written almost two hundred years prior to the reign of Cyrus, Isaiah 44:28 shows, “That saith of Cyrus, He is my shepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure: even saying to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be built; and to the temple, Thy foundation shall be laid.”

Cyrus made his edict during the first year of his reign, in approximately 538 BC. Though Cyrus acknowledged that Jerusalem would eventually be rebuilt, he would only provide the decree to rebuild the temple and not to rebuild the entire city of Jerusalem. Ezra 1:2-3 confirms this:

“Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The LORD God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to build him an house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah. (3) Who is there among you of all his people? his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of the LORD God of Israel, (he is the God,) which is in Jerusalem.”

In spite of Cyrus’ decree to rebuild the temple in Jerusalem, Cambyses stopped the work. However, his successor king Darius established his own personal decree in the second year of his reign. Darius’ decree regarding the temple is the first to reinforce and support Cyrus’ decree. Just as in Cyrus’ decree, the commandment of king Darius dealt only with the temple. Ezra 6:7-12 records the words of Darius as follows:

“Let the work of this house of God alone; let the governor of the Jews and the elders of the Jews build this house of God in his place. (8) Moreover I make a decree what ye shall do to the elders of these Jews for the building of this house of God: that of the king's goods, even of the tribute beyond the river, forthwith expenses be given unto these men, that they be not hindered. (9) And that which they have need of, both young bullocks, and rams, and lambs, for the burnt offerings of the God of heaven, wheat, salt, wine, and oil, according to the appointment of the priests which are at Jerusalem, let it be given them day by day without fail: (10) That they may offer sacrifices of sweet savours unto the God of heaven, and pray for the life of the king, and of his sons. (11) Also I have made a decree, that whosoever shall alter this word, let timber be pulled down from his house, and being set up, let him be hanged thereon; and let his house be made a dunghill for this. (12) And the God that hath caused his name to dwell there destroy all kings and people, that shall put to their hand to alter and to destroy this house of God which is at Jerusalem. I Darius have made a decree; let it be done with speed.”

Though Cyrus and Darius provided the commandments to rebuild the temple in Jerusalem, it was actually king Artaxerxes I Longimanus, a successor of king Darius, who provided the decree and commandment to restore and build the city of Jerusalem.

Artaxerxes I began his reign as the king of Persia in 465 BC. Up until this moment in time and according to the information given in Nehemiah 1:3-4, Nehemiah 2:3 and Nehemiah 7:4, it is clear that the city was not yet rebuilt:

Nehemiah 1:3-4 “And they said unto me, The remnant that are left of the captivity there in the province are in great affliction and reproach: the wall of Jerusalem also is broken down, and the gates thereof are burned with fire. And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven.”
Nehemiah 2:3 “And said unto the king, Let the king live for ever: why should not my countenance be sad, when the city, the place of my fathers' sepulchres, lieth waste, and the gates thereof are consumed with fire?"
Nehemiah 7:4 “Now the city was large and great: but the people were few therein, and the houses were not builded.”
According to Nehemiah 2:1-8, in the month of Nisan in the twentieth year of his reign, king Artaxerxes I Longimanus established his decree to restore and build Jerusalem. Since history records that Artaxerxes began his reign in 465 BC, this commandment took place in Nisan 445 BC:

“And it came to pass in the month Nisan, in the twentieth year of Artaxerxes the king, that wine was before him: and I took up the wine, and gave it unto the king. Now I had not been beforetime sad in his presence. (2) Wherefore the king said unto me, Why is thy countenance sad, seeing thou art not sick? this is nothing else but sorrow of heart. Then I was very sore afraid, (3) And said unto the king, Let the king live for ever: why should not my countenance be sad, when the city, the place of my fathers' sepulchres, lieth waste, and the gates thereof are consumed with fire? (4) Then the king said unto me, For what dost thou make request? So I prayed to the God of heaven. (5) And I said unto the king, If it please the king, and if thy servant have found favour in thy sight, that thou wouldest send me unto Judah, unto the city of my fathers' sepulchres, that I may build it. (6) And the king said unto me, (the queen also sitting by him,) For how long shall thy journey be? and when wilt thou re turn? So it pleased the king to send me; and I set him a time. (7) Moreover I said unto the king, If it please the king, let letters be given me to the governors beyond the river, that they may convey me over till I come into Judah; (8) And a letter unto Asaph the keeper of the king's forest, that he may give me timber to make beams for the gates of the palace which appertained to the house, and for the wall of the city, and for the house that I shall enter into. And the king granted me, according to the good hand of my God upon me.”

In this passage, Nehemiah indicates to Artaxerxes that he was saddened by the fact that the city and the gates of Jerusalem remained in ruins (verse 3). He requested that the king grant him permission to rebuild Jerusalem and the gates of the city (verse 4-5). According to verse 8, Artaxerxes granted Nehemiah’s request with an official letter sent to Asaph, the keeper of the king’s forest, for materials needed to make beams for the gates and the walls of the city.

According to Daniel 9:25, Gabriel proclaimed that the “commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks," a total of sixty-nine weeks of years, or 483 years. Therefore, since Artaxerxes provided the specific decree to restore and to build Jerusalem in the month of Nisan in 445 BC, it was at this precise moment in history at which the countdown to the Messiah began. In addition, this month of Nisan (March/April) in 445 BC begins the seventy weeks or 490 years indicated in Daniel 9:24-26.

Yes you right.
But the decree sent forth to rebuild the temple happened in Artaxes 1 time about 450 BC.
In the prophecy of Daniel when the Angel tells Daniel that from the time of setting forth the decree to rebuild the temple--- this did not happen yet( in Daniel time).
As you know Ezra and Nehemia could not even build a wall for the city . The temple was not built till Araxes gave an order around 450.
Do from Araxes order till Jesus time 32AD is How many years?
in the week after Jesus departure the Probation period ended and the persecution of jews started ( read Josephus) which culminated in the massacre of Jerusalem in 70 AD and the killing of 2 million pilgrims there.
So the punishment was AFTER the rejection of the Messiah Jesus, by the Prince who will to come (Roman Titus)

What? Only four or five years left? I missed the (pre-trib) rapture?
Stephen
Not true. The decree of 445 B.C. to rebuild the city of Jerusalem (not the temple) is the start date of the 70 weeks of years. Read Daniel chapter 9.

And you have not missed anything ..... yet. No one knows when the Lord will intervene to keep His promise ..... the time is still pending.

No, you did not miss the Rapture. What is happening with the numbers are just TYPES; the very fact that these numbers seem to multiply as of late is just another sign that we are approaching the Rapture.
Believe me, the Rapture has not happened yet.

How come only some guy in recent years discovered about the rapture story 2000 years after the scripture.
The tribulations are between now and 2012, jesus called it times of sorrows, there is nothing you can prepare and there is no rapture. I think you ll have to go through the tribulations, all of us

the decree was for both the temple and the city. at any case the temple was indeed built after this decree not before that. so you start counting thew seventy weeks from that date. Jesus in the 69 week and a week after that (39 AD) the start of the tribulations ending with the destruction in 70 AD
Stephen
If you want to understand correctly you must know that it was the decree to return and rebuild the city of Jerusalem only. You are not reading Daniel 9:25. Your position sound's like preterism which states that all of the 70th week events took place in the past including the Lord's second coming. This is false teaching.

I would also suggest that you read and compare the historical record of the events of 70 A.D. with Zechariah 12,13,14. They do not match. Zechariah's visions of the 70th week are still future events to come.

Nobody is questioning the second coming. and the prophecy of Daniel does not rule out the second coming at all.

The angel tells Daniel "and from the day the order to rebuild the temple to the coming of the christ is 490 years" the order did not happen yet when the angel is talking to the prophet but was going to happen after 50 years after the death of daniel.
and in the Daniel prophecy of Daniel itself it says that the messiah will be cut off but not by himself (ie he will not die in a normal way, which denotes he will eventually come back/
Stephen
The Lord will intervene and execute the events of the 70th week decreed for national Israel. He has intentionally delayed His intervention until the "fullness" of the Gentiles has been added to the Body of Christ. This "adding" is still in progress today, but He will cut it off suddenly and the 70th week decreed for national Israel and of His trial and judgments of an unbelieving world will begin ..... without warning. No one knows the date of His intervention. The adding of the Gentiles to the Body of Christ has continued from the first century ..... a very long time lapse. And this time frame is positioned between the end of the 69th week (ending in about 33 A.D.) and the 70th which is still future.

There are no 1290 or 1335 years mentioned in Daniel. The days mentioned in Daniel are indeed days. Not years. And Tamid does not mean "Temple Sacrefice". It means the perpetual sacrefice. The only thing that you got right was that it is taken away by God. Through His hosts. The two witnesses of revelation 11. That 1290 days begins next summer. There are two different terms for a Day in prophecies from Angels: Ywm means a day ( for the angel) that is a Year for humans and GRB means SUNSET that is a Day for humans.

The prophecy of Daniel 12:12 was an answer from the Angel to the question from Daniel ( when are all these things are going to happen?) (ie the battle of the antichrist with the christ and the day of judgement thereafter) and the anwer from the angel ( don't worry about that it will happen a very long time from now,.... but I will give you a hint: from the time the Tamid is lifted up by God till the abominable fall is 1290 days).
The angel won't give Daniel an answer of a few hundred DAYS after 2500 years, that does not make no sense and it is no hint after all.
In the bible it is explained by the angels that YWM means a year.

Is that the Aramaic or Hebrew or Greek or Nisqualli languages. If there were any autographs of the book of Daniel in ancient Hebrew, the word would be ~wy or transliterated Yowm. The transliterated word is a cross into Latin so I don't think the Angel spoke Latin to a Hebrew man in 595BC . Plus the fact that there were no available ancient Hebrew texts of the book of Daniel until around 1000AD and again with the discovery of the dead sea scrolls in 1947.

Stephen,

You seem to be a very knowledgeable man and I believe the Holy Spirit is working through you. However you are mistaken in your beliefs. First there were 4 decrees written by Persian Kings. Now knowing how God uses numbers, which decree do you believe would be the correct one... the first one from Cyrus, the second one from Darius, the third one from Artaxerxes to Ezra or the 4th one from Artaxerxes to Nehemiah? Well we know from your post that you believe it was the 4th which when converting 483 prophetic years incorrectly (360/365.25) gets you to another incorrect belief... the year 32 A.D. (which the Passover was not on a Saturday... a Sabbath in that year) as the year of death of our Lord. This calculation actually gets you to the year 33 A.D.! However, the correct one was the 3rd one. Dr. Walvoord was also incorrect in this starting point and he knew Christ died in 33 A.D.

The NIV mentions no "Wall" in its translation of Daniel's Seventy Weeks ('Sevens')... this is a KJV translation is it not? If you read Ezra 4:12 you will find out the Jews had been trying to restore the wall long before the decree to Nehemiah in the month of Nisan in 445 B.C. (which is the correct time for this decree). This work was stopped until King Artaxeres could sort this out (Ezra 4:6-16). Ezra's decree allowed him to do whatever he deemed neccessary (Ezra 7:18) to aid the Jews in Jerusalem... rebuild streets, walls, trenches, work on the Temple, etc. We know from the book of Nehemiah that when he arrives in Jerusalem he is not happy with what he sees when he inspects the wall... in another words the rebuilding of the city it is not where is should be. He obviously expected more should had been done and word that is had not (Nehemiah 1:1-3) troubled him. He had to know Ezra had went there with a great caravan 13 years earlier to aid the Jews.

Counting 483 prophetic years correctly (483 x 365.25/360) from Ezra's decree in Nisan 458 B.C. (gets you exactly to the death (cut off) of Christ on Friday, April 3, 33 B.C... to the very day!

Thanks for the information,

But I was quoting Daniel 9 and not 8 and 12. But I can tell that your "hidden" meaning is that Christ will return in 2012 is that not so?

677 + 1290 = 1967 &
677 + 1335 = 2012

Now since you are well versed in Daniel, the anitchrist would have signed a covenant (treaty) with Israel and others in 2005... is that not so? And he will break it mid way in 2009.... Is this what you are really saying? I like your thoughts by the way... did you know that 677/678 was the 665th Sabbath from Adam and that the year 678/679 was a Jubilee year... and as best I can determine the real date for the start of the construction of the Dome of the Rock was 685... or the 666th Sabbath from Adam. Clearly the construction of the Dome of the Rock was an Abomination... but I am curious of your source for the 677 date and I clearly don't agree with 2012 because that would mean I am not a Christian and I didn't recognize who the anitchrist is.

Thanks for listening and God Bless you because I may not sound like I agree with you and I don't know anything about the hebrew language and I have been searching for evidence that these may be years... but I believe if they are, then they are prophetic (360 day) years" and need to be adjusted.... and if the real date of the Dome of the Rock was 670 AD, then I could really believe these are years.

Blessings to you and your family

yes jesus will return in 2012.
you might have missed my point:
from the raising away of the animal sacrifice in front of the Holy of Holies ( date 677 AD when the Dome of the Rock was established but without sacrifice requirement-----till-----the day the Holy of Holies fall in the hand of abominable people 1967 AD, the year the Magogites (impostering as israelites) occupied the Dome of the Rock( same as Holy of Holies) is 1290 years ( so 1967 is bad news)
Good relief to who wait patiently another 45 years ( 1335 years) ie 2012 AD ( this is the year of the abomination on the Holy of Holies (israeli occupation) is finished ( ie by Jesus Christ after he kills the antichrist.
Hope this more details will help!

Jews measured calender by Lunar months, where feasts fall in different solar days year after year, but Year in prophecy still means (solar year). It is easy to count solar years year after year ( mark Spring for example as a new year!).
Just go to www.blueletterbible.org and go to the Daniel 12:12 and then press on the botton C and the hebrew words will come up one by one and then click on the word that says (year) it will bring you to a new page for that word:
at the top of the page you read the pronunciation in English=Yawm) and the Lexicon dictionary at the bottom will explain what that hebrew word means.
and then go to other verses and do the same, you see that another word is used for Day ( GRB not Yawm) and Grb means sun set ( sun set can never possibly mean a year!: 10 sunsets means 10 days firm).
You don't need to know hebrw tp navigate that website.
adnanmuf
antichrist will declare himself between now and 2012!
I don't know about the seven year treaty? where you got it from ie what verse in the bible? if you mean The 70 weeks of years prophecy and the last week when the Christ is raised up !( this already happened in 32 AD when Jesus was raised up in the middle of the last week and the persecution of jews started in Jerusalem by the romans culminating in 70 AD destrcution of Jerusalem.
If you are refering to Daniel 11 this already happened too! It was the Greek tyrant who abominated the temple for 2 years and a half by slaughtering pigs in the temple and putting his statues there, he was assasinated by his generals in the Bath, and the Maccabi jews revolted and liberated Jerusalem from The Greek ( the Hanokah festival)
If you are referring to revelation, I don't think there is a breaking of a seven year treaty in its middle!
adnanmuf
a jubilee ( of God) happens every sevnty weeks of years (490 years).
a jubilee of jews happens every 50 years ( when debts are forgiven)

According to Enoch and Dead Sea Scrolls the Man life on earth is a 7 weeks of times where time is 1000 years.
Hence Jesus came at the end of time ( just 2000 years before the end), while Adam came to Earth 50 thousand years ago!
The recent DNA studies revealed that Y DNA can not go back more than fifty thousand years.
The Neanderthal bones revealed it was not a human but some kind of ape (not related to humans and does not share the Y DNA mutations)!!, so yes we did not descend from apes nor we were here million years ago (just fifty thousand years ago was the first man who landed in south Sudan Africa!
Why? south sudan, you ask?
because all humans where ever they are have 10% of their junk DNA from the Tsi Tsi fly which lives only in South sudan ( thebirth of the nile), so even a person from the Eskimo have the signature of Tsi Tsi fly, which was encypted in his DNA that he inherited from his ancestors back to Adam, and since Adam and the first few thousand years after him lived in south sudan, they got bitten trillions of times by the Tsi Tsi fly and caused them sickness and the fly spew its DNA through the blood all the way to the DNA.
Since All humans on the earth have the 10% Tsi Tsi DNA in their DNA then they all lived in south sudan once upon a time ( or their ancestors! Adam)
WayWord
The possible connection between the Dome of the Rock and Daniel 12:11-12 occurred to me back in 2002. However, 687 would seem to be the better date to work with. (Unless you can provide a source for 677.)

"At this hallowed site, known in Arabic as Haram al Sharif, the 9th Caliph, Abd al-Malik, built the great Dome of the Rock between 687 and 691."
http://www.sacredsites.com/middle_east/israel/jerusalem.html

687 + 1290 = 1977

687 + 1335 = 2022

This is rather interesting because of the festivals in the month of Tishri, the seventh (7th) month of the Hebrew calendar

Tishri 1 - The Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah)

Tishri 10 - The Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur)

Tishri 15-22 - The Feast of Tabernacles/Booths (Hag Sukkot)

See Leviticus ch. 23:23-44

But I agree that Yahshua fulfilled Daniel 9:24-27. The prophecies and time period of Revelation are not limited to a seven day period.

Letter dated 5 October 1977 from the Permanent Representative of the

to the Secretary-General

In my capacity as the current Chairman of the Islamic Group, I have the honour to transmit to you herewith the text of the final communique of the extraordinary meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Islamic Conference, held in New York on 3 October 1977.

9. The meeting took a most ominous view of the uncontested fact that the Israelis are assiduously digging right under the al-Haram al-Shareef sanctuary, including the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Dome of the Rock and all the adjacent buildings, mosques, holy shrines, schools and historical places more than a millennium old. The said diggings assume even more ominous implications, since they represent a vain, desperate and misguided effort to find dome remains of the temple, which they plan to build on a ruined Aqsa Mosque, of the Dome of the Rock.

10. The Conference, which represents 600 million to 700 million adherents of the Islamic faith, and while fully cognizant of their religion's acknowledgement, liberal, tolerant and respectful attitude towards Judaism and other faiths, feels impelled to serve notice that they will not countenance the desecration and eventual destruction of their Holy places in Jerusalem.

11. The Conference, likewise, deems it necessary to assert firmly and categorically that the Islamic World rejects and would not indefinitely tolerate the continued occupation by Israel of the Palestinian and Arab territories, including Jerusalem, and the continued obstruction of Muslim pilgrims to Mecca and Medina, who for centuries have been completing their pilgrimage by visiting Jerusalem and praying at the Aqsa Mosque - their first Qubla and the site of the ascension of their prophet Muhammad (upon whom be peace).

Reading through most of these posts there were several minor errors made, but most of what has been said, I think, shows good insight.

1. Nehemiah's decree is the third decree, not the fourth. The fourth was in 458 BC with Ezra.

2. Ezra's decree does not necessarily demand a AD 33 crucifixion date because the terminus ends after 483 years, or plus 3.5 years more, or plus 3.5 more years more again, a total of 490 years. (I do no think I have to explain that since it seems the posters here have a solid grasp on Daniel 9.) 490 years takes one to the AD 33 point. 486.5 years to AD 30, and 483 to AD 26. Most scholars are divided as to whether the crucifixion was in AD 30 or AD 33 (calculated by a Friday full Passover moon.) Interesting, both dates fit well into the scheme, since if Christ began his ministry at "about 30 years of age" (with his birth in c. 5 BC) then His ministry would have begun in the fall of AD 26, etc. The point is, both AD 30 and AD 33 fit very well. Nehemiah's decree requires the 444 BC starting point to AD 33 using an unadjusted 360-day year. Nehemiah's decree is a weaker argument numerically, but stronger contextually. I personally see it as God's way of saying that both decrees are correct. Why not two or three numerical witnesses to the time of Messiah?

3. It is interesting that the average of all four decrees is 490 BC. (The number in Daniel 9.) (Why not four witnesses like the four Gospels?)

4. That 1290 or 1335 can be in years as well as days in best argued by other means than the Hebrew. For example, is the seventy weeks of Daniel literally "weeks" or seven-year periods? If it is literally "weeks" then this whole thread and its prophecy is muted. If it is indeed seven-year periods, then why can't days represent years in other parts of the book of Daniel as well here? (See Ezekiel 4.) Or do we go back to the Hebrew and the idea that a "week" can represent heptads? But that argument is weaker then the yom and gbr argument. I personally believe it is both days and years, the one intersecting the other.
And thus, 1260 days of the two witnesses of Rev. 11, plus 3.5 days for them "to rise again", in turn, interestingly (and coincidentally?) converts back to 1260 years plus 3.5 days (1260 days)!

5. A jubilee is 49 years, with the 50th a jubilee year. Thus there are ten jubilees in 490 years.

The Jubilee System:

The bible says that the jubilee cycles began from the time that Israel (Jacob's descendents) entered the land of Canaan in 1406 BC, (Lev. 25:2). However, God intended that the seventh-year Sabbath cycles begin 40 years earlier, that is, just after the exodus from Egypt in 1446 BC. (Note: Israel kept both seventh-day Sabbaths and seventh-year Sabbaths.) But Israel rebelled and instead wandered in the wilderness 40 years. When studying the jubilee system, it is imperative to study it both from when God desired Israel to enter the land and from when they actually did 40 years later. The reason is that God will ultimately hold Israel to account for all its missing Sabbaths including those of the wilderness wandering. God will reckon the missing Sabbath-years from when they rebelled shortly after the exodus and not merely from when they finally entered entered the promised land. This will become increasingly evident as we study the numeric revealed in the Bible about the missing Sabbaths. Therefore, although Israel kept track of its Sabbaths and jubilees from the time of the conquest in 1406 BC (as commanded), yet God kept track of them according to the plan that He originally intended, because when it came time to judge Israel for its ongoing rebellion He also included the 40 years of rebellion in the wilderness. And so "the land enjoyed its missing Sabbath rests" as calculated from the very day that God intended it to rest. For the land did not rest during those 40 years of rebellion between 1446 and 1406 BC because the Canaanites still ruled the land. (See endnote 1 for more on why the 40-year desert wandering is to be included in the time that the land should have had its rest.)

A jubilee was simply seven cycles of seven years, with the 50th year being the jubilee year, but not so as to break the on-going seven-year Sabbaths. Ten jubilee amount to 490 years, not 500. Leviticus 25 makes this absolutely certain when it talks about the "9th year". The text makes it clear that both the seventh" and "eighth" year are to be Sabbath years during a jubilee year. This would not be so if the regular seven-year Sabbath cycles did not stay in synchronization with the jubilee cycles of 49 years. The 49th year would not always be a Sabbath year in that case, only the 50th year would then be a Sabbath during a jubilee cycle. But God promised to bless the "sixth year" with enough of a harvest to last "three years" so that there would be no need to reap in the "seventh year" (that is the regular Sabbath year of the ongoing seven-year Sabbaths), and in the "eight year" too. But in the "ninth year" they would reap again as normal. Thus it is crystal clear that a jubilees are in 49-year cycles in synchronization with the regular Sabbath years. On a practical note, God is not the author of confusion, and if jubilee cycles and regular Sabbath-year cycles were kept out of synchronization then the whole system would be confusing for common farmers to keep track of.

Lev. 25:3-4 Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruits thereof; but in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of solemn rest for the land, a sabbath unto Jehovah: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.
Lev. 25:8 And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and there shall be unto thee the days of seven sabbaths of years, even forty and nine years.
Lev. 25:20-22 And if ye shall say, What shall we eat the seventh year? Behold, we shall not sow, nor gather in our increase; then I will command my blessing upon you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for the three years. And ye shall sow the eighth year, and eat of the fruits, the old store; until the ninth year, until its fruits come in, ye shall eat the old store.

The 490-Years of Daniel's Prophecy

Also the 490 years (or days) of the prophecy in Daniel 9 is broken down as units of "seven-times-seven" days or years (49) x ten (= 490), and is also made up of seven and seventy-year units. The last seven years of the 490 years is also highlighted by the prophecy as 483 years plus seven. (Recall the 483 years from Jacob to the exodus.) These are the same kind of time frames to do with the jubilee cycles given by God to Moses on Mount Sinai (Lev. 25). Thus, the prophecy of Daniel's "seventy weeks" is borrowing from the language of the jubilee system as explained in Lev. 25. The context of the prophecy in Daniel 9 itself makes this connection certain, for the prophecy came to Daniel upon completion of the 70 missing Sabbath years as earlier prophesied by the prophet Jeremiah. The prophecy of Daniel 9, therefore, simply reveals further numeric details concerning Jeremiahs prophecy about these missing Sabbaths.

Dan 9:2 in the first year of his reign I, Daniel, understood by the books the number of the years whereof the word of Jehovah came to Jeremiah the prophet, for the accomplishing of the desolations of Jerusalem, even seventy years.
Dan 9:24 Seventy weeks (of years) are apportioned out upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to close the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make expiation for iniquity, and to bring in the righteousness of the ages, and to seal the vision and prophet, and to anoint the holy of holies.
Dan 9:25 Know therefore and understand: From the going forth of the word to restore and to build Jerusalem unto Messiah, the Prince, are seven weeks, and sixty-two weeks. The street and the moat shall be built again, even in troublous times.
Dan 9:26 And after the sixty-two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, and shall have nothing; and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with an overflow, and unto the end, war, --the desolations determined.
Dan 9:27 And he shall confirm a covenant with the many for one week; and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and because of the protection of abominations there shall be a desolator, even until that the consumption and what is determined shall be poured out upon the desolate.

I think the best way to look at sabbath years is this way:

the time for GODs work is 7000 years

so the first sabbath year is the year 7

1001
2002
3003
4004---------->year 0 sy
year 4074 --------> year 70 second temple destroyed --->sy
5005
6006
7000 are sy

490years
5 x 490years =1960
+7 1967 Jerusalem delivered

1960+49 = 2009 --sy

sy always overlaps 2 western standart years so sy 1967 is 1966/67

2008/2009 is sy

the question is will the seven tribulation years be added to the 49 years cycle from 1960?

psalm 90 the live time for man after the fleed 70 years when high 80 years

1948 + 70 = 2018 ---> in range of 2008/2009 and also 2015/2016

1948 + 80 = 2028 ---> in range of 2022/23 but 2029/2030 is just outside the range

from 4bc to 1996 2000 years are over as all started 4004 bc

JC was not working for HIS FATHER till 12 years old so this had to be added

1996 + 12 = 2008/2009 sy

so are the tribulation the end of the 2000 years for the gentils or added

is judgement added or part?

I just finished reading Daniel this morning and I had this exact same thought.

QUOTE
in Daniel 12:12 it says:
And its time is from the Tamid (temple sacrifice) is taken away(by God) till the desolation of abomination (fall of temple in hand of abominable people) is 1290 years. Glad he who be patient till the year 1335.
in 677 AD the Dome of the Rock was built and no sacrifice was made like ancient times.
in 1967 East Jerusalem fell in the hand of Ashkenazi jews (magog), year 1335 is 2012 time of jesus return to settle every thing up.

My thought as I read Daniel was that Jerusalem returned to God's people in 1967 the culmination of 1290 years, which would mean blessed is he who makes it to 2012. That was just my thought, interesting times indeed.

Daniel has the time frame make-up for the time of the end as follows: 1,260 + 1,260 + 30 + 45. These are days ..... not years. This time frame is still in the future and the start date has not been revealed. No one can know when the Lord will bring this period into play. The 483 years of the 69 weeks of years decreed for Israel [starting in 445 B.C.] transpired around 33 A.D.. The beginning of the one 7' [the 70th week] is still pending and it will include an additional 30 days and 45 days for the destruction of satan's beast and followers and the gathering of the mortal survivors of the tribulation period respectively. Then the Lord's millennial kingdom will begin.

How the events unfold...
July 11th 2009, the two witnesses are given power to prophesy.
19th December 2012, they are killed.
21st December, there is no night, only day.
22nd Decembe 2012, the spirit of Jesus Returns, in the same way he leaves, he appears in the body of the lamb and is killed.
The lamb goes up to heaven and oens the seals of judgement, included in these seals is the ressurection of the dead.
Also 3 days of darkness. And a heap of stuff goes down on earth as Satan is cast in wrath.
25th December 2012, The lamb is complete in his work in heaven, and stands upon the Mount Zion with his saints.
He establishes his kingdom there and an epic battle between good and evil begins, which leads to the Battle of Armegeddon and Satan cast into hell.

I am working on the smaller details and adding mroe each day, however the overall picture is very clear.
The date 22nd December was shown to me in a sign, and the rest is come to me by further research upon what was shown. I always welcome constructive help.
God bless.

Pretty funny stuff.
Does anyone actually believe any of this?

Not to believe. Date setting is human manipulation and merely fortune telling .... guessing, spinning the wheel. No one knows the time of the beginning of the Lord's coming judgment. Only after the start will the events of the scriptures and time lapse play out exactly as recorded.

Not to believe. Date setting is human manipulation and merely fortune telling .... guessing, spinning the wheel. No one knows the time of the beginning of the Lord's coming judgment. Only after the start will the events of the scriptures and time lapse play out exactly as recorded.

Daniel 12:8-10 says:

" I heard, but I did not understand. So I asked, "My Lord, what will the outcome of all this be? He replied, Go your way, Daniel because the words are closed up and sealed UNTIL the time of the end. Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand."

This was the answer to all that was shown to Daniel in chapters 10-12. That this prophecy from the time of the Persian Empire until Christ's return, would be understood by only the wise at the time of the end. How long would it take for all this to take place? The answer, "Time, Times and half a Time." So if we knew what this meant exactly we would know when Christ would return... and if we knew when Christ would return, then we would know when the covenant for one 'week' spoken of in chapter 9 would be confirmed. Is understanding what God told Daniel fortune telling.... guessing, spinning the wheel? No! Are those who use other methods to predict the coming of our Lord (like Mayan calendar crap) guessing, fortune telling, etc. for making wrong predictions? Yes! They are just as unwise as those who say it can't be done. Both have logs in their eyes and are blinded by the truth.

Daniel's prophecy of the "Seventy Weeks"... the seventy 'sevens'... the seventy 'heptades' is true on mulitple levels. On the deepest level they are Jubilee years. God tells Daniel seven things that will be finished at the end of 70 weeks in Chapter 9 ... Jewish transgressions will be finished, sin will end, atonement for wickedness, everlasting righteousness, vision will be sealed up, prophecy will be sealed up and the anointing of the most holy (the new Jerusalem... the new heaven and earth) will take place. Will this happen when Christ returns? No! We are told in many old testament prophecies how it will be when Christ comes back and rules on earth. There will still be sin... just much less of it with Christ ruling and Satan bound for 1,000 prophetic years. Zechariah 14 says, Christ will inflict plagues on those nations that do not listen to Him while He is in charge. If there is no sin when Christ returns, then there will be no need to punish those who do not obey.

This prophecy is really a prophecy that gives us the time when Heaven and earth will be remade. And if we know this time then we can know all the times neccessary to know the time of Christ's return! There were 4 decrees written by Persian Kings as I have stated before on the forum and the one to Ezra in 458 B.C. is the 3rd and the correct one. Nehemiah's decree was in 445 B.C. and 13 years later than Ezra's. I have shown on this forum that using this date predicts the exact day of Christ's death - April 3rd, 33 A.D. This is proof that this decree is the one spoken of to Daniel. So how far is 70 Jubilees into the future when the new Jerusalem will decend to earth? 3,500 (70 times 50) years into the future or the spring of 3043 A.D. How long is the Millennial Kingdom? 1,000 "prophetic" years... that is to say 360-day years as opposed to 365.25-days. Just as the times in Revelation (1,260 days) are 360-day years so too are the 1,000 years... and so too are the other times in Daniel! So 1,000 "prophetic" years are really 1,000 years plus 14 years plus 7 months exactly (1,000 x 365.25 /360)! A most curious use of numbers. Remember Revelation does not say there will be 1,000 years of Christ's rule and then there will be a new Heaven and a new earth... it says that after 1,000 years Satan will be release for a short time (more time than 1,000 years) before the final judgment and then God will remake the Heavens and the earth.

So when will Christ return... 3043 A.D. - 1,014.58333 or the fall of the year 2028 A.D.! When will the covenant be confirmed? Seven "prophetic" years earlier (1 'week')... 2021 A.D. Now I can hear the wheels turning from those who support a Jubilee year is 49 year instead of 50. Let's use the same logic using their false understanding. 49 times 70 equals 3,430 years. Adding this to our starting date brings us to the end date of 2973 A.D. and subtracting 1,000 years (1973 A.D.) or 1,000 "prophetic" years (1958 A.D.) yeilds dates for Christ's return that have come and gone! I can hear them now crying foul. They will say my understanding of the complete prophecy of the "Seventy Sevens" must not be correct... yet they have no understanding themselves. Let the wise judge for themselves... test what I wrote says the Lord. Maybe they wish to argue that Nehemiah's decree is the right one as some incorrectly do. This would change the dates by 13 years into the future... 1971 and 1986... again both dates have come and gone. God is not using both decrees as some might write as evidence of His use of numbers (although His use of numbers is truely incredible)... God told Daniel of only "one" decree to use and therefore only one is the true one!!

Psalm 90 tells us a day is like a 1,000 years to the Lord, but it also says in verse 10... "the length of our days is seventy years--or eighty, if we have the strength". Matthew wrote in Chapter 24 that the generation that sees the sign of the Jews return to Israel will see the return of Christ... this happened in May, 1948. 1948 plus 80 equals 2028 A.D. I told you at the begining that if we knew what the phrase "Time. Times, and 1/2 a Time" meant we would know when Christ would return. Well if you understand how God uses numbers then do know for Time equals 700 "prophectic" years exactly! So "Time (700), Times (1,400) an 1/2 a Time (350) equals 2,450 "prophetic" years and 2,450 "prophetic" years equals 2,485.73 years (2,450 x 365.25/360). I bet you now know when you add this length of time to our starting time of 458 B.C. you get to the autumn of the year 2028 A.D.

How many times must a person with a hardened heart be shown before they can believe? It took Pharaoh ten times. I have shown you three times... three independent ways supported by scripture and not the things of this world. Do you really need more... Like the year 2028/2029 is a Jublilee year... the 40th from when Christ started His ministry and the 50th from Ezra's decree... or that it will be just short of 2,000 years from when Christ started His ministry in the 15th year of Tiberius Caesar (29 A.D.)... "cut short" from reaching the 2,000 years as Christ says in Matthew 24 or else all life would perish. If you really need 10 or more to believe, then write me at christsreturn2028@yahoo.com and I will show you what the Lord has shown me.

Those that are wise and "keep watch" will know the truth of what I have written. God bless you all and may the light of Christ open your eyes to the knowledge of His return.

Andrew,

I see that you are knowledgeable with some end-time timing from Revelation. But using Satan's methods (mixing truths with untruths) by using the Mayan dating frenzy going around as your basis is not the work of the Holy Spirit. Those Christians that know the word do not take you seriously even though you are following Christ's command to "keep watch" and be ready at all times for our Lord's return... something many of them do not do. We see the splinter in your eye, but not the log in ours. By putting this stuff on the internet you only become a tool to propagate lies to those weak or new Christians that do not know the Word, or worse yet, to unbelievers who are trying to find the truth of Christ. Now I appoligize if I misunderstood what you wrote and you can show me in scripture where the December 2012 date you use came from. I am somewhat knowledgeable with scripture, but I am unaware of this time or date or how to determine it.

God bless you and may the Holy Spirit help you to find the true knowledge you seek so that you may help those that do not believe in Christ to find Him in these last years.

DaDad,

My memory is bad, but don't you support a similar timeline for Christ's return or am I getting you mixed up with some one else on this forum since I have not been on it for months and vowed never to come back because the admisnistrators censored my login ID. But for some reason I visited today and cannot restrain myself from rebuking those that believe the date of our Lord's return is unknownable. I now the details are all wrong on Mr. Cross' timeline and Christ will not return to die again so He will be resurrected again... and other things are in error, but are you not thinking He will return even before 2012? Please let me know if I have mis-spoken. Thanks.

I believe you have a good grasp of the times for the the tribulation period, although most know I do not support the idea of the starting point of Nehemiah's decree nor that one cannot ever know the time for our Lord's return. Let me add a few comments to your understanding of the timeline you write about... 1,260 + 1,260 + 30 + 45 or 2595 days total. Now Revelation does not say there is two 1,260 day periods, but one period of 1,260 days (mentioned twice and also mentioned as "time, times and 1/2 a time") + 3.5 days + 42 months and then Christ will return. Now I agree that the 42 months are 1,260 days as you show them, but we see there is some "amount of time" between the first half of the tribulation and the second half.

So humor me and let me adjust your understanding some to allow for this minor point... 1,260 + 30 + 1,260 + 45. Now this rearrangement still allows for the 1,290 and 1,335 days of Daniel to be the same as yours except now there is only 45 days between when Christ returns until we enter the Millennial Kingdom instead of 75 days with no understanding what is to happen between the 30 and 45 as you list them. Also, the 3.5 days can now be explained within the 30 days... although I do not believe this is the right understanding, just closer to the right understanding.

Let's continue. I have shown that Daniel's weeks are "prophetic" times on the lowest level of understanding and in fact all times are prophetic that are listed in Daniel and Revelation. This proof was shown that using Ezra's decree and 69 prophetic weeks (360-days) gets us to Christ's death to the very day! So if this understanding is correct, even though some are still skeptical, then I will show further proof. Daniel's missing, unfulfilled week is not 7 years, but 7 "prophetic" years. So 7 x 365.25/360 = 7.1020833 years or 2,594.0359 days (7.1020833 x 365.25)... real days. And since decimal potions of days really mean hours into the next day we see that the time is really 2,595 days! Does this number look familar? It should since we have already calculated using an understanding of Daniel and Revelation that comes to the exact number of days for the same time period (1,260 + 1,335). Is this another coincidence or evidence of God's power?

This is not the end of the story for the tribulation timeframe, but only the beginning. All these times need to be converted from prophetic times to real times to get the true picture of what the antichrist and God has in store for mankind. Because the real time is not 7 years or even 7 prophetic years, but 10 years exactly! Why because the number of completion is 10.

The rest of this information will take more time to explain and that will have to wait for another time and another post. If you cannot wait, contact me... christsreturn2028@yahoo.com

Wow, so I stumbled across this thread, and it's been going on for several months now.

So let me get this straight.

You guys are predicting that Jesus will return by 2012?

That's awesome.

Only < 4 more years until the entire planet converts to the same religion: Christianity.

Nice.

Not true. The decree of 445 B.C. to rebuild the city of Jerusalem (not the temple) is the start date of the 70 weeks of years. Read Daniel chapter 9.

And you have not missed anything ..... yet. No one knows when the Lord will intervene to keep His promise ..... the time is still pending.

the decree was for both the temple and the city. at any case the temple was indeed built after this decree not before that. so you start counting thew seventy weeks from that date. Jesus in the 69 week and a week after that (39 AD) the start of the tribulations ending with the destruction in 70 AD

What day of the week was the Passover in 32 AD? Was any decree issued in 452 BC? (32 AD - 483 years = 452 BC) Please cite source of this year for the decree.
