3 years ago, my husband bought a car and the seller lied about everything pertaining to that car.
My husband has been working ever since on it, utilizing some of our meager funds to change and repair what needs to be done.

All in all, we lost money on it. Now the car is ready to sell and we need to sell it as soon as possible.
It is a Mazda Protege...

Please pray so that God would send someone a.s.a.p. who is interested by our car, because we have some bills to pay that won't wait. The price is right and my husband cleaned it in and out; he is particular and a perfectionist!

Have you placed an ad on the craigslist? It's free too. Don't know what city you're in, but craigslist is in most.

My husband is depressed because we are really in a dead end (so it seems!); what is hard is I am just weeks from collecting from a book I wrote; I worked hard on it; I really did, considering that I never wrote a book before (yes, I am Senteami3 ; much less in English (since I am French), and much less because it talks about the Bible and end times. I am a newbie, so-to-say, plus it involved numbers and I flunked 1 year at school because of maths, if you see what I mean...

so it's been extremely hard; all the 4 1/2 years spent on this book, without pay... so I am kinda "empty"!
and my hubby is not getting any younger (he is 69 and I am 47).

Speaking of "empty", I just feel I gave birth to a very big baby!

Actually, God used my little car for a series of signs when at the same time he showed me the Balance Bible Code about God carrying us over the rough times in our lives, as based upon Isaiah 46. I can't explain the connection here and now, but as I ride in that car, God reminds me that He has promised to carry me just as that car does, and to look after me all the way to my gray hairs (old age).

I will be praying for you situation. The Lord who is merciful and compassionate hears when we cry out to him. Anne, I will be praying for your husband. I know what it is like to feel like your on a dead end road. No escape. No road leading out of the dead end accept to make a u-turn and go back. It's kind of frustrating to backtrack when we thought we were moving forward. I understand the depression that your husband and you might be feeling. Sometimes when we reach a mountain we can't climb on our own, the only solution is to just keep looking up. Our Lord is still in complete control of all our lives. Some words that have offered encouragment to me: "If God is for you, who can be against you?" Our Lord is in complete control of all your circumstances. I will be praying for you.

Can't use a car....mine won't die and until it does I can't get another....

but just in case it does die (there is hope in prayer) you guys ever had a hybrid? I have heard both good and bad things about them and I really need the straight stuff on this. I heard the batteries are very expensive and undo all the money saved in gas and that they can expect to need replacemnet every 5 to 7 years. I know all the environmental issues.....and I can do an even trade in batteries and gas, or even loose some for environmental issues....but I can't do alot of that type of trading.

Actually, I am rather hoping we all have to use horses again!
