A friend from my church that lives down the road from me just lost her husband in a serious automobile crash. He wasn't a believer. She dragged him to church many times but he was so so about the whole thing. Some think he believed but there was never any fruit and he finally quit coming all together.

They just sold their home and were building a ranch out of state. They have two young teens. I have a sense in my spirit that the shock is unbearable....

Pray God will comfort.... sad.gif

amen. miche ,.i stand in agrement with your prayer and pray they have peace in their hearts through this troubling time.
we only know what happens on this earth...we don't know what happens after...I've read of people who have not believed but when they died cried out and met Jesus and where converted and come back alive.(The one I saw on tv had to forgive the person who had killed a loved one..so it appears to me the same attitude is reqiued for conversion)......We don't know definately what happens to unsaved loved ones immediately when they die here on earth, who have seemingly rejected the gospel...as they are sanctified by their believing mates...who knows for sure...only our Lord.
Is it false hope?? I don't believe so...there has been witness's who have come back..yet how many were lost and then saved after their bodies died??
We will only know for sure when we've gone from this earth and meet our Lord.
In the meantime i pray for peace biggrin.gif
ps. Hope no-one is offended by this post...There is absolutely no intenion to give false hope, upset, cause contention or in anyway upset anybody in any way.

I come into agreement. Lord, your Word says that blessed is those who weep, for they will be comforted. Lord, comfort this family and heal their wounds.
In Jesus name.
Amen.

Rom 1:9
For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;

<KJV>
1Co 15:21
For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

Rom 5:12
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: 13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. 14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. 15 But not as the offense, so also is the free gift. For if through the offense of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

Isa 26:19
Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.

2Co 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

Mat 22:31
But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying, 32 I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.
Mat 22:33 And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine.

<AV>
Eccl 12:7
Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

Job 1:21
And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.

2Cor 5:18
And all things [are] of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

2Cor 5:19
To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, [u]not imputing their trespasses unto them[/]; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

Heb 2:17
Wherefore in all things it behoved Him to be made like unto [his] brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things [pertaining] to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

We also read of them who knew not God, that the thousand years are a time of learning, but that is not to say that when death arrives, even the most ardent sinner may come to the acknowledgment in that fleeting moment, therefore counted and seen as righteous, even though none are righteous, no, not one.

Rom 14:11
For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

Isa 45:23
I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.

Phi 2:9
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
