1 Cor.11 gives a good illustration of the proper government of the home, and church. Verse 3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. ( segiment of that sentence is a good God head scripture, showing that Christ is under God's authority) Now for the shadow, the head of every man is Christ; Man represents Gods ministry. And the head of the woman is the man, the woman represents the church, and shows the authority that they ministry has to help guide and care for the church. A true marriage between a man and a woman should not be one of subjection, but rather submission, to which there is a great difference. For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God. Before anyone might have an opportunity to misunderstand me, I don't think that the ministry is married to the church, we are espoused to one husband, and thats Christ. However, it's a good picture of the relationship that we are to have.
