Islam in Prophecy

There is an eerie resemblance of the teachings, practices, and ambitions of fundamental Islam to the Biblical descriptions of events recorded in visions of the prophets for the time of the end.

We cannot be certain about a connection since the religion is not referred to by name in any Scripture.

Neither can we know the beginning of the Day of The Lord (70th week) which could be scheduled for a time far beyond the current prevalence of Islam.

There is the possibility that we are close to the start of the events that will lead up to the second coming of Jesus.

If so, then careful study and observation of an Islamic presence in the Middle East and the rest of the world should be essential for the student of Bible prophecy.

There are over one and one half billion adherents of the religion on earth today and this number is growing.

Two hundred and eighty million currently reside in the various countries that surround the nation of Israel.

This monotheistic religion of Mohammed's was developed around 600 A.D. and has its foundational beliefs rooted in the early generations of Abraham's offspring set in contrast against the lineage of Isaac and Jacob.

Isaac and Ishmael, Jacob and Esau, and Israel and the Arabs represent this divisive theme set by God which extends from its beginnings to the present day.

God has purposely separated the two lines of Abraham's descendants and has favored Israel with His Covenant regarding the Land of Israel and the future of a worldwide Kingdom ruled by their Messiah, Jesus Christ.

Islam's teaching attempts to build on the opposite position, namely that the same promises should be applied to Arabic and other adherents of Islam's national status rather than the nation of Israel.

It appears to me that Mohammed's objectives were to develop theology which directly contradicts the Bible.

His claim was that the Old Testament was corrupted by the Jews and that he was given additional revelation to correct the errors.

The concept is extended further to reveal that the Jews are actually the descendants of monkeys and pigs because of a curse placed on them by Allah for corrupting the Bible.

This type of reasoning exposes Mohammed's obvious lack of intelligence and insight which would place his claim to be a messenger from God in question.

Israel has failed to meet God's plans and objectives in many ways, but God has never referred to them or any other humans as monkeys and pigs.

I might add that there are apostate "Christian" denominations who also refute Israel's national position as God's covenant nation.

They claim the same promises of God given to Israel for themselves and this seems to be a standard position held by most of them.

Comparison of the Bible, Koran, and the traditions of apostate Christianity will reveal exactly opposite or widely varied positions on significant subjects.

Students of Bible prophecy need to take note that many of the dogmatic positions of this type are satanically inspired.

Believers in Jesus may have different views regarding their interpretation and their understanding of prophecy and other Scriptures, but they do not move away from the foundational truths of the Bible.

A study of the Koran and many Christian traditions reveal that the claims of the adherents not only oppose the Word of God, they also contain many contradictions and a great deal of confusion themselves.

Islam presents a direct refutation of the basic foundational beliefs of true Christianity including the belief in God's Son Jesus Christ.

God does not have a Son according to the Koran and there are many other fundamental Biblical truths that Islam either denies, ignores, or attempts to change.

The coming of the "lawless one" the beast, antichrist, little horn, will incorporate an attempt to openly change the "times and the laws" of the Biblically based festivals, seasons, and legalisms of orthodox Judaism.

The purpose will be to eradicate anything connecting the nation of Israel with the past, present, or future. This action will also include claiming the promises contained in the covenants that God has with Israel for the religious cult of the beast.

Satan's covenant may be one that already exists in religious practice today and is the replacement with its own existing times and laws including the destruction of Israel and all who will not submit.

Apostate Christian traditions including various Christian cults have replaced basic fundamental Biblical truths with their own replacement theologies.

They often focus their adherents on very specific exclusive requirements for acceptance by the group. Some even claim that it is their own exclusive law(s) that they have adopted from Judaism which will be the target of Satan's antichrist.

One example is the dispute regarding on which day of the week Christians should gather for worshiping God. They interpret the changing of the "times and the laws" to mean those held by their church.

Their doctrines also include salvation by works and keeping legalisms which are unsupported by Scripture. The salvation of the believer is based exclusively upon God's grace and by faith in His Son Jesus Christ.

They claim special revelation and traditional teachings of their leaders and add them to the basic tenets of Scripture.

Much harm has been committed by those who have acquired the name of Christianity for their own motivations and purposes.

Jesus spoke about them when He said that they would come in His name and would deceive many. He said,


"Do not be deceived,
for many shall come in My Name
and shall deceive many people"
[Matthew 25:5]

This response to questions asked about His second coming is first and foremost before any of the other significant events or signs are given.

Deception has existed within professing Christianity since the first century and Jesus gives specific warning about it before He continues with the rest of His response regarding the time of the end.

Mohammed was a descendant of Ishmael and a self-appointed prophet who was raised in the deserts of Arabia. His family were pagans and they worshiped a pantheon of false gods, one of which was Allah.

This god is the moon-god that was worshiped by the ancient Middle Eastern cultures of the Sumerians, Akkadians, Assyrians, and neo-Babylonians.

The pre-Islamic Arabians worshiped this same god whose symbol is the crescent moon and this fact has been verified by recent archeological discoveries.

Mohammed claimed he was visited by Gabriel who is God's angel assigned to reveal truths to the prophets of Israel.

Gabriel supposedly gave Mohammed the inspiration to write the Koran and to worship the one and only true god Allah.

My opinion is that Mohammed contrived all of this himself or was actually visited by satanic spirits, possibly by Satan himself.

If one believes the Bible then Allah is a fictitious god who does not exist. There is only one true God, the God of the Bible. He has revealed Himself in the form of His Son Jesus Christ.

All other gods are imaginary concepts contrived by humans which can be covers for satanic influence and deception.

In any case it appears to me that Satan's foot prints are all over this religion considering the overt beliefs and behavior of its adherents.

Satan also has, does, and will walk in a more subtle manner through the halls of false Christianity.

His primary objectives include placing himself above God, denying the deity of Jesus, destroying God's covenant people Israel, and eliminating all humans who are trusting in Jesus Christ for eternal life.

There is very little difference between these objectives and the teachings of Islam which is a replacement theology for both Judaism and fundamental Christianity.

The adherents of Islam are influenced to please their god by eliminating all humans (infidels) who will not submit to their god Allah.

There seems to be no limit to the insidious methods used by the leaders and the followers of fundamental Islamic terrorism in this process.

One method of killing Christian martyrs who will not worship the beast during the tribulation period will be by beheading.

This practice is prescribed by the teachings of Islam and is currently being carried out by radical Islamic terrorists in the Middle East.

Are these radical elements truly believers of the Islamic faith ? I think that they are.

This would be difficult to prove, but I get the impression that they have a definite reliance and belief beyond ordinary human limitations.

Their ultimate ambition is to obtain world domination which they believe will require the intervention of their god Allah on their behalf.

Do the so called moderate members of Islam have the same beliefs and ambitions ? I believe they do, but possibly in a different way at this time.

The tenets of the religion require ultimate victory for the followers of Allah and they could not be truly Islamic if any of these beliefs were not adhered to.

Is it possible that Islam could be the cult worship of the beast of Revelation 13 and 17 ? It is possible, but we must not jump to conclusions and become too dogmatic about this possibility.

Islamic writings predict the coming of the "Mahdi", the 12th Imam who will conquer the world for Allah and followers. This could very well be a setup for Satan's christ (antichrist, beast, Abaddon, little horn).

The Bible is the only trusted authority regarding future predictions by its prophets. The visions recorded in Scripture are always 100% accurate by evidence of past events and will be the same for events that are yet future.

Conditions on the earth can change over time and the student of Bible prophecy must realize this and be willing to make adjustments to current observations related to the prophetic Scriptures.

Future prophetic events for the end of this age will become reality when God triggers them and they will be exactly like the Bible describes them. There will be no question about it.

The student of Bible prophecy would know this without a doubt when the events of the 70th week suddenly come into view in vivid reality.

How could the Islamic adherents of the Middle East become a dominating world force given the existence of today's greater nations with superior military capabilities?

The trump card for them could be the coming of the lawless one, the beast, Abaddon, the little horn who will possess extraordinary powers and abilities far beyond those of ordinary humans.

the 70 weeks prophecy had already happened in Jesus first coming.
It is 490 from the going order to rebuild the temple (Persian King Xerexes after the death of Daniel) to 70 AD which is the day of the lord ( the end of the 500 years probation period God given to jews) and the year of annihilation in Jerusalem.
According to Josephus, the leaders of the revolution chose the day when all jews came to Jerusalem to celebrate the greaty festival and locked the doors on 2 million people mainly pilgrims. they all died. that was the day of the lord (God's wrath)

The 490 years that you are referring to ended at the Messiah, "the anointed one", not AD 70.

483 years have transpired. There is still one 7' to complete ..... the 70th week. This period of 7 years is the same as the Lord's hour of trial, the tribulation, and the first portion of the day of the Lord. One must understand this precept for correct exegesis of end time prophecy.

The end of the 70 weeks period probation ended one week after the Messiah was cut off. Indeed Josephus tells us that the persecusion of jews atarted few years after his crucifiction, when the governor started treating them badly killing people for no reason and insulting the temple etc, this culminated in the Jerusalem disaster in 70 AD.

I disagree. The 70th week is still pending according to the Bible. Historical records of the first century are accurate, but they are not visionary prophecy. The prophets and the Lord tell of a future 70th week.

Before I begin this, I would like to point out that Satan knows the prophecies better then anyone. He knows what is certainly going to come to pass from the book of Daniel and Revelations. Knowing the events before was able to integrate them into the Koran for the purpose of deceiving Muslims until the end. There are parallels between The Koran and the Bible about events to occur in the last days. I want to say here that the Spirit of God bears witness to the Bible that it is the truth!

Abraham had two sons. Ishmael was the eldest son of Abraham born of Hagar, the
Egyptian handmaid of Abraham's wife Sarah. And Issac born of Sarah who is the
seed of
promise. Ishmael became the father of the Arabs.

translates as "he will hear/obey God") He is first mentioned in the Hebrew
Bible's Book of
Genesis as the eldest son of Abraham by Hagar, Sarah's female Egyptian
bond-servant or
slave. In the Qur'an, Ishmael is considered one of the prophets of Islam. In the
Bahá'í
Writings, Ishmael is considered a lesser prophet.

In the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament), Ishmael's life is described in the Book of
Genesis
chapters 16 and further. In Genesis 16 Sarah (Abraham's wife) gives him her
maid-servant
Hagar so that she can have a son of her own by using her maid-servant as a birth

So Hagar returned to Abraham's house, and had a son whom she named Ishmael.
Fourteen
years after this, Abraham's wife Sarah, herself became pregnant with his son,
Isaac.
When Ishmael was about 16 years old, he angered Sarah, and she asked Abraham to
expel
him and his mother.
Isaac grew, and on the day he was weaned Abraham held a great feast. But Sarah
saw that
Ishmael was mocking Isaac, and she said to Abraham; "Get rid of that slave woman
and
her son, for that slave woman's son will never share in the inheritance with my
son
Isaac." (NIV, Genesis 21:8-10)
While Abraham was very uneasy over the whole thing, he finally gave in to his
wife's
request when God told him that He would take care of Ishmael, due the fact that
the child
is Abraham's descendant.
The matter distressed Abraham greatly because it concerned his son. But God said
to him,
"Do not be so distressed about the boy and your maidservant. Listen to whatever
Sarah
tells you, because it is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.
I will make
the son of the maidservant into a nation also, because he is your offspring."

Hagar, with her son, wandered in the wilderness of Beersheba, and when reduced
to great
distress, a voice from heaven said "What is the matter, Hagar? Do not be afraid;
God has
heard the boy crying as he lies there. Lift the boy up and take him by the hand,
for I will
make him into a great nation." (Genesis 21)
They lived in the wilderness of Paran, where Hagar's son became an expert in
archery. His
mother married him to an Egyptian woman.
God promised Abraham:
Then God said, "Yes, but your wife Sarah will bear you a son, and you will call
him Isaac. I
will establish my covenant (with him) as an everlasting covenant for his
descendants after
him. (notice He said with Isaac he will establish His covenant…not Ishmael) And
as for
Ishmael, I have heard you: I will surely bless him; I will make him fruitful and
will greatly
increase his numbers. (nothing said about establishing covenant with him) He
will be the
father of twelve rulers, and I will make him into a great nation. But my
covenant I will
establish with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you by this time next year."
(Genesis 17)

So Abraham became the father of Isaac. Isaac became the father of Jacob. Jacob
became
the father of Judah and his brothers.
Jacob became Israel - Genesis 32:24 So Jacob was left alone. Then a man wrestled
with
him until daybreak. 32:25 When the man saw that he could not defeat Jacob, he
struck the
socket of his hip so the socket of Jacob's hip was dislocated while he wrestled
with him.
32:26 Then the man said, "Let me go, for the dawn is breaking." "I will not let
you go,"
Jacob replied, "unless you bless me." 32:27 The man asked him, "What is your
name?"
He answered, "Jacob." 32:28 "No longer will your name be Jacob," the man told
him, "but
Israel, because you have fought with God and with men and have prevailed."
32:29 Then Jacob asked, "Please tell me your name." "Why do you ask my name?"

man replied. Then he blessed Jacob there. 32:30 So Jacob named the place
Peniel,
explaining, "Certainly I have seen God face to face and have survived." Some
believe this
to be Jesus the Son of God who wrestled with Jacob.
Jacob became Israel who begat the 12 patriarchs who became the nation of Israel
who
would come to reside in the State of Israel.
It is through Israel that God gave man His law. God chose to reveal
Himself to the
world through Israel and with Israel did he make his covenant.

Through the one would come the Christ the savior of mankind and the deliverer of
freedom from the penalty of sin, and from the other (Ishmael) would come the man
of sin, the son of perdition (the Antichrist).

Isaac was chosen and Ishmael was rejected.

The Antichrist, the man of sin who some believe is AKA the 12th Imam Mahdi who
exalts
himself above Jesus, Moses and the Law of God and rejects the Living Christ the True
Jesus who
IS the Son of the living Holy God, and who eventually exalts and boasts himself
above even
God.

This 12th Imam Mahdi will stand in the Temple and proclaim himself to be God and
will
cause the masses of the world to be beheaded who will not receive the symbol of
obedience to Islam on their right hand or forehead. The false religion of Islam, the religion of Antichrist will fill the world!

…But there will
be a great World War first such as the world has not seen(WWIII), not
Armageddon, but a
terrible, terrible war involving ALL nations and
peoples from the four corners of the world.

During the time of WWIII, and prior to the Rapture and antichrist revealed, there will be revival in the Church such as has not been as the Lord readies His Church. Now some believe that the Church will increase in numbers, but in actually will decrease in numbers as only ture believes will call themselves Christians. Are there really some 2 Billion Christian Saints in the world right now? ...not all who call themselves Christians are Christians. But the Lord knows the number.


During this Great War (WWIII) a great deception will occur to deceive the nations, and to draw away many believers from the faith.

This may indeed be the reason for the whole UFO phenomenon as we know it for the last 60+ years ...to prepare the world for the AntiChrist, the disclosure by world governments on the existence of UFOs and ETs as a reality, in order to prepare the world for the disappearace of millions of Christians worldwide...this disclosure to be done prior to the rapture. The Alien disclosure that will come from world governments will be the great deception...and there will be a great falling away...and the delusion will be so strong, so powerful, that if it were possible, that even the very elect would be deceived. I believe this UFO/Alien disclosure will be used for the purpose of deceiving the nations...and then the Rapture will occur and millions of Christains will disappear, and this event will be blamed on ETs and UFOs as mass abductions. It will claimed that interstellar war has broken out, and is taking place between alien races and that the world must unite in a one world government.

When the rapture happens...then the time known as the Great Tribulation as writen about in the book of Revelations will come to pass...followed immediately by the apocalypse...the last battle between God and the fallen watchers/angles and the armies of men as it is written - (here is your interstellar war:)

During WWIII, the U.S. and many nations will be
at war in
the Middle East, Syria, Iran, China and Russia will fall, but this war will also
depose the U.S.
as a world leader and superpower. Such indescribable Chaos and anarchy will
exist in the
world; democracy will be in a shambles and will be a failed political system, as
no one
from any party will agree on anything.


The world will desperately cry out for
peace…then
he who hinders shall be taken out of the way… For the mystery of iniquity doth
already
work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way: and
then shall that

The Antichrist will be a world leader, and will ultimately set up a
One World Government, and will be presented as a great
Man of peace. He will be a Muslim Arab (Gentile). Only a Muslim Arab
(Gentile) would be able to allow the Jews to re-establish daily sacrifice in the
Jewish
Temple at Jerusalem. If a Jewish or Judeo-
Christian person attempted to allow the Jews to re-establish daily sacrifice in

Temple at Jerusalem, there would be "Jihad" by the Muslims.

The Muslims will call him the 12th Imam Mahdi, who will appear for
seven years, and ALL Muslims will obey him implicitly.


The Mahdi will
call for a truce with the Jews in the Middle East, an end to World War III and
world peace.
He will allow the Jews to reconstruct the
3rd Temple. The Jewish Daily sacrifice will be reinstated in the 3rd
Jewish Temple, which will be located on the Temple Mount. There
will be peace for 3-1/2 years.

After 3-1/2 years the Mahdi (Antichrist) will break his covenant with
the Jews and make war with them, and set himself up in the Jewish
Temple and pronounce himself that he is God. And the following 3-1/2
years will be the most terrible the world has ever seen...all wars since time
began
and all plagues combined will pale in comparison...it will be the time
known as the Great Tribulation or the Wrath of God poured on the
world.

Daniel 9:27 records that an Abomination That Causes Desolation will
occur in the middle of the last seven years, or 3 1/2 years from the
end. In Matt. 24:21 Jesus identifies this event as the beginning of
the Great Tribulation. Paul confirms this and adds detail by
describing the Antichrist standing in the Temple proclaiming himself
to be God. (2 Thes. 2:4) This is also further evidence of a Temple in
Israel at the end of the age.

The greatest recognized peace in the history of mankind occurred
during "Pax Romano", or "the Peace of Rome." Rome established that
peace through essentially a One World Government, with a One World
Religion. World Leadership today recognizes and has been subtly and
aggressively leading the world back toward that unity and the peace
that they hope to reestablish through such organizations as the
United Nations. In the quest for peace and an end to WWIII
(Not Armageddon), World Leadership will attempt to aid the Antichrist
in re-establishing a new One World Government (an Islamic Theocracy)

as long as the world has peace.

The Antichrist will be accompanied and served by a lamb beast. The
Beast will look like a lamb, but will speak like a Dragon. The
Beast will look like Jesus, but speak like the Devil. The Beast
will be a religious leader who will be the False Prophet: The Muslims
will call him Isa, but he will be the false Jesus or the "False
Prophet" Mahdi will lead Isa to Mecca to pray and he will deceive
many.

Elijah will come back on Passover in fulfillment of Jewish
expectations & prophecy.
Elijah will decry the antichrist for 1260 days - Revelation 11:3
Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the
coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD -Malachi 4:1-5
As a result of the tradition that Elijah did not die but is with God,
significant expectations of Elijah's future return developed within
Judaism and Christianity. It was believed that Elijah would someday
come back to earth, and his arrival would signal the dawn of the
Messianic era. For texts that seem to connect Elijah with the future
messiah, see Malachi 4:4-6, and in the New Testament
Mark 9:2-13

The Muslims will pronounce Elijah to be Al-Dajjal.

Then the 12th Imam Mahdi will appear with a plan for the Middle East…an end to
struggle
and World Wide War and finally peace, and a world desperate for peace will
listen to him.

The Antichrist will be a world leader, and will ultimately set up a
One World Government. The Antichrist will be presented as a great
man of peace. He will be a Muslim Arab (Gentile). Only a Muslim Arab
(Gentile) would be able to allow the Jews to re-establish daily
sacrifice in the Jewish Temple at Jerusalem. If a Jewish or Judeo-
Christian person attempted to allow the Jews to re-establish daily
sacrifice in the Jewish Temple at Jerusalem, there would be "Jihad"

Then the Times of Jacob's trouble, or what is known as, "The Great Tribulation"
will begin.
Millions of Christians will disappear from the face of the earth suddenly and
Christianity
will be abandoned by the nations of the world for Islam…(the great falling away)
During these seven years of Tribulation, the 12th Imam Mahdi will introduce Isa
the "false
Jesus" or the "False Prophet" or "the Beast" only Mahdi will present him as the
only true
Jesus and will lead him to Mecca…he will deceive many. The armed forces of the
world
now serve Mahdi and will form an Islamic Army and will force all the Inhabitants
of the
world to Islam "the New World Order"...for the pupose of peace they will say. War will be made against the Roman
Catholic and
Protestant Church's and they will fall by the sword. Vatican will be captured
and become
Muslim. With most Christians out of the way, Islam will become the religion of
the world
and will rapidly convert the world to Islam…"The Great Falling Away" The "New
World
Order" will be an Islamic theocracy.

After this beast is identified we are told of another beast. We know the
other beast is
the False Prophet because of his relationship with the Antichrist and the

power and deception he exercises over the world.
Then I saw another beast [False Prophet], coming out of the earth. He had two
horns like a
lamb, but he spoke like a dragon. He exercised all the authority of the first
beast
[Antichrist] on his behalf, and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the
first beast,
whose fatal wound had been healed. And he [False Prophet] performed great and
miraculous signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to earth in full
view of
men. Because of the signs he was given power to do on behalf of the first beast,

deceived the inhabitants of the earth. He ordered them to set up an image in

I believe it is most likely that Islam will be the glue that binds Middle Eastern nations who will follow satan's beast and he will arise there. There seems to be much evidence given in scripture to support this view. I do have a different view of "gog" in Ezekiel 38.

WWIII will be started and fought in the Middle East, but I am not ruling out attacks on western countries which will probably happen (terrorist attacks and even bombings from Russia/China and members of the SCO.)

You may be correct about the USA. The destruction of the "great city" [a kingdom or nation of integrated cities] recorded in Revelation bears noting. I think it really depends upon how close we are to the time of the end. The landscape can change over time .... but I do see this possibility today for the reasons you have given.

I see Ezekiel's vision of "gog" as the Lord addressing satan who is the "chief" prince of the fallen angelics and the "god" of this world. The vision uses ancient geographical land designatiors and relates them to the time of the end so I think the Middle East is in view. The vision as I see it has two parts. The initial invasion of satan and his agents [Abaddon-Apollyon/the little horn who are not seen in the context directly] of a regathered Israel in part. I believe this invasion will take place just before the midpoint of the 70th week decreed for Israel. Satan and his agents will succeed and will kill many of the nation and will occupy Jerusalem and the temple mount as noted in many other visions. This occupation and rule will last for 42 months leading to the next part of the vision which a description of the battle of Armageddon. The Lord will end satan's rule and will then establish His earthly millennial kingdom with it center in Jerusalem.
Many prophetic visions incorporate the structure of beginning and ending events without including details between them. I believe this is the the format of Ezekiel's vision in 38, and 39.

I look to Daniel 11:36-45, 12:7 for the overview of satan's human king of the north [little horn] and his war campaign for the purpose of consolidating his Middle Eastern base which will include Israel. I believe he will defeat all opposition to his ambitions for world rule including from the south, the far east, and the far north. He will conquer and rule his Middle Eastern kingdom unopposed for 42 months. The only directional vector not included in this passage is the west and I think it is because he will have already destroyed western capabilities by midweek. None will be able to oppose him in warefare because of his supernatural strength and abilities imputed by satan.

This is a strange time we live in; people are lost and stumbling around in the dark trying to find their way. Along comes a group (in a small country) which appeals to the masses by making over-inflated promises which draws people to their way of thinking. This isn't the first time this has happened; it kind of reminds me of Germany in the 1930's and the Nazi party.

Now, you take a people which are basically un-educated and third world, and promise to make them into a "Great Nation" among the nations, (re: the Iranian nuclear reactor and nuclear technology) that they are somehow religiously superior to others and you get your cult following...add to this their rationale that the only reason why they have been subjugated to a lesser class of people is because they have been suppressed...Sound familiar?...didn't Hitler use this angle?

Throw into the mix the religious overtones that exist in the M.E. and that which people hold deeply in their lives, and you have the makings of an evil that the world hasn't witnessed since before WW2, and has the a distinctive characteristic or attribute of a Pax-Romano (Roman Rule) like institute, but instead this will be Muslim Rule.

The Romans like the Muslims were religious people. Pontifex Maximus was the High Priest. This position is filled with whom we call the Pope today. The Praetor was in charge of the judiciary of Rome. The office is like the Vice President position we have today. They make judgments upon the people and are the chief law officer. The Consuls (house and senate)or in Iran the (Mullahs) may overturn their verdicts if they felt the need.

What I see coming is similar - Pax-Islam...everything is in place for this...Islam is sweeping Europe and growing worldwide at an exponential pace...but there are obstacles.

Democracy and the right to choose stands in the way; I think the Middle East is a powder keg that is hung over the fire. Many believe that U.S. is about to leave Iraq or at least they should...and that somehow peace will take hold in the region when they leave. This is far from the truth; in reality, if and when U.S. troops go home, there will be a power struggle in the Middle East like has never been seen and in particular Iraq.

One possible scenario: Iran will sweep through Iraq with their army, with the help of the Shia in Iraq; the Saudis will resist this of course and march up to engage them in battle and another war will transpire in the Middle East again many innocents will die.

The Saudis will have trouble because of inner turmoil (which exists now) and being betrayed by people in their own ranks who will side with the Iranian Mullahs and their brand of Islam. During this time, Iran and Saudi Arabia will sit across the table from each other to discuss terms for peace and will lie to each other, Iran will leave with a considerable amount of concessions made to them because of their superior army, but the war will continue on anyway (blood Feud)

...this WILL bring back U.S. forces back to the region and the rest of the world will be there too because of the oil...and the start of WWIII

This power struggle between Iran (Shia) and Saudi Arabia (Sunni) is already going on in Iraq...pre-civil war phase...when the U.S. leaves, a full blown civil war will break out. I feel what is about to transpire in the Middle East in the coming months, is going to change the world we live in dramatically.

I have left out the obvious in all of this this, but I will say it now... US withdrawal would be "dangerous" and a major source of concern for Israel...From such a withdrawal, anarchy would break out in Iraq and spread across the Shi'ite-Sunni world...Not many of us today will realize and dare to predict that the Shiite-Sunni Civil war in Iraq today bloody as it is, presages a much greater and bloodier regional Shiite-Sunni and Arab-Persian war in the Middle East. If war breaks out between Sunni/Shia nations, it will surley see Israel having to defend itself from them in the fray.


Some background and what we have to look forward to when U.S. troops leave Iraq: "There is a sense that Shia are under occupation. And the situation is getting worse. There was a plan written by a Wahhabi cleric named Nasir al Omar who wrote about converting Shias to Sunni Islam or else face execution.

Unfortunately it's at a social level now as well. The hatred of Shia is so intense that killing of Shia civilians is widely accepted.

...The Sunnis have no stake in working towards a Shiite dominated Iraq. They have everything to gain from destabilizing an Iraq that is moving in this direction. So the Sunnis are becoming the proverbial fly in the ointment for the Shiites and the Coalition forces and they have started a destabilizing insurgency in Iraq.

We may note that while the Iraqi insurgency is fully dominated by Sunnis it is not limited to Iraqi Sunnis. Sunnis from all across the Islamic world have converged in to Iraq to destabilize Iraq. No wonder the Saudis and Iranians want the U.S. out of Iraq. ...the Shiite-Sunni Civil War in Iraq presage a much greater and bloodier regional Shiite-Sunni and Arab-Persian war in the Middle East Not many of us today will realize and dare to predict that the Shiite-Sunni Civil war in Iraq today bloody as it is, presages a much greater and bloodier regional Shiite-Sunni and Arab-Persian war in the Middle East.

This war that will unfold over several months will be by far the most bloodiest landmark in the history of War. This will be a war that will tear the Islamic world in the Middle East into two irreconcilable halves. A war that will not be a formal or declared one like a conventional war, but will be marked by increasingly bold and destructive terrorists attacks on Shiite targets, first in Iraq and later across the Islamic world.

Before it is over the entire Middle East will be at war, and the U.S. will have to return to finish the job they started, and much greater cost, both of million of lives and trillions of dollars. Saudi Arabia is financing the Sunni Insurgency to overthrow the Shia, and Iran is financing Shia independence in Iraq with hopes of uniting countries to become the biggest financial/military superpower in the M.E. and the Saudis/Sunnis just won't let this happen.

How the Shiite-Sunni war will shape up in the months after the withdraw of U.S. forces from the region...An interesting outcome of this could be that the coalition forces would gradually withdraw to heavily fortified zones inside Iraq and leave the day-to-day fighting to the Shiite Army and Police. While the Americans dream is a stable and democratic Iraq, the Sunnis have no interest in such a Shiite dominated Iraq, while most Shiites would also not want democracy per se, they would prefer a Shiite theocracy - a prospect which is the worst anathema for the Sunnis.

We may see interesting permutations, where the Sunni insurgents gradually leave the coalition forces alone, unless they enter the war on the side of the Shiite dominated Iraqi army against the Sunni insurgents. But if the Americans keep to themselves inside their fortified zones, they would be a target of secondary preference to the Sunni insurgents.

The first object of their rage is going to be the Iraqi army and the lay Shiites. So we would see schools, hospitals, mosque gatherings on Fridays being targeted in Shiite areas. How the Shiite army and police respond to this and what would be the policy of the present and future Shiite dominated government remains an interesting question. The Shiites have displayed remarkable restraint so far, but the only reason for this is that they know that Iraq is their inheritance by sheer force of numbers through which they will ride over the Sunnis. They want to strengthen their grasp over Iraq, till the time that they can act independently of the Coalition forces.

Once they cross that critical mass, the Shiites will shed their restraint and go on a merciless offensive against the Sunnis. They have shown evidence of this when the former Prime Minister Ilyad Allawi personally shot some tens of Sunni insurgents lodged in Iraqi prisons. And Sunni clerics have had their bodies drilled into with electric drilling machines by Shiite policemen.

These are tips of the iceberg of Shiite hatred for the Sunnis.

One more thing: Historic significance of the American liberation of Iraq for the Shiites When the coalition forces toppled Saddam's regime they did not bring an end only to the Baathist dictatorship of three decades, but to Sunni domination of 1400 years. ...I guess not much thought was given about this before we toppled Saddam. The coming war (WWIII) will see all nations invloved, not just M.E. nations...anyone who has a stake and interest...because of the M.E. oil...China/Russia and the SCO...the U.S. and allied nations will be there defending their intrests.


Toward the end of WWIII, the 12th Imam Mahdi, Islam's saviour will arise and call for peace in the Middle East and with Israel and indeed with the world...he will be known as man of peace...and the time of the Great Tribulation will begin.

You have some good insight in my opinion.

I would agree with your analysis to a great extent and it does appear that the unstable Islamic Middle East will set the backdrop for the rise of Daniel's little horn. This would fit the scriptures hand in glove. [Psalms 83 for one example]. I will say that I always stick to a course of evaluating current and past events in light of the scriptures and not the other way around.

I do not see this entity as a peace maker however. His destruction of many by "peace" will most likely be his rational to promote peace. He will eliminate all infidels (those who will not submit to his cult) in order to bring what he claims will be a peaceful world ..... Islam already teaches this very concept. Neither do I see the covenant confirmed as a "peace" agreement between satan's beast and Israel or any others. I would say that the covenant is of the 70 weeks of years in the context of Daniel 9. I believe the Lord will confirm it by execution of the balance of the 70th week which is still yet future. I see this man of lawlessness as a war monger from the get-go as I read most of the scriptural content related to his presence on the earth.

He will be known as a man of peace, but he will not be that of course (that will be to deceive the nations); we know from the sciptures what he is going to do before he does it. I see him coming on the scene during a terrible conflict (WWIII or Ezekial 38...as Russia/China and SCO et al will be destroyed as a military power in this War {who is able to make war with the beast - USA}). I believe the antichrist will have a peace plan which involves some sort of deal with Israel that will allow them to rebuild their temple and an end to WWIII.

The temple will be in place before the second coming of Jesus. The anticrhrist will be on earth for seven years. During his first 3-1/2 years there will be peace on earth, but this is a false peace and when the world will say "peace and safety" then the abomination that cause desolation will occur, then will come sudden destruction...then he will set himself up in the finished temple and call himself god.

Although the U.S. will be absolved as a super power, that does not mean they have no power, only that the "status" of being perceived as such will be. Democracy will be in shambles, and will be a failed politcal system which will open the gates for rule by a one world government. Oh, the U.S. will be very much alive and well, and very powerful and will give its power to the antichrist to rule the world. Now take the USA and take every God fearing Christian out it via the rapture, then remove the Holy Spirit from the world and what do you have left in the USA? Need I say it? Well I will...you have the most powerful nation/beast, whose military destructive power is unmatched and unparalleled anywhere since time began in the hands of Satan to do with as he pleases, that's what. Who is able to make war with this beast?

The beast rising up out of the sea represents the U.S.A. coming across the ocean. Never in the history of the world since the world began, has there been a more fierce and deadly or more powerful military force than that of the United States of America...ever (the beast with iron claws and teeth) The U.S. fulfills this prophecy like none other. Try to imagine what the U.S. armed forces will be like after a conflict as deadly as WWIII to get a picture of it...how deadly and how terrible. Take what it is now and multiply several times...much more fierce.

The heads of this beast represent the differnet parts of rule and power. Take for example what happened with the World Trade Center in 2001. The WTC represents commerce, the stock market and wealth...this is one of the heads of the beast.

When Islamists destroyed these towers and the stock markets, it was believed that the beast (USA) would crumble from economic ruin and chaos, that is why these Islamists chose this target. One the heads of the beast was wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
The economic recovery and restoration to power of the U.S. markets after the destruction of the WTC was nothing short of miraculous.

I will do my best to answer all of your questions, but this is going to take time because some of them require lengthy answers. So I will start by answering one at a time.

Was not Babylon, the ancient city, the epicenter of man's rule in the time of Nimrod and also Nebuchadnezzar? Athens under Alexander and at the time when the book of Revelations was written, was not Rome, which sits on seven hills, the "Babylon the Great" of the day, the epicenter of man's rule?

Is not the U.S.A./UK et al - democracy, and Russia/China - communisim the epicenter of man's rule today in every country of the world? Man's Rule is going to end soon and so will individual nations (Babylon the Great).

The military might of the USA will remain intact, as well as several other heads of this beast; Russian/Chinese militaries will fall and those who will be with them according to Ezekiel 38.

I see this "Great City" as being the rule of man, the epicenter of Man's rule, man's own self governance/self rule. It is God who judges man and gives him over to Satan for destruction.

You have to see that there will be war on earth (WWIII) ...a terrible, terrible war. In the Middle East, what may start as war between Shia and Sunni conflict over Iraq, may ingulf the entire region, as both WILL attack Israel and a holy war will begin...one in which the Jews destroy the mosque on the Temple Mount. Will the mosque be rebuilt? I think that antichrist will call for a truce with Israel and allow Israel to reconstruct the Temple.

In order to clearly establish the time period in which the prophetic portions of Haggai's writings will

be fulfilled, it is necessary to review the following four topic areas contained in Haggai's writings:

1. All Nations Will be Shaken
2. The Heavens and Earth Will be Shaken
3. The Past and Present Building of the Temple
4. The Instruction to Build the Temple

For many years, the Jews of today (the Israelis) have made plans to build a temple. They have procured the necessary items for the practice of the sacrificial system, prepared a priesthood for service in the temple, and even become aware of the ceremonial hand gestures that are necessary in order to give offerings and sacrifices. However, they have not gone forward because of political pressure and a persistent controversy that surrounds the location of the future temple (i.e., the City of David, the Temple Mount, or The Mount of Olives).

They have prepared for the building of the temple because they know that God requires a temple as part of his covenant agreement with his chosen people, yet they have procrastinated just as their ancient ancestors did.

Will the Temple be constructed before or after Christ's return?
Matthew 24:15 says: When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

This would indicate that the Temple will be in place before Christ's return.

And again the Apostle Paul states clearly in 2 Thessalonians 2:4 (New King James Version) concerning antichrist -
"who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God[a] in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God."

again it appears that the temple is in place during the tribulation.

I will try and answer more on this latter.

1. I believe it is possible that the antichrist/beast is Satan incarnate. I make reference to Genisis 6 and the Book of Enoch which states that there was inter breeding between angels and human women. Satan is in hell (the abyss) and on the earth in the realm of men. Satan was in the begining of the Earth, the beast is not yet in power, he is conceived by the devil hence his origin from the abyss.

I wonder if nephilim, the offspring of angel and woman, can sire children with women? ...hmmm curious. Nephilim may have been on Earth for some time if this is true. Could certain wealthy families that have influence and power on earth have this lineage if true? Could these not help antichrist to world power when the time comes, when man's rule is taken away? How deep does this go? ...as it was in the days of Noah.

If I am correct about the beast rising up out of the sea being what is presently known as the U.S.A. (imagine this country after the rapture, when no Christians are left), then beware the Muslim President who swears oath of office on the Koran (which may take place before the rapture.) Will the 12th Imam Mahdi come out of the Middle East; could he not be a Muslim World Leader of Middle Eastern desent?

Could this Muslim U.S. President become known as a man of peace after the terrible war which is coming, if Middle East countries recognize him as the 12th Imam Mahdi and obey him? ...The antichrist will be presiding over the most powerfull military force the world has ever known...and since man and world governments will be deposed of power, will there be self governing nations as we know them now, and where will the capitol of this new world order be?

Will the world's capitol be in Washington, or The Middle East somewhere, perhaps Jerusalem after antichrist takes control of the 3rd Temple? This purpose of this next war (WWIII) will be to destroy nations as a self governing entities (the rule of man). Democracy, Communisim will be failed political systems and the world will cry for peace...so great will be the cry, but still man does not repent before God.

This opens the door for the President of the United States (democracy having been abolished due to War and millions of deaths) to become the World's Ruler...the man of peace who makes a peace with Israel and the Arab nations, so that Israel can rebuild the temple.

Antichrist, the 12th Imam Mahdi whom the Muslims will obey, the Beast who once was, now is not, and he will come out of the abyss. Now, if world rulers in other countries are Nephilim as the anitchrist may be, would they not bow before their prince when the time comes, and unite as a one world government? Is what I am writing here possible?

I would suggest that the fallen angelics were co-habiting with human women before the flood. I don't believe they have been doing this since then because of added restraint by the Lord. And we can know that many of them, if not all, have been imprisoned in the abyss and bound in the Euphrates River. They cannot interact with humanity while restrained to this degree. Some of the fallen angelics are still free and they will come to the earth with satan when they are cast out of the heavenly dimension. These are the powers and principalities of the air described in the N.T.. Their interaction is very limited and restricted to influence only today. This will change and all of the fallen angelics including satan will be allowed to interact directly with humanity during the coming tribulation period.

One thing you can discover in the Book of Revelation is that satan, his beast, and the false prophet are all different from each other ..... they are different fallen angelics. His beast (I think this is Abaddon-Apollyon who comes out of the abyss) is the one who will incarnate Daniel's little horn, human king of the north. Daniel records this human king in his visions of the time of the end, but he is not called the same in Revelation ..... he has become the beast by possession. I would also suggest that satan is not currently in the abyss, but Abaddon-Apollyon is. If satan was there he would not be able to interact with humanity, I can tell you that he is doing this today. Satan will eventually be cast into the abyss and confined so that he cannot deceive the nations during the Lord's millennial rule on the earth after the tribulation that is coming.

I think it may be possible that what was done before may be happening again...right now. I don't know how much you know about the UFO phenomenon, but these, I believe, are not aliens from other planets, but fallen angelics.

Ever since Israel has become a nation in 1948, these things have been showing up en masse and in increasing numbers. Satan and his fallen angels know their time is very short now, and have been preparing...waiting for their chance, and like a coiling snake are going to attack. I believe some of these angelics are working in collusion with some governments, albeit secretly. If you have not read the book of Enoch, I would suggest that you read it; Jude quotes Enoch directly in his epistle.

It is a book of fiction, but in it he tells a story and brings out a lot of truth concerning these fallen watchers/other, and presents it in an interesting way...things concerning them. I do not have to agree with everything he puts in his book, but for research purposes it has been interesting:

Here is what I would say:

I read much, but I tend to restrict my understanding to the scriptures only and what little info is given there regarding satan and the fallen angelics.

I use the book of Enoch as an historical reference, but not as inspired scripture.

I think that current UFOs are human imaginations or human craft and not fallen angelics.

Satan and some of the fallen angelics are free at this time, but under the Lord's heavy restraint. Their capacity to influence humans is active, but they can not cross the boundary of the restraint.

The balance are either imprisoned in the Abyss including Abaddon-Apollyon, or are bound at the Euphrates River. None of these can interact with humans in any way at this time.

All of satan and his angelics will be released unrestrained upon the earth and will interact openly and directly with humans, but not until the time of the end .... the beginning of the 70th week which is still future.

Time will tell soon enough, I believe there is a strong delusion coming, that has something to do with the UFO phenomenon. Fallen angelics who lie and deceive with supposed miracles and lying wonders...but like I said time will tell.

What will trigger this? Persecution will, and tribulation. What will start the persecution? I believe WWIII will, as I have already written down in this thread...at the onset of the NWO...because Christians will oppose this.

First and foremost, national Israel will only exist in full when Jesus returns with all of the Christians and not until...that's right, believers in Christ only.

Most Jews do not believe Jesus is the messiah, although some accept Christians supporting them, and I think some Jews are secretly obedient to the faith. I support national Israel as a Christian entity when the Lord returns, and I support them now, because God is about to show Himself to the world through them in a very special way, but only as it relates to the coming of Jesus.

This is why the Jews have been brought back to the land of Israel in fulfillment to prophecy, and as a sign to believers in Jesus on His imminent return. Since the Jews still reject Jesus, they still reject God period, and only a remnant of them will be saved as it is written. During the time of the millenial reign of Jesus only His body will reign with Him...those that had part in the first resurrection, the world will be ruled by the Lord from Jerusalem and we the Christians (His body) will reign with Him.

The Church will indeed go through the tribulation, but not the part of the Great Tribulation where the bowls of wrath are poured out, as the body of Christ is not appointed to wrath.

I believe in the rapture of the Body of Christ.

I believe that there will be two witnesses during the Great Tribulation that are two people, and not the complete body of believers, they are part of this body, but it will be just two.

You have said these are Jews only...but it does not say that in bible, but it may be true, only the Lord knows, and they will know who they are too when the time comes.

Well, if this is true how are they going to get saved, if there is no one left on Earth that are believers in Jesus to tell them that Jesus loves them, so they can get saved? The Lord is an ethnic Israelite by His humanity and He is the nation's King and Messiah. This will be revealed at His coming. This argument is mute. The Lord will still offer salvation during His judgment against an unbelieving world. He has no intention of withdrawing it. The purpose of the selected 144,000 believing Israelites will be to spread the eternal gospel and they will do it. First to Israel and then to the nations during the period. This believing remnant part of national Israel will turn to the Lord [the first of the tribulation period] and accept Him as their King and Messiah, and their preaching will turn others for sure. But unfortunately most during the period will not repent and they will be killed and lost forever. Those who do turn and believe and are killed will be resurrected at the end of the period and added to the immortalized church. The body of Christ is composed of those who believe, Israelite or Gentile ..... not a specific church organization or building. And it does not make any difference when they are saved .... on this side of the beginning of the coming judgment or after it begins. Salvation is salvation. But it will make a difference in terms of the conditions present on the earth if one is alive at the time. It is all a matter of timing. When the Lord pulls the trigger of His wrath and judgment it will come suddenly and without warning. Those who believe and are ready at the time will leave the earth ..... all other humans will enter His period of wrath .....by their choice. But He will still offer salvation during the period.

Yes national Israel is in the end time picture, I have not said they are not...but only as it has been pointed out. The Lord Is the ruler and King of ALL nations, not just Israel. And there is a reason why Abram was chosen as the line of Christ the saviour of mankind, but you have to understand why the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was planted in the Garden of Eden...and to understand why that tree was planted, you have to understand something about God before time of creation...the origins of good and evil and what they are. maybe you know these things already.

When this world is done, and the Great White Throne Judgement has come and gone, there will be no more separations of the nations...no Jew or Gentile...Just the tabernacle of God dwelling with men. Amen.

This is where some Christians are divided. I tend to be leaning toward mid-trib rapture, and that the saints will have to go through tribulation as it is written, but not the bowls of wrath. Is the antichrist in the world now? When will he be revealed, and when is the Holy Spirit taken out of the way so that the man of sin be revealed?

I can answer your final questions here, but hesitate to do so because I doubt that any advancement will come of it for either of us or the readers, especially since you think I hate Christians. How could you possibly give any credibility to one you say hates Christians.

Ask yourself this: How much of what I know about the Bible have I read, studied, and understood myself and how much of what I think about it has come from others who tell me what I should believe? One should strive for a 90%/10% ratio respectively.
