This would seem to be a "Who cares topic".
But one day I was wondering if the Final number of Apostles was somewhere hidden in scripture.
I could not relate to any scripture quoting any number except twelve.
I knew that Christ had chosen twelve of which one fell and the eleven remaining Apostles replaced Judas Iscariot with Mathias.
Then I also related Paul's road to Damascus adventure with Christ choosing His own replacement.
Plus the fact that Paul calls Himself an Apostle.
So then the eleven plus Mathias is twelve plus Paul makes thirteen.
But then in the final count in prophecy in revelation it is back to twelve again.
So what do you think?
Revelation 21
14 Now the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the "twelve apostles of the Lamb".
By this scripture there doesn't seem to be any more or any less than twelve apostles in the end when all is said and done.
