Georgia Plans Service to Pray for Rain

ATLANTA (AP) - What to do when the rain won't come? If you're Georgia Gov. Sonny Perdue, you pray.

The governor will host a prayer service next week to ask for relief from the drought gripping the Southeast.

"The only solution is rain, and the only place we get that is from a higher power," Perdue spokesman Bert Brantley said on Wednesday.

Perdue's office has sent out invitations to leaders from several faiths for the service, set for Tuesday.

Perdue has several times mentioned the need for prayer - along with water conservation - as the state's drought crisis has worsened. Over the summer, he participated in day of prayer for agriculture at a gathering of the Georgia Farm Bureau in Macon, Ga.

Perdue, a Baptist, has enjoyed strong support from Georgia's Christian conservatives.

The Southeast has been suffering from an intense drought in recent months that has threatened supplies of drinking water. Georgia has been locked in a battle with Alabama and Florida over how much water should be sent downstream from the state's dwindling reservoirs.

Governors from the three states reached a temporary agreement after meeting with Bush administration officials in Washington.

The prayer service will be held outside the state Capitol on Tuesday. Unless, of course, it rains.

"Then we'll move it inside, thankfully," Brantley said.

Tennessee Town Has Run Out of Water

ORME, Tenn. (AP) - As twilight falls over this Tennessee town, Mayor Tony Reames drives up a dusty dirt road to the community's towering water tank and begins his nightly ritual in front of a rusty metal valve. With a twist of the wrist, he releases the tank's meager water supply, and suddenly this sleepy town is alive with activity. Washing machines whir, kitchen sinks fill and showers run.

About three hours later, Reames will return and reverse the process, cutting off water to the town's 145 residents. The severe drought tightening like a vise across the Southeast has threatened the water supply of cities large and small, sending politicians scrambling for solutions.

But Orme, about 40 miles west of Chattanooga and 150 miles northwest of Atlanta, is a town where the worst-case scenario has already come to pass: The WATER HAS RUN OUT.

The above ‘eye catching’ texts out of Jeremiah 50:38 and 51:36 are but ‘two’ of ninety-eight others, that come from a 100 verse ‘discourse’ that describes the fate of our nation and its’ leader.

Israel’s IDF soldiers were pulled out of Gaza and within 11 months, through arms smuggling and illicit ‘deal doings’ with Egypt, Syria and Iran, the local arm of Hezbollah, quickly reared its’ ugly head. Gaza became a terrorist ‘cesspool’ and a 34 day war ignited from a constant ‘missile’ barrage on Israeli settlements caused the nation of Israel to retaliate!

THE BLOOD IS ON ‘OUR HANDS’

The nation Israel is speaking loudly today to its leaders in the Knesset, Supreme Court and there Prime Minister to REJECT the United States Secretary of States demands that the ‘enemies of Israel’ report to Annapolis Md. with Israel’s Prime Minister, for the ‘ultimate peace plan’ that unbeknownst to them, will bring with it the fulfillment of Psalm 83 and Isaiah 17:1!

Jeremiah's ‘100 verse discourse’ is very clear, in Washington DC there are over 30 zodiacs strategically located throughout the city, the prophet gives the report, the astrologers/Chaldeans are rejoicing and happy because they are ‘destroying’ God’s heritage and breaking His ‘everlasting inheritance covenant’, Genesis 17:9-10 and Psalm 105:7-11.

As you read through Jeremiah’s ‘discourse’, this rejoicing bites the ‘architect’, “Jeremiah 50:31 Behold, I am against thee, O you most proud, saith the Lord GOD of hosts: for thy day is come, the time that I will visit thee. 32 And the most proud shall stumble and fall, and none shall raise him up: and I will kindle a fire in his cities, and it shall devour all around him.

THE WORLDS REACTION

WE “have striven” against God’s ‘everlasting inheritance covenant, by ‘dividing’ we are “divided and broken” most likely by an earthquake? Payback does come!

Jeremiah 50:22 A sound of battle is in the land, and of great destruction. 23 How is the hammer of the whole earth cut asunder and broken! how is Babylon become a desolation among the nations! 24 I have laid a snare for thee, and you art also taken, O Babylon, and you were not aware: you art found, and also caught, because you have striven against the LORD.

TENNESSEE WAS THE FIRST STATE TO REPORT

The ‘discourse’ promises, “Jeremiah 50:38 A drought is upon her waters; and they shall be dried up: for it is the land of graven images, and they are mad upon their idols.

Washington DC is permeated with idols tucked in, on and under various structures throughout the city!

The prayers of the ‘people’ in Israel and Jerusalem have caught the ‘God of Israel’s’ attention just as they did before the ‘exile’ from Egypt!

Jeremiah 51:35 The violence done to me and to my flesh be upon Babylon, shall the inhabitant of Zion say; and my blood upon the inhabitants of Chaldea, (DC’s zodiac adepts) shall Jerusalem say. 36 Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will plead thy cause, and take vengeance for thee; and I will dry up her sea, and make her springs dry.

Wake up America, this “day of vengeance”, I believe will be meted out at a 'feast' the night before the Annapolis 'peace' conference or during the next day's conference in late November or early December 2007!

HE WHO HAS EARS TO HEAR, let him read Jeremiah’s 100 verse ‘discourse’ seeking wisdom, council and skill in understanding.
