Dispensational and Historic Premillennialism.
Dispensational Premillennialism: The return of Christ is preceded by the secret rapture of Christians, followed by the rise of Antichrist to rule during a literal three and a half year tribulation then Armageddon, followed by a millennial reign of the Jews centred in restored Jerusalem.
Historic Premillennialism: The rapture of the church happens after a period of tribulation, with the church being caught up to meet Christ in the air and accompany him to earth to share in his (literal or figurative) thousand year rule.

I don't understand the Historic view point. And please...I don't want to debate if its true or not. I just want to know what they are saying. Can anyone add light on this? I don't understand how the historic is so different than the dispensational view?
