wow...lots of vivd dreams recently! Sorry if I'm posting a little too much.

Last night I dreamed I taught children at a Christian school. This school had an ideal learning enviroment. I explained to the staff that when teaching, be sure to adapt the teaching style according to each child's personality, and home enviroment. Offically, I was only an assistant or subsitute teacher, but I was doing such a good job and the kids liked me so well, I was hired full time. I enjoyed my job.

After class, all the kids left except one. This boy had a violent home enviroment, and as a result, had anger problems and behavior problems. I was patient with him, and he became a well adjusted boy, eager to learn. He wanted to thank me to taking so much personal time and effort just to help me.

When I walked out to get into my car, I floated up to Heaven. I experienced Heaven in the dream as if from a child's persceptive. GOD said, "Welcome to Heaven!" and He proceeded to speak what the weather was going to be like (very pleasant sunny day, high 75 degrees...) and He spoke a little like a weather man as He said what He determined what the weather would be for that day. I also images of people in Heaven projected on clouds. GOD said I would really enjoy it there. He said that Johnny Cash was singing for the saints in Heaven ( I had wondered if he was up there) and GOD said "but Abraham was first" and I saw Abraham's image on a cloud. GOD had mentioned several other people, I don't remember their names, but I do remember Peter and Paul. GOD said He set aside a place in Heaven for me, a place where I can have fun just like a child. (GOD appeared as fantastic strong looking man wearing a white gown-like robe, and He had white hair and a white beard. He was seated on a great throne. ) This was important to me, because lots of nuturing was missing from my childhood, and I lived in constant fear of being abused...I could have all the joy of being child I never had in life, and even better joy than most children alive on the earth have. I felt confirmation that I am on a path that pleases GOD and I felt encouraged to stay on it. BUT I also felt this tension, for terrible things will happen to the earth, and many people will suffer.

After I was sent back to earth, slowly floating to the ground, I looked up to Heaven and I saw a bright white skeleton floating gently to the earth. The skeleton was wrapped in a shining cloud and surrounded by golden light. The skeleton also had various samples of metals...like copper, brass, iron, tin...that floated around him...as if to represent Mankind's history of metal working and forging from the first metal to be used to the lastest and greatest alloys. I didn't know what this meant...was this bad or good? GOD would only say,
"REMEMBER THIS - BECAUSE THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT"

I know the little boy in the dream represented myself, and I focused very hard on learning how to live right and I sought hard to have a pure heart...my soul is thanking me for seeking GOD. I know in the second part where I go to Heaven, GOD is reassuring me that I am on the right path, and He encourages me to stay on it. He also nutures me and reminds how truely a wonderful place Heaven is to look forward to.

Now the skeleton drifting down from Heaven in a shining clould with samples of metals I have no idea what it means...but I do remember each of the metals were mainly forged by people to create better and stronger weapons to defeat other people...better tools were just a fringe benefit.

A poster from another forum suggested the skeleton with each of the different metals floating around it, each a different one man has forged, represents the vision in Daniel 2:31:

31 "You looked, O king, and there before you stood a large statue—an enormous, dazzling statue, awesome in appearance. 32 The head of the statue was made of pure gold, its chest and arms of silver, its belly and thighs of bronze, 33 its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of baked clay. 34 While you were watching, a rock was cut out, but not by human hands. It struck the statue on its feet of iron and clay and smashed them. 35 Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver and the gold were broken to pieces at the same time and became like chaff on a threshing floor in the summer. The wind swept them away without leaving a trace. But the rock that struck the statue became a huge mountain and filled the whole earth. "

and the translation:
44 "In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever. 45 This is the meaning of the vision of the rock cut out of a mountain, but not by human hands—a rock that broke the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver and the gold to pieces.
"The great God has shown the king what will take place in the future. The dream is true and the interpretation is trustworthy."

GOD is about to smash all the empires; all the kingdoms of this world will come to an end, but GOD's kingdom will be established on earth forever and ever...and the new Jerusleum will be perfect....Revelation 21

Thank you for sharing that, and don't stop even if there are so many. You are making a record of them that you and others can recall later if needed.

The skeleton with the metals is what you said, but I would add that it seems to be emphasizing their deadly aspect, thus the skeleton. And coming down from heaven, because it seems to be something men want at first, but in the end it brings death.

hi,

the skeleton represents death to self...the end of flesh,
and living unto God.

the metals...are present in the body at about 1/10. silver
is included in this, but it is not known what part it plays...

it is interesting that the tithe represents 1/10 part...and we
give our whole complete selves to God, and reap a blessing
that we cannot contain(sometimes even understand).

the weapons...we are the weapons as we follow after the Lord
and He works out His purpose in our lives. as sticks come
together to form a mighty weapon in His hand, we are also
fitly joined together as the body of Christ.

rejoice!

blessings,

Psalm 107

1 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good;
his love endures forever.
2 Let the redeemed of the LORD say this—
those he redeemed from the hand of the foe,

3 those he gathered from the lands,
from east and west, from north and south. [a]

4 Some wandered in desert wastelands,
finding no way to a city where they could settle.

5 They were hungry and thirsty,
and their lives ebbed away.

6 Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble,
and he delivered them from their distress.

7 He led them by a straight way
to a city where they could settle.

8 Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love
and his wonderful deeds for men,

9 for he satisfies the thirsty
and fills the hungry with good things.

10 Some sat in darkness and the deepest gloom,
prisoners suffering in iron chains,

11 for they had rebelled against the words of God
and despised the counsel of the Most High.

12 So he subjected them to bitter labor;
they stumbled, and there was no one to help.

13 Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble,
and he saved them from their distress.

14 He brought them out of darkness and the deepest gloom
and broke away their chains.

15 Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love
and his wonderful deeds for men,

16 for he breaks down gates of bronze
and cuts through bars of iron.

17 Some became fools through their rebellious ways
and suffered affliction because of their iniquities.

18 They loathed all food
and drew near the gates of death.

19 Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble,
and he saved them from their distress.

20 He sent forth his word and healed them;
he rescued them from the grave.

21 Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love
and his wonderful deeds for men.

22 Let them sacrifice thank offerings
and tell of his works with songs of joy.

23 Others went out on the sea in ships;
they were merchants on the mighty waters.

24 They saw the works of the LORD,
his wonderful deeds in the deep.

25 For he spoke and stirred up a tempest
that lifted high the waves.

26 They mounted up to the heavens and went down to the depths;
in their peril their courage melted away.

27 They reeled and staggered like drunken men;
they were at their wits' end.

28 Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble,
and he brought them out of their distress.

29 He stilled the storm to a whisper;
the waves of the sea were hushed.

30 They were glad when it grew calm,
and he guided them to their desired haven.

31 Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love
and his wonderful deeds for men.

32 Let them exalt him in the assembly of the people
and praise him in the council of the elders.

33 He turned rivers into a desert,
flowing springs into thirsty ground,

34 and fruitful land into a salt waste,
because of the wickedness of those who lived there.

35 He turned the desert into pools of water
and the parched ground into flowing springs;

36 there he brought the hungry to live,
and they founded a city where they could settle.

37 They sowed fields and planted vineyards
that yielded a fruitful harvest;

38 he blessed them, and their numbers greatly increased,
and he did not let their herds diminish.

39 Then their numbers decreased, and they were humbled
by oppression, calamity and sorrow;

40 he who pours contempt on nobles
made them wander in a trackless waste.

41 But he lifted the needy out of their affliction
and increased their families like flocks.

42 The upright see and rejoice,
but all the wicked shut their mouths.

43 Whoever is wise, let him heed these things
and consider the great love of the LORD.

I don't know what that means, but I do have one question (not meaning to pick on you squirrel!)

Did you find that out of your body you had the same thoughts? did you still believe the same things about everything? Only perhaps a little clearer due to lack of body?? Or did your thoughts seem more "holy" for lack of a better word?? Just curious........hubby and I were discussing this topic the other night with a evangelical friend.

I don't if I was out of the body or in it, but after I was lifted up into Heaven, I felt like my youthfulness of childhood was restored. I became as a little girl in mind and heart. My thoughts were like a child's and I felt like I had been given back everything that life took out of me.

I guess my question was did you believe any differently?? Were you perfected, etc once you had shed your body. Or did you still believe the same things you always did, same desires -carnal or otherwise- same feelings, emotions, etc?? Hubby and I have been studying this topic and known a few people who had "out of the body" experiences.

Once I shed the body - all the carnal became irrevelant, all thoughts of the carnal body were gone, all anger went away, yes, I believe I was perfected. smile.gif
