What if a Nuclear Weapon was set off in New York

I'm really curious of everyones opinion. Also is it possible that this could happen before rapture??

The End and Last Things

Before I begin let me say to all that I am very well aware of the scripture that states no one knows the day or the hour concerning the second coming of Jesus Christ. However Jesus Christ while on earth made it clear we are to know the season of his coming. I would now like to quote another scripture which gives balance to the scripture about the day and the hour. It is a key sign for the season of the end; this is why Jesus said watch for the signs in the first place. Here is that scripture all Christians should read carefully.

1 Thessalonians 5:3-5

3 When people say, "There is peace and security," then sudden destruction will come upon them as travail comes upon a woman with child, and there will be no escape. 4 But you are not in darkness, brothers, for that day to surprise you like a thief. 5 For you are all sons of light and sons of the day; we are not of the night or of darkness.

This "peace and security" sign will occur when the future false Christ of Israel spoken by the prophet Daniel (also called the Antichrist) will bring about a peace agreement that holds in the Middle East, especially between Israel and her local neighbors. Not a cease-fire as is the case presently but a real peace agreement with Israel and her enemies. I believe 2009-2016 is the general time frame (in my opinion) for things as we know them to end, 2018 at the very latest. This with the peace agreement being made and broken as discussed in scripture. I could site lots of other theological points from scripture concerning the end of the world but I will not do that in this document. The information I have to share with you today is designed to give you the foundation to do further research, which if done by you will convince you that this time, you are NOT hearing another a false alarm.

Is this just more Peter crying WOLF? Why is it different this time?

The reason it is different this time is because of nuclear proliferation and nuclear terrorism. The almost surety of nuclear terrorist attack occurring in America within 1-9 years in today’s political and religious climate may already be unstoppable. Ignorance and false assumptions by many Americans including those in Congress concerning nuclear proliferation and its imminent danger is almost unbelievable. Part of the problem with American's current ignorance lies with the U.S and USSR’s past cold war. Because the former Soviet Union and the United States were able to keep from having a nuclear war through the (MADD) mutually assured destruction doctrine the average American assumes it should be easy to stop nuclear terrorism by a terrorist. Not so, in fact it is more difficult than any challenge of this century.

First of all besides the MADD military doctrine, America and the Soviet Union had satellite launch detection capability of any offensive launches by the other. The US and the former Soviet Union in spite of their differences were able to stop many near nuclear war disasters. This in spite of all the political posturing of that era they still were very much about preserving the peace. Religious nuclear terrorism's plan is much different however and it is anything but about keeping the peace, in fact its goal is to cause and to capitalize on the chaos nuclear terrorism will create. It is not concerned with collapsed or depressed economies it causes and does not care about innocent non-combatants killed. The most dangerous scenario of all with nuclear terrorism is that it does not need a nuclear weapon delivery system such as a missile to attack a country.

Nuclear terrorist weapon on a truck or cargo ship

The terrorists could put a nuclear weapon in a truck, a cargo ship to deliver it to any target they have access to. Nuclear weapons placed in trucks or cargo ships would not be detectable by satellite technology and would almost never be detectable by ground radiation detectors unless a solid lead of the weapons location was ascertained beforehand. Not to mention cargo containers inspected with x-ray and radiation detectors in the USA is less than 10 percent and worse than that percentage-wise worldwide.

No there are no star war detectors or secret black operation programs that can thwart or find nuclear weapons that are well hidden. Current radiation detectors are very limited and need to be within 300 yards of a weapon, so if you do not know the general area you have a serious problem. When a terrorist nuclear weapon is set off the problem of tracing it to an absolute verifiable point of origin is almost impossible. Technically you end up with a shell game of which country to destroy. This lack of tractability to the point of origin is extremely destabilizing to the entire world, not just to the United States of America. World War three could start very quickly just because of the panic created of not knowing the source country of the weapon set off by a terrorist.

Tracing a nuclear terrorist weapon back to its point of origin

Many reading might assume we could trace back to a source country of origin but I’m sorry that is just not the case. At best a nation might have intelligence of a possible source but no absolute. A hypothetical, lets say America is attacked with three nuclear terrorist weapons; the delivery system is two trucks and one cargo ship. The cities seriously damaged or destroyed for example purposes are New York, Los Angeles and Washington D.C. While America is recovering the military determines that one possible source of origin is Pakistan’s Kurdish tribal areas near the border, the other is Iran but military sources cannot rule out Syria either. What does the United States do?

Even if the USA or other country had excellent intelligence of the country of origin, but was still not sure what city then what? Should the United States wait for three more weapons to go off? Do you understand now how serious this is, the destruction of all of Pakistan, Iran, Syria becomes a very serious and real option. The destruction of multiple terrorist countries with the possibility of a billion deaths in order to save 5 billion lives could become very real possiblility if America is hit with a terrorist nuclear weapon. What about the innocent lives that would be lost in those countries? In order to evaluate that correctly one must put a value on the innocents lives lost in America and the cost of future loses by inaction and additional

Beginning of 70th week

18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. [This is the Lord’s “harpazo action”]

18:22 And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;

18:23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.

18:24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth. [This is in reference to MBG’s total history and not just her “great city” part at the time of the end]

End of 70th week

16:18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.

16:19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. [The Lord revisits the continent]

Let's let Jesus answer this one.

Mat 24:3 And as he sat on the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

Mat 24:21 for then shall be great tribulation, such as hath not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever shall be.
Mat 24:22 And except those days had been shortened, no flesh would have been saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. (the elect are STILL here through the Great Tribulation)
Mat 24:29 But immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

So yes, we will be here for all the upheaval that's coming to this wicked nation by the righteous judgments of God Almighty. America is a vile as any nation on Earth but you'd never know it from the apostate church establishment that worships this worldly country as if it's God's favorite.

His kingdom is NOT of this world....America is doomed along with the rest of the world. We will not suffer God's wrath (Day of the Lord) that starts with the Bowls judgments (Rev. 15 ) but we will taken out at the LAst trump (Rev. 10) BEFORE the wrath of God is poured out upon the wicked.

It would be very hard to pull off. The suitcase nukes require a polonium trigger, and polonium is very hard to get hold of, and VERY tricky to handle. It's effective 'shelf-life' for the purpose of making a trigger for a suitcase nuke is only about 6 months at the outside (3 is more realistic and reliable), so to get it through nefarious means, transport it to where you can make the trigger, and fit it to the device, ALL WITHOUT BEING DETECTED, is nigh on to impossible.

This would be way down low on my 'scale of worries.'

PS: I also need to note that it emits alpha particles, so anybody handling it has to be extremely well shielded. So unless a transporter of it is willing to die to carry it to its destination of use, he could not travel inconspicuously.......

Nothing would change for me. I would keep my focus on God and he never changes.

Return of Jesus Timeframe:

Many are speculating that Jesus will return in the next 10 yrs. He told us no one know the day or the hr...but He never said we couldn't figure out the year timeframe.

Now, regarding the rapture: we see one event in future Scripture where two people meet the Lord in the air: these two people are the two witnesses.

Now many look at this as a separate and unique event. But, Paul explicitly says: first the dead will rise then the living to meet the Lord in the air.

And of course the two witnesses are dead b4 God says "Come Hither"

Does not Scripture interpret Scripture. Line upon line, precept upon precept?

Paul also says that the anti christ will be revealed b4 the event. Who on earth would be more capable to reveal and indeed slay the anti christ but one of the two witnesses. Since the anti christ will have supernatural ability to fulfill his job, would it not be necessary that his opposition has supernatural ability to oppose him.

So this gives us a pretty good timeframe that is based line upon line and precept upon precept.

Regarding the 2nd coming of Christ, we know that although He freed us from the bondage of the law, that He Himself is always a law keeper. It is not that difficult for the giver of the law to keep the law. It is His nature.

By examining the law, we see that when a landowner has his land taken by a fellow jew who aids him regarding debt repayment etc.....that fellow jew has claim to the land for 49 yrs and on the jubilee year it reverts to it's original owner.

In the broader picture of things, God owns everything, yet has not yet executed the deed of full repatriation of the land...this would require the end of the world as we know it.
We see in Scripture that when the 7th seal is opened, there is a silence in heaven because of the things that are about to come to pass upon the earth. The opening of the 7th seal would indicate that the executor of the deed, the heir of the promise, has begun to take action regarding the ownership of the land. If the land is not willfully returned to the owner, then it has to be taken by force.

The Mt of Olives is clearly one of the last places where the owner goes to reclaim the land. Indeed Scriptures say, it will be split in two and the two seas will be reunited...medit and dead...this water reunification would represent a cleansing element of baptism for the land itself that would be fully polluted with sin and death due to the Tribulation war.

So when did the Mt of Olives come back into Jewish national hands. That would be 1967.
We know that calendars are mostly correct during this time period. We also know that in a heavenly sense, calendars are probably not correct since the death and resurrection of Christ Jesus because it would be satans goal to add to or take from the calendar of man so as to confuse many regarding the Scriptures and the statement that 1000 yrs is like 1 yr....to God....so looking at a calendar in a 2000 yr perspective, although perhaps a semblance of reality, we can assume it is not accurate.

But we do know that they are accurate since 1967. If that is the case, we look at the jubilee construct that is part of the mosaic law and can say with some trepidation that the land should revert to it's rightful owner by 2017....which in this case would be the approximate time of Christ's 2nd coming which in all likelihood would be preceeded by the rapture of the saints and the Great Tribulation.
