My Dad has had 4 jobs in 3 years. All he has been able to get is consulting jobs. These jobs have no vacation, no over time, and he only works when needed, which means he doesn't get a steady pay check.

My Dad told me last night he got a job offer from IBM ! The only draw back of the IBM job is that he will have to travel from job to job, so he'll will be flying to another city, staying on a hotel for however long he's needed at that job, then flying home, and only will be home weekends.

He will have good benefits, paid vacation, and a regular paycheck, as well as 401k benefits!
