I was just wondering if anyone has heard about this Movie? You might take a look at the link.... what I have read makes me sick! I just wanted to see if anyone else had heard of the books and the Movie? Apparently the children kill God in the final Book. Whew.... just wanted to give a heads up for parents that might take their kids to see the movie. It is to come out in December. Just another tool that Satan is using.... He certainly has his sites set on our children!

I'd have to read it to see if this is true. Just because someone says it's evil doesn't mean it is. We, the strong in faith, must weather through the world, good and evil, to find the truth. If it is as you say, we probably should continue the warning.

So the film itself is fairly tame, but if it sparks an interest in a child to buy the books, that's where the problem will start. If someone must watch it, make sure they're strong in faith!

I've read the books, and yes, I can honestly say its VERY anti-Christian. Killing God is only part of the blasphemy, they go on to state that Satan was good, God was evil and a liar (that he really didn't create the world), the Church is portrayed as a monstrosity, doing horrible experiments on young children, and at the very end of the trilogy, the main characters re-create the fall of Adam and Eve, only its portrayed as good thing.

The author, Philip Pullman, is a notorious atheist.

I thought you might be interested in looking at what the official website from the movie. Whew... they are making no bones about it. Up on top click where it says daemons. It proceeds to tell you that in Lyra's world... that a person's soul lives on the outside of their body it does this through a form of a "daemon"

Then it goes on to tell you that a child's daemon can take on many shapes.... This is just crazy!
