For several days, whenever I see the color or hear the word, "orange" it makes my whole being shake.

Colors have meanings in the bible and orange refers I *feel* to Revelations 19:15 more so than maybe other scriptures.

Then last night I went to bed late and as I lay there, I suddenly could smell heavenly perfume. I have had a few other encounters with heavenly perfume, but this was so strong, so very strong. I lay there just basking in the moment of this smell. The reason that I am one person that would be sure of what this is, is because I am allergic to perfumes and so I have none in my home - so there is no way that this smell could come into my home. The first time it happened, I remember not knowing what it was and looking around for how perfume could be in my home - knowing in my heart that there was no way. Then after basking for a few moments in this lovely perfume smell I felt like I knew something. That someone was going to call me. Then I looked around my room and wondered what I should do and I just had this feeling of whatever it was about that I would receive the message - so I did nothing and waited.

My phone rang a little later.

I know that I know that I know these things tie into something to do with the LORD bringing forth prophesy, a fullfillment of prophesy is coming.

When I read flying squirels dream about night into day; it made me again sense, feel that prophesy is about to come forth and be fullfilled.

That GOD is about to strike the nations, and HE Himself will rule them with a rod of Iron
(I know there is the mention of Iron in Daniel as well. I will go devle into it further as to the nations that this must be involve) this is the prophesy coming forth. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

God, for some reason, is lettting me know this is about to take place. (I always ask myself why me because I am no one special, but God tells the unspecial people for some reason and I tell everyone)

The past couple of days when I have awakened and look outside, I sense it is too quiet, something is going on - that I can not see with my human eyes.

I sense that the Lord wants us to know, to look for it, HE is fullfilling prophesy.
Even the trees move, yet there is no sound.

Be on watch - something from heaven is about to be fullfilled.

Just for you ASC2...

i was sure i had rememberd seeing something written about it, and i too have been thinking and seeing "orange". lately, alot.
but i looked and looked here, and found nothing.

and now here you are today with your post.

so i am glad.

what i had wanted to do was find it and post about 'orange'.

does anyone remember the "gates" that were put on display in central park, in New York City, not so long ago?

how very ODD it was?

an art display, ...20 YEARS in its planning! it was just BIZARRE.

and the color of "The Gates"?

orange.

"the gates" of new york. are wide open.
orange is the color of warning/caution.

here is the official site of "The Gates".

http://www.christojeanneclaude.net/tg.html

i know, that i remember, somewhere, scripture speaks of "the gates". being left wide open....to attack. i will look for it.

ancient Babylon was left open to attack, while Belshazzar was feasting, the Medes/Persians entered under the gates, after diverting the river. --marched right in, while they were feeling secure, mocking God, while "glorifying the gods of gold and silver, copper, iron, wood and stone". -Dan. 5:4

it seems that many have been complaining that america is wide open to attack because they have not secured their borders, while they chase after the god of oil.

i do not know, but, i am watching with you.

"the gates" were shaped like a winding 'river'. in the color orange.

and the people would walk under them....

(like following a "yellow brick road" (?) that really, led to 'nowhere' --the diappointment of trusting in mere money and men?)

New York has recieved 'warning'. and this world, which it represents as the 'capital city of the world', continues to receive 'warning'. get out of her!

The call is to repentance. to seek the True God. Repentance is called for.
but they have NOT repented
just a couple of days ago....the people Insisted upon the Removal of a display of the ten commandments ....right in NEW YORK CITY.
they were offended by it!

Anger, in the color Red!.....and the wine press will be trodden.
the Grapes of Wrath are ripe!

Guest,

Ha! For some reason I could not reply.
So, now I seem to be able to and I'll go for it.
Isn't it wierd how you were looking for ORANGE and I had posted about it?
Our Lord has done that to me many times, where I felt compelled to come to this site. And I don't come here that often.

TODAY

I was awakened before the sun came up and it was sudden.
I lay there and listened and it was so quiet that I could hear the clock tick, tick, tick.
It was like I could hear my own body.
I also jump at the slightest thing.

I just sense it is TOO QUIET

Guest is right ORANGE is warning.

Miki I did not know about the Orange for the Gaza

nor did I know about the ORANGE GATES in NY - that was interesting.

GATES being opened - perhaps something is vulnerable to attack?

OR the time is ready, the GATES are OPENED and so prophsey will be fullfilled.

I just can't shake this.

And I feel a little better knowing that you are sensing this as well my friend.

Guest
this thought should really perhaps be a separate topic, but it is related to the hand-writing on the wall.

encoded in the very words of "mene mene, tekel and parsin"
you can actually calculate the number 2520.

here is how, and why:

all three words can be understood as ancient units of money.

Mene can mean 'numbered' or 'mina' (a unit of money)
Tekel can mean 'weighed' or 'shekel'
Peres (the singular form of Parsin) can mean divided or Persia or a half mina, or a half shekel.

in the "study helps" in the back of the NIV study bible, there is a

Weights and Measures table:

Talent = (60 minas)
Mina = (50 shekels)
Shekel = (2 bekas)
Pim = (2/3 shekel)
Beka = (10 gerahs)
Gerah (the basic unit of measure)

based upon the table, then this is true:
Mina = 1000 gerah
shekel = 20 gerah
parsin = 500 gerah (if counted as half of mina)

mene, mene (2 X 1000) = 2000
shekl = 20
parsin = 500

so the total is 2520 gerah. (in basic monetary unit)

the fall of Jerusalem to babylon was 586 BCE.
add 2520 years and you are at 1935.

Haggai and Zechariah (2) were written in the year 520 BCE.
add 2520 years and you are at 2001.

add 70 years (for captivity) to 1935 and you are at 2005.

Haggai and Zechariah wrote about fiinshing the unfinished temple...

in their time, they finished the rebuilding of the temple in the 70th year after the destruction of the first temple. 586-516 BCE.

(the first part of this post is easier to demonstrate than the second half....but the scriptures tell the story and time frame, and can be coincided with historically accepted dates.)

at any rate, 2001 seemed a pegged year.
and so does 2005. (516 BCE + 2520 years= 2005)

(i personally think the "spiritual temple" is about to be finished....and the capstone is to be brought out, with shouts of "how charming! how charming!"----but the counterfeit appears around the same time!)

is it Mordechi ??? or Haman???

But the hand of Jehovah is not too short, and he is certainly working, behind the scenes, as if hidden, and the outcome will occur just as he wishes it to. and exactly like he foretold it to be. Everything that is written will prove to be. Do not lose faith. But watch, and see, and be utterly amazed at what our God will do...(but "who has despised the day of small things?!!!"- for it was David that slew Goliath)

Remember: we must worship and obey the Only True God, Creator of heaven and earth.
there shall be no other gods before Him.
and we must love our neighbor as ourself.

You can give love but you can't make someone else receive it... sad.gif

Reminds me of that song, 'Since I Fell For You'

When you just give love, and never get love,
you'd better let love depart.

I know it's so, and yet I know,
I can't get you out of my heart.

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink....

Many a Jew have tried to love their Arab moslem neighbors. I've seen it here and there over the years....I've seen it shoved back in their faces....

I think of Jesus when he said Oh Jerusalem, Jerusalem how often I have longed to gather your children together as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing. ...

It's the one verse in the Bible that stirs such emotions in me....

you just can't make them drink. sad.gif
Guest
yes miki, Jesus was greatly distressed, and he cried too. he wept over the city, observing it from a distance.

but your post reminded me of this children's rhyme:

1,2 buckle my shoe.
3,4 shut the door, (some versions say open the door)
5,6 pick up sticks,
7,8 lay them straight,
9,10 a BIG FAT HEN!

as they say, "it aint' over till the fat lady sings".

out of the mouth of children he has brought forth praise.
Guest
I don't know what you mean by this?
Guest
i have suspected that even this children's rhyme has truth hidden in it.
perhaps it relates even to years.
2001, 2, and so forth.

certainly, the ones being prepared, (the buckling of the 2 shoes)
has already begun....

the feet are the lowest part of the body. there are two, and they go only where the head direccts them to go.

Jesus washed the feet of his disciples....this was enough to make the whole body clean.

Jesus own feet were washed too, but by whom?

the great mystery is nearing its finish.

I am looking out my window right this minute and the moon is full and orange.

No doubt that something about his is important.
Guest
miki, and to continue with the scriptutre you referenced, what were Jesus' very next words?

...."LOOK! Your house is abandoned to you!"

isn't that right? In 70 CE the temple was destroyed. I watched a program about 'messiah' the other night, on like, history channel or something. Naturally they spoke about Jesus. but they also talke about the many other false 'political' 'messiahs' that came and went and led uprisings against Rome....these others all came to nothing.

It is very important to consider how Jesus brought salvation. it was not by means of political force, or rebellion, or uprising. he did not even ride into Jerusalem upon a horse, but rather, a lowly ---, and her colt.

He is the Prince of Peace, and his followers were instructed not to take up the sword against men. for those who live by the sword will also die by the sword. but the weapons of our warfare are spiritual ones.
the spiritual armor. breastplate, sheild, helmet, etc. but what is our weapon?
it is the sword of the spirit. God's word is a sword, and a fire.
it is sharp and awesome and frightening to handle and weild.

one wrong use, and easily we can cut ourselves to shreds..

we really need God's help, and all things will be accomplished, not by military force or might, not by the cunning of men, not by strength,
by "BY MY SPIRIT", is the word of the LORD. (Zechariah)

some of the natural branches were lopped off, and wild olive branches were grafted in, but in order to grow, we must remain in connection with the tree and the root. cut off, a branch withers and dies, for it has no source within itself.

But Jesus said clearly about Jerusalem, that their house was abandoned to them. They had rejected the true messiah. they totally missed him....and they killed the very one sent to them. (consider the parable of the vinyard Owner who sent his servants to gather some of the produce; they rejected all of these, (the prophets) and then he finally sent his own son....but they killed him too, thinking they would kill the heir and inherit the vineyard as their own. What did the owner do to them, in the parable?)

But it worked out the purpose of God....just as it is written.

The jews were confident of their heritage, saying our Father is Abraham!
But Jesus said, "Do not say, 'as a father we have Abraham!'; for i tell you the truth, God is able to raise up children for Abraham, even from these stones!

For a certainty, i percieve that God is not partial, but in every nation, the man that fears him and exercises faith in his Son, is acceptable to him. (-written somewhere.)

and thus the good news began to be preached to the Gentiles...and some of these believed.

God is calling out his own, from every nation of men.
He knows the ones whom are his.

nationality, or race, has nothing whatsoever to do with it.
But the ones that DO the will of God-- these are Jesus' brother and sister and mother.

Color me orange

By Paula R. Stern May 24, 2005

Unlike many in Israel, including hundreds of thousands of Jews born in Eastern European or Arab countries, I have always had the honor and luck to live in a democracy. Born in the United States and then having relocated to the only real democracy in the Middle East, I have always been proud of the lengths to which our justice system has gone in order to protect the democratic rights of the inhabitants of Israel.

Having stated without reservation that I am proud to live in a democratic country, one dedicated to honoring the individual while serving the whole, I feel free now to admit my utter amazement at the actions of the police and security forces. I am not surprised that Ariel Sharon's government is afraid of everything orange. Orange, the color of the sunrise.
Orange is the color of those who oppose Sharon's plan, but in its own way, orange is becoming the voice of democracy in a country where suddenly irrational fear is replacing freedom and paranoia is rampant. What else is it but paranoia when security guards at the Western Wall spend more effort determining the color of a child's shirt or bracelet than the contents of a backpack?

user posted image

What else but irrational fear would cause security guards at the Knesset to confiscate orange scarves from a delegation of Indian visitors simply because of the color? What did they think the Indians were going to do? Did they fear our honorable leaders would be strangled? Was something possibly hidden by or under the scarves? No, the security threat to the nations leaders came from the simple fact that the scarves were orange. Orange, the color of the sunshine.

Young girls wearing orange t-shirts were refused entry to the Western Wall. A boy wearing an orange t-shirt under other layers of clothing was forced to undress before being allowed to proceed. If you approach the Western Wall wearing an orange bracelet, the new police regulations suggest you will be forced to remove it or surrender your right to pray at Judaism's second holiest site (the first being the actual Temple Mount itself).
A boy wanting to take part in the national Bible competition was refused the right to participate until he removed or covered his orange t-shirt. Bracelets, orange strips of material, t-shirts, hats. All forbidden because of the color -- and more importantly the fact that it represents opposition to the government's plan. Orange, the color of the sunset.

A Knesset member was ejected from the proceedings because he donned an orange hat. He did not scream, as they are wont to do, nor did he threaten. The simple act of putting on an orange hat was enough. And the more the Sharon government exhibits this incredible reaction to orange, the more powerful the symbol becomes.

Day by day, Israel is turning orange as people realize that Sharon's plan endangers the security of our country. Top IDF members have expressed their hesitation. The highest officers are warning that Hamas is re-arming and getting ready to thrust yet another, more intense terror battle against us.

According to some dream-related websites, orange can symbolize "generosity, optimism and nobility." Dreams in orange, says one site, are usually associated with "warmth, sunshine and brightness." But there is another side to orange, suggests the text. Orange is also "a warning, or a caution."

Those who chose orange to symbolize the anti-expulsion plan could not have chosen better. As Israel colors itself in orange, we are sending a signal that we believe in the bright future of Israel.

We are committed and optimistic that the sun will shine on us. But we are also issuing a warning that we are not blinded by either the sun or Sharon's plan. We see what it will do to Israel. We know, as he has forgotten, that the so-called "unilateral disengagement" is anything but true disengagement and anything but a fulfillment of the promise of peace and security Sharon once made to the people of Israel.

As my children go to school with their orange t-shirts and I drive my car draped in the colors of protest, I realize that orange has become the symbol of democracy itself, the right to protest, the right to withhold support, the right to voice opposition. It amazes me that something as simple as a color could come to symbolize not only something we hold so precious, our freedom, but also the lengths to which a corrupt government will go to stop this legitimate expression of our concerns. Out of his blind fear and paranoia has been born the power of orange.

By Paula R. Stern
May 2005

Unlike many in Israel, including hundreds of thousands of Jews born in Eastern European or Arab countries, I have always had the honor and luck to live in a democracy. Born in the United States and then having relocated to the only real democracy in the Middle East, I have always been proud of the lengths to which our justice system has gone in order to protect the democratic rights of the inhabitants of Israel.

Having stated without reservation that I am proud to live in a democratic country, one dedicated to honoring the individual while serving the whole, I feel free now to admit my utter amazement at the actions of the police and security forces. I am not surprised that Ariel Sharon’s government is afraid of everything orange. Orange, the color of the sunrise.

Orange is the color of those who oppose Sharon’s plan, but in its own way, orange is becoming the voice of democracy in a country where suddenly irrational fear is replacing freedom and paranoia is rampant. What else is it but paranoia when security guards at the Western Wall spend more effort determining the color of a child’s shirt or bracelet than the contents of a backpack?

What else but irrational fear would cause security guards at the Knesset to confiscate orange scarves from a delegation of Indian visitors simply because of the color? What did they think the Indians were going to do? Did they fear our honorable leaders would be strangled? Was something possibly hidden by or under the scarves? No, the security threat to the nation's leaders came from the simple fact that the scarves were orange. Orange, the color of the sunshine.

Young girls wearing orange t-shirts were refused entry to the Western Wall. A boy wearing an orange t-shirt under other layers of clothing was forced to undress before being allowed to proceed. If you approach the Western Wall wearing an orange bracelet, the new police regulations suggest you will be forced to remove it or surrender your right to pray at Judaism’s second holiest site (the first being the actual Temple Mount itself).

A boy wanting to take part in the national Bible competition was refused the right to participate until he removed or covered his orange t-shirt. Bracelets, orange strips of material, t-shirts, hats. All forbidden because of the color…and more importantly the fact that it represents opposition to the government’s plan.

Day by day, Israel is turning orange as people realize that Sharon’s plan endangers the security of our country. Top IDF members have expressed their hesitation. The highest officers are warning that Hamas is re-arming and getting ready to thrust yet another, more intense terror battle against us.

According to some dream-related websites, orange can symbolize “generosity, optimism and nobility.” Dreams in orange, says one site, are usually associated with “warmth, sunshine and brightness.” But there is another side to orange, suggests the text. Orange is also “a warning, or a caution.”

Those who chose orange to symbolize the anti-expulsion plan could not have chosen better. As Israel colors itself in orange, we are sending a signal that we believe in the bright future of Israel.

We are committed and optimistic that the sun will shine on us. But we are also issuing a warning that we are not blinded by either the sun or Sharon’s plan. We see what it will do to Israel. We know, as he has forgotten, that the so-called “unilateral disengagement” is anything but true disengagement and anything but a fulfillment of the promise of peace and security Sharon once made to the people of Israel.

Out of his blind fear and paranoia has been born the power of orange.

but, is the battle ours, miki? should we "ride upon horses!"?, or does the battle and vengence belong to God?

and what nation, politically, contains all of God's 'holy ones', so that we might pick up arms to fight for them, or defend them?

did Jesus' followers pick up arms to defend him? Jesus said that if his kingdom were from this souce, (earthly kingdoms of men) then his followers would have fought!

True, God did, in times past, work exclusively with the nation of Israel. But is that true today? for as i read scripture, God has called his people 'out of every nation of men'. That nation, as a nation, rejected the Messiah, and so, they were, in turn, rejected by God. He turned to the gentiles. but this, however, does not exclude individuals from the nation of Israel....or from any nation of men.
for are we not judged individially?

but the weapons of our warfare are spiritual ones, and powerful by the word of God, for over-turning stongly entrenched things. (reasonings)

and what of God's Spirit? is it not what will accomplish the will of God?

i have more to say...the topic is vital ....but i have to get ready to go somewhere at the present.

but please let us consider this matter further....i will be back and hear what you have to say.

with love, and compassion. for i see your passion.

Oh Miki and BZ.....c'mon now, weren't we talking about the color orange? smile.gif

Alright I just realized I reposted the same link twice! DUH...I'm going to get some caffeine...I'm getting upset and obsessed with this orange thing! blink.gif
Miki
bz,

What nation should we turn to? I don't believe the battle and the sides we choose should be political and l've mentioned that before in other posts.

But l also don't think we should lay down and die or allow ourselves to be taken captive. I can't even think what you would have us do in the real world.
Do you think the Holy Spirit will deliver us from our enemies if we pray?

It's happened in the past but it probably won't happen on a national level for our country until after chastisement. That doesn't mean if there's a draft my boys shouldn't go (God forbid).

Sometimes it's almost like you guys want to see people get theirs....I say woe to you.... unsure.gif

I'm not mad or self rightous but afraid for you.

Miki,

How old are you boys? Just curious. The thing is that the Bush administration has ruined it for anyone that wants to enlist in any sort of armed services!! Why? Alot of them do not believe the war in Iraq was for a 'just cause'. They claimed there was weapons of mass destruction there.........YET..........they didn't find any! Suprise, suprise! Bush was just listening to his daddy so he could finish up his daddy's war in Desert Storm to get rid of Saddam Hussain once and for all. Also, the fact that BUSH IS AN OILMAN......and wants all the oil........well, it was not justified. Now..........all the young kids know and understand that. Anyone with a brain can realize that Miki! So, nobody will enlist because of what the Bush administration did. Therefore, in the future.............look for a draft! Because that is what is going to happen! There will not be enough people wanting to join up an any type of armed forces and that is a shame. That is the way it is now, and we cannot turn back time unfortunately! I pray for your boys Miki, and I pray there will not be a draft. But given, if there is another huge attack on America----you can guarantee there will be a draft! You can also guarantee that 'Martial Law' will follow and flood all of the United States. I can find quotes from Ashcroft and Tommy Franks. I'll quote it on the Martial Law thread. sad.gif

I think Kim has a point. We all (ALL) must remember that we are amongst witnesses. We must view others higher then we view ourselves, we must love one another, for that is how the world will know we belong to Lord.

I disagree about the war in Iraq, It was/is a "Biblical" war. I believe it is the first horn on the ran of Daniel 8. And don't judge the war by what you hear on tv. I know many eye witnesses that say otherwise about the weapons of mass destruction.

We need to pray for our nation............ our nation that consists of our next door neighbor, our parents, our children, brothers, sisters...... OUR WAY OF LIFE....................... If we critisize our nation then there is nothing to pray for. Critisisim is something people do instead of praying.
Marta
Very true Kim and thank you for bringing it to my attention. Sometimes I can get caught up too much in stuff like that and it becomes very discouraging. When I read the Bible though it is comforting. So what does that tell me? Yes, I need to read the Bible more and pray more! Please pray for me that I will find peace in my government.

Thank you. biggrin.gif
Miki
There's so much more to what is happening in the Middle East than meets the eye. Syria is Iraq's back door.

Don't just look at the obvious picture the media paints Marta. The President of the US knows so much more of what's really going on than the media will ever find out.

Trust God. He puts men in power and can turn a kings head to the left or to the right.

ps And by the way Kim...my husband's the same and l constantly try to keep him from knowing what really goes on between Christians and it isn't just this forum. It's everywhere. Just try to do it right yourself. That's were the real witness is.

A mandatory mark or a piece of cloth of specific geometric shape, worn on the outer garment in order to distinguish a person of certain religion or ethnicity in public, yellow badge is traditionally associated with persecution of Jews. In some countries a badge was accompanied or replaced by identifying garb or hat. In the Middle Ages clothes worn by different groups of people were regulated by law.

The color yellow had been maligned since feudal times. Horses that were yellowish were considered worthless throughout society (as seen in the obsolete phrase, to curry Fauvel, a conventional name of a yellow horse). All other colors were used by knights on their shields, so yellow was left to brand the Jews.

Kim,

I say this to you, that how can one convince someone of a cure if one does not even know his disease? They have to be convicted in their hearts that they are not living in the Spirit, but by their flesh. They do not feel a good sense of conviction if they break one of the Ten Commandments. By teaching through the Law of Moses it will speak to their con-sciousness instead of by speaking from the mouths of the prophets.........this is exactly what Ray is saying.

Watch this video here of 'Hell's Best Kept Secrect' by Ray Comfort and Living Water Ministries -->http://www.livingwaters.com/

I have really enjoyed a lot of what they preach and how they preach it.

Click on the television link and then online episodes. Again, I have advocated this weblink and video before on this forum. Click on the 'Firefighter' Episode....watch the entire thing...have your husband watch it, it speaks to your soul and the end when he is speaking to the little boy in the red shirt....my soul never cried so hard in my life. THAT was amazing, watch it because it is worth it! Most of all, have your husband watch it. biggrin.gif

"Orange Crush" ...

..a soda pop that I enjoyed as a child, and still enjoy, even today...

Daniel was a given an interpretation, revealed to him by God, of a dream God gave to Nebuchadezzar, the king of Babylon.

It is recorded in Daniel, chapter 2.

The outcome of everything, is foretold in verses 44 and 45.

God's Kingdom, the one HE sets up, with Christ as King, will "break in pieces" and consume all these kingdoms, and it itself shall stand for ever." --see for yourself what is written in Daniel.

This is what God's Kingdom will do to men's kingdoms....all of them.
God's Kingdom is what I pray for to come...as we have been instructed to do, by the great teacher, Jesus, in what we know as "the Lord's Prayer".

One version of scripture renders this verse this way: "It (God's kingdom) will CRUSH, and put an end to all these kingdoms and it itself will stand to times indefinite."

This is the word of our God.

Do you know what it is you pray for? when you pray the words,

"THY KINGDOM COME.....THY WILL BE DONE."

???

Perhaps a consideration of the book of Daniel, and the dream given to the king, Nebuchadnezzar, is worthy of our consideration.

For it is written: "However, there exists a God in the heavens who is a Revealer of secrets, and he has made known to King Nebuchandezzar what is to occur in the FINAL PART OF THE DAYS. Your dream and the visions of your head upon your bed--this it is:" -Daniel 2:28

So it is important for us to understand the dream and its interpretation, as it is written for us, as we are living in the "final part of the days".

Would anyone care to consider this? a new topic heading would do well, for a discussion among us, of this.

love,
bz

Thy Kingdom come.

We can't have a Kingdom, without a King. Let our King come!

John the Baptist and Jesus said: The Kingdom is at hand.

Mark 1;15

verse 12 Amplified Bible
the (Holy) spirit [from within] drove Him out into the wilderness

My point is :
the Spirit drove Jesus. (2 different persons within the Trinity)
