The day of Christ speaks of Christ return for the 144,000 that will rule and reign for a 1,000 yrs, big difference. One is judgement, the other is reward. Paul told in 2 Thess. 2:2 that some had tried to say the day of Christ was at hand, by word, spirit and letter, which he indicates were forgeries, or written and sent as if by him.
