I wish more kids had your enthusiasm for the Word, but keep in mind that Christ also said that those who would follow him also have to take up the cross. I have read and heard of testamonies were guns have been pointed at Christians but would not work(wonder why!!!) but work when pointed away!!
Perhaps John had a revalation of this scripture as i believe from what i've heard they tried various ways to kill him but couldn't so he died of old age! Just goes to show how strong and mighty love is!!

I spent wo hours today writing a message the Lord gave me, and I lost it when I tired to edit, unfortunately I didn't first write it on word.
I wanted to comment on this because sometimes we forget that when judgement was coming to Egypt the Lord asked the children of Israel to place the blood over the doorpost and the lintel and the death angel would passover the house,
It reminded me and also that the blood is like a covering . There is so much power in the blood and today the blood is rarely talked about or the cross. The blood has never lost its power. Stay under the blood.
I posted another message previous to this that was given in 2001 by Johan Boot and it talked about the fires of persecution but the glory of God, and it also mentions being washed by the water of the word.
Some of us have allowed the Lord to take us through the wilderness, and have tried us, and are still being tried and we look to the Lord to send us out in His name to be torch bearers to bring the gospel to the lost through out the world. i know I am not perfected but I press on to the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus

Hello, this is my first post on here, so if it looks a bit messy I'm still getting used to working it!
I came across this post completely by accident, as I was actually looking for lyrics on the internet and stumbled upon your page.
I have to completely agree with your views, working through God's love can make the impossible possible.
I was looking for lyrics to the song "I Wish You Well" by Mariah Carey which directly quotes "No Weapon Formed Against Me Shall Prosper". I am a theology and religious studies student, but am not familiar with the texts of the Bible off my head, but had to search for this one because I felt so touched by it.
It made me see how, no matter what happens in your life, no matter what the devil may try, God's love will prevail. If you accept God's love into your life, and accept God's plan for you, and fully understand that He has marked out a path for you - you will be safe.
Before I finish my post I would like to quote the 'thank you' section of Mariah Carey's album sleeve as I think it is beautifully worded on how I like to live my life;
"Sing to the lord for he has done glourious things; let this be known to all the world. Isaiah 12:5
Above all things, thank you Almighty God. For every blessing, especially the knowledge that I am nothing without you"
