I was in a car accident today and I am asking for prayer that if they consider my car a total loss that they would give me enough money to find a good replacement and not just what the blue book value is.

I'm am alright thank the Lord. My car was not moving. I was stopped at a red light and the elderly man in front of me was driving a hug pickup truck.

We were having a traffic jam and he decided he wanted to turn around. He could not see my car that sat much lower than his mirrors...so he thought nobody was behind him and backed up. The steel trailer ball went under my car and the whole front end crunched up.

Of course his insurance is paying for the damage and also my car rental.....but considering how much it is most likey going to total with mechanical repairs and then body....I don't know what to expect.

Even though I have a very good engine and transmission in my car.....it is not a very recent model.

Paid off is what I like and my car has been paid off for awhile now. I'm not looking forward to more car payments if they total this one and don't give me what I will need to spend for a decent car.

Anyway....I can't say how much I thank you for your prayers.

Thanks so much you guys. The insurance adjuster is going to look at the car tomarrow and I hope give me an answer on Monday.

He said that he had heard it is fixable...but then they may still consider it a total loss. Not sure yet.

I just am asking God to turn this into a blessing for me either way.
