Hello all...gosh, I seem to be dreaming a lot again..so here's another one.

I went to bed last night praying as I always do. At some point I was telling the Lord that I was excited about the meteor shower that was going to happen in the wee hours of Sunday morning (today). I really wanted to see it. Eventually, after nudging my husband 3 or 4 times for snoring LOL..I fell asleep.

My dream began and I was outside looking up at the stars..waiting for the shower to begin. I did not know I was dreaming..it was so real that in my dream I was thanking the Lord for waking me up to see it! My husband was with me and we were lying in lawn chairs watching the show. A huge green fireball raced across the sky...I was shocked...I said 'that was the biggest meteor I've ever seen!" I was really excited..it was all so beautiful..they were flitting by so fast against the clear nighttime sky. At some point the meteors turned into fireworks and I was in awe of what the Lord was showing me...at that point, I finally knew I was dreaming.

The fireworks ended and Sean & I were sitting there still looking up at the stars when out of the sky appeared two shapes..they were tumbling right towards us. I was frightened at that point because the baby was in the house. I was kept repeating, "what is that?!" As the shapes tumbled closer I could see they were shaped like satellites..which really perplexed me. Finally the two tumbling satellites merged into one and it landed in my yard. It was a huge lion, but it stood on it's hind legs. The lion's hind legs were made up of the satellite...but his upper paws and head were normal fierce lion looking. It turned and looked at us..I said, Is that a real lion? and it started shooting at us! (Sean never said a word in my dream which I found very strange at the time...) I grabbed Jamin and Sebastian and yelled...get to the house! We ran in and I kept telling Jamin that he had to protect the Sebastian and the baby while mommy and daddy took care of this. I was opening up a box and pulled out two guns. I gave one to Sean and loaded mine.

With the kids safely in the bedroom together, Sean finally said..I don't hear anything..should we go out there? I said, yeah...it's out there, let's go. He went first... I followed him down the hallway and Sean was standing there with the thing right in front of him, but Sean couldn't see him! The lion changed into a skinny man with wild eyes and crazy big teeth...a lion in a man's body. It looked at me, I raised my gun and shot it in the jugular..perfect shot.

And so ends another one...any thoughts?
Love you all..blessings..

In a dream once a lion was stalking me. I discerned it was a demon. So as it drew up close to me, I turned and said to it "I rebuke you in the name of Jesus and I take command of you." Apparently it understood all of my words and gave me a startled and frightened look and left.

IS THIS SATAN AND THE FALSE PROPHET DEMON?.........REVELATIONS

.they were tumbling right towards us. I was frightened at that point because the baby was in the house. I was kept repeating, "what is that?!" JESUS IS A LION, BUT (FROM THE CHURCH'S POINT OF VIEW) HE'S NOT FIERCE TOWARD US, AND HE WON'T SHOOT AT US, OR SCARE US.

THE LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDAH = JESUS

It turned and looked at us..I said, Is that a real lion?

IT'S NOT A REAL LION..........IT'S A FAKE LION (THE ANTI-CHRIST)..........HE CLAIMS TO BE THE MESSIAH, BUT, HE'S A FAKE MESSIAH

and it started shooting at us! (Sean never said a word in my dream which I found very strange at the time...) I grabbed Jamin and Sebastian and yelled...get to the house! THE A/C WILL BE A MAN IN-DWELT BY SATAN...........A MAN CONTROLLED BY SATAN

SATAN (AND HIS DEMONS) ARE FAR SMARTER AND MORE POWERFUL THAN THE GREATEST MAN (NOT INCLUDING JESUS).

ANGELS ARE EXTREMELY STRONG AND SMART, COMPARED TO HUMANS (NOT COUNTING JESUS)

JESUS IS SUPERIOR TO ANY ANGEL OR DEMON OR SATAN, SINCE HE IS GOD.

It looked at me, I raised my gun and shot it in the jugular..perfect shot.

And so ends another one...any thoughts?

Lion, Symbol of
(From Forerunner Commentary) Amos 3:3-8 (Go to this verse :: Verse pop-up)

"A lion has roared" (Amos 3:8) concludes the section that began with "The Lord roars from Zion" (Amos 1:2). The Lord, "the Lion of the tribe of Judah" (Revelation 5:5), has roared against Israel to take heed. When a lion roars, anyone within hearing distance should change the direction of his path, especially if the lion is very close!

Amos 3:3-6 contains seven consecutive questions. After the first one (verse 3), the remaining three pairs of questions consist of a sequence of "before" and "after" illustrations:

When a lion roars (verse 4), he is warning others of his presence—there is still time to escape. When a young lion cries out of his den, however, he is content because he has killed and eaten. It is too late to escape.
Birds cannot fall into a snare when there is no trap (verse 5), but the trap always springs when one walks into it.
The trumpet warns of danger coming (verse 6), but it cannot sound if the watchman is already dead and the city has been taken.
The Lord has done what He warned He would do. While the threat is being made, one can still escape, but once judgment begins, it is too late.

When a lion sees his prey, he will try to kill it. When the divine Lion roars, the people need to shake off their complacency because His roar means He is about to spring into action! He means what He says about living His way of life, and He follows through when we depart from it.

Some people, like birds, unwittingly stumble into trouble. Oblivious to everything around them, they fall into traps, like being swindled by con men or crafty deceivers. God's people are often just like birds, unsuspectingly going to their destruction, unmindful of the dangers around them. In other words, God is warning: "Don't be a birdbrain!" We must think about the direction that we are heading. In His mercy, God always warns His people of coming calamity, either through His prophets (Amos 3:7) or through escalating disasters that lead to His ultimate judgment.

Unlike the other six questions, Amos 3:3 stands alone without a second question following it: "Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?" It pictures a couple who have arranged to meet and do something together; they have a date. In the language of the Bible, this agreement is a covenant. God considered His covenant with Israel to be a marriage (Isaiah 54:5; Jeremiah 3:8, 14). Could the silent second question be: "Can a marriage be restored if the bill of divorce has already been issued?"

God chose to withdraw Himself from Israel because He realized He had nothing in common with her. They could not walk together any longer. But in Amos' day, the divorce was not yet final; reconciliation between God and His people was still possible.

But there came a point in Israel's history that it was too late. The die had been cast. Repentance was no longer possible. The trumpet blew, the trap sprang, the lion pounced.

Through Amos, God is warning our nations today that similar, devastating calamities lie just ahead, and escape from them is still possible. As yet, the lion has not pounced—it is not too late.

1 Peter 5:8 (Go to this verse :: Verse pop-up)

The great deceiver, more often than not, works under cover of darkness. As a skilled and experienced hunter, he patiently stalks his prey, invisible to them (invisible is about as camouflaged as one can get!). His night vision is acute, his senses much sharper than ours. He sees us when we do not even know he is there!

Even now, he is stalking us.

Lifted up in their pride, he and his demons had the gall to hunt God's throne, but they were soundly routed (Isaiah 14:12-15; Ezekiel 28:16-17; Luke 10:18). Now, as our adversaries, they hunt God's people, trying to pick off the weak, the ailing, and those who have grown weary and dropped back from the herd. He is always looking for a way to maneuver us into a position by ourselves where he can leap out of nowhere to maul us. Once he attacks, he causes great pain—but he does not go immediately for the kill. He pins us down and wounds us first. Even while in his grasp, though, we can call out for help. "The LORD is near to all who call upon him, . . . He also hears their cry, and saves them" (Psalm 145:18-19, RSV).

Stalked by Satan

1 Peter 5:8 (Go to this verse :: Verse pop-up)

Christ is also symbolized as a lion, but not as a lion seeking to devour. Lion for Christ is used in the sense of "controlled, majestic power," but for Satan it is the symbol for one who is ruthless, stealthy, powerfully aggressive, bent on defending its turf, and destruction, often working from ambush. There are many similarities with the attributes of the "serpent."

A pride of lions will stalk and attack animals that are larger than they are—including wildebeest and water buffalo weighing thousands of pounds. It is a beautiful, deadly sight to watch lions working together as a team to bring a water buffalo down.

When lions attack, they do so through multiple attacks from every side. Eventually, one lion gets a grip on the throat of the water buffalo and kills it by strangulation. It is a slow and painful death. The water buffalo goes down, and the lions begin eating it before it is dead.

Satan is a lion, roaring, looking for and stalking whom he may devour. Male lions will even eat the young of their own pride to establish their dominance. It does not matter that they are related. If they are hungry, and a little kitten is around . . . one bite and it is gone.

1 Peter 5:8 (Go to this verse :: Verse pop-up)

The animal kingdom teaches us that predators like lions usually look for and attack the animals that are alone and have wandered away from the flock. Such strays are in an exposed position because they lack the protection afforded by the large numbers of others of like kind. Our adversary likes nothing better than pouncing on sheep who try to "go it alone."

We do not have to be so vulnerable! The protection of the flock is available. Our place and our protection are found in worshipping and fellowshipping with the people of God in "the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth" (I Timothy 3:15).

2 Peter 1:19-21 (Go to this verse :: Verse pop-up)

It is from verse 20 in particular that we derive the principle that the Bible interprets itself. This means that somewhere within the pages of Scripture, the timing, the location, the characters, and the symbols employed in symbolic texts like parables and prophecies are explained or defined. It is our job to search them out.

When we add the following three vital verses to our understanding of this principle, however, we end up with a very significant corollary:

u For I am the LORD, I do not change; therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob. (Malachi 3:6)
u Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (Hebrews 13:8)
u Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. (James 1:17)

Each of these verses proclaims God as constant, consistent, unchanging. It is this quality of God—that He is faithful to what He is—that allows us to trust Him. We can have confidence in God and His Word because He never changes! Could we rely upon a double-minded God (see James 1:6-8)? Could we have faith in a Being who constantly blew hot and cold? Never! With our God, though, we need not fear inconsistency.

Thus, if God is constant and His Word interprets itself, the corollary principle is that the Bible's interpretation of its symbols is consistent. This must be true! If the Bible gave us two contradictory interpretations of a symbol, how could we ever feel confident that we understood its meaning? This corollary underscores II Peter 1:19, where the apostle informs us that "the prophetic word [is] more sure" than even eyewitness accounts! We can have confidence in our understanding of the prophecies and parables if the symbols we interpret match what we understand in other areas of Scripture. Otherwise, we could never be sure!

This means that every symbol from Genesis to Revelation is consistent in its interpretation. If a rose means something in one part of the Bible, it will mean the same elsewhere, though the context may modify it slightly. If God is consistent, His Word—His revelation of Himself to us—must also therefore be consistent.

This conclusion may raise some questions. How can that be? How can, for instance, a lion represent Satan in I Peter 5:8 and Jesus Christ in Revelation 5:5? Is that not contradictory? Not at all! Our understanding is correct, but the meaning we give to the symbol is wrong. We have defined it too narrowly.

A study of the symbol of the lion brings out several characteristics the Bible emphasizes: It represents strength, predatory ferocity, majesty, and leadership. The lion is the symbol of a ruler, a king, and often a very fierce and powerful one. These are the general meanings of the symbol based on a lion's traits. They help us to comprehend what God wants us to focus on in the context. Thus, a lion can represent both Satan and Jesus because they both have a lion's characteristics.

Revelation 14:9-11 (Go to this verse :: Verse pop-up)

No person alive looks forward with any kind of wonderful anticipation to going through what these verses show.

Its clear from the context of Revelation 13 and 14 that "beast" is being used in the sense of a wild, adversarial animal. There are a couple of reasons for this. One is because of the use of leopard, bear, lion, and dragon. These are not domesticated animals, but rather they are animals that we would make every effort to avoid. We do not want to cross their paths if we find any indication that they are around. We make a great big circle to get out of their way.

Then, of course, there is the contrast with a lamb—a domesticated animal. Cattle, sheep, and goats are beasts, but they hardly qualify as being animals that strike terror in people.

The Beast being described here would cause our hair to stand on end. It exudes malevolence. It is interested in eating us for food or destroying us for crossing its path—it is a beast that is violent and aggressive and simply wants to perpetuate itself.

"Beast" is being used as a symbol, and the context is not really talking about an actual animal. The beast represents a governmental system, the personality of a system, and that system's philosophy of life. The context is showing us that from the system's point of view, people have no value other than for its purpose, and its purpose is simply to maintain and to extend its existence and power through the use of terror, fear—things that any wild animal would naturally exercise. In the "beast's" eyes, we are fodder or chattel.

Star of Judgment about to Descend
October 20, 2007

I have been traveling in the Philippines for the last three weeks, and on Monday, October 22, I will be returning to the United States. I would appreciate your prayers during the next 30 days while traveling in Texas, North Carolina and California. During the last seven days the enemy has tried to take my life on three separate occasions. Yesterday afternoon, I narrowly escaped a bombing at the Glorietta II Mall in Manila, which left 10 dead and 113 injured in the Philippine capital. The enemy hates intercession. Be forewarned: Any church or ministry planning intercessory conferences or meetings this fall which center on restoring America’s spiritual covering through prayer and repentance can expect major opposition. But do not let opposition from the enemy distract you from being obedient to the Holy Spirit, whereas I believe that literally thousands of lives are now hanging in the balance.

This morning as the sun was rising in Asia, I was interceding on the sands of the Pacific Ocean facing the east, and received a vision brilliant star falling upon the United States. The star was an angel of judgment, and he descended without warning. I saw flags across the nation being lowered at half-mass because of the severity of the judgment. Until the very moment that star descends, there is still time to intercede for mercy. As world leaders prepare to gather this fall in Annapolis, Maryland, to discuss dividing Jerusalem and the creation of a Palestinian state within God’s covenant land of Israel, pray for wisdom and boldness; for the right decisions will not be politically correct or popular, but necessary in order to avert judgment. If the United States continues to pressure Israel to divide Jerusalem and concede covenant territory given as an eternal inheritance to Abraham by God, a great star of judgment will soon descend upon America without warning. It is not wise to join the bandwagon of nations who join together to take counsel against Jerusalem (read the Book of Zechariah).

I must finish packing my bags now, in preparation for my international flight. Hope to see you soon at one our intercessory meetings in the United States. Try to make it to our meeting on 11/11 in Gilroy, California if at all possible, to be held at the Hilton Garden Inn. Your prayers and financial support are not only appreciated, but urgently needed this fall; hotel conference rooms need to be paid for, tickets need to be purchased, and the enemy has really been working overtime to cut off our financial supply-line. Thank you so much for standing with us as we intercede for mercy and spiritual reformation in America this fall (I will be returning to Asia at the end of November).

Blessings,

Blessings,

Timothy Snodgrass

Timothy Snodgrass Info

Timothy Snodgrass has ministered to more than 50 nations around the globe since 1986, and is currently based in the Philippines, a strategic hub for reaching China, Southeast Asia and the South Pacific. He is known for being at the right place at the right tiime, such as in November, 1989, when he and his team arrived in Germany on the day the Berlin Wall fell. Traveling by van with an evangelistic team from Sweden to Amsterdam, Timothy has only been in Germany one day during his lifetime, but that was the day communism fell in East Germany. He ministers under a strong prophetic unction with signs and wonders following, and his words are normally focused on intimacy with the Holy Spirit and the journey to becoming Vessels of Living Intercession. The author of "The Destiny of America" and "The Kingship Anointing", his message has never been a message of despair and hopelessness, but a message of encouragement and mercy to nations which are on the brink of judgment through repentence, obedience to the Holy Spirit and a lifestyle of prayer and fasting. If you are interested in inviting Timothy to come to your area, additional information and church references can be requested by emailing us at: king97848@yahoo.com

I too, do alot of time staring into the heavens, at all times of the night throughout the year, including this same night. This is time spent talking to God Almighty & it has been our time for Him to answer some of my questions. He seems to answer in the affirmative by sending a streak across the sky, its been our way for years. I know this may seem silly, or foolish, but its been one way for me to "hear" from God. Last night one of my questions was, "Do you truly reveal your intentions to some on the forum for the benefit of your chosen?" As I asked this the bible-code was specifically on my mind as well as some posters I regard with integrity. Yes, was my answer. I read your dream this morning and was pricked by it. Its seemed so obvious and clear to me as I read your words, so i thought maybe I should share what I saw with you here. I'll leave it to those who are more involved and have more authority to give it the seal of approval.

Staring heavenward is seeking God, His will for our lives, His guidance, His approval, His coming.
The glory of God revealed by a meteor shower turning into fireworks is a growing in the excitement for what God is doing (revealing, allowing).
During a "dry spell" one (1) event occurs, two (2) shapes tumbling toward you, making it hard to distinguish between the two, but you know they are two. I see a tumbling of good and evil, or good vs. evil. When they land they are one, a compromise. The appearance of a lion, with the legs of satellites. Looks like the disquise of good (godly) from the Lion of Judah, but walks with the evil of the knowledge of man. This compromise is nothing but the roaring lion that is sent to devour man, even the very elect. It shoots at you, and you shout the warning, "get to the house", take cover in the Almighty. You delegate responsibility to the younger over the youngest. I see the same in the oldest in Christ over the youngest in Christ. Everyone has a level of responsibility based on their level in God. The youngest take refuge under the wings of the Almighty while the Oldest, more seasoned, are to take up the armour of a warrior and go on the offensive. You have the weapons you need and the amunition required to do the job.

Some will think the enemy is not so big and terrifing not much to bother with, they see him as small, weak and only derranged but those with "eyes to see" will know the enemy for who he is and take aim and shoot with accuracy with the skill from above. amen

I am encouraged by this. God has a plan, an Order and a Victory!

Always remember, believe Him.

QUOTE(Daniel Jackson @ Oct 21 2007, 07:38 AM)

In a dream once a lion was stalking me. I discerned it was a demon. So as it drew up close to me, I turned and said to it "I rebuke you in the name of Jesus and I take command of you." Apparently it understood all of my words and gave me a startled and frightened look and left.

I also had a dream in which I felt it was a demon messing with me. Unfortunately, I don't think it was discernment on my part because I fled from it (he was trying to kill me) . Only when I cried out the name of Jesus did the dream end.

I suggest again that movements have begun. Don't know what exactly...but 'things' keep pointing towards a build up. I just wish I could sleep long enough to dream....although last night - I fell asleep while the TV was on - and my husband said I was talking in my sleep. Anyone have any idea what spanish galleons making up a floor of a several storey building - one was green with gold writing named "Foxglove" - and glass bouys and a twin boy and girl needing rescuing mean? Have to try and remember more.

but back to this one - I have a feeling of confusion while reading it - but that could be exhaustion - whatever sleep I do get just seems to make me worse - - but there have been a lot of things arouond lately that make me FEEL build up. FOR THREE days I had a feeling of anticipation - but not good - it was like I was too bothered to relax and rest. Really really odd
Simple
This month brings us the return of the famous Leonid Meteor Shower, a meteor display that over the past several years has brought great anticipation and excitement to sky watchers around the world.

The Leonid meteors are debris shed into space by the Tempel-Tuttle comet, which swings through the inner solar system at intervals of 33 years. With each visit the comet leaves behind a trail of dust in its wake.

Times of (prospective) peak activity:

In the Observers Handbook of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada, meteor experts indicate that this year's peak activity should occur on the morning of Nov 18.

But while Leonid rates are unpredictable, it is unlikely that more than a dozen meteors per hour will be seen this year during peak activity, at least for viewer's with dark skies away from cities. Other meteor researchers, however, have examined Leonid prospects for this year and also suggest watching for some meteor activity on Nov 21st.

How to watch

The meteors will appear to emanate from out of the so-called "Sickle" of Leo, but prospective viewers should not concentrate on that area of the sky around Leo, but rather keep their eyes moving around to different parts of the sky.

Because Leo does not start coming fully into view until the after midnight hours, that would be the best time to concentrate on looking for the Leonid meteors.

The hours after midnight are generally best for watching for "shooting stars" anyway, because before midnight we are riding on the back side of the Earth in its orbit around the Sun, whereas after midnight we are on the front or advancing side. After midnight the only meteoroids escaping collision are those ahead of the Earth and moving in the same direction with velocities exceeding 18.5 miles per second. All others we will either overtake or meet head-on. But before midnight, when we are on the backside, the only meteoroids we encounter are those with velocities high enough to overtake the Earth.

Therefore, on the average, morning meteors appear brighter and faster than those we see in the evening. And because the Leonids are moving along in their orbit around the Sun in a direction opposite to that of Earth, they slam into our atmosphere nearly head-on, resulting in the fastest meteor velocities possible: 45 miles per second (72 kilometers per second). Such speeds tend to produce bright meteors, which leave long-lasting streaks or trains in their wake.

Thank you for the responses everyone! Wow! You know, I tried to post yesterday several times...but I got so sick after I posted this dream. It really hit me hard. Anyway....The green fireball in my dream was actually Comet Loneos...I was excited because the Lord allowed me to see it. That night(in reality) I was trying to photograph the comet, but only got a green smudge..LOL! But in my dream is was incredible! I know in my dream I said it was a meteor..but I knew it was the comet. I remembered it yesterday after I posted..but, well, you know the rest of that story. sad.gif

Miki..thank you for posting the differences of the Lion symbols..it was very interesting and helped me see the picture. I must admit though, when I read the post you put down after..the one from Dennis about Timothy Snodgrass' vision...Oh my stomach dropped! I can see how this dream could parallel both my life and judgement upon the USA. I'm leading toward the latter because of the feeling of the dream combined with the two other dreams I've had recently. I think there is a personal message..a warning so to speak about how my husband's eyes are not yet open to see. I'll be the one who's equipped for battle; enough for the both of us. If not, he would have been slain. He was left standing there unharmed. I find comfort in that...I pray that I'm reading into that part correctly.

****As I was typing this morning my husband received a phone call. One of our employees killed himself Saturday night. I'm just sick over this! He's just a baby! Stephen was only 21. He was drunk and he was with friends messing around with his gun. He loaded it, then emptied the clip...His friend said "it's not empty..you didn't empty the bullet from the chamber!" Stephen lifted the gun to his head and laughingly said..'yeah, it's empty' and pulled the trigger.

I don't know how to process this...Oh Lord.. I'm crushed! He was such a sweet boy...I can't stop pleading with the Lord to have mercy on him. As far as I know he didn't know the Lord! I never had alone time with him to even begin to know! My husband has told me stories of the things Stephen & his friends used to do. If he did know Him, he wasn't living it. Please Lord spare him! My mind keeps pulling me back to the man I shot in my dream...it was the same night! Was this wild eyed nightmare trying to tell me he got another soul? Oh God, please help him...I can't do this right now..I'm too upset. Please pray for Stephen's soul...that the Lord have mercy..that his family (his brother and best friend both work for us too) Please pray for them..I'm broken..my heart is just broken.

I'm going to put a copy on the prayer request forum.
I love you all...thank you for praying.

I was distracted too as l began to post on this. First my server went down. Then my joints were attacked. I was backed up with work and distracted. I was going to go back into the Lion code but have decided to just wait. I got this in my mail box this morning however and thought it worth posting here.

ERUPTING COMET: Astronomers in Japan and Europe report that Comet 17P/Holmes is undergoing a spectacular eruption. The 17th-magnitude comet has brightened by a factor of five hundred thousand or more during the past 24 hours becoming a naked eye object in the evening sky. This may signify a breakup of the comet's core or a rich vein of ice suddenly exposed to sunlight--no one knows. Look for a yellow 2.5th-magnitude fuzzball in the constellation Perseus after sunset. ("2.5th magnitude" means a little dimmer than the stars of the Big Dipper.) At present the comet looks more like a star than a comet; it does not have a discernable tail, but it might grow one as the outburst continues.
