These talks, and especially the timing of these talks, will prove of symbolic importance.

Rice's devotion, Barak's skepticism, Olmert's coalition

Time for my print edition weekend column (with Aluf Bann in Jerusalem) - the shortened version. Read the full article (2214 words) here, or a couple of paragraphs (783 words) here:

1.

Defense Minister Ehud Barak came to the American capital with the label "doubter" concerning the negotiations with the Palestinians already pinned firmly to his lapel. Barak assumes that the Palestinians are taking into account two scenarios from which they could benefit: a conference that fulfills their expectations, or a failure, for which Israel is blamed. High-ranking Israeli sources tried cautiously to probe this week just how far U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice intends to go at Annapolis. Will the president let her, for example, put on the table a bridging proposal of her own that will compel Israel to accept a dubious deal, or, alternately, to enter into open conflict with the administration?

Yesterday, Barak had a meeting with National Security Advisor Steve Hadley )President Bush joined the meeting), who will come to the region next week accompanied by his deputy for Middle Eastern affairs, Elliott Abrams. The White House is considered more skeptical than Rice and her people about the chances of an agreement, and Barak almost certainly tried to fan Hadley's skepticism. However, the reality that appears to be emerging is that Hadley and Abrams are not coming to spoil Rice's party.

2.

Secretary Rice devoted her visit to the Middle East this week to aggressive marketing of her initiative. Her message was that it is very much worth Israel's while to achieve an agreement with the Palestinians while Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas and PA Prime Minister Salam Fayad are still on the scene, and while the friendly Bush administration is still in power. She understands Israel's security concerns, but statesmanship is sometimes about making a choice between the bad and the awful, and if the current opportunity is missed, Israel will find itself facing the forces of radical Islam - and also a less friendly administration in America.

3.

America's largest Orthodox Jewish organization, the Orthodox Union (OU), sent a worried letter to Prime Minister Olmert. Its members, skullcap-wearers and mostly people of the right, are not enchanted with Olmert's willingness to put Jerusalem on the negotiating table. The prime minister was courteous enough to reply - with a denial. There are no negotiations on Jerusalem, he promised in his response. President Shimon Peres also made similar statements midweek during a visit to Safed. "There is no such thing as dividing Jerusalem," he said. "The only thing that the State of Israel needs is to ensure a Jewish majority in Jerusalem."

For anyone who is wondering about these political acrobatics, senior people in Jerusalem have offered a circuitous solution: There are no negotiations because the Palestinians can get only what we agree to give.

4.

Shas chairman Eli Yishai, the minister of industry, trade and labor, proposes confining the talks to economic measures, and has warned Rice about the unraveling of the coalition should the core issues, and above all Jerusalem, come up for consideration. Rice maintained a calm, unexcited expression in face of threats of a political apocalypse. Nor did she take umbrage at Infrastructures Minister Benjamin Ben-Eliezer, who said the last time Israel listened to her advice, Hamas came to power. She came prepared to Israel, determined to convene the Annapolis conference, apparently in December. Nevertheless, it appears that she erred in attributing too much weight to optimistic reports about the one-on-one talks between Olmert and Abbas, and did not correctly assess the extent to which their hands are tied by domestic political considerations. The moment the talks emerged from behind closed doors, the expected crisis came.

5.

Rice promised the worried Israelis that the Annapolis declaration will contain three provisions that are important to Israel. First of all, it will cite Bush's letter of April 14, 2004, to Sharon, which recognized the existence of "Israeli population centers" in the territories, and stated that the refugees would be able to return, but not to Israel. Rice took pride in having formulated that letter in her previous capacity as national security advisor, and noted that it was a valuable achievement for Israel. Second, the Annapolis declaration will cite the road map, which makes all progress toward a Palestinian state contingent on the curbing of terror. And third, it will reiterate Bush's statement at the Aqaba summit in 2003, to the effect that Israel is a "Jewish state".

Dennis,

I think Bush and Rice have been in a coma, for what 6 and a half years? If anyone wanted the
truth to whats going on with the peace talks, they would have to ask Cheney. lol.. alot
of truth is spoken in gest. I remember a comedian skit where Bush had found a dog out in
the Whitehouse parking lot and he ran into the oval office and said "can we keep him, uncle
Dickie?" lol that was a funny one. There's no doubt that Cheney runs the nation. He said in
an interview if they had it to do all over again they would do the SAME thing! That was his
response to attacking Iraq.. my good Lord, he's a misguided and confused man.
We know that one world government is not far away. I think Americans and the rest of the
world should wakeup and realise that Cheney's administration is doing someones bidding
in the mid-east. Is it beyond possibility that the USA is the muscle behind the New World Order!
Could Bush be one of the ten kings that reign with the a/c during the new world orders
tribulation? It seems like not much makes sense, but if you look closely the US must lose it's
mantle of being the world's only super power if the EU is to rise to supremacy! It could very
well be that world leaders are at this present time taking orders from SOMEONE in the EU.
Think about it. It all makes sense. Americans should brace themselves for another terrorist
attack, one much worse than 9-11. This attack could very well be with a nuclear device that
kills 100's of thousands of Americans... may God forbid.. but America must realise that they
are living outside the WILL of our Almighty Creator. Americans and Canadians must collectively
and individually repent of sin and walk in the WILL of our Lord Jesus. This is a sinful world
and God will NOT bless a people that are living apart from the devine will of our Creator.

May God bless and forgive us all in His loving Grace. Amen.

Abbas seeks support from Asian allies
By ASSOCIATED PRESS
PUTRAJAYA, Malaysia

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas sought support from key Muslim allies in Asia on Saturday to strengthen his position ahead of a US-hosted conference involving Israel and the Palestinians.

Abbas held talks with Malaysian Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, whose country chairs the world's biggest Islamic political bloc, in his first stop on a tour that is also scheduled to include Indonesia and Brunei.

"We are looking right now for the best coordinating mechanism in order to achieve the best result for the conference," Abbas told reporters, noting Malaysia is invited to the gathering in November or December at Annapolis, Maryland.

The United States hopes the conference will relaunch negotiations to create a Palestinian state.

Abbas said he wants to "achieve a unified position about the conference" with allies such as Malaysia, adding his meeting with Abdullah focused on "a need to coordinate efforts between the two countries to achieve a peaceful and lasting and just resolution to the conflict."

US officials have tried to push Israel and the Palestinians into consensus on the substance of the conference's joint declaration, which would outline a way for the two sides to return to the negotiating table after seven years of bloodshed and diplomatic paralysis.

Abdullah, whose nation chairs the 57-member Organization of the Islamic Conference, pledged backing for Abbas.

When it comes to Israel, God is constantly giving signs. "The Jews seek a sign," Paul said.

I think that Sharon is a sign.

He is still in a comma. He is like the nation as a whole. Alive, and yet dead.

Perhaps he will come out of the comma? I don't know. That surely would be a sign of what God intends to do for the nation as a whole.

coma is a DEEP SLEEP, STUPOR

comma is a punctuation mark,

SHARON is in a coma, he's not in a comma.

my SPIRITUAL GIFT is spelling.....(and stating the obvious)..........

i wanted the GIFT of working miracles, but He didn't give it to me.

notice that the Bereans examined the OT Scriptures to see if Paul was preaching the Truth about Christ.........

God could have worked mighty miracles thru paul to convince the Bereans of the Truth of the Gospel,........but He didn't,..........He commended the Bereans because they studied the SCRIPTURES daily to see if paul's preaching was True or not.

Paul never complained that he must PERSUADE people FROM THE OT SCRIPTURES,..........maybe , it would have been easier to work mighty miracles, but God and Paul didn't do it that way.

so, the Biblical pattern is to PERSUADE PEOPLE FROM THE OT SCRIPTURES, not rely on mighty miracles.

the Bereans did not have the NT (?), Shekel's Bible-codes, Bill Gaither's Home-coming radio show, miracles, TBN, ............
all they had was paul's preaching and the OT.

why is it, that modern-day preaching does very little of..........PERSUADING PEOPLE THAT JESUS OF NAZARETH FULFILLED THE MESSIANIC OT SCRIPTURES, AND THUS , HE MUST BE THE CHRIST?

we've abandoned Paul's method of PERSUADING PEOPLE.

why doesn't this forum have an article that LISTS THE OT MESSIANIC SCRIPTURES and CHRIST'S FULFILLMENT OF THEM? .........just like Paul did it.

Anyway, what if I set you up with a subforum for proofs for the bible called Messianic prophecies or something and then you can work on it?

But I think that you will find that people are gospel hardened and that is why they don't respond.
And many claim to be christians but their lives are the same as everyone else so that there is no conviction to unbelievers. I think that you will find that this is a big problem too.

But if you want to do what you believe was Paul's method then I am happy about that. I would love to set you up and you can write a number of articles and we can comment of them. If you do it I suggest you make a seperate posting about each prophecy rather than one huge page with a million prophecies in it because few read a post beyond one paragraph.

Just let me know when you are ready.

I have found that if you keep the article short then people are far more likely to read it. A good rule of thumb is about 120 words for each post for each prophecy.

You can also have one or two posts that are very large that are pinned at top that contain all the prophecies (each underlined) on one page so people can read it that way if they like, or print them out.

Also, a link from the seperate smaller posts to this main large one would be a very good idea for two reasons: It helps others find the larger post with all messianic prophecies if they wish, and it encourages search engines such as google to rank the main large post high so that others will find it more easily when doing a search on the engines.

My suggestion is that you go slow and post one messianic prophecy at a time --- but that is up to you.

Transcript of Pastor Hagee’s Speech at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) Policy Conference

Good evening dear friends of Israel; thank you for the privilege and pleasure of speaking to this distinguished AIPAC gathering. May I begin by thanking Melvin Dow for his friendship and wisdom that have been a guiding light for me personally and in all out endeavors on behalf of Israel over the years. I also want to thank AIPAC and each of you for being Israels defender in the halls of the US Congress. You are the finest and most efficient advocacy organization in Washington, DC.

On September 10, 1981, we conducted our First Night to Honor Israel in San Antonio and there are two people with me tonight that made that First Night to Honor Israel possible - my wife Diana, the love of my life and Rabbi Aryeh Sheinberg without whose courage there would never have been the First Night to Honor Israel nor the birth of Christians United for Israel. There to my left, would you please stand; Id like you to be welcomed by this great group of people.

We meet tonight at dangerous and difficult time in world history. To anyone with eyes to see and ears that hear, it is clear that Israel is in the gravest danger she has faced since six Arab armies tried to strangle the Jewish state in the birth canal in 1948. I know that during difficult days such as this when it seems that the whole world is against Israel many in the Jewish community nervously scan the globe searching for friends. You look toward the United Nations which Dore Gold calls The Tower of Babble. You look at Europe where the ghost of Hitler is again walking across the stage of history. You open your newspapers and read about American universities where Israel is being viciously vilified by students taught by professors whose Middle Eastern chairs are sponsored by Saudi Arabia. You look to Americas mainline churches and their initiatives to divest from Israel. You go to the bookstore and see slanderous titles by the former President of the United States and you feel very much alone.

I came here tonight to speak about Christians United for Israel and millions of evangelicals in America who have a deep-seated faith-based belief to love Israel, to speak up for Israel, to standup for Israel, to pray for Israel and to financially support Israel until Israel achieves a just and lasting peace.

I came here tonight to deliver a message to you from those millions of evangelicals in America and I want to say this as clearly and plainly as I can possibly say it Israel you are not alone.

There are millions of evangelical Christians across America who consider the Jewish people the apple of Gods eye, who see you as the chosen people, a cherished people and a covenant people with an eternal covenant that will stand forever. Ladies and gentlemen of AIPAC its a new day in America. The sleeping giant of Christian Zionism has awakened; there are 50 million Christians standing up and applauding the State of Israel.

If a line has to be drawn, draw the line around both Christians and Jews; we are united; we are indivisible; we are bound together by the Torah the roots of Christianity are Jewish. We are spiritual brothers and what we have in common is far greater than the things weve allowed to separate us over the years.

As you know, Iran poses a threat to the State of Israel that promises nothing less than a nuclear holocaust. I have been saying on national television, in churches and auditoriums across America it is 1938; Iran is Germany and Ahmadinejad is the new Hitler. Ladies and gentlemen we must stop Irans nuclear threat and stop it now and stand boldly with Israel, the only democracy in the Middle East. The only way to win a nuclear war is to make certain it never starts. Irans President has not limited his maniacal threats to Israel. He has also asked his fellow Iranians to imagine a world without America. This is a clear threat to destroy the United States of America. I have something to something to say to Irans President or Iran; Mr. Ahmadinejad, dont threaten America.

Do not threaten Israel by saying they will pass away in a sudden storm. In the Bible when Pharaoh threatened the Jewish people of Egypt he became fish food in the Red Sea. When Haman threatened the Jews in Persia in modern-day Iran he and his sons hung from the gallows that he built for the Jews. Mr. Ahmadinejads threats against Israel have a way of becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy; you may be well speaking about your own demise when you talk about passing away with a sudden storm, but you are not talking about Israels future.

The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is watching you. King David wrote that thou that keepeth Israel neither slumber nor sleeps. The Christians of America are not going to sit by in silence this time and watch you plod and plan a nuclear holocaust. There will never be another Holocaust - not on our watch and never again.

Beyond that threat from Iran, theres another more subtle threat that concerns me. I am concerned that in the coming months yet another attempt will be made to parcel out parts of Israel in a futile effort to appease Israels enemies in the Middle East. I believe that misguided souls in Europe, I believe that the misguided souls in the political brothel that is now the United Nations and sadly - and sadly even our own State Department will try once again to turn Israel into crocodile food. Winston Churchill said "an appeaser is one who feeds a crocodile in the futile hope that it will eat him last." In 1938, Czechoslovakias Sudetenland land was turned into crocodile food for Nazi Germany. The Nazi beast smelled the weakness in the appeasers, ate the food and marched and devoured most of Europe and systematically slaughtered 6,000,000 Jewish people.

We are again hearing calls to appease the enemies of Israel. Once again, those who would appease seek to do so at the expense of Israel. They tell us that if we want the Sunnis and the Shiites to stop massacring each other in Iraq then Israel must give up land. They tell us that if we want the Syrians to stop murdering the leaders in Lebanon, then Israel must give up land. They tell us if we want the Saudis to permit women to drive and to vote, Israel must give up land. If we want the sun to rise it the east and set in the west, Israel must give up land.

Let me be clear; Israel is not the problem here.

Scapegoating Israel will not solve the problem; the problem is the Arab rejection of Israels right to exist. The problem is that Israel has no partner for peace; the problem is radical Islams bloodthirsty embrace of a theocratic dictatorship that believes they have a mandate from God to kill Christians and Jews. The problem is the failure of the moderates in the Arab and Muslim world to stand up and rein in these Islamic extremists.

If the moderate Arabs believe that murdering Christians and Jews is wrong then standup and say so - this is America. We welcome your participation in free speech but your silence is deadly.

Appeasement is not the answer my friends. To quote the great evangelical abolitionist William Wilberforce, “appeasement is nothing more than surrender on the installment plan.” America should not pressure Israel to give up land and America must never pressure Israel to divide the City of Jerusalem.

Dore Gold in his latest book, The Fight for Jerusalem, said “turning part or all of Jerusalem to the Palestinians would be tantamount to turning it over to the Taliban.” I agree. Jerusalem is the eternal capital of the Jewish people now and forever. Jerusalem is united under Jewish control and must always remain under Jewish control.

Why do Christians support Israel? Truth is not what I say it is. Truth is not what you think it is. Truth is what the Torah says it is; theres the Torah way and the wrong way. Genesis 12 and 3 says I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you. We believe those blessings are very real and those judgments are very real.

Where are the nations that have persecuted the Jewish people? Where is Pharaoh and his army? Where are the Babylonians? Where are the Greeks? Where is the Ottoman Empire? Where are the Romans? Where is that goose-stepping lunatic Adolf Hitler and his Nazi hoards? All are historic footnotes in the bone yard of human history. Where is Israel? Where are the Jewish people? Theyre alive and well; theyre thriving; theyre prospering; theyre growing - even on a day of adversity theyre still going forward.

Where is Israel? Where are those who are scattered throughout the Diaspora? The mighty right hand of God has gathered them from the nations of the world and Israel was miraculously born May 15, 1948. Israel lives! Shout it from the housetop - Israel lives! Let every Islamic terrorist group hear it - Israel lives! Let every tinhorn dictator in the Middle East hear it - Israel lives! Let it be heard in the halls of the UN - Israel lives! Let it echo down the marble halls of the Presidential Palace in Iran Israel lives! Let it ring in the terrorist camps of Osama Bin Laden - Israel lives! Israel lives! Israel lives!

Jews have suffered programs and persecution; they have outlasted Pharaohs slavery and Hitlers final solution, and I have no doubt that long after Hamas and Hezbollah have been buried in the bone yard of human history, long after the crisis with Iran has been resolved, the Flag of Israel will still be flying over the ancient walls of the sacred city and Jerusalem and Israel will be the praise of all the earth.

Why do Christians support Israel - because Christians deeply believe we owe a debt of gratitude to the Jewish people; you gave us the word of God, you gave us the patriarchs - Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; you gave us the Prophets, Ezekiel, Daniel, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Zachariah, Amos, Josiah, Joel not a Baptist in the bunch. The first family of Christianity Mary, Joseph, and Jesus, the Apostles, John the fourth chapter says salvation is of the Jews; thats a New Testament verse. You dont hear it many sermons that preached on that but thats a real verse. Salvation is of the Jews; the point is if you take away the Jewish contribution to Christianity there would be no Christianity. Judaism does not need Christianity to explain its existence, but Christianity cannot explain its existence without Judaism.

Therefore, I have been saying for 26 years over national television its time for Christians to stop praising the dead Jews of the past - Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob while avoiding the Jews who live across the street. Thats anti-Semitism and anti-Semitism is sin and as sin it damns the soul. As Christians tonight on this historic occasion, we ask Gods forgiveness and yours for every act of anti-Semitism in our past. The crusades, the inquisition, Martin Luthers Concerning the Jews and Their Lies; the final solution of Adolf Hitler carried out by baptized Christians in good-standing with their church; the fact that the Roman Church was silent during these atrocities and did not share - we did not share their theology. They did not share our appreciation for the great contribution the Jewish people have given to humanity and to Christianity. Tonight I humbly ask forgiveness of the Jewish people for every act of anti-Semitism and the deafening silence of Christianity in your greatest hour of need during the Holocaust. We were not there; we cannot change the past but together we can shape the future. Think of our potential future together; 50,000,000 evangelicals joining in common cause with 5,000,000 Jewish people in America on behalf of Israel is a match made in heaven.

Let the word go forth from Washington, DC tonight. There is a new beginning in America between Christians and Jews. We pledge to God and to the Jewish people to fulfill the words of the Prophet Isaiah; for Zions sake we will not hold our peace and for Jerusalems sake we will not rest. You who make mention of the Lord do not keep silent and give the Lord no rest until he makes Jerusalem the praise of all the earth. We have organized Christians United for Israel. We have 13 Regional Directors; we have 40 State Directors; we have 80 City Directors and theyre growing. Were organizing Congressional District by Congressional District, so that as body we can standup and speak up for Israel every year in Washington, DC and Congress will know that the matter of Israel is no longer just a Jewish issue; it is a Christian Jewish issue from this day forward.

In closing, I believe 2007 is the year of destiny. America and Israel are at war with a common enemy. It is a war of good versus evil. It is a war of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness versus the culture of death. I close with the words of Winston Churchill, who is my favorite statesman of all time. Spoken during the dark days of World War II when Hitler seemed unbeatable and victory seemed impossible, Churchill said, "you ask what is our aim; I can answer in one word - it is victory, victory at all costs, victory in spite of the terror, victory however long and hard the road may be for without victory there is no survival." Ladies and gentlemen, as Christians and Jews, our aim is victory - victory for Israel and victory in our time. May God bless Israel; God bless America; and God bless each of you.

Rabbis warn Bush: Annapolis will bring destruction to US

Group of right-wing rabbis writes open letter to US president demanding he cancel Annapolis summit or risk provoking 'wrath of the almighty.' Rabbis assert Katrina disaster a result of America's support of 2005 disengagement, say California fires a warning
Neta Sela

A fringe group of prominent ultranationalist rabbis issued a harshly-worded letter to United States President George W. Bush earlier this week, warning him that the upcoming Annapolis peace conference would bring destruction upon America.

The rabbis evoke their previous prediction in 2005, when they published an open letter to Bush in the New York Times, demanding the US rescind its support of the disengagement plan.

"We wrote to President Bush, a man who believes in the Bible, to warn him against the terrible danger to which he is exposing his country by hosting such a conference," said Rabbi Meir Druckman, one of signatories to the letter.

"The land of Israel belongs to the people of Israel. God punishes anyone who coerces Israel to give up its land," he said.

"There is no doubt the New Orleans flood from the Katrina hurricane was God's punishment for evicting the settlements," said Druckman, "with hundreds of thousands left homeless, hundreds killed or wounded and billions of dollars sent down the drain – can we really ignore God's hand collecting an eye for an eye?"

The disengagement from Gaza and the northern West Bank was completed August 23rd, 2005 – which was also the date Hurricane Katrina formed over the Bahamas.

"Despite those consequences, yet again we find ourselves facing an initiative to expel Jews from Judea and Samaria and cede their cities to terror organizations. And once again the patrons of the event are President Bush and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.

"This time the Almighty is warning the US in advance: if the plague of water was not enough now he shall send flames. While hundreds of thousands of families have already fled the terrible fires in California, and we ask you, will you really forge ahead with this malevolent plan?" added Druckman.

The letter was authored by SOS Israel, a right-wing movement which earlier this year distributed citations to IDF soldiers who disobeyed orders and refused to take part in the disengagement.

The rabbis urged Bush's administration to back down from the current direction of the peace process, saying that not an inch of Israeli land should be ceded. "Be merciful to yourselves and the beloved America and its citizens. Lay down the hand you have raised against the Creator in war. Help the people of Israel fight without compromise against the terrorists who rise against it, and then, with a pure heart, you will truly be able to pray: May God bless America," the rabbis said.

Among the rabbis who signed the letter are several leading religious figures, including Rabbis Dov Wolfa, Yekutiel Rap, Gedalia Axelrod as well as the chief rabbi of Kiryat Arba and Hebron, Dov Lior and the son of former Chief Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, Yaakov Yosef.

The Way to Destruction, and the Way to Peace - Jan Willem van der Hoeven - www.israelmybeloved.com

For Israel, the US-backed, European-pushed "Road Map" may most likely result in:

1. The surrender of most of the Golan Heights, Gaza, Samaria and Judea.
2. Civil war among the Israelis.
3. Not true peace, but the arrival at the next stage towards the dismantling of the Jewish state.
4. No secure borders.
5. Judea and Samaria turned into terrorist bases like southern Lebanon and Gaza, with the resulting unnecessary bloodshed.
6. Not enough of the Land of Israel left for all those Jews who have not yet immigrated to return to.
7. A total unwillingness on the part of all Arab and Muslim nations to make peace with Israel unless Jerusalem becomes the Muslim Palestinian capital!

There is however another way - a road that would lead to a true peace in this region.

Here is how one passage in the Bible describes that way:

Elisha had become sick with the illness of which he would die. Then Joash the king of Israel came down to him, and wept over his face, and said, "O my father, my father, the chariots of Israel and their horsemen!" And Elisha said to him, "Take a bow and some arrows." So he took himself a bow and some arrows. Then he said to the king of Israel, "Put your hand on the bow." So he put his hand on it, and Elisha put his hands on the king's hands. And he said, "Open the east window"; and he opened it. Then Elisha said, "Shoot"; and he shot. And he said, "The arrow of the Lord's deliverance and the arrow of deliverance from Syria; for you must strike the Syrians at Aphek till you have destroyed them." Then he said, "Take the arrows"; so he took them. And he said to the king of Israel, "Strike the ground"; so he struck three times, and stopped. And the man of God was angry with him, and said, "You should have struck five or six times; then you would have struck Syria till you had destroyed it! But now you will strike Syria only three times." (2 Kings 13: 14-19)

Peace in history - also in biblical history - has often come only after complete victory.

Both the Bible and modern-day secular history are full of examples showing that when Israel made covenants with, or concessions to, her enemies, the result was not peace but continued resistance to and harassment of the people of Israel.

Therefore this is what I hold we, as believers, should pray for Israel at this time:

Complete victory so that there can be true peace.

As these Bible verses clearly show, peace will come to this region, not through endless discussions and negotiations with unwilling enemies, but through victory.

The notion, repeatedly verbalized by Israeli politicians and commentators across the political spectrum, that a solution with the Palestinians can only be found through the process of negotiations, is entirely false.

Precisely the opposite is true, and former Prime Minister Ehud Barak's failure to achieve a political solution in spite of the far-reaching concessions he was ready to make, is just one of the proofs of this.

No political solution can be achieved through the negotiating process UNLESS an Israeli government was to arise which, for the sake of peace in the region, was prepared to change the nature of the country so that it would no longer be a sovereign Jewish state.

As the late Yitzhak Rabin said:

"Palestine will rise upon the ruins of the State of Israel" (Ma'ariv, 10 February, 1989).

The history of our world fields numerous examples demonstrating that conflicts initiated by aggressive regimes can generally be resolved through military might and resistance alone. To list just a few:

1. Soviet aggression against Berlin was undone by a massive US military airlift.

2. South Korea was preserved as a free democratic nation, not by negotiations, but by America's firm military resolve.

3. Europe was not freed from Islamic invasion and rule by Charles Martel negotiating with the Muslim forces; he beat them in the battles of Tours and Poitiers in France, thereby freeing Europe to pursue its own chosen destiny.

4. While Western Europe was liberated by the military victory of the Allied Forces over the Nazi's, Eastern Europe became enslaved by the Soviet Union for many decades as a result of the 'negotiations' held in Yalta by Churchill, Roosevelt and Stalin.

Where nations were deceived into giving up the fruits of military prowess and opting for negotiated settlements it has nearly always been the aggressor which has won.

Vietnam is a most obvious example:

There, through the Kissinger-led negotiations with Hanoi, the massive military investment America had put into keeping at least South Vietnam a free country was lost; the north overran the south as a direct result of the negotiated settlement.

Neither the numerous treaties and conferences nor the years-long presence of UN peacekeeping troops led Lebanon into freedom and independence; instead, that nation remained largely ruled by its Syrian neighbor, which for years militarily occupied Lebanese soil.

Egypt and Jordan, which both received huge tracts of land and other benefits from Israel through the negotiating process, and as a result of these negotiations signed peace treaties with Israel, have already withdrawn their ambassadors from Tel Aviv and are under increasing pressure to join the rest of the Arab world in the next war against Israel.

Mr. Yossi Sarid and many others say: "In history, every dispute around the world was solved through negotiations."

But history proves that the opposite is true!

The process of negotiations has seldom solved conflicts satisfactorily.

You have to win a war in order to win a peace.

That is the nearly unanimous lesson of history!

One can cry at the blindness of the present Israeli leadership that runs to Annapolis to trade away its divine inheritance for nothing but empty words, words that will not change the basic intent of the Muslim mind to do away with an independent and sovereign Jewish state from their Muslim- as they claim it - midst!!

Yet, I fear that only after Israel has suffered even more violence and many more casualties will its leaders finally be willing to consider what I believe to be the only way out of this present, horrible predicament

Saudis calling shots at Annapolis peace conference? - By Aaron Klein – www.worldnetdaily.com

Israel recognizes plan calling for exit from Golan, Temple Mount, Jerusalem, West Bank

JERUSALEM – In exchange for Saudi Arabia attending this week's U.S.-sponsored Israeli-Palestinian conference in Annapolis, the Israeli government agreed to recognize the importance of a Saudi-sponsored "peace initiative" in which the Jewish state is called upon to evacuate the strategic Golan Heights, the entire West Bank and eastern sections of Jerusalem, including the Temple Mount, WND has learned.

WND obtained a draft Israeli-Palestinian declaration to be presented at the Annapolis conference and to serve as an official outline of a final settlement between Israel and the Palestinian Authority

The wording is still being negotiated by both sides, but according to Israeli diplomatic sources, Israel agreed to a Saudi request that the declaration document include reference to a Saudi-backed Arab Peace Initiative, first presented in 2002 and reissued earlier this year at a meeting of the Arab League, an umbrella association of Mideast Arab states.

When it was first revealed, the Arab Initiative was heavily criticized by the U.S. and Israel because the text requires the Jewish state to withdrawal from the West Bank and Gaza and allow for the creation of a Palestinian capital in Jerusalem, including the evacuation of the Temple Mount - Judaism's holiest site.

The Initiative also called for a full withdrawal from the Golan Heights, strategic mountainous territory that looks down on Israeli population centers and that was twice used by Syria to launch ground invasions into the Jewish state.

But now Israel has recognized the Arab Initiative as a precondition for Saudi Arabia to attend the Annapolis summit, according to diplomatic sources in Jerusalem.

While Israel doesn't commit itself to the Arab Initiative's requirements, a clause in the current draft of the Israeli-Palestinian declaration slated for the Annapolis conference and obtained by WND reads: "We recognize the critical supporting role of Arab and Muslim states and the importance of the Arab Peace Initiative."

The draft declaration is subject to final changes up to Tuesday's summit.

Saudi Arabia announced yesterday it would send its foreign minister, Prince Saud al-Faisal, to the Annapolis summit after the Arab League decided to back the Israeli-Palestinian conference.

Syria has not yet officially decided whether to attend but has made clear it would not send a representative to Annapolis unless the Golan Heights was placed on the agenda.

Syria is in a military alliance with Iran and is accused by the U.S. of supporting the insurgency in Iraq and generating instability in Lebanon. Israel says Syria regularly ships Iranian rockets and weaponry to the Lebanese Hezbollah militia. The chiefs of the Hamas and Islamic Jihad Palestinian terror groups are based in Damascus.

The U.S. extended an invitation to Syria without any preconditions.

While many in Washington have high hopes for Annapolis, recent polls here show Israelis are less optimistic.

A survey sponsored last week by the Israel Policy Center for Promoting Parliamentary Democracy and Jewish Values in Israeli Public Life found 77 percent of Israelis believe Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas lacked the power to prevent attacks from the West Bank.

Sixty-one percent of the general Israeli public opposes a withdrawal from most of the West Bank and handing the strategic territory to the Palestinians.

If Israel indeed evacuated the West Bank, some 55 percent of Israelis believe Palestinians will use the territory to fire rockets into Jewish population centers, and 65 percent believe there is a high or very high chance Hamas would take control of the area, according to the new poll. Hamas leaders in recent days warned their terror group would take over the West Bank if Israel withdrew.

is SHARON still in a coma?

will God put Bush and Rice in a coma?

Olmert?

USA?

will my body and soul still be together after these next meetings?

will the next meetings be GRUELING for all of us?

a GRUELING COMA?

Amen.

The North American Union is well underway, and Bush is nothing more than a puppet president for the NWO. This nation was founded by the Freemasons and the Illuminati, to carry out the final launching of the NWO and their god. This country's destiny was set from the beginning...

Lord, we renounce these ancient idolatries that have permeated our culture; and we ask for your forgiveness and protection over those who love you, and have called upon your Name for salvation. We ask for you to expose this ancient clandestine plot to over throw your throne, show those who have any doubts as to what is happening, right before our very eyes, and impress upon them, that your coming is near. We bless you O Lord, and praise your Holy Name now and forever more...In Jesus Name, we pray, Amen

.....What Was The Real Purpose of Annapolis?

So was Annapolis just showmanship? In pushing the two sides toward the Annapolis conference, what did President Bush really have in mind? Granted, it would be nice to have a Middle East peace breakthrough under his belt when he goes out of office at the end of this year. But aside from that, did he have something else in mind?

New York Times columnist David Brooks asks, “What is Condi doing? Why is Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice spending her remaining time in office banging her head against the Israeli-Palestinian problem?” The answer, he believes, is Iran. It’s about building a coalition of moderates against Teheran, and doing it around an event focused on an issue they supposedly agree about, a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Even though they might not achieve that goal, Brooks thinks it has appeal as an attraction that brings together the potential members of an anti-Iran coalition. He says, “It’s like having a wedding without a couple, because you want to get the guests together for some other purpose.”

Jerusalem Post columnist Calev Ben-David says it may very well be that Jerusalem is motivated by the same thinking. “Indeed, resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict so that Israel can focus on countering the growing threat posed by an increasingly powerful Iran has been a general strategic principle…all the way back to the Oslo Accords” (JPost, November 8). But Ben-David says he doubts that decision-makers here in Israel share Rice’s faith that Teheran’s nuclear ambitions are going to be countered by a coalition between Israel and the likes of Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states.

Still, forming a coalition against Iran was almost certainly one of President Bush’s motives in getting together the Annapolis Peace Conference. Only time will tell if such a coalition really develops from the meeting.....

Now THAT makes sence. That is something I can wrap my mind around and understand. Before I read this article the very thing crossed my mind. The second horn of the ram will be broken. The ram will fall.

Rice is only a puppet--she is the daughter of a Presbyterian preacher--I've forgotten which branch it is; but they teach Replacement Theology, and that states that the church has replaced Israel in G_d's plans, and at this point, I'm wondering if she is a member of the Illuminati too. Hillary Clinton is a Grand Dame in the Illuminati, so I know that women are involved too. Btw, the same with Bush--he was raised in Replacement Theology too, but his indoctrination goes much further than RT--he is a "Skull and Bones" member...
