Hello all...wow..I'm really worked up over this one.
Last night I had a dream of a street map...I was brought down from Ohio over to Tappahannock. As I looked down on Tappahannock I noticed a body of land that was dry and cracked..the whole place was barren..a waste land. There was one man in the middle of this..he was in all black and scared me more than I've ever felt before. He was sitting there in the midst of the ruins at a table and on the table were chips (used in gambling) He threw the chips on the table...
Then I was in someones living room and I kept saying..Oh my God..it's the worst terrorist attack ever known to man!!!! I was in tears..I was very upset. But the man sitting next to me was just snoring away..he wouldn't even budge. I could see everything about him. He looked like the typical 'tv portrayed' couch potato. Big round gut..messy hair..and snoring away without a care in the world. No matter what I said, he would not wake up! I just sat there crying and crying..it was horrible!
There were other parts to the dream, but they're too fuzzy..I just remember being in a storage area..like rows of storage units..It was grey with silver doors..but being there..I knew this is where the attack began.
Now, I've never been to Tappahannock...and vaguely remembered that it is in Virginia. My husband told me this morning it was in VA. When I woke up this morning I thought it was somewhere near Ohio..but then when I pulled up a street map of Tappahannock this morning, I got a chill down my spine. It was EXACTLY what I saw...but the body of dry and cracked land is actually a body of water which runs into the Chesapeake Bay.
I don't know what to think of this...I'm really freaked out. I haven't remembered any dreams for months and now two very significant ones within days! It shook me to my very core... I pray it never comes to pass.

How Tappahannock got its name......
In 1608, this area was first visited by Captain John Smith. The area was inhabited by Native Americans and when Captain Smith attempted to land here he was fiercely driven back to his ship. It was a Native American village and so he gave both the river and the village Native American names. The river became the Rappahannock, which meant "rise and fall" of water, and the village, set upon it, became Tappahannock, which means "town on the rise and fall of water". In the mid 1600's, a trading post was established by Jacob Hobbs. For a few years the area was known as Hobb's His Hole and later as New Plymouth. Eventually, the original name was returned in 1705. On and around the water still remain thirteen homes and buildings from these early days of Tappahannock.
Wow dennis...there is ice water running through my veins! I've had so many 'wave' dreams...it's almost too much! I don't want to be right here! But we all know these things will happen...just trust the Lord in that He will protect us during these times.
It's also strange that it was inhabited by Native Americans. The man in black was definately a Native American..his cloths were all black with a black cowboy hat with turqouise around the rim. I got the impression that it may be a reservation because of the gambling...but then I saw the water on the map. I have to look at my tsunami dream again...

Whew Lisa! I just read your dream and am feeling a little flushed at the moment! I will certainly be praying about your dream. I was reminded of my last dream as well.... when you were crying and screaming trying to get the guys attention but he would not wake up. This is exactly what happened to me in my dream about delievering the baby prematurely. No matter what I did no one seemed to be concerned of the danger. I will be seeking the Lord.

There are only 9 of these reversed Nuns in scripture. Seven of the them appear in Psalms 107. Where they appear it speaks of water.... and not only that I am reminded as to what our conclusions were in the thread. The main conclusion was that the Nuns refered to the "Downfall and rising again"
I just find it ironic that the Town and River you spoke of in your dream was the "Town on the rise and fall of the water.
If Psalms 107 is a prophecy of 2007 which I truly believe it is ...... something is still yet to happen in this year that will cause those that go down to the sea in in ships will see something alarming. The waves... they will mount up to heaven and go back to the depths (Rise and Fall) They reel to and fro.....

We determined that the Nun does mean Fish. It is said to be connected with the Downfall and the rising again a judgement of sorts. The the Nun is the 9th letter of the Hebrew alphabet and as you will see below Malcom points out seems to be connected to the 153 fish. As the 9th letter of the alphabet we discovered that 9 symbolizes finality or the end.

…Your travel from Ohio to Tappahannock … reminds me of 2001 - the terrorist takeover of the plane that crashed in PA… so you came down that path… but that you see this town “Tappahannock, which means "town on the rise and fall of water".” (thanks Dennis) get destroyed…
maybe it's just a reminder - that this is a terrorist activity - not a "naturally" occuring event.
I wonder that the storage locker is like the inside of a submarine.
When my family first moved to NC, I remember a newspaper article about either the continental shelf, off of the eastern coast, or that plate ridge in the Atlantic… that if it were to “move” (as in landslide/earthquake) that it’d cause a tsunami that people on the east coast could not evacuate from… (At the time I said to myself – I guess I won’t be visiting the outer banks any time soon.)
Now, I was thinking … if an enemy (terrorist state with a submarine) had an atomic weapon and put into this potential “shift” area – to cause an earthquake, the movement of the plates would cause a tsunami… since they cannot get close to DC... they sure could cause a lot of (potential) damage ... to the eastern coast.

Funny, I'm reading Jeremiah too.
Oh Don! That is really something! The Lord told me months ago to start reading Jeremiah. He has only let me go at His pace. Before I started reading the Lord told me that by the time I finish reading the book.... that I was to look for destruction! Whew I still do not know what that means fully. If is was just a personal message for me.... my family...church.... the US... the World. This past Sunday... I had one of those gloomy spirits just fall on me. I really felt the need to continually look out the door. Finally I went to the door and just asked HIm.. Lord what is up? He responded with the Storm clouds are gathering! So of course me... I was like Lord is there a literal storm coming or are you referring to the "End" He said he was referring to the End! Whew... I immediately went to the Word and continued to start praying. He told me that I was to start reading in Jeremiah again... He had not let me read there in a short while. He told me that I was to finish the book of Jereimah in 10 days! Please know that I am not predicting the "end of the World in 10 days! I am just not at all sure what this means. Like I said this may be something very personal... but I am seeking! He told me that I was just to Trust Him... and to Rest in HIm!

Wow. Lots of food for thought.
It is interesting that you should mention tsunami. I had a dream a couple of nights ago. OH the contents are suddenly "flooding" back as I write.
I was living at a place near the beach. There was a play at my daughter's school (not her real life school)- and I wanted to go and see it. In order to put the production on, people had given much time and money to support the dancers/actors. The play went well and apparently was a success (the details here are very fuzzy). The play was put on in a HUGE place... like a BIG stadium like place.
After the play was over, the family went back home. We lived in a high rise apartment... with lots of windows. Suddenly water began to pour into the apartment at a high rate of speed. Within seconds, water had risen many stories. Many people were swept out to sea by the current. I was in the water too watching things happen- but I was not afraid. For some reason, I think I remember seeing apples in the water- lots of red apples.

Dani..you are not a NUT!!! That made me chuckle..thanks. You know I was thinking about the thread I started a while back about the twin towers..how there were I believe 50 days and that when I added them it came up to October 31st...that's wild that the path reminded you of the highjacking over PA..I hadn't thought about that. The storage units were definitely outside..I remember it being a very bright and sunny day. The barren wasteland really reminded me of a nuclear attack..it was just dust..there were no buildings left..all that remained was the man at the table.

Pretty amazing dream alright.
First thing l would like to say is that the enemy takes what ever form he wants.
American Indian? Yes...(and many others)
He is using them to bring a curse on the land through the gambling industry. Just one more thing.
But! the Lord has also raised many Native Americans up like great Redwoods to bring the truth and gospel message to the dry and barren land...Especially in the Dakotas.
God has spoken to me about this very thing through Ezekiel 17. The parable of the two eagles and vine.
To keep it short and in a nutshell l'll draw a brief parallel.
God allowed the first eagle (Babylon) to take captive Israel. Why? He wanted them to be a lowly vine so they would turn to him. But instead they turned their leaves and roots to Egypt. Why? Because they wanted to be a tall tree again and broke a covenant and conspired with Egypt.
Although this isn't an exact type l'm assured it's of the Lord through many confirmations concerning this revealing to me.
God brought the American Indians low. The American government is a type of Babylon. Only we were the ones to break the covenant. (treaties) Actually it's hard to know who did which first but it isn't the point.
The point is...that the Indians were brought low like Israel to cause them to turn. But they have found it difficult to accept. It's hard to receive chastisement with out excuse...God made me eat this for myself.
The American Indians (and not all) have turned to Egypt to raise them up. The gambling industry is far worse than the US government...This is the curse on the land. Or one of them... We all go happily down to the sea in ships together...
But some get the life boats
and others will give up their lives for others
and will be rewarded for it in the end because they did it to the least of these.

Val, I sure hope that you're wrong about what The Lord said about you finishing reading Jeremiah. We've simply got to be ready. By the way, in the great depression, so many people out of work tried to sell apples to survive. Apple peddlers and thus apples were everywhere.

Generally speaking...God doesn't forget what nations of people do. We forget and try to get on with it but many things are still left to a justice to come. I can look at my own life and see it as a coming fact.

it leads be to believe it has importance to it...more than is discussed here. (I haven't looked at the Jeremiah aspect yet)
I just know God has been dealing with me concerning the Ez. 17 parable... God hasn't forgotten what has happened in this country concerning treaties and natives...just like he didn't forget the broken covenant with Babylon...
From another aspect...as there should be many... (since as Shekel says) "God's word is pregnant with meaning". To me that means if God gives a dream or a word or a vision "expect it" to grow to the full purpose he intended.

There's a time for every purpose under heaven...The Bible teaches us that there are times of captivity. (I mean numbers of years). Israel has been the example. Even though we don't know the number of years of individuals and nations..God does and l believe those numbers are running out. Appointments with consequences. God is still teaching me along these lines. Much comes from the parable of the two eagles and vine.
One of the things l noticed about the article that l quoted from...Is that they hardly discussed the American Indian...Like they were some kind of side dish...a non entity hardly worth mentioning.
In Lisa's dream the hob was dressed as an Indian...I have to believe this is one of the main roots of a curse that led to many things. We can look at broken promises in Ez 17 to see this. What applies to one applies to all. Even our personal lives.
Wave upon wave....building and building...a gathering storm accumulated over hundreds of years with great strength of purpose. So .... Could this be about a tsunami coming? A drought...no doubt.
But why? Why these things without knowing specifics. Should we just blankly repent? Or should we know what we need to repent of? Broken promises...on every level...lead to the removing of God's hand.
Have you honored your vows? What is your most important vow? And to whom?

There's a time for every purpose under heaven...The Bible teaches us that there are times of captivity. (I mean numbers of years). Israel has been the example. Even though we don't know the number of years of individuals and nations..God does and l believe those numbers are running out. Appointments with consequences. God is still teaching me along these lines. Much comes from the parable of the two eagles and vine.
One of the things l noticed about the article that l quoted from...Is that they hardly discussed the American Indian...Like they were some kind of side dish...a non entity hardly worth mentioning.
In Lisa's dream the hob was dressed as an Indian...I have to believe this is one of the main roots of a curse that led to many things. We can look at broken promises in Ez 17 to see this. What applies to one applies to all. Even our personal lives.
Wave upon wave....building and building...a gathering storm accumulated over hundreds of years with great strength of purpose. So .... Could this be about a tsunami coming? A drought...no doubt.
But why? Why these things without knowing specifics. Should we just blankly repent? Or should we know what we need to repent of? Broken promises...on every level...lead to the removing of God's hand.
Have you honored your vows? What is your most important vow? And to whom?
Since this dream was about this symbolic area
and beginning of the American Revolution
it has to have significance in relation to that.
And then there's the word Revolution ..It means to literally "turn around."
Independence? From Who? (shaking head)
Maybe we've come full measure using Tappahannock as a pivot point.
Could we be about to lose this "independence" that has been an "in your face" independence before God...All having to do with broken vows? It just could be...

the native americans (either north america, mexico, or south america , or all 3) ...........most of them died soon after the DISCOVERY OF THE NEW WORLD..........
the diseases of Eurasia swept thru the americans and killed most of them............
they had no natural immunity to the new diseases from the old world.
so, much of the land was left empty, after the natives perished from disease
why didn't the americans have diseases that killed the Europeans?..........apparently, the natives were relatively free from any diseases that would be "new" to the Invaders.
apparently, the european/asian peoples were an older civilization than the americans........which is what the bible seems to say............the Garden of Eden was in Asia (Iraq).

wow Miki...you've sent chills down my spine. I've had this impression for a while now that, yes, we are about to lose our independence in a big way. You were able to put it into words for me.

I was praying to the Lord before I went to sleep to please give me a confirmation... that I wasn't just fabricating this dream out of stale coffee and the poison being pumped into me. God forbid I start something like that! It's painful to me to think that I could go against Him in some way..even unaware. I don't want to ever go there.

I am reading Levitcus and I think of your dream when I came across chapter 18 verses 24-30.

Then I reading a fictional book on RaptureReady.com called the prophecy of Adam....in it, the LORD says because the Native Americans worshiped creation instead of the creator, He allowed them to be devestated, but now Americans do more evil than the inhabitants they had defeated and destroyed, and so the land suffers from the sin with drought, with fire...

when the Lord punishes a nation, he withholds life-giving water (Amos 4:7) and Atlanta is facing the strong possibilty of being the first city to run out of water...we experienced usual drought here in Ohio, people who have lived in my area of the country tell me they never had the problems of wells going dry...never, in all living memory! But they are dry.
So I am thinking this all ties into your dream...what the Europeans did to the Native Americans will happen to the USA, the land will vomit out its inhabitants, GOD will allow others to destroy us! He will make the land parched. I think of the gambling image in the opening of the dream. America has gambled that GOD will protect her no matter what, because it was established in righteousness, but now, all bets are off..GOD CALLS HER BLUFF...American honored her with her lips, but with her heart and soul...now American has to ante-up! Americans have also been gambling, not just cansinos, but gambling that it will be okay to borrow to live way beyond their means and gamble that there will be no consequences...and so has the gov't. At some point, you have to buy that astronomically high deficit...you can't keep printing money and lowering interest rates and go back into hiding...at some point, the debtor must pay the creditor.

Wow..I didn't didn't put that together! Oh, man..it's just crazy...because my dream about the Lion keeps coming back to me too...it was the same night he killed himself...and with me killing the man in the same manner. I can't seem to let this go..I feel like my insides are being eaten. I guess that's just what satan wants isn't it. I made a post on Oct 20th in Theseventhunder's thread about the christians murdered in Turkey. I didn't know about the fires in Ca..I still don't know if they were going then or not..but I made a comment about the Lords word...I said May the Lord's word spread like wild fires fuled by the Santa Ana winds. I had no idea there were wildfires out there. It's all so much to take in for me right now. Please pray that the Lord will calm me..give me peace. I don't fear what's coming..but I do fear for others and it's very disturbing...almost too much.

being native american I wanted to add some things to this thread. My people are like most others, yes ceremonies were practiced by alot to worship the creation, but there were those who did worship the Creator and honored his creation. I have been present at a ceremony where the Lord was there sitting on his white horse and people tell me they see him alot at ceremonies. They know the Creator but don't know his son. History teaches that columbus discovered america but he landed in south america first and killed more than 250000 native people with his thirst for gold. america has made him a hero when he is not. On our reservations the poverty rate is sky high. There is alot of stereo typing of natives so it is very hard for them to get a job anywhere near, the casinos came and they are the only places for them to work. I do not advocate for the casinos but understand why all the reservations get one. I wish there was another solution for jobs on reservations. but there is a growing awareness of spirituality and on some reservations there is revival
at some of our services we hold forgiving sessions where white americans ask for forgiveness from us and we ask for forgiveness from them. The Lord has told our people that healing will come down the mississippi river started at the headwaters by native americans. we are praying for this prophesy to come true.
